@alloc8or found out new structs that were added with the recent update relating to the standalone version and one of them is "rage::fwuiMessageBase", which is from RDR2's RAGE version, so that seems to go along what @Spider-Vice & @uNi stated, that the enhanced edition is likely to utilize RDR2's RAGE version. However, it could just be that the UI would utilize RDR2's base code, while the rest remains the same. The rest of the new structs are listed here: The interesting one is "CHasCharacterToTransferDecisionPage" that seems to confirm character transfers will be available once the enhanced edition eventually releases.

Plenty. GTA is the one series I love, that I still feel I have left. Mass Effect, Fallout, Halo have all declined in recent years. GTA hasn't. But that's mostly because there hasn't been one to even let me down. And no, GTA Online doesn't count lol Hitman 3 in a couple of weeks is going to be great! Anyone who hasn't played Hitman 1 or 2 is missing out! And each game carries over into the sequel. So if you buy Hitman 3, you can play all of Hitman 1 & 2 in the updated game engine. Basically one big game. Albeit you probably have to pay a little extra to unlock it. Which is fair. Horizon Forbidden West and God of War Ragnarok are scheduled for 2021. But I don't believe there any chance they aren't delayed into 2022. Mass Effect Legendary Edition is something I'm really looking forward too, also. Put countless hours into those games, back in the day. So good! Far Cry 6 looks good. Although we haven't seen much. But the series is always good fun, for a while. Honestly, there are many, many games to keep you busy while waiting for GTA VI. Best advice is to enjoy other games while you can/. Don't miss out on some great games, while you're waiting for the one you want.

I'm sorry for the delay in replying to this. I have barely been on the forum's at all, or even had the console turned on. I work at the local hospital here in Belfast, and with Covid19 skyrocketing, I am working very long hours, and all over the place. I will try and get a look over the weekend and draft up the OP with easier tips and tricks to reference.

this section of gtaf would implode on itself, youtube would break, the amount of videos MrBossFTW would try to upload in mere seconds after release would cause YT to permanently break, chaos would ensue in the streets because it would take jesus christ himself to appear for rockstar to drop gta6 out of no where.

Major engine changes, especially graphics, etc. they don't necessarily need to make mechanics changes to be like RDR2, but it's waaay better, better looking, more optimised (but more apt for modern machines...) etc.

And can we talk about, as I put it in another thread, Nimbus in the streets, Velum in the sheets. f*ck this plane. f*ck how sh*t it is. f*ck the single propellor engine. f*ck the fact I own infinite Miljets, or Nimbii, or whatever. But mostly f*ck using it at all, for anything, ever, after the PB heist. And it's in 2 f*cking setups! Including the mandatory long-ass scoping one! f*ck you, Rockstar. You use the Nimbus for everything you want to look pretty and stuff my multimillionaire ass in a flying f*cking Ford Focus. And f*ck the Velum. (written while a rubber band and occasional f*cking pitch corrections flew me from Paleto Bay to an arbitrary location at the southern edge of the map)

The worst instances are when the game takes control away from you like when you’re forced into a walk or you can’t use weapons. I can tolerate not all missions needing to be open ended or even being scripted to a point, but that’s just scummy IMO and sometimes it’s worse than GTA V which was already pretty bad in this regard. I miss the days when it was possible to only fail missions for something reasonable like a target getting away or other similar fail states. Not just from deviating ever so slightly and trying something other than the tight mission restraints allow. It makes me worried for GTA VI. It’s only a matter of time before QTEs replace entire sections where 100% control was allowed in the past. That scares the sh*t out of me.

My 13 year old nephew has recently been deemed mature enough to play GTA V and just got past Trevor's first appearance/missions. He hates him, he's his least favourite of the protagonists and he didn't enjoy his missions. Thought you might be pleased to know this lol.

Only 6 days into the new year and crazy sh*t like this is happening, It'll probably be a repeat of today on the 20th, or even worse possibly.

I'm basically no-life-ing through the night to bring updates with sources ASAP (from CNN because easy, if not, I'll search until I get my source from a reputable source). I want to bring facts and updates to everyone. Here, and to my friends on Discord. Old post, but I have to disagree with this. Part of Dimitri's charm (if you can call that) is he's meant to be a cowardly snake. I'm pretty sure if Niko saw him at the first opportunity after the betrayal he would've met a premature end. The taunting phonecalls are more up his alley IMO because he's a manipulator and he doesn't have the balls to face Niko for his sins just like when he screwed over Faustin and basically everyone he's ever betrayed. Having him show up sporadically would've been silly to me because unlike the way CJ gets pushed around by Tenpenny, Niko was hell bent on putting Dimitri in the ground. If he showed up more often it wouldn't have made the final encounter anywhere near as satisfying and fulfilling. I guess Tenpenny's different because he is a corrupt cop after all who uses his power to exert intimidation so it makes sense he would show up every now and then to remind CJ he's not to be f*cked with. Dimitri on the other hand is just a very different type of antagonist. Whether he's good, bad, weak etc is up to the individual I suppose, but I'm glad R* don't just copy and paste traits in their antagonists in different games. Dimitri works for the type of story GTA IV has as Tenpenny works for San Andreas.
