Vehicle modding is a thing already and I'm happy to start with my favorite car! To make this clear for people interested, on San Andreas at least YOU DON'T NEED SOCKETS! You can simply use bones and name those bones with the same names as the sockets, you can find the correct names if you open the original vehicle skeleton with FModel. Of course, every bone must be rigged to a vehicle part, if a part of the vehicle is static, then you rig it to "chassis" bone, if you need to rig the damaged version of the front left door, then you rig it to "door_lf_dam" bone, etc. The rest of the process is very similar to peds and weapons, I'd advise to read mixmods tutorials about custom textures and custom materials before even attempting to try to mod a vehicle.

Rockstar was working with a relatively new engine at the time and wasn't quite sure how implement some of the SA features onto the new engine. It wasn't until they did further tweaks to the engine (GTAV) that they were able to implement a few of those features back. Planes and car tuning being two examples of those features. To call GTA4 shallow because it lacked SA features is rather absurd when you look at it from a game designer perspective.

V-Hud: Hey, have you ever wondered what does an 8 year old user interface look like nowadays on a completely different platform? No? Well, too late, here it is. V-Hud is a work-in-progress user interface overhaul, for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, based on Grand Theft Auto: V. Project has been made in order to replicate accurately most of the UI elements present in GTA:V. The project name doesn't really match the features it has, that's because it was initially an attempt to reverse code from GTA5HUD by DK22Pac, in fact it was released a long time ago, but sadly source code was never been made public, so many thanks to @DK22Pac for allowing me to use some resources and some code. Compatibility: Currently compatible only with GTA: San Andreas 1.0 US - (both Compact and HOODLUM exes have been tested). Compatibility with III and VC is planned in the near future. You know what, I actually do miss the mini festive updates from the 360/PS3 era. Where we had purchasable content alongside new game modes like themed clothing, tattoos, haircuts, masks, liveries, weapons and vehicles. Sprinkle them in with the two major updates per year and it will keep the community engaged. If I recall R* did mention they would focus on these events a few years back, but aside from new game modes / free mode events we never really had a proper update. So many festive events celebrated in the US they've missed like: Easter, St Paddy's Day, Thanksgiving, Cinco de Mayo, Lunar New Year, Veteran's Day etc They could make up some of their own, in universe ones! Literally add some themed items to purchase like most live service/mobile games. Instead of meme vehicles, have a normal vehicle with a unique festive variant changed via a livery like the Vapid Clique with the bow.

As long as it's not actually delayed, I do hope we get a teaser soon

I truly hate everything they've done in this game that involves flying. You're not able to move the camera anymore. Up/down doesn't work at all, right/left only rotates about 80° and then instantly snaps back. The radar is worth sh*t when you're flying because you have no idea where you are. This would be less of a problem if you could actually look down and see the spot you're landing at, but you can't do that anymore. The jetpack is a pain in the neck to fly now. Pushing the stick forward makes it go forward and to the right. To actually go forward, you have to fly slightly sideways. Then they added this completely unnecessary and constant rumbling to the controller. It was annoying enough just doing green goo, there's no way I'm taking that thing to collect 50 horseshoes. Nothing, absolutely nothing about the flying controls (plane, helicopter or jetpack) needed any "improvement". They could have just left them as they were and it would have been perfect. Edit: I realized today that it's because of the "Modern alt" controls I'm using. Well, partially. In vehicles, the shoulder buttons are for left/right, X for handbrake and B for shooting. In the regular "modern" layout, they're switched, so X and B for left/right, shoulder buttons for shooting/handbrake. However, they didn't switch those controls for the jetpack. In the jetpack, the shoulder buttons are always for ascending/descending. In regular modern, X and B move you left/right, in modern alt, the shoulder buttons move you left/right while also moving you up/down. In short - they managed to double bind the shoulder buttons for the modern alt layout, making the jetpack unnecessarily difficult to fly. Switching to modern to collect horseshoes is a temporary solution, but I don't want to switch controller layouts every time I fly the jetpack. Fix that sh*t, GSG.

After years of trying to finish the Jester, I have now finally made a breakthrough and the passed the hardest part: Optimizing Northwind´s tuning parts without any help.

I really hope that the new "business" can fit at least 30 new garage slots , same level as Office garage Will be Nice...this bullcrap of 10 slots per update must ve stopped... Maybe tomorrow they tease rdo update (i wish You the Best fellers, but does not look good) and then on thursday or friday they might tease gtao, i just hope that the next event week,wich might last more, they don't put motor wars 3x

If you take your time to read again and this time pay a little bit of attention to the coment you quoted, you will see that I was referencing the location of Cayo Perico, not the entire update itself. Also excluding the heist itself, since it is the best money maker in the game, the rest of the update was weak as hell and I had much more fun with the two casino themed updates as a whole, but that is subjective and besides the point.

That's the one time I wouldn't be mad if a company (T2/Rockstar) had trademarked a name like this. I hate how they have that title as a game studio when their actual work is of very questionable quality. Well, at least nobody will forget the disaster that this launch was. With all the strings attached to that "Grove Street Games" name. Maybe this time they'll be more honest and rename to "Piggybacking on other's success Games".

I think it's a rockstar master play, they launch this garbage so people lose hope in gta 6 and keep playing gta online and buying shark cards

I won't be surprised if they will go that way, I see GTA as a series, that is maturing with each installment. We have so many silly games but we don't have many with really well fleshed out world. To be honest it could be necessary step to push this series forward.

Min/Max'ers are some of the worst people in gaming. When gaming is more about the numbers instead of having fun you need to take a hard look at your life. The same kind of people that abuse and harass people in games like WoW and Destiny if they don't know exactly what to do at the exact moment or don't have the "correct build". These are the kind of toxic people you need to cut out of your gaming life.

10 people in the session I was killed by mk2 while driving to the casino returning to the arcade, a second time by the other person WTF

Damn this game has become so stale, I don't even have anything to complain about. For now...

Ohhhhh I have one, although it was an 1-0 but still. So there was this guy who used to be in the same grinding crew I am who was a complete hypocrite, he was pro-griefing while enjoying the safety of our lobbies, something that annoyed me greatly and I called him out about it many times before, not to mention that he was an R* fanboy who couldn't handle any GTAO criticism at all, which also led to several fights with him too. Unsurprisingly, he eventually left the crew after grinding enough cash to become a full time griefer, while also becoming a notorious troll in r/gtaonline too. Eventually, he associates himself with an infamous griefer YouTuber (not mentioning who to not give him any more attention) and alongside several other no life griefers start raiding our sessions with godmode jets and the typical cringe tryhard stuff. Then, in one of these raids, this guy enters my Arcade to taunt me, I manage to kick him out of him and I wait for an opportunity to give him a taste of his own medicine: I also posted it on the subreddit to expose him as the clown that he is (this was before the mods banned these kinds of posts because mUh hArAsSmEnT), all while he was coping and seething in the comments: Needless to say, he eventually stopped posting altogether after I single handedly destroyed his whole carreer. I actually turned that screenshot into my PSN banner for a while just to rub it into his face even more. Good times.

Rockstar with a BIG announcement at The Game Awards... Where have I heard this before...

Brb I'm in HUGE & INTENSE shock after seeing this and constantly face-palming myself.... *Late edit*: War Drum Studios should've just renamed themselves Rollin' Heights Games instead of Grove Street Games since they've done nothing good with this DE) and SA 2014). How dare they take Grove Street as a name when they are clearly shaming the h€ll out of San Andreas

Believe me, that could have been one of the lamest decisions ever put by R*. Vice City was already too much of a reference to Scarface, so putting the exact same soundtrack made for that movie into the game would have been way too much, it would have made the game feel rather like a videogame version of it, or even a parody, rather than its own thing, like the game proved to be when it added its own selection of songs.
