For those who need catching up: • There's been speculation whether Grope_4_that_date is actually deepthroatgta4. Rumors have been confirmed false; although G4TD is an anagram for deepthroatgta4. • After the ongoing debate, the leaks have been deemed apparently true, due to another leak from James Miller (fans messaged him on facebook). When asked if he thought the rumors were true, Miller states, "Yeah, it seems about right." • "Take-two is not ready to talk" - but GTA5 is pretty close to confirmed. Many agree further confirmation will be on March 6th/E3 • Rumors now point to Vice City as possible location.

I wasn't around when this deep throat guy was supposedly leaking info. But I just read through the posts in question and it doesn't seem like he even told that much which came true. The NYC is really the only thing i spotted, maybe I'm missing something? But anyways this grope guy doesn't seem like he's got any credibility. He'll most probably post some ramblings like the deepthroat guy (which I have to admit were pretty funny and amusing) and drop hints, but they will most likely be things such as "the location is VC" "it's modern" i.e. things we all think are reasonably likely. If he comes out and gives us some info that is really out there, and which comes true then fair play.

They dont have to.. But they do have a great history of announcing games in March and we have that poster Opens March Everywhere and first IV trailer came out March 1st. No, they've only announced one GTA game in March. Most of them were announced in May. Title / Announce Date Vice City / May 2002 San Andreas / March 2004 Liberty City Stories / May 2005 Vice City Stories / May 2006 GTA IV / May 2006 Chinatown Wars / July 2008 GTA IV: TLAD / November 2008 GTA IV: TBOGT / May 2009 And the "Opens March Everywhere" poster was from 2009 and hinted at EFLC's March 2010 release for the PC and PS3. The only thing we can really go on right now is that the first GTA IV trailer came out on March 1, 2007, but why would they choose to announce GTA V on that same day? I'm just not seeing any pattern here. Well we need to get jnzooger in here then. He can formulate a pattern out of damn near anything. As for me, I doubf there'll be an announcement now, but I do think we may see a teaser of some sort. Maybe a logo of something. Those leaks were not accidents.

They will stick to their original plan which probably does not involve a GTA V announcement for months yet. At least let L.A. Noire come out first. Now that I think of it though, a handheld GTA would not be GTA V, and that's what was listed on Declan Mulvey's resume before he changed it. I feel a little better about that now. Doesn't stop us all hoping though does it. i do agree though.

YEAAA. They're active. For the next couple weeks they should be working on them. Now the major possibile leak will be uncovered soon.

Look at the creation date of this thread Jan 10 2011 Made before that information was leaked. Hardly rocket science to see that there was no way to know if rockstar would register multiple domains

The kind of information that was leaked before San Andreas released was a total giveaway that the game was going to be a "ghetto" type of game. I don't think we could see similar leaks like that for GTA V.. But as you said, there are more that could be leaked, so lets just wait...

i just hope we don't spoil the game for ourselves in the pursuit for leaks, would maybe serve us right though...

What more could be leaked? If I remember correctly scripts for San Andreas were LEAKED with a few lines from a few characters in early-mid 2004. One of them was DEFINITLEY Mad Dogg, although I can't remember the others. What I do remember is people instantly compared the name to O-Dog from Menace II Society and deduced that San Andreas would be a more 'Ghetto' game. I think this script leak occured before the first San Andreas trailer/full website launch although I'm not entirely sure. It definitley happened after it was announced though. So there is definitley more that could be leaked!

Rockstar probably has the whole marketing strategy planned out for GTA V already, and I don't believe they are going to change anything because of a couple tiny leaks with no real information. If they change one thing, then everything gets thrown off. They are experts when it comes to marketing and I'm sure they have the perfect strategy. Exactly, what could be leaked? before the domain names & the CV, would you have guessed that those were the sorts of things to be leaked? That's my point exactly. I think a lot of people will agree that after all this time of waiting things feel like they are finally starting to happen. 2 pretty major things in the matter of a couple of days, it feels like the next piece in the puzzle is just around the corner. People can feel it, it's why there is such a growing amount of attention around these forums and this topic.

You play as a Chinese woman!" Here's another thing to think about: R* will no doubt be aware of the recent leaks, so if some more come about then would R* make an early announcement through fear of important information regarding GTA V getting released without their wishes? After all if info is going to be released anyways it may as well actually come from them.

What's more, if he was doing motion capture or whatever in 09, they must have been working since 08 or something. On top of that, they must be well into the production by now. I believe they are far in production right now. I guess that work started even before IV was finished. Of course they did, infact theyve been working on V since Early 2007, so its been what, 4 Years since work on V initiated? Theyre probably 75-90% done with it, theyre probably just half way through voicing and story I guess. Expect something in March or E3! That sounds about right. @G4TD, Well when was Agent announced? Wasn't it like in 2007 or something? If Agent was their priority, I think we would've seen something by now.
