  2. Absolutely not. Many graphics and texture-related things were unfinished, even in RDR2's 3rd trailer, which came out just 6 months before its release. There were visible improvements from the gameplay trailers too. Keep in mind that the leaked stuff was not intended for us to see. There's still a hell of a lot more to do in the next couple of years. We haven't even seen one single official screenshot yet.

  7. Not really following all the discussion, but GTA V driving is too arcadey for my tastes. GTA IV every car was a boat, if they manage to find the sweet spot between those two games would be great methinks

  8. I can't bro. You are literally making me relive sad memories man. My bed gets wet every day and it's not cum or piss, but actual tears man. I turn into a soy boy whenever I remember the greats, greenrock, bebay123 and among others. I kinda wish we are in a discord group together no cap. Man, life is hard ... Every day I look at this picture and I imagine greenrock huge balls for starting such thread because mine will never be like his. Anyways, I ain't no bitch bruh and I'll continue as normal.

  10. You know a tiny fraction of it tho, tbf. Yes, we know the protagonists, parts of the map... but very small parts, and we know nothing else about the characters other than their appearance, or anything about the story, or any of the features, or 98% of the map lol

  11. younger people should at least give a chance gta san andreas (not defective edition) (ive seen some on the internet, even here, they avoid it due to graphics), that game was awesome. The forest and desert area were far from the cities and small towns it felt like you are alone, unlike in GTA V where everything is close to each other, too many buildings, cars everywhere even on the desert area. It had a better atmosphere. In GTA V the only places you could be away from everything were the few mountains left and right of the map but those again didn't have the atmosphere like san andreas. There should be an area in GTA VI, like islands or swamps whatever that I see no civilization at all, no big highways with cars, just creepy lonely places

  14. The discussion around this driving argument reminds me of the complaints about RDO slow-paced weapon & movement system. The community wasn't happy with how slow-paced the online component was. So Rockstar sped up the animations, but then posts about how Rockstar overdid it and how the old system was more unique and realistic started trending.

GTA VI Map Discussion - NO CONTENT ALLOWED

Over the past 10 hours or so it has just been discovered via several matches irl that Port Gellhorn is based on Panama City. Mostly all the locations featured in the leaks have been identified as real life clones with the exception of the motel with swimming pool, which based on leak coordinates is somewhere else anyway. Here is a map of that put together by Waffles Syrup with all found locations pinned. As this is a hurricane hotspot, many of the buildings have changed since 2015/16 when they scouted the area. So you might have to observe Google maps via that time period to see the visual match of some of these places. https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=180ajJ5vA9tDfFeWFUewfFoScd5RXdNk&ll=30.149116822892243%2C-85.65416450000001&z=14

The correct way to say Lucias name?

If we go with the Spanish pronunciation (since Lucia is most likely from a Spanish speaking country), then "Loo-see-a" or "Lew-see-a" would be correct. The C is pronounced like a light S, not a SH.

And they have to. When GTA V was first shown in 2011, it looked good, slightly better than GTA IV, albeit it just looked brighter and more vibrant. But social media, Twitter, in 2011 was nothing compared to today. If you show a game in the same state as GTA V was then, relevant to modern development, they'd get slaughtered. Can already see the comments already: "We waited 9/10 years for THIS!?" Just look at some of the reactions to the leaked gameplay. They can't avoid it, though. If people guess each and every day, then they'd never announce anything. We were pretty good at predicting when RDR2 PC would be announced, as well as the Trilogy Definitive Editions. Rockstar might want to surprise us. But not to the extent where they cancel their plans just to say "surprise, bet you didn't see that coming!" ...we've been waiting 9+ years. It aint gonna' be a surprise after this long.

New cities post-launch: how will it work?

Major games always tend to have some cut content. The content is cut because the budget, resources and other factors not being able to cover the development. Prior to GTAV's release, Rockstar was planning a Single-Player DLC with three episodes for each protagonist and the map is given a new look on each episode. One episode involved a Zombie Apocalypse to transform the map into a DayZ-alike environment as RDR1 Undead Nightmare gained popularity. At the same time, Liberty City as a map expansion was planned too. Both were scrapped as Rockstar shifted focus towards GTA Online. Prior to RDR2's release, Rockstar was planning a Mexico map expansion. Hence all the references to Nuevo Paraíso within the game files. In fact, you can access this region through exploits. Unfortunately, the map expansion was scrapped as Rockstar moved on to the next major project aka GTA6. The common factor is that Rockstar planned in advance for those map expansions. They didn't release GTAV and decided the next day to do a Single-player DLC. The same scenario is happening with GTA6 as we hear from several reports. So the first set of map expansions or new cities would have been planned prior to release. The game may have references or like a cut-off bridge hinting at a possible map expansion. Or like RDR2 where you visit the edge of a specific area and the soundtrack plays something in relation to a new city. As for the technical side, every recent GTA Online update featured "map additions" in technical terms. Rockstar added a few new additions for Cayo Perico to work. An Island Hopper meta file that loads the map placement files and unloads the base map among other things. So you could see having new buildings (new interiors) open up within the city on a similar scale to the various GTAO updates. What I could see Rockstar doing is allow us to explore a sectioned-off area of a city in South America during story missions. Then, come back to that city with a new DLC to explore the aftermath.

  28. All cars had different feeling, some drove like boats (just like real life! ) and the more sportier cars drove like... sports cars. In V even the bus drives like a Ferrari

  29. Give me the option to use turn signals and I'm fine with however the driving experience feels like. Also Rockstar, let the "Check Engine" light turn on from time to time and that alone would be hella realistic.

GTA 6 Speculation & Discussion [Part 7] - The one with the announcement

I mean there is another date in October (GTA VC anniversary, GTA VI's location...) that makes more sense than today considering after all it wasn't even the proper franchise anniversary, but again no one should be going in actually expecting something to happen. No need to get worked up about speculation, this rodeo of excitement, disappointment, wild speculation happens every pre-announcement/pre-release (you should've seen GTA V, topics got crazy like this every week!) and as much as it might be annoying for some, it's plenty of fun for others as we're all just a bunch of fans theorising on stuff or talking about stuff. Your reaction to "made-up" dates and speculation is fully up to you, and you shouldn't let posts from even someone like Tez phase you (because he won't know about stuff like that). Month's not over yet I suppose
