He leaked documents of the next gta game on the web, and you think he comes off with just a threat to take legal action? Anyone with a bit of knowledge(or anyone who is not that GTA horny and can actually still think normal when on the forums) can understand that if these where real he wouldnt have come off with just a threat to sue him, this is sensitive bussiness information, and stealing such information or even having property of this outside R* knowledge or approval is prohibited. And there is another simple thing you have forgot, why the hell wouldnt r* sue him for it? He actually broke the law in multiple ways, and apart from that made a lot of work useless they executed. Overall that would be a few milion dollars of damage.

If his intentions were to just troll for a day and then come clean why not make up what you please on a GTA forum about GTA V. He claims his intentions were noble as he was giving Rockstar time to release info about GTA before he does, his tricks were meant to go on longer than a day clearly. Furthermore even if his material was fake, why wouldn't he just leave all his tweets as they were and just in his latest tweet, come clean that he was lying. Instead he deleted everything...which leads me to believe he was told to apologise,delete every trace of the leaked docs and say he was just trolling. Honestly I don't know what to believe, I just posted what I saw and if this was indeed fake then thumbs up for the effort R*leaks put into this and if it's real then thumbs up for the info, either way this guy is awesome...XD

If the files were indeed legit and people all over the world were downloading this leaked info i don't think R* would want all their upcoming game info leaked so they silenced the leak. Do you really think someone would go to all all that effort and write pages of gameplay and the like, and then end the joke very shortly? I've seen people go through this much effort to troll this board for a much smaller amount of time. Hell I've seen people dummy up screenshots for fake articles they've posted.

I have been thinking that it is a little odd that this is (supposedly) the first GTA that has ever had leaks, and why R* didn't register those infamous domain names from a shelled site.

He told us this last night in this thread...a City that would be remade and an overseas location. SO he really isn't leaking anything new, we could kind of figure those two places out.

I mean he said he won't leak anymore stuff then he did(max payne3), and now he did that encrypted code. Revealing the new locations. what made him change his mind about leaking more info? hes probably bullsh*tting us/ thought we wouldnt decode the code....

The thing with Grand Theft Auto is, Rockstar loves to mock, parody & over-exaggerate pop culture. Whether that be movies, famous news stories, products & advertisements filling up internets, magazines & billboards across the country. I mean if you look at GTAIV you can't go 5 seconds without encountering an instance of mockery. Think about it, what has taken the spotlight away from Grand Theft Auto series while the next game is in development? Call of Duty. This obsession with CoD is something that has passed me by, I must admit, but you'd have to be living under a rock for the past few year to not know about the game. For Rockstar to put even the tiniest reference to it should not come as a surprise to anyone who knows GTA. The leaks shouldn't be cast off just for the trivial reason that a character that likes FPS & smokes weed won't fit into your idealism. These leaks are minor, minor characters in my opinion. Radio personalities, maybe as low as talk show phone-in guests, (if the TV makes a return) characters in a show on the in-game tv. Main protagonists & ancillary characters' casting adverts will be locked up tight, of course. So I wouldn't get too down over the fact that you think it might be boring because you probably won't even notice them in the final game. Exactly, also I've seen casting notices before and they don't go into any deeper detail than what we've seen here.
