Buy Pisswasser now! Dump every dollar into it

The only other advice is to try signing out and then back into Xbox Live/Playstation Network depending on the console you use. Or you can reboot your console. Hope that works.

    Internet problem

I just registered to the forums to add my case to the list. As of today my save is borked. Whether i reload or reboot my ps3 makes no difference, once you go online it instantly shuts down, removes the minimap, keeps you stuck on the email list and prohibits you from switching characters. The last thin i did yesterday was the second Dom mission with Franklin where you skydive out of the plane on a quad. After ending it I quicksaved via the phone and quit the game.

    Chasing the truth activation

I have sent this into Rockstar and got the following reply (after them repeatedly telling me it was a gameplay issue and that I needed to watch YouTube videos or read online walkthroughs) "Thank you very much for that information. I will process this Bug Report accordingly. If we determine this to be an issue affecting all other copies if the game, we will report this information to the proper departments. In the meantime, please try the following: Before troubleshooting, please check the following: 1. Turn the console off and on. 2. Unplug all power cords and accessories, and then plug them back in firmly. Make sure all connections are secure. 3. Update your console software. Clearing the Game Data Utility: 1. In the XMB home menu, go to (Game) > [Game Data Utility]. Important: Make sure you select [Game Data Utility]. Do NOT select [saved Data Utility], as this will delete all of your saved games files. 2. Highlight the game data utility file (i.e., name of a particular game you have been playing) you wish to delete. 3. Press the button and select [Delete]. 4. Highlight "Yes" and press the button to confirm the deletion. 5. A message indicating the file is being deleted will appear. 6. A "Delete completed." message will appear once the file has been successfully deleted. 7. Once all of the files have been deleted, go back to the XMB home menu. 8. Reboot the game. Thank you again for this information. Hope you continue to enjoy the game! Best Regards, Paige B." Haven't tried clearing the game utility data because the only thing I have in there is the blimp DLC pack. Hope they release a patch soon and I recommend that others with this problem contact R* so they know it is a bug affecting a lot of users.

How many people are having major problems with GTA V?

I wanted to update my situation.....10 month old slim with HDMI......I got the game on day 1 and it kept freezing on bike repo mission, the first real mission of the game. It would freeze in the same exact spot each and every time. I was going out of my mind. I finally went out and got a new copy (@Walmart) thinking, after reading this thread, that it wouldn't change a thing, but I have been playing for 6 hours now and haven't had a single freeze, crash or reboot at all!!!!!!!!!! I still won't forget about all of you and will continue to voice my concerns about the problems with this game to rockstar and whoever else will listen as I had an awful 7 days of anger and frustration that will not be soon forgotten.

    Someone please help, I'm stuck!

Please disregard, I rebooted the xbox and now it's finally working. If there is a way to delete this post, please let me know, or if an admin sees it please delete for me. Thank you!
  7. I had this happen once a few days ago - rebooted the game, problem went away.
  8. I am currently dealing with the "can't get through the first mission (ludendorff) without a system crash / system reboot. This is after following R*'s advice for the "storage issue" solution. This is after I deleted all of my saved files from both the disc and cloud even. Again, R*'s official troubleshooting advice. This is after I purchased a new gen xbox 360 w 250 gigs, and a second DVD which crashed due to the "storage" error. Official troubleshooting advice, mind you. So far R* has advised that I spend about $500 to try to play GTA5 on an old xbox, new xbox, and new GTA5 discs from the store. Well, I did all that and I'm having the same problem on an old xbox, a brand-spanking-new console, and 2 brand new discs. Kind of looking forward to the first patch. If they are working fixing this problem, I would really appreciate an official tweet. If it doesn't work and the company doesn't fix it, I might sue the company in small claims court, just to make a point. They can keep their billion they made off of it, I have no interest in their profits. This is f*cked up.I follow all of their official advice and it just makes me buy more xboxes and copies of the game.

Tips on where to find an Obey 9F Cabrio?

Save the game anywhere in Vinewood. Flush the console memory by turning it off, reboot, load game and look for the cabrio. Give it 5 mins, if it doesn't turn up, repeat the steps. Worked for me.

Try reloading a save or rebooting your game. If that doesn't work, reboot your console.

Vice City Clue in GTA5 could it be

Well i hope they do reboot vice city and they should set the story in two decades...the 70s or the 80s and the present day...who knows it very much work in present day with a new story...Rockster and next gen can pull it off. Also old characters who were dead in the present day like Ray Bulgarian...maybe a young Micheal and Trevor. Maybe a new drug lord who is an tribute to Tommy Vercetti...but please kill off luis in the new one, Trevor should of killed him too.

Is GTA V the game of the generation for you?

Man Of Steel was okay, but didn't really feel like Superman ..Just another generic superhero reboot. Iron Man 3 was meh, I liked it but it was nothing special. I agree with RedX. The Last Of Us is the best movie of 2013.

PC Version of GTA V Discussion

CarLuver, CoD delivers 4 map packs, zombie content, all kinds of stuff, they are continually putting more content per game every year. Rockstar could give you one new map and story every 2 years and a few content updates intermediate between for Online and they would still pale in comparison to what Activision delivers. Alongside that new map and story, comes its addition to GTA Online and the online world there. Maybe GTA VI comes along and delivers a new map, by itself, and access to GTA Online including LS and the new map, stuff like that. It's a lot of speculation, but as much evidence as you've seen for PC version and stuff, i can speak just as much at length to everything that has been said on the record about GTA Online, and this is their step into the MMO world when it comes to this GTA universe, this is their step into ongoing relationships with consumers - not just title to title, but expansion to expansion - direct marketing, ingame purchasing and delivery - more money for them, and thus better support for us. Their words, if you read all official information on GTA Online, they are going to keep this going - this is NOT something to be replaced by the next GTA, on the contrary, it is far, far more likely to deliver the next GTA, you are far more likely to get updates to GTA Online than actual GTA games from now on. This is something they have hinted at and wanted to do and worked at for a long time, it's finally happening, they are changing from a game series to a persistent universe, they are changing from 1 shot releases, to an ongoing development, updates delivered alongside of new content. You'll get introduced to new places for GTA ONline through single player stories - you'll get 2 weeks with the content in the blockbuster sense we are used to, then they'll add it to Online. And Online will be fueled and built up, off of things we are "introduced to" and then "set free in with our friends" Read all the Online stuff, bear this speculation in mind - it's gonna be awesome! They also already said it's going to be more like seasonal tv than movies now - a huge hint that more and more stories and locations are on their way. They will stay in los santos a while, maybe bring back Liberty faster, or wait longer and start with Vice - within a couple years, there will be a full on new location in Online, which brings with it its own single player experience. Soon, you won't have a 20 or 30gb GTA install, GTA Online is gonna be a 100gb masterpiece within 5 years. It will upgrade throughout to keep with the times and get texture packs and such perhaps, and will reboot in about 10. Get better and better over time, but "revolutionize" again in about 10 years. a year or two per location, lots of events, lots of content keeping it fresh, and then boom, new location, repeat. For sure? f*ck no. But they are morons if they don't do it like that. Depending on a lot of factors, GTA V can grow to include SF and LV, then add a NEW LC, a new VC of course, then go back and start making LS new again - it can roll over like that forever, and the way they described it, led to this speculation. It's not out of thin air, now that you hear it, you can probably see it. Eventually, more and more will be on their cloud, too. How long until games are streamed over Steam OS whether we like it or not? Lol. There are lots of short term up sides to the information I've dumped in this thread, but they also have a lot of long term downsides for all of us, that may be outweighed by unforeseen upsides though.

    WTF HAPPENED?!

Reload an old save or just restart your system. When ever I notice something isn't right I just reboot so it doesn't cause further problems.

Buy Pisswasser now! Dump every dollar into it

Bad luck mate, best invest now while you still can! Website is showing 6.98 now. Game is still at 6.69. That means it hasn't even received the 6.7 update yet. This kind of worries me for monday night.PS3 btw. Reboot your game and see if it updates now. We need to calculate the delay to prepare for Monday night.

    Is Franklin CJ's Son?

Yes well if that's the case then apparently has figured out how to travel from universe to universe, You cannot ignore the fact that there are other variables that confuse the whole "universe" thing. Only variable confusing the whole "universe" thing is your deficiency of brain cells. How is it that people can understand when Batman or Superman gets a reboot, but they can't f*cking understand it when GTA gets a reboot?

Try signing in and out of XBL/PSN. That seems to update things for me. Rebooting the game seems to help too.

Load a savegame/reboot the game for up-to-date prices. My understanding is that for the moment at least, the game downloads the latest prices from the social club everytime you load a save game. So it only updates when you choose to load a savegame, which you can take advantage of when buying and selling. In some ways, I'd much rather we got live up-to-the-second updates delivered straight to our games...

    Still no surfing

Eh Idk man, its kinda backwards though since Miami isn't that well known for surfing than SoCal is. Unless they reboot Vice City to be set in Hawaii on next gen Actually that is one location that i've always thought GTA would be insane. They match the geography that R* always does so perfectly.

GTA - Greatest Game Series Of The Decade on Gamespot

GTA is the series of the decade.. no contest. No other series has had this much impact on gaming itself and pop culture outside of games. Other games may have sold more or be held in higher regard by gamers.. but remember that GTA is still pretty much a genre of it's own, with just a bunch of weak pretenders nabbing at it's heels. It invented that genre, it revolutionized open world gaming and is still the best at it. Rockstar revolutionized marketing for games and the first developer to not only brand their games as 'cool' products but actually get them sold as such. GTA IV has proven to have more shelf life than just about any game this generation. It still gets sales other publishers are jealous of, most stores still have it and it still fetches a decent price. Moreover.. other than most series, who've had to change and reboot to stick with the times, GTA has always remained more or less true to what it was and improved by improving on it's core gameplay.. they never 'crossed over', they didn't shoehorn in co-op. It's the series that gets people that think they don't like games to sit up and take notice.

    Please tell me how?

^ I agree with you how it is like a reboot; however, I think that is the main problem why I think people are complaining when they first found out that GTA V was going to be in San Andreas they were probably hopeing that it was almost be a remake of San Andreas but with I guess better graphics and gameplay. Personally I am glad that they changed it up and even changed some things around, since for me if it were say a carbon copy (even if the charcters did not transfer over, but the geographical map did) I don't think I would enjoy V as much. I like how it is now since to me it is a fresher take on the city of Lost Santos.

    Please tell me how?

In theory there completely different gangs. Think of it like a "reboot" of a movie, (but in this case a game) Ever seen the Spider Man movies? Same idea, but completely different people, along with there life and everything. The only thing that really stays is the main idea. If that makes sense. lol

Download DLC 1st or play game 1st for while

I'm going to install the mandatory disc 1, then I'm going to install disc 2, while the discs are installing, I'm going to enter in all of the DLC codes from my Special Edition, after they install, I'll finish downloading what's left in queue(during which, I'll make a sandwich or something). Once all is done, I will be rebooting my XBOX 360 (to be assured that it is running at peak performance) and then I'll click "Play Disc" and I'm sure there will be a "Day 1 title update" to the game, so I'll download and install that, and then it's time to dominate some GTA V. I took 3 days off of work for this, so pumped!
