QALive got patched internally. There was no update today. That gives about a week. Hmmmm. Also, someone seems to have messed with one of the thumbnail images. if you guys are still not getting anywhere with the various suggestions since yesterday, might refer to the Steam forum thread under Grand Theft Auto 5, called "How to play GTA 5 without sh**ty Rockstar launcher?!" They weren't amused by getting this Rockstar Launcher dropped on them and having issues of their own now. The top of that thread is a community tool called No_GTAVLauncher. On a whim I placed it in the game directory renamed RDR2.exe to GTAV.exe and.. what do you know.. Create a new text document inside GTAV installation dir, rename it to steam_appid, write 271590 inside and start the game from GTAVLauncher.exe.

Just a small note for the people that can't be bothered to manually rename/move/delete/etc. the dlls; use this: Open notepad, paste that, save as <whatever>.bat, place in the same folder as GTA5.exe and the dlls, start it, press 1 to rename them for Offline, and 2 for Online. Simple as that. Of course, this applies to the steam version (hence the steam://rungameid/271590); replace that bolded part with whatever .exe you use to start the game normally. You can even make a shortcut on your desktop for it. Shockingly simple, I know Btw, I've renamed the dsound.dll of Mr. Blade's asi loader to asi_dsound.dll, because I also use the fov fix.
