DON'T READ IF YOU WANT TO KEEP IT A SURPRISE Reliable annonymous sources inform me, of some of the features, settings of GTA V. What I can confirm thus far: Official Title: GTA V Nickname: GTA Fernando Valley Main character: Name, Kesuke Toshiro Age, 21 Race, Japanese Setting: Los Angeles, San Fransisco and New Jersey. Era: Current Basic Plot: Starts in NJ, Kesuke does couple of petty theft missions early in the game that go wrong and he quickly makes enemies with a local gang. Kesuke flees to SF but is pursued. It is in SF where you (Kesuke) learn ninja skills and basic weaponary skills. The arsenal of available weapons and fighting moves is absolutely mind boggling. LA is the final main city to open in the game. Here all weaponary and ninja skills are fully obtainable. Prepare for an ending that somewhat resembles the LA riots, as the final mission of the game involves a gang fight of epic proportions, which you and certain other characters in the game are required to survive to win. Features: Gangs (Lots of them) Huge arsenal of weapons including Katanas, blowguns and poisonous darts, stars, knives, chain & sickle, hooks, hammers, crossbows, ropes, bottles, an axe, molotovs, flame throwers, and spears. Over 40 different firearms, and the ability build bombs. Open Graffitti where as you can spray what you like where you like, and when saved it remains in the game. However spraypaint is very limited in the game and not easy to obtain. It can only be obtained through stealing it off rival gangs which at most stages in the game is not a good idea. Planes: There is a jet that you take between NJ and SF which is about a 5 minute real time flight (can be skipped) inwhich you can walk around onboard. No, you can't hijack or fly the plane and causing to much mayhem on there (like shooting up the plane) will give you 6 stars and the fuzz will be waiting for your arrival at the airport. Skateboards are plesant addition I'm sure most will find, and pushbikes are back and better than ever. 180 different vechile types, with mod shops available. Only certain vechiles can be modded, about 40. Underwater swimming is back and infact plays a massive part at certain times. About 20% (which believe me is alot) of interiors are enterable and inhabited. Also impletented is the abilty to climb almost anything including trees and buildings. One can sit, lay and even curl up in a ball. The cities are roughly the same size as in GTA IV but have an immense amount of country side and small towns added on. The graphic engine looks the same as GTA IV but slightly tweaked and improved. Kesuke has a little bit of AI when it comes to navigating his surroundings. Still wont be released for some time yet, possibly Mar 2012, but from what I've seen, be prepared to be blown away by the shear massiveness of this game.

Details on GTA V have been leaked. Here is what we know so far: -The game is set to release in late 2012 for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, and PC. -The game's story mode will take place in Liberty City. -The game's story mode will feature a veteran to Liberty City as the main character, rather than a newcomer to the city like in GTA IV. -Liberty City in GTA V is estimated to be at least twice as big as in GTA IV. -The game will feature a fully customization multiplayer mode. -The game will have new multiplayer game modes, including Rampage, in which you must kill civilians to earn points. -There will be a special edition of the game titled GTA V: Deluxe Edition. It is not yet known what exclusive content it will include. -The game is planned to be showcased at E3 2012. Psyched about GTA V? I sure as hell am! EDIT: To people asking about the source, here's the story. Someone hacked into Rockstar Games's database and found this information. So he posted it online and it's spreading around the net. This isn't confirmed information in any way, but it sounds realistic to me. It's up to you whether you take at as legit information of a bogus rumor.

Flicking back through old topics and am having trouble finding the "GTA V Leak Topic". Google Search "gtaforums.com Leak Topic" Direct Link I also can't find it via search or by back logging through pages. Seen as that its gone and people can't find it via search function or other. A post has been released last month by Take-Two, the owners of the Grand Theft Auto Franchise. The post was a private casting notice looking for actors: What connects that casting call to GTA is the character named James Pedeastoncan. He was the presenter of the 'Wild Traveler Show' on WCTR in San Andreas.

The last thread similar to this was locked due to all if the spam. I hope that this stays as spam free as possible. Only post if you find something new and exiting or if you have a helpful contribrution.

Okay I just read this article about a while ago, and came to the conclusion that the leaks are just plain sh*t, and are lacking character. R* has been known for making interesting and very detailed characters, and by the looks of all the info we've been receiving, it seems that all the casting calls (from Rush, which some people think is a codename for GTA V) seem to be lacking something significant. Anyways... I'm just going over this article. It's not a leak at all, so don't get your hopes up. I agree with the person that wrote this article (Chris Hawke). Now some of you seem to interpret that these characters are GTA like, but you MIGHT be wrong. Weed evangelist, FPS playing gamer son, WTF? An 'FPS gaming' character does not seem to blend in with Grand Theft Auto. Now if this was ever implemented into a video game like GTA, it would be boring, and a bit too stereotypical. Also, it just lacks too much characteristics R* would create. I could imagine an FPS gamer, who smokes a lot of weed, in a f*cking Grand Theft Auto game. Just doesn't fit right in IMO. Also, an annoying, wise cracking character. This sounds a lot familiar. It also seems very GTA like. But yet, this characteristic has already been used enough in GTA, and it's arrived to the point where it's overused. Come on R*, give us something new, just like you've done in other previous GTA titles... And now on to the big one - Gilbert Gottfried voicing the lead in GTA V. This, I find the most sh*ttiest. Imagine listening to the f*cking Aflac duck, for the whole damn duration of a f*cking video game. Goddammit, these leaks are just plain sh*t. Rockstar is known for making VERY detailed and interesting characters, and judging by the casting calls we've received, it's come to the conclusion that these casting calls are fake and plain sh*t. P.S: I might have left a sh*tload of details out, but just read the article I've linked. You will change your opinion once you read it.

Would they get sued? lets face it im sure at the very least there is probably around 20 people in the rockstar team who know about the game, have worked on it and know of its anticipated release so the question being what would happen if they leaked information, could they get sued? also why havent they already, they scared?
