Well, RDO isn't getting a update this month. Now to await the announcement of GTA Online next update.

That could be the case, but I believe there's more to that. I think it's more odd that RDR2 qabeta updates stopped since October. Before the trilogy launch. RDO's prioritization likely shifted to GTAV E&E (this likely having higher priority than Trilogy), GTA Trilogy and a bit to GTAO update.

I agree with you, but I should also add that RDO failed simply because RDR is NOT a good game that you can create an online environment geared towards microtransactions and cancerous PvP gameplay like GTAO is. RDR games are slow-paced, story driven, with beautiful worlds rich with details, secrets and that rewards players that are willing to explore them taking it slow and appreciating all the hard work and details that the developers have poured into the game...You are not supposed to rush through these worlds sprinting with your maxed out horses while being constantly on the lookout for griefers sniffing about...You do that on GTA because it's ambiance fits that, as the game world is geared towards players navigating fast around and through it with fast cars, bikes and aircrafts(GTA worlds do have details, but it's mostly superficial when compared to RDR worlds). And then there's the fact that the playerbase is wildly different, there are no jets, tanks, flying bikes, fancy supercars, yatchs, golden airplanes and other expensive futuristic crap to exploit players with, it's a game limited by it's time period and as such it can't have such things or otherwise the very limited playerbase will just finish ditching this game for good. RDR is the kind of game that would benefit greatly and warrants Story DLC expansions, for the single players that wants to immerse themselves further in the world without having to deal with the typical nonsense of an online environment. Also, Guarma and Mexico are still there on the game files, sitting unused for over 3 years featuring some basic details and collision physics, the areas are literally imploring to be finished up. It's a no wonder why RDO would simply die out, it was fated to fail right from the beggining and if RDR3 ever happens(I doubt it) then I hope they take the f*cking hint and stop this online nonsense for games that don't really suits it.

Now is the time, more than ever, for R* to ditch the idea they can keep going with the 2000's bi-annual appearance in monthly gaming magazines style of communication on their own website & socials when it comes to their live service titles. I feel like this thing was delayed tbh. Maybe the delay rumours related to the trilogy applied to RDO and not GTAO as I imagine GTAO would be almost finished by then. We'll see what happens in January, it's a pretty long bonus month, I think they're trying to avoid the actual holidays too as R* likely won't be working for much of the 2nd half of December. I can't imagine them just dropping the game, honestly, so we'll see in January - it's just too weird. GTAO, they though it was dead in 2014 (they said this in an interview) then more bigger updates started coming out. Best case scenario is either the update is delayed or they're rethinking RDO's update strategy, worst case scenario is it's dropped but I can't see that tbh. Here's hoping.

I want them to add the only Mercedes that is still missing IMO. Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 Evolution II (1990), they could also add the 80's version i wouldn't mind. I like them both, but yeah it's still missing in the game.

It's not a problem about how long takes to add space, bcz in very few dlc's R* didn't gave more garage space. The problem is the standard 10 slots per update, while the standard number of new vehicles are 17-20.

Well not quite as easily as games industry positions are sometimes very hard to fill. I believe dev teams juggle between DLC projects, there aren't specific fixed teams for GTAO and RDO, that on top of people working on E&E, GTA VI and what not so... It's a shame RDO seems to have been deprioritised but maybe @Tez2 is on to something with this being related to E&E releasing in Nov originally before being delayed. Waiting for January before fully judging what's happening with RDO.

From a statistics-based perspective, Call to Arms modes gained a ton of activity within a short time. Became a fan favorite too. That's why the focus is shifting to new Call to Arms maps than more Telegram missions. (In case, you're curious about the statistics, it was observed by @alloc8or, can't say much other than that) GTAV E&E releasing March 2022 isn't a good sign for RDO either. If Rockstar didn't delay E&E, it would have launched alongside GTA Trilogy. Rockstar would have likely considered that before the release of Blood Money update and decided to deprioritize RDO. Now, I can't see Rockstar revisiting this game before GTAV E&E launch.

Had not complained if we got a new heist in the new update. As Christmas is getting closer, a heist in North Yankton would be perfect. It is the exact opposite of Cayo Perico where we had a warm and tropical climate. Had not been wrong but I think there is very little chance that it will happen. But it gives us the opportunity to get int touch with Michael again.

GTA Online "modders" shouldn't be called "modders", they are just cheaters and script kiddies at best. I've seen some people claiming they hate all modders no matter the game they mod due to their experiences in GTA Online when, in reality, modders can be really awesome. Just take a look at Garry's Mod (the game itself is a mod lmao), Skyrim or even more obscure, forgotten gems like Silent Hunter 3 and its Grey Wolves mod. Mods can keep a game alive for much, much longer than the developers originally thought it would be. If people using wallhack and aimbot in shooters are cheaters, then GTA Online """modders""" are cheaters too. Stop giving them so much credit.

Idk, I tend to disagree with the opinion that Red Dead Redemption isn't fit for a live service online environment. The issue is that they tried to copy their success of GTA Online, which doesn't work in a RDR setting. With even worse nickel and diming with every update and change made to the game (charging 50 something gold bars for one outfit, daily challenge nerfs). Where it also went wrong, the developers failed to acknowledge what the community wanted. For years, the community wanted nothing but an outlaw update. To be able to rob banks with our friends, rob stagecoaches for profits, rob stores, etc. They were waiting for a "Heists Update" equivalent for Red Dead Online. Something that makes the players feel like badass outlaws. But it never came to fruition. Players have wanted purchasable properties for years, didn't happen. Just more of the same until eventually the updates were even less of the same thing we've already gotten before. To this day it feels like an unfinished game that they've just added updates to in hopes to get as much money out of players until they quit, and that's it. There's no big end game purchases you can make. Just the roles, absurdly expensive clothing, and reskinned horses with a different look, that's all.

Modders that make completely new content for GTA and people who play GTA online with modded accounts to make the lives of players worse are completely different. The first type provide an amazing quality service to the GTA community, which Rockstar themselves take inspiration from a lot of the time (while also treating them like garbage but that's another conversation). The second type are miserable and insecure losers who have seemingly have nothing better to do with their lives

Red Dead Online failed because they thought that they'd actually get away with being greedy f*cking cows right out the door instead of waiting patiently until the players poured in like they did with GTA Online. Secondary currency that's difficult to obtain without paying? Things that cost only this premium currency? If I didn't know any better, I'd think Red Dead Online was a Clash ripoff. It's f*cking embarrassing to even be seen playing it.

Why the hell would Rockstar be so quick to patch a harmless little exploit in Space Monkey 3 over a couple of measly shirts, and an award, while at the same time breaking Wizard Ruin, and Shiny Wasabi. Not to mention leaving God Mode glitches in place, etc. Rant 2, Why the hell are Pursuit Races 4 Player minimum when all the other races are either 1, or 2 player min. Sometimes me, and a buddy just want to go 1 v1 against the cops, but this 4 player bs ruins that.

Unsurprisingly Rockstar doesn't even address the lack of dlc in newswire article. They sure as hell know that players expect a dlc in summer and winter each year and yet they chose to be silent. They ignored that and haven't talked about the game's future (or lack thereof) in ages. I feel like this is the final nail in the coffin. The game's future is at best a few telegram missions released once in a blue moon so that it looks like the game has some sort of support. To be honest, I would respect Rockstar if they just flat out said they will be scaling down RDO updates (which they have been doing for ages already) or flat out dropping the support altogether. Their lack of communication may work in pre-release hype of upcoming titles, but as a strategy when supporting on-going online titles it's sh*t.

They should also do car packs each month like @KennyB66 stated in the Vehicle wishlist topic, they can do months such as German car month and etc. To basically compete with the likes of Forza. R* should also do weapons packs each month as well. Since every time the dripfeed is done, the game just gets dry very quickly.

Please explain this to me: It's a huge company. Don't they have AT LEAST have different teams to work on projects simultaneously? Its infuriating to say the least if they really pulled devs from the online team just to fix the trilogy. I mean Jesus Christ they are a billion dollar company!

Again there have been other bigger December updates and they were announced a week prior, even Diamond Casino Heist. Cayo spoiled us with the early announcement, assumingly because they wanted to tease the new island

I'm all for it just as long as it doesn't drive like crap.
