Why would they keep them the same? Wouldn't that be boring and unoriginal? They look pretty cool as they are now, and I personally don't have an issue with them. The only "Saints Row looking" car is the Zentorno
-
Where's Saints Row 2 and CoD Black Ops? Ultimate winners. Crysis, R6 Vegas, Metro 2033 were OK.
-
Saints Row cars? That's one sh*tty comparison. Hell I prefer a lot of HD era cars compared to their 3D era counterparts (Super GT, Turismo, Stallion, etc...) though I do prefer the 3D era Sabre as the HD era Sabre GT is I don't know how to put it, too big? But still very good looking.

Why did car designs change from PS2 to PS3?
Cheatz/Trickz replied to RayB_ThrowaStack's topic in GTA V
All the IV and V era cars including the Voodoo and Sabre are based on real cars and look exactly like them, far from "fake Saints Row cars". IV and V have the most realistic fictional cars in any game. -
Voodoo is a lowrider in 3D and HD era. Does it look similar to Impala? Yes, it does. Na chuj drążyć temat? I like Compton from Saints Row as well, but its raised front reminds me of V Blade.
-
For example the Sabre and Voodoo were my favorite cars and they changed them. Now they look like fake Saints Row cars. Why? The Sabre before resembled a 1970 Cutlass it was nearly an exact replica minus the split in the grille. Exact body and bumpers and all. Now on the PS3 & PS4 we get a 70 Cutlass rear end and a front end that somewhat resembles a Buick Skylark, and the sides dont resemble either car. Then there is the Voodoo which looked just like a 1960 Chevy Bel Air. Now it looks like a 60 Bel Air merged with a 64 Impala and it just looks awkward and wrong. Looks like a fake made up Saints Row car, actually the "Compton" in Saints Row 2 was much better, a replica of a 64 Impala. Why didnt Rockstar just make a 60 & a 64 instead of combining thm into one mashed up awkward looking vehicle? Licensing issues? The average player isn't going to care or probably even notice these things but to us car people it really bothers us. There are other cars that have been screwed up also, but why? Takes away from the immersion when I see made up cars in the game. I like it better when they look more like their real life counterpart.

Now the driving I can agree with you on, it certainly does need some work as it feels just like Saints Row 3. Watch Dogs cant live up in terms of production value and quality to GTA V. GTA V has this many little things making the gamr high quality. The fact WD is SP focused doesnt better anything btw. Just look at WDs current Playerbase... basicly non-existent Sorry man but there are things Watch Dogs definitely does better without a doubt! 1. Stealth - this one is undisputable as stealth is nearly useless in GTA V which leads to point number 2 2. Police Wanted System - stealth is useless in GTA V and animals can report crimes to law enforcement and the cops always know where you are no matter what or how stealthy and silent you are. 3. Gun Sounds - Again no contest, Watch Dogs takes this one easily! 4. High Quality Story DLC - Bad Blood introduces a new playable character, T Bone, and was properly announced, communicated, and released in a timely manor! Meanwhile 2 years later and still no word of Story DLC for GTA V! Gee, how professional of you Rockstar!!! One more thing: Kudos to Officer Garza for taking the fight to the Rockstar defender fanboy squad! For that I salute you sir, well done my friend! Yeah 4 points...and thats pretty mich it. Though the last point doesnt realy count...not releasing Story DLC doesnt make the game worse in any shape or form Other than that: - GTA Vs map is way more detailed and bigger - GTA Vs technology(Ambient Occlusion, Fooliage, PoP in and LOD scare are way superior, while Watch Dogs uses a half assed not fitting system for LOD - Watch Dogs overpromised on Graphics WAY too much (And thats a FACT btw.) In GTA V screenshots and Trailers(excluding Trailer 1) look way more like the actual game - Watch Dogs writing and story line, abhorent....(Its like EVERY GOD DAMN UBISOFT GAME....ALLWAYS Family Member dies: Protag goes on a revenge story.-Same Story sample for AC Unity, Far Cry 3, Far Cry 4 et cetera - Watch Dogs mission design has a good core, but becomes reppetetive very fast. - Watch Dogs Driving and cars,...(Do I realy need to explain this further ?) I dont doubt that Watch Dogs is a good core game, however GTA V is just better in most(not all) aspects and in general the better more high quality product.

WD stealth is indeed better, but if you played the game, I'm sure you at least once took a boat to escape that difficult police chase. And you're also right about the story DLC. Better announced, communicated and released than the infamous E3 trailer. Agree with you on all things (Irony mode ON)

So despite the fact that the game was overall sh*t, its good that it was SP focused? Watch Dogs overall is a pretty solid game and it was Ubisoft's first IP in that arena and I think overall they did a pretty good job! The game is certainly not sh*t and has some really cool features and a very good Story DLC(Bad Blood). Some of them yes, some no. Brands are always dirty jokes, almost always. (ECola, Prolaps, Enus, etc) This is intentional, but at least the names aren't generic bullsh*t seen in Sleeping Dogs and Saints Row. Where is the intelligence in Freckle Bitches? At least there's some subtlety in GTA brands.

i feel like alot of backlash against v is because of the hood elements

"Dan says that no one before GTA IV will be in it – the move to HD created a schism in this fictional universe, rendering CJ, Toni and co, as mythical characters from a bygone era. But will we see stories from the previous game looping into this one? "I think that might be too mannered," says Houser. "Niko had a particular kind of story and we're trying to make this different. We might allude to things from that world, but we didn't want it to feel like, well, here's the opposite of an immigration story – we wanted a fresh take on what it means to be a criminal in this world of hyper-real Americana" Interview link 3D era and characters were awesome, but I fully support the HD reboot otherwise it would become another saints row, a franchise that started good until the creators ran out of ideas about what to do with the characters and decided to arm them with purple dildos to fight satan and the aliens. No one here would like to see GTA taking the same course. -
As interesting as that is, that's going down the Saints Row The Third road way too much... Not a fan at all. Cheers! I'd call it more 'Need for Speed: Rivals' or 'Hot Pursuit' since those games had some impossible cop cars!

How many of you actually solved the murder mystery?
Shadowfennekin replied to Jammsbro's topic in GTA V
I only solved it on my 100% save on my Xbox One Didn't do it on PC Also used GTA Series and I agree. Saints Row did collectibles right in 3/4/GOH -

The_B1u3_Jay replied to Jammsbro's topic in GTA V
I solved it with help from the GTASeriesVideos people. I dont wanna waste my time manually searching for the f*cking collectables. I already knew the reward before-hand and was dissapointed with it. Though none of these collectables have any good rewards though. Maybe the space-docker reward was cool... I just dislike collectables missions in general. I know the R* games social club has a collectables mab but I would've liked a collectables finder option in-game though. (like in the Saints Row The Third/Four) EDIT: Opps, wrong mystery. Ignore my post... -
Well, Volition DID work on a prequel to the third game called "Saints Row: Money Shot," where you play as some female Ultor assassin out to execute Dex with a rifle but the main part of the game is to control the bullet firing towards Dex. It was cancelled instead and we have an opportunity to haunt Dex in GOOH, which I find lame. He should have met his demise in SR:TT.

How come there are almost no references to TBoGT in V?

Maybe R* thought they would alienate some fans due to it. Volition did the same by not introducing Dex in Saints Row: The Third - a key character and a prime traitor to the protagonist.

I was never really into the Mafia series games, but I was hoping that Mafia III was going to be something special and big enough to attract my interest. To be honest it looks kinda weak from the trailers and screenshots. I wouldn't even compare it to GTA V.I reckon Mafia III will go down the same road as Watch Dogs. cars explode during collisions like wtf?? Least gta V cars didn't explode when you bailed out of a car and hit another car.I was so excited too. After mafia 2 I was ready but it looks like its going down the saints row route. Cars explode after every collision. Carttony animations boring setting

Isnt the series... a little too ehhmm... "funky"? Weird ? Over the top.. Isn't GTA V a little too funky? No not at all... GTA V has the perfect mix of humour and seriousness to me at least. Saints Row is just...yeah not funny at all but trying to be by doing the weirdest things.
-
Saints row is just stupid fantasy weirdo game. Might be the one of stupidest games ever. In my opinion. Its so corny. Who can seriously play that? Its like 6 years old kid made clone of GTA. Its just full retarded. Sorry.. It might have some cool things but its still so sh*t I will never play saints row.
-
Lol now you all talking about other games , why don't you stop posting for a while and come back here when theres some real news ? How did you end up talking about Mafia or Saints Row ? There will be a SP DLC , don't worry .
-
I think Saints Row 2 was the best one. But that's exactly why I put "was". The series started to suck after the third one.
