New final style alpha bus added to the OP

At this point, my most anticipated GTA Online update is the one that does away with all "Join a Public Session" for all businesses. Increase Public Session payouts by 25%, or decrease Closed Session payouts by 25% for all I care. That way Public is additional risk for additional reward. Anyone launching a mission in a Public Session is consenting to engage in PvP vs Rockstar forcing players into PvP if they want to access the new "solo" content. "Solo" shouldn't be 1 vs {1-29}. If I want PvP, I'll play the balanced PvP and even the "balanced" PvP modes any day over the unbalanced mess of Public Sessions.

Not completely sure where to put this, but it's a big enough deal that I'd rather it not get buried in B&M. Mods, do your thing. Anyway, after you do your initial Sec Contract & 1st Payphone Assassination in the oh-so-hated forced public, you can call Franklin directly to get more - even if you're in Invite Only. You can't access the Agency computer still, but all this means is you don't get to pick and choose which Sec Contract you take. Since the forced public is probably the number one complaint about this DLC, I thought it'd be good to get this out there before all the Invite-Only Grinders uninstall GTA and burn down R* HQ. Frankly, this saved the DLC for me. Edit: Thanks to @AirWolf359 for discovering that you can now access the Agency Network computer in an Invite Only Session, and therefore start VIP Contracts there. It appears to be a stealth patch and thus ends the "forced public" complaint. This is how it should've been all along.

This doesnt really make any sense tbh. If anything we know the opposite. GTA O is being separated from GTA V, its going to be its own separate product. Plus GTA O and GTA 6 will be pretty incompatible. GTA O is starting to show signs of age, models, textures, even gameplay is getting pretty outdated (compare it to rdr2 for example, a game which is 3 years old itself). GTA 6 on the other hand will be a completely new game likely made from scratch, in a much more recent iteration of the RAGE engine. IMO its more likely that GTA 6 will have its own online starting from scratch or will have no online and instead the current online will be continued as its own product (like elder scrolls online for example)

This thing is a work of art, really... Admittedly, sounds was disappointing. This thing is a helluva lot cooler with a Tyrus engine note. That interior though... I'm so impressed with it. Just gorgeous.

I finally finished all Dr Dre's contract missions and it was a great experience doing it. At least Franklin and Imani doesn't nag constantly at me, unlike those lousy (and terrible musician) modafo*ka and his horny gf.

Mmm, yeah. A Tuner garage full of handicapped, restricted hunks of pixels is exactly what I wanted out of this update. Having had them do this shows they know exactly what they've done and why. Could have removed this crap from the first update after SA SSS update. But have never done that, yet decide to now add it to even more carsm...whoever is responsible for this decision needs their peanuts introduced to a steel toe workboot. (Which I'll bet 100 to 1 says this person has no idea what a "steel toe" is. Let alone even a "workboot")...huge, vein-y biters. I've messaged support, which I expect f*ck all for results...got 1 stupid arsed bot reply almost immediately, "oh, unplug something for 30 seconds, plug it back it in and then clear your cache"...did you even bother to read what I said? Obviously not. Just copy and paste one word the algorithm recognized from my paragraph length explanation. Followed up by "yeah prolly just a glitch" response from sum grshfmmelt ughdjdkig in gods knows where, with less knowledge than I even possess about this game. Ugh!! I don't even want to buy into this new Contract sh*t. Purposefully broken ass, used to be completely fine, cars. Combined with the extra problems people are experiencing on their own...R* can take all of this update and stick it where the sun don't shine.

New DLC. Old problems part 2.

I liked the sian and the new buffalo, and of course, the freaking bikes! Specially the Shinobi. Finally sports bikes! But i think that the vehicle selection is one of the lesser good things that came to the game, if we toke them overall. It conquered me by the bikes, period. But 70% of the vehicle selection i wouldn't miss them. Too much f*cking vans for just an update. We have another youga even more strange than the last one...it looks like the youga had a kid with a tornado. There's the baller and the bentley that they basically added more 2 doors and called it a day. And the other van is also meh. The only one i would pick would be the cayenne. Sports cars didn't call me the attention so far. But the rest of the update so far is very cool. The hitman missions pay very well and makes you nostalgic of old pay phone missions of the 3D era gta's. The story is cool. Franklin (and Lamar) again on the game, and you can even play with them after the main story of this dlc, althought i'm still far away from that and only heard about it. And i think things are set for two things: Franklin at the beginning when he's doing the tutorial of the office's computer, he talks about other VIP jobs, like Rosalía. So i think it's quite expectable that we will have future VIP work. And when you do the gold mission of the Dr. Dre story, when you're with Franklin in the gold cart and you are passing by the solomun richards studio, Franklin gives us an easter egg of Michael: "i know a movie producer here, i hope he's in his day off today", which makes me believe that a Michael's DLC is on the horizon and this makes indeed End C the unquestionable canon ending of GTA V Single Player Story. And i'm digging this concept of incorporate our character with the single player characters. Speculation about the next dlc's with Michael and maybe why not Trevor also: Michael - vinewood bussiness: pr0n studios, you will be making normal movies bussiness as the front and pr0n movies as the ilegal one. Trevor: vanilla unicorn (since he's still the owner as far we know) with pimping DLC. P.S.: You can now buy the cars that appears in the auto shop for repairs. Note: I'm already imagining: Rosalía making a cameo?

Why the f*ck did R* have to go back to forced public session bs? Ever since the Cayo update the game's been literally unplayable in public sessions due to game breaking lag. Not to mention that I grew sick and f*cking tired of GTAO's forced PvP crap in 2016 already. Can't say I'm a fan of this update. Hip-hop, one car I like (and another decent), meh clothing again, silly new hairstyle, tired and samey gameplay/contracts, etc. On the upside, I do like the Agency and seeing a senior Chop is bittersweet, but since I just don't see any longevity in these contracts it still kind of loses any purpose to me. If R* is gonna stick to these music-themed updates I hope they do something with hard rock/metal. Do a Love Fist update or whatever. At least Dr. Dre is a step in the right direction from all the previous button-pushers.

I can't believe that the physical edition doesn't include any contents. Only the disc. I don't remember any Rockstar game that didn't come with a rich manual / poster / both. R* can put the blame on GSG regarding to the games, but no extra content on the physical edition? Shame on you R*...

Exactly. I use FPV quite frequently, I mean it is a feature so I'm gonna use it. But in addition I'm just not boring like that, I like cars to have interiors that fit with the theme of a car. Most of the time I prefer color as black is cliche and doesn't bring out the design that much at all. That said... I still tried to make something that works lol. The outside is fine. I think I love this spec on it. But really I'd never do a color like this with black interior. Saddle/tan or cream or maybe even brown/bordeaux would work so much better. My conclusion is there's no possible way I could possibly enjoy this car in GTA:O. Beyond the exterior color and tint, it also needed new handling because I'm sorry that handling was garbage, a pure wobbly mess. And still, it needs a hood ornament and a colorable interior period. You'll see in a couple of weeks or months how this thing really should've been.

So, what do y'all think about Franklin's portrayal in the DLC? Annoying and bad like Sessanta and KDJ, worse, or better? Personally, I liked him, he did have quite the upheaval since the 8 years we last saw him, moving up in society and what not. Unlike the Tuner NPCs, Franklin is realistically an 'equal' to the GTA Protagonist through the events of V (even though he downplays himself as just a manager and you being the owner), he doesn't talk you down and treat you like you're supposed to earn their respect despite being the investor. Hell, even Lamar is pretty chill even if he teases you about how far both you and Franklin have come. Definitely as good as Pavel, both join my bro club now.

There's literally no reason to force players to be in a Public Session. "Join public session to acess computer" Translation "Please play with people with ass internet connection, the will to cheat and ruin your gamepay because we at Rockstar sold our brains."

To me the downside is the slantback-only hardtop options. Wish there was a choice for a wagonback look as well (the options for the bed should had been merged with the roof options so they could support a longer rack to cover the wagonback extension). But I can't really complain. The fact that this Patriot is official is already a big win.

In an invite-only session it doesn't let you on the computer to start contracts but if you call Franklin you can start them... Rockstar Logic...

Actually, it's because of licensing shenanigans, lemme explain. You guys remember Guitar Hero and Rock Band? Both games were usually rated T, so this means that, while strong profanity was obviously censored (either by removing the offended lyric from the vocal track or using a radio edit), mild profanities like "ass" or "goddamn" were more inconsistently censored, mostly because Activision/Harmonix were pretty much left at the whim of whatever the record companies sent them. You had, for example, the chorus of "This Ain't a Scene, it's a Goddamn Arms Race" censored in spite of being literally part of the song title but the "god given ass" lyric from "Ziggy Stardust" was left untouched. Methinks what may had happened is that R* only got radio edits from the songs they licensed and they had to make do with those, but that's just a theory, a Game Theory ™

DLC ruined by over powered npc's, having to be in a public lobby, ugly ass clothing, 1 ugly ass hair style, old and new game bugs. Thanks R*, you guys are really helping me re-think ever buying something from your crappy ass company.

Well I did one mission, this is what I bought the agency for? Man, we are MC presidents with multiple factories, arms dealers, import/export of illicit goods, import/export of cars, nightclub owners, casino saviors, hell we have even saved the whole world and before I forget pulled off multiple heists. You see some dude with a yee-yee ass haircut telling you he needs to hook up some vip clients but before that you gotta do some dumb lowlife work. Whats next, visiting Michael in the retirement home to change his diapers for a month before he lets us in on a secret lead about the stock market? The cars we got (only 7) for now all got a fine selection of 3 interiors for as far as I have noticed, including even the gen1 mercedes interior. Way to go rockstar, you should get nominated for the NWRA Recycling Awards because you guys are the true kings of recycling old trash. Sure we got a pair of interesting dripfeed cars on the way, but I'm quite sure Rockstar will not fail to disappoint (because they are on a streak now). The Lampadati Cinquemila has a hood that doesnt even fit properly, you can partially see the engine if the hood is closed. The tuners vehicles have been turned to walmart go-karts. The new "haircut" is a true abomination, the creator and the one who checked product quality should be fired on the spot. Literally the only thing good about this dlc is that Chop the dog is back, and doing fine for his age. Might come back to check the dripfeed but I am done with this load of crap for now.
