1. Buzzard - 102 2. Akula - 71 (-2) 3. Snacks - 98 (+1) Oh man ... Snacks and Buzzard are the OG options since Heists and CEO/VIP updates, Akula helps in FR sessions, missions, trolling and even on tryhard hunts, but Snacks and Buzzard saved my ass in those years that makes almost all other options irrelevant: - Terrorbyte missions are good for farming, but still time consuming. - Atomized is a savior of bugged sessions or silly mistakes while selling, but the range/recharge can't save everything concerning really bad mistakes or against multiple tryhards or even Terminator NPC's. - Heavy Sniper MK2 is a good anti-air/anti-personnel tool which downside is the lower armor count if using specialized ammo for a long time/fights. - Armored Kuruma still one of the best OG options to use around in FR missions where we need to eliminate enemies on vehicles which can be destroyed and fails the mission or ... to counter ground terminator NPC's on Heist preps but can be countered by missiles/FMJ weapons around. - Custom Insurgent is a old OG option which is only useful with another player as a gunner ... aside this ... maybe as a personal missile tank, but Nightshark is a faster and more agile option which a good driver can make a tryhard on Broomstick MK2 run out of rockets while the Insurgent can't. - Broomsticks ... both MK1 and MK2 have their flaws and can be countered ... but even with that ... they are enough to be powerhouses, but after the nerf ... the Buzzard once again a proper option to farm around.10 points -

My guess is that Expanded and Enhanced will allow them to continue developing for the franchise's future, and not with the archaic code that exists now. GTA Online will hopefully get some much needed improvements to the backbone in terms of networking, as well as much needed balancing and bug fixing with many of the vehicles in the game. When GTA 6 releases it may be on a newer version of the engine, however it will have been made with Expanded and Enhanced in mind, and the map will be ported to GTA Online in order to continue the lifecycle. Kind of like how Warzone in COD has content from 2 different games and versions of the game engine. Its highly unlikely they will leave behind 7+ years of content just to start fresh with another GTA Online. That's like running an extremely successful business and then one day deciding to shut down production to start another business. The framework of GTA Online is already set to make them tons of money for years ahead with how is set up. I cant see them ditching it for a new online that may or may not be as successful as the current one in terms of profits. But thats just my opinion.10 points -

I hope we get a March filler, they always bring a few long requested cars to make up for lack of actual content. GP1, Turismo and Infernus Classics, GB200. Even though Summer Special wasn't a spring DLC (duh), it still acted as a filler update and included a bunch of stuff we've been asking for like the D10, Gauntlet CC, Golf, and Penumbra FF (Classic). If they got more generous with the vehicle roster of all updates, they could pad this hypothetical Kart racing filler DLC with some epic gems. There is no end to list of cars we've been asking for, the limit lays with what R* is willing to add. Look at how poorly the lack of cars in CPH went over not just here but everywhere else online. If they just added an extra 4-5 more vehicles per update and chose some holdouts from the wishlist (Comet Classic, ZR350, Dominator Classic) it would go a long, long way in the eyes of the fanbase.7 points -

Maybe. I was just playing it the other day and the atmosphere is still f*cking awesome, The radio is better than GTA V, Not to mention Billie jean playing the first time we drive the car, it's just purely magical and makes me feel nostalgic for a decade I don't have the chance to experience. This is why it should be in the 80s, immerse yourself in a magical era instead of a real life simulator set in boring modern times that I can experience by walking outside lmao.7 points -

This thread will be similar to my grandtheftauto6.net thread where I dive into the history as much as I can and give you my own thoughts about it. If you can't be bothered to read the entire thread I will have my conclusion at the bottom. Let's dive in. My grandtheftauto6.net thread. Yan2295 Tweet Jason Schreier Tweet Inside Gaming Project Americas Video Tez2 on Bully 2 u/JackOLantern82 u/JackOLantern1982 LegacyKillaHD First Leak Recent Leak Removeddit of the OP "JackOLantern1982" is/was a reddit user who claims to have two "very reliable" friends who worked at Kotaku and PC Gamer. This is where they claim to get their information from, with a friend who works at Rockstar confirming/denying it. Their first leak occurred on July 7th, 2019, soon after being deleted along with the reddit account. The reasoning for the thread I am writing now is due to a new "leak" being posted by u/JackOLantern82 claiming it as a continuation of the first one. The reddit user(s) behind the two threads that have been posted go into a lot of detail with long lists of bullet points about GTAVI. A lot of these details are details that could easily be made up by any user with the idea of GTAVI being in Vice City in the '80s in mind. Below I'm going to list some major points that I want to talk about, if you want to see the full list of both threads go to the sources section. They want to have an incredible 70s/80s soundtrack, but jury is still out on that one. You can only have weapons on your person. No arsenal in your back pocket. Think RDR2 and Max Payne 3. Next Gen only. Not PS4/XB1. Game is still in Pre-Alpha so names, locations, details could and probably will change. No ETA on a release date. Game is now their primary focus, alongside another title (which I believe to be Bully 2) Point 1 | If the game has been in pre-development since 2012 and picked up after 2015 most of the soundtrack would have been chosen by now, the only thing I can see the "jury being out" on is the theme for the trailer. Point 2 | In a point before this one in the first list of leaks they claim the game will balance realism and arcade but will not be realistic like RDR2. The arsenal in your back pocket has been a pretty big thing and GTA fans have come to expect this. I don't see R* steering off of this path. Point 3 | Take Two will want to make as much money off of GTAVI as possible. If we expect a 2023/2024 release many people will most likely still be playing on the PS4/XB1 as a lot of people still used the PS3/XB360 some years after next gen came out. They will most likely have a toned down version of the game for last gen consoles on release, if they don't they will most likely lose millions. Point 4 | I do not believe the game was in pre-alpha at the time of the first leak if pre-production began in 2012 and picked up in 2015. This point was most likely written so when the trailer came out and proved a lot of the leaker's points wrong they could just refer to this point. Point 5 | The first leak was posted mid-2019 so this was before we even knew about COVID-19. I'd imagine there would be some sort of general ETA on a release date for the game by then, but most likely was affected by COVID-19. Point 6 | The list talks about Bully 2 being produced alongside GTAVI which we now know was cancelled all the way back in 2017. Now let's look at the 2019 list of leaks and compare it to Cayo Perico. ZacCoxTV pointed out this point below in a post he made: A younger Martin Madrazo will make an appearance as will his father who is a big drug lord at the time. You do some missions for the Madrazo family involving hits on other gangs. ZacCoxTV points to us doing a heist for Madrazo's son in Cayo Perico and trying to use this to claim that the list might actually be real, but this is a pretty big stretch. Another point from the list that was kind of brought up in Cayo Perico is this one: HEAVILY inspired by Netflix's Narcos Cayo Perico and El Rubio are both based on Narcos. El Rubio's character is based off of Carlos Lehder and the island is a combination of the one Carlos Lehder owned in the bahamas and the compound is based on one of Pablo Escobar's houses. I still don't believe this gives the list any credibility and was a coincidence. Both lists were posted on two different reddit accounts. The first original leak was posted by u/JackOLantern1982 and then deleted along with the reddit account. The most recent one was posted by u/JackOLantern82 who joined on January 4th, 2021. I really believe these are two different people, both trolling. The two posts are very different, u/JackOLantern1982 going into how they got the information. The original poster of the first list also has far better grammar than the newest one. If you read through the list by u/JackOLantern82 they make a lot of grammatical mistakes while u/JackOLantern1982 didn't make those same mistakes. LegacyKillaHD cited a comment on the original list's thread that said the leaker's friend at Rockstar, was Jack Swanley. This is a fake Rockstar employee that has been exposed by multiple people, going as far as to contact the recruitment department at R* who confirmed they were not a real person. Remember how the original poster claimed that one of their friends who had given them the information worked at Kotaku? Well Jason Schreier, who used to work for Kotaku, himself tweeted out that this list was obviously fake. Yan2295, a former R* insider, also commented on the huge list of "leaks" with a tweet. So this is the second really credible person to call this an obvious fake. This is a troll that's been trolling the Rockstar community and possibly other gaming communities for a while. If the person behind JackOLantern1982 is the same person that faked the Jack Swanley facebook and linkedin profiles then they've been at this for 6+ years now. These two lists of "leaks" are about as credible as me saying my name is Dan Houser. They most likely saw the Inside Gaming video about the Project Americas leak and wrote this list, it's fan fiction.7 points -

Porting V over to the more updated RDR2's version of RAGE makes the most sense as R* wants to keep GTAO going. I think people are missing that most importantly the V map/assets are being ported over/improved for Online, us having V E&E is just a product of that, not the other way around.6 points -

I know I'm quite late to the party but I just wanted to give my 2 cents on the topic. So, so far we can all agree that Rockstar has 2 main options to go about this. OPTION 1: the Expanded and Enhanced version is merely a next gen port. Regardless of whether or not we'll get new content for the game, new DLC cars on the roads, potentially even SP DLC etc., the engine will remain the same, the framework of the game won't change and we will have a similar situation to what we had in 2014 when GTA V got ported over to the then next gen consoles PS4 and Xbox One. At this point the PC version probably stays intact/gets an update to match the E&E version's content updates. At this point we'll have around 2 years of additional Online updates to the next gen consoles and PC, while we wait for GTA VI. GTA VI will have its own online and the journey will start again on a brand new game, with brand new engine and graphics and countless new possibilities and creative liberties for the developers that the current version of V just limits, as we've had the chance to see for ourselves. OPTION 2: The E&E version will be a separate version of V and Online, also coming to PC, which will modify this old engine to allow for bigger and better updates. Obviously Rockstar wouldn't work this much just for a couple of years of DLCs and then abandon the project, but we will see our Online journey continue on, even after GTA VI comes out. Now, my main objection with Option 2 is this: why exactly should Rockstar dedicate so much time, effort and resources to update this soon-to-be 8-year-old game's very roots, which - though I'm quite ignorant about game development - I think is not an easy task, arguably it's even harder than making a new game from the ground up, since you have to account with so many things given the absolute massive amount of content and features this game has, which intertwine a lot? Why should they do that, when they can just take GTA 6 - which will release either way, because neither you or Piro have any doubts about this - and make an Online version of that? In my opinion, for Rockstar to opt for option 2 would mean to complicate their lives by an absurd amount when the easier (and in my opinion) obvious option is just around the corner. Literally the only downside for this would be players inevitably losing their progress when they migrate for V to VI, but I bet that Rockstar will make that change absolutely and undoubtedly worth it.5 points -

It is faster than Buzzard and you can spam rockets, but you can have 3 all at the time if you ever need one, i feel like it takes longer to scroll down to the Sparrow in the interaction menu, you need to return it to the Kosatka, armor is weaker and Sparrow dies faster, plust lets not forget that not only you have to buy it for 1.8 mil, you have to buy the Kosatka in the first place and and then even buy the rockets... Like I like the Sparrow, it is useful, especially during the grind of Cayo Perico, but it will never be a true replacement of the Buzzard for me...5 points -

VI set in the 80s would still feel fresh just because Rockstar this time would include a much large area than Miami + quite possibly a part of South America as well, if we are to believe Project Americas. That alone would make the game feel nothing like the original VC. It wouldn't just be much larger map, but also substantially different. It would be quite silly to expect the same concept of a game they made 20 years ago. If VC returns, it will be with a unique twist, and Project Americas sounds unique enough to justify coming back to VC.5 points -

I think some people here never played Vice City... Because the plot of the game is pretty basic, and only explore many of its themes in the surface, so I doubt a new gta in the 80's miami would feel repetitive, it has many themes to explore. And people are really questioning the ability of Rockstar,(whose President, and many top-tier developers are old enough to having grown up in the 80's and knowing, pretty much everything from that era) in making a interesting and good 80's Vice City again that does not feel repetitive or "done to death"5 points -

This is basically the current map with LC and VC a bit lower/higher. I personally don't think it worth do this way. It seems too far, the idea of a giant road in the middle of ocean looks weird to me, even with landmasses on the way. My current position is 1000 meters, which is far, but not that far. SF bridge length is only 300 meters less than this. So it doesn't seems that weird to me. In my opinion any distance above 1000 meters is way too much. The moving maps process is more complicated than I tought. I tought that we would be able to create dozens of versions of this mod, but I was wrong. My version will probably will be the only alternative available. The main problem that people had with the cities being close is that would be possible to see that they are way too close. I aleardy solved that positioning them 1000 metters from each other, transpassing the draw distance limit of 800 meters. LC VC SA aren't visible one from another. I stil hadn't take a final decision, but I think I will stick it the position that I showed before. Reach a consensus about this would be great. It seams that every person has a different idea about the position of the cities. I'll only be able to follow one of those ideas. Either way, I'll still share my tools, but as I said, moving maps is complicated.5 points -

Great work! This is really good! When I was actively working on the MTA version of the mod(around 2016) I ran into an MTA limitation where things would not be synched past ~6000x/y so to get around this I created a custom gtaM.dat(loaded only by MTA launcher) and ipl + radar.img files that moved the map to 5250/-5250. Both @goodidea82 and myself were working on scripts to make moving the map customizable by users. I'm not sure how far goodidea got with his scripts, but mine are able to move the maps + paths(using a tool made by @Swoorup and assuming you're moving in increments of 750). I didn't even attempt to move the water or radar through my scripts, but I'm fairly sure goodidea was working on this. I can take a look and see if I can dig them up and share. No don't stop, what you are doing is essentially what the initial purpose of this mod was - to provide a base for others to build on. Having your own topic for your work would allow it to get the attention it deserves and not be sandwiched between @artginPL's and others updates to the base mod. Keep up the great work, I'm really enjoying the updates!4 points -
