Btw didn't that rockstarleaks guy say he wouldn't leak anything until the e3? Well he just did that considering this info is real... But if this all is true then why would he leak more info? Maybe Rockstar refuses to negotiate?

It's something to pass the time, people like puzzles, it's part of nature. If you don't want to take part in these puzzles and pass the time then don't come into the topic it's that simple, all you have done is go off topic. The way I look at it is these little puzzles even if they are fake are actually getting people to work together rather nicely, and not fight all the damn time. Which is nice for a change considering half the time it's f*ck you.....no f*ck you in alot of topics. Well I pass the time by taking the piss out of these 'puzzles', because when people get duped it's time for a reality check, with a bit of humour thrown in. It is a bit ironic that a 250 page leak topic has zero leaks in it.

Can someone just quickly tell me what's going on ever since Rockstar leaks left.....
-
Actually, if you squint your eyes at that string of code, it seems to say "bollocks". Because that's all this thread has been for 200 pages. Which is fair enough, site hits are healthy. I reckon R* are rolling round the office laughing at the paranoia, and they havent had to spend a penny on generating any hype yet. Now Victor Cetti has been busted, let's hope his uncle Sandy Reas shows up and gives us some real 'leaks'.

i got it from the link on his twitter, there are no viruses and to be honest nothing that couldn't of been created by him! why would R* games give two sh*ts about comparing their game to call of duty or resident evil 5!! (see the downloaded files) to me it smacks of deperation from "rockstarleaks" just trying to get attention. maybe I will be proved wrong but I very much doubt it!! How the hell does the leaks benefits someone named "Rockstarleaks" a GTAforum? Answer am waiting.... ...... ... .... This only benefits Take 2/Rockstargames. Viral marketing. You guys need to watch Stocks sometimes and just not forums..!! SMGDH! its called trolling, some sad ass b*tch just getting jollies from people reading his posts and getting so excited they practically cream their pants!!

The thing with Grand Theft Auto is, Rockstar loves to mock, parody & over-exaggerate pop culture. Whether that be movies, famous news stories, products & advertisements filling up internets, magazines & billboards across the country. I mean if you look at GTAIV you can't go 5 seconds without encountering an instance of mockery. Think about it, what has taken the spotlight away from Grand Theft Auto series while the next game is in development? Call of Duty. This obsession with CoD is something that has passed me by, I must admit, but you'd have to be living under a rock for the past few year to not know about the game. For Rockstar to put even the tiniest reference to it should not come as a surprise to anyone who knows GTA. The leaks shouldn't be cast off just for the trivial reason that a character that likes FPS & smokes weed won't fit into your idealism. These leaks are minor, minor characters in my opinion. Radio personalities, maybe as low as talk show phone-in guests, (if the TV makes a return) characters in a show on the in-game tv. Main protagonists & ancillary characters' casting adverts will be locked up tight, of course. So I wouldn't get too down over the fact that you think it might be boring because you probably won't even notice them in the final game.

Actually, I never believed the 'leak' for Rush, I believed the one with James Pedeaston. I don't know, seems real to me. What do you guys think?

What the f*ck is going on? LOL.. 20 pages just came out of nowhere. Something got leaked?

You're probably right. Of course I'm right - every quote, repost is practically punishing the employees at Rockstar, for what reason? We're all excited to hear about the next GTA but why such bruteforce? What will we gain from leaking employee's private information? Yes - I've now taken a chill pill and leaving thisleak stuff

@MasterK - Even though they aren't very detailed at this point, it still gives off what the character might be like. An FPS gamer. I already know that's going to be a f*cking no life fatass, who smokes weed. Oh wait, he does, and apparently a lot of it... I don't get how a character like that could be in a video game like GTA. Anyways, I suggest reading the article... Oh, and that Gilbert Gottfried thing is just plain bullsh*t. Just another leak we know is fake.

Many people, long lists, lots of numbers, many letters, codes, encryptions, deleted posts, mods attacking, edited posts, deleted data, R*leaks? Does this help? No.

There have been two casting leaks. The first one under the title 'RUSH', and the recent one under the title 'Private'. I know for sure that one of them is totally made up, but I don't know about the other one, though I won't specify which casting call is the one that's really made up, and I won't tell why!

Okay I just read this article about a while ago, and came to the conclusion that the leaks are just plain sh*t, and are lacking character. R* has been known for making interesting and very detailed characters, and by the looks of all the info we've been receiving, it seems that all the casting calls (from Rush, which some people think is a codename for GTA V) seem to be lacking something significant. Anyways... I'm just going over this article. It's not a leak at all, so don't get your hopes up. I agree with the person that wrote this article (Chris Hawke). Now some of you seem to interpret that these characters are GTA like, but you MIGHT be wrong. Weed evangelist, FPS playing gamer son, WTF? An 'FPS gaming' character does not seem to blend in with Grand Theft Auto. Now if this was ever implemented into a video game like GTA, it would be boring, and a bit too stereotypical. Also, it just lacks too much characteristics R* would create. I could imagine an FPS gamer, who smokes a lot of weed, in a f*cking Grand Theft Auto game. Just doesn't fit right in IMO. Also, an annoying, wise cracking character. This sounds a lot familiar. It also seems very GTA like. But yet, this characteristic has already been used enough in GTA, and it's arrived to the point where it's overused. Come on R*, give us something new, just like you've done in other previous GTA titles... And now on to the big one - Gilbert Gottfried voicing the lead in GTA V. This, I find the most sh*ttiest. Imagine listening to the f*cking Aflac duck, for the whole damn duration of a f*cking video game. Goddammit, these leaks are just plain sh*t. Rockstar is known for making VERY detailed and interesting characters, and judging by the casting calls we've received, it's come to the conclusion that these casting calls are fake and plain sh*t. P.S: I might have left a sh*tload of details out, but just read the article I've linked. You will change your opinion once you read it.

Can't believe this is turning into some CSI sh*t right now Just love how we all become detectives when rumors leak, keep it up GTAForums !

Fellow Rockstar North employee, please leak and confirm the location is actually Vice City in a way it's obvious to us but not obvious to the rest of the Internet; therefore, only the hardcore fans will be pleased and the marketing efforts will be mostly unaffected. Thank You.

Where did R*leaks post go? Hey, Mati, I'll post it:

Of course, the theory that asserts that the leaks are coming from Rockstargames is plausible.
