Hint: any event rumored to announce GTA V will NOT announce GTA V. Was it really that long ago, when IV was in the works and countless, wishful "leaks" popped up left and right constantly? Nothing has changed. The announcement will not be expected.

There were several topics over here about the leaked (loading) screens, guess they are locked and/or deleted.

But on top of that, I have no clue what you're trying to say. You didnt provide a coherant argument of the "answer" you speak of. BTW, The GTA III went Liberty City>Vice City>San Andreas people say that vice city will not be done mostly because it has been done twice already. You must think I'm an idiot. That article doesn't talk about the area surrounding Hollywood at all. In fact, I'm positive the leak was made earlier this year so why do you feel the need to bring up an article from 2009? Everyone knows the setting to L.A. Noire. So what is the point in even mentioning it? Oh, and would you be so kind as to share the hints from the expansion packs? Not that it would kill you or anything... I made it clear in the post that you say you have no idea what I'm talking about that I didn't play the two games. Lastly, Vice City not being chosen again simply because it was used twice is a terrible excuse. How many times did they use Liberty City now... eight times? And yes, I know the order of the cities being used. You are wasting your time telling me what I already know as my point was that they could mix it up once in a while. I do agree that I could have came up with a better title for my thread, but do I need to tl;dr my posts now?

I was looking through the GTA III manual seeing if I could find the name of the guy who worked on the GTA III main theme and I couldn't find it. But at the same time I was reminded of how obvious it was that not only would the next game be set in Vice City, that it would have a pretty strong Scarface vibe to it as well. Every song listed on the Flashback FM channel with Toni was used from the motion picture Scarface. Then I got to thinking about GTA IV. It might sound silly, but the answer could be right under our noses, in the little features that we take for granted. Most people are thinking Los Santos, right? Some insider leak or whatever from a while back. That's understandable. There's a big emphasis on celebrity life in Liberty City. And when most of us think about celebrities, we think about Hollywood. On the radio, television, Lazlow himself even acts like a washed-up celebrity with a douchebag attitude. Imagine what he'd be like in Los Santos. There was also the billboard explaining how you could visit Los Santos for a couple hundred dollars. I know there's also the possibility that it could be Vice City... but who is to say that Vice City won't be the location of the GTA after GTA V? Why does it have to be the same order? I'm sure they can mix it up so that with this generation we see Liberty City > Los Santos > Vice City. I mean, yeah, we see people in Liberty City talk about Vice City but, to be blunt, that's just not good enough. It'd take the fun out of speculating what the next location would end up being if it were THAT obvious. I might be missing something. I never played The Lost & The Damned or The Ballad of Gay Tony so maybe there's something on Los Santos in the episodic content for GTA IV that could be discussed alongside what I'm talking about.

Grope really ticked me off trolling the leak thread, but he makes damn fine arguments here.

I doubt he's lying... he's already taking a chance with the NDA and that's one awkward website to post a leak... but hey at least it's not one of those it will be in SA or VC nonsense... if he's accurate, i guess that explains the where is the blue hunt

Oh wow, this is just like last year when we had all those "Vice City 2" shots apparently being leaked from the E3 line up papers, come on guys, get more creative, same prank 2 years in a row?

I hope this is true. However, what's to say the person who leaked this 'info' is trolling? We just have to take things like this with a pinch of salt until it comes from sony themselves.

Looks like the world-wide press are now regurgitating parts of this 'leak' with E3 not far away...

They held a lot of stuff back from the main IV disc so I spoze I'm excited to see if they don't hold back on features. But I don't think I ever been hyped for any unannounced game as I am now, we've got the tiniest leaks to try and squeeze some clues for the next location from. I think I only got excited about IV when I heard the first trailer was getting release. Ever since I saw that the hype peaked for me.

Now before I continue my post I would like to make two statements the first being that I have no affiliations with the hacker group anonymous thought to be behind Sony Computer Entertainments recent troubles this is just an appropriate screen name. The second being that this is real those who want to believe this is fake you have every right too it has no effect on me at all but remember what I said, this is real let the post continue. I have something to tell you all I am a low level dev at R* North and I have some information about "GTA V" not much but some the first piece of information I have to tell you is that this is BIG we have been exploring many new great features and many old ones from previous titles in the series, we can reveal more about these at a later date. The second piece of information I have to tell you is that the setting of "GTA V" is top secret but I can tell you that the setting is a true living breathing place with unique events and dynamic areas the map will be one of the biggest in GTA yet, sadly this is all I can say about the setting at this date. As for the release date all I can say is that its sooner than some may think (2013-2014) but is farther away than others think (late 2011-january 2012) again we will reveal more at a later date. Regarding previous leaks the only one I am sure about is the website domains this is to my knowledge 100% real as for the casting sheets I am unsure about them as I do not have access to this information yet and im sure you all know that all screenshots have been faked by people trying to cause a stir. I don't want to start new topic for this, so I wrote my idea here. I guess, the most of you have already seen leaked video, which tell us that the GTA V will be set in Honolulu. I think, this video is fake. In the first, the camera isn't stable, this is very bothering. In the second, one who can work on a big project like this won't tell us anything, and in the third, this graphic doesn't look like the RAGE, and the Rockstar has told before that they won't use new engines, they would like to explore engines which they used in GTA IV. On the on the other hand, this game looks like it is under developing, and it is played on TV (there aren't any big modifications on consoles), but we know that effects could make easily, and we can connect television to a computer. So probably this video is fake. But I just realised something. I think you know the TV series Hawaii Five-O. It was started in Hungary a few months ago. It was advertised as "american's new favourite tv series". Five-O was noticed often in the Ballad of Gay Tony, and I have never heard it before. I know the new season of hawaii Five-o was announced in 2010, after release of TBoGT, but the old series had some seasons between 1968 and 1980, so it had already existed. If you look at this page, you can see some FBI agents. I know that FBI isn't Five-O, but both are agency. And the Rockstar looks for two american FBI agents, in the series there are two amercian and two asian agents. One of americans, Scott Caan is divorced. Calvin North Rush character is divorced, too. Mitch Hayes is in great shape and he is successful like Alex O'Loughin. Probably, this is only a speculation, but this wasn't the first when Rockstar based a GTA game on a tv series. Just remember for GTA Vice City. It was inspirated by Miami Vice. I don't say that the video isn't fake, just that Honolulu can be the location.

Wow V sections gettin a little desperate since the leak topic took a crap.

I think Sony will get to reveal info on Agent, and R* will rally behind Max Payne 3 and maybe new DLC for LA Noire. If we're lucky R* might do some behind closed door GTA info and let the rumors leak and stir for a while, but I doubt there will be any public info on GTA next. But now that it's known that Nintendo is making a HUGE reveal I hope that will get the others to want to step up their game so as to not get totally overshadowed. If I remember right didn't Nintendo have the best PC at the last E3? Even though MS did have Kinectimals. I doubt Sony or MS want to get slapped again.

The thing is they said before to open new topics if we found new leaks, i don't agree with it, so i hope this stays clean and un-spammed with true leaks.

Flicking back through old topics and am having trouble finding the "GTA V Leak Topic". Google Search "gtaforums.com Leak Topic" Direct Link I also can't find it via search or by back logging through pages. Seen as that its gone and people can't find it via search function or other. I feel it appropriate to start a new Leak topic to refresh on previous "Leaks" and dismiss SPAM.
