Updated GInput Textures GInput textures for a variety of consoles/platforms So What Is It? GInput textures for a variety of consoles and platforms so you can select the texture that matches closest to your controller of choice! So What's Included? A TXD file for each platform, simply choose which game you want to use these textures for, take the TXD of your choice and rename it to replace to old GInput files (e.g. If you want PS4 buttons, select PS4.txd and rename that to ps3btns.txd) So Where Can I Get It? I don't think you're wrong about some people being over optimistic and not looking at the big picture. We still have to get through GTAV next gen release, which could be delayed. We won't get a trailer until 6 months+ after that release, the most likely window is early-mid 2022. And with Rockstar's past the game won't be out until two years after the trailer, most likely holiday season 2024.7 points -

I didn't buy the Sparrow until I had completed the heist and I used the Buzzard for most of the set ups on my first heist.7 points -

Jason's statement's might be considered 'boring', but he's completely right, and he is a reliable journalist, if you don't believe him, then that's fine, but he's right. He expects it to release sometime in 2022/2023 which is what most people speculated and expects anyway, only thing he did wrong is using the term "early-development" which went over surprisingly a large number of people's head. While what you stated is possible because of COVID-19, I'm still not convinced that they'd delay their announcement just because of the GTA V port which is happening just to move the player base to next gen consoles and keep earning money, they can just easily do GTA VI related exclusive content in Next-Gen version of GTA O and the player base will only increase, Besides that, Tons of people will go back to play the older games when GTA VI is announced. That's not just our subreddit mate, That's basically the whole of Reddit . And also, I was downvoted because I said 80s would be better than modern times...6 points -

Tbh, CDPR never really said or teased they were trying to be like GTA V or whatever. People just look at the fact CP2077 is open world and that they consider that Rockstar is one of their role models, and immediately think what they're doing is comparable. This is much more of an RPG than a GTA game, but people insist on trying to compare Rockstar's games to this. This whole blind hate thing makes me angry because looking at the percentages in Steam achievements, people haven't even bothered to f*cking play the game properly. Just rush the story and cry about bugs for exposure.6 points -

The game is objectively a massive downgrade in comparison to IV, and even the older games in some ways (and you can't blame console limitations for this or at least not for the majority of it's issues, especially ones that weren't present in San Andreas which came out 9 years before V): I only wish there was a ''GTA SA is better than GTA V'' video in Crowbcat's style (one could honestly be made), because from what I've seen, all the other youtubers focus on the less important aspects and don't give nearly as much attention (if any) into the gameplay mechanics themselves.6 points -

Not sure if this is already known but I think I just figured out the location of the O'Creah's Run/Three Sisters area from the first trailer: That was taken near the Aberdeen Pig Farm, so if we treat the photo location as if it were the emerald ranch barn (which we know has not moved) that gives us this location for the lake: This confirms that the lake was moved at least THREE times in development. Interestingly, this location does not allow for Calumet Ravine to exist in its Final or Beta position. The mountains surrounding O'Creagh's Run simply overlap with both locations. This may have been the rationale for moving it again before release. On a side note, I've also been working on piecing together the topography of the old maps using evidence from trails and the relief from the leaked map. Here's an example: It's not great but some locations like the path north from iron cloud, the terrain south of O'Creagh's Run, and the ridge to the west of beta Calumet have precise analogues in the final map.5 points -

Last night was full of random bugs for me, just going in for a posse photo to check out the new backdrops and poses was hilarious. It started off okay Then Ruvik pulled a rifle from out of nowhere (not the same place he pulled that Banjo from I assure you) This picture just has so many different things happening. When Iara and Gavin asked Ruvik to put the rifle away he flat our refused They thought the taste of alcohol would be enough to bribe him, but still he refused Finally they got him to put the rifle away, but only on the condition that he could hold his revolver instead. Lol, Iara is looking at Ruvik like, "That's not how you hold that?" Yeah, I used that last backdrop because of the horse. So now I have to spend another hour deleting random photos from my gallery because I'm all used up, thanks Xbox!5 points -

What's so wrong with GTA V's story/How would you fix it?
MrPikmin16 and 4 others reacted to cp1dell for a topic
They did the inverse of IV+EFLC. Take the entirety of the game for example: You have three protagonists, each with their own main plot, and one over arching sub-plot (the diamonds) that causes some overlap with the other two protagonists occasionally. Instead of doing that again in GTA V, but with the convenience of one game and being able to switch characters, we got three protagonists featured in an over arching main plot with frequent overlaps, and each one with their own sub-plot (Michael's family, Trevor's business, Franklin and the hood). But two of those sub plots disappear rather quickly, and those two characters only have the main plot left for them. Michael's family thing is spread thin across the entire game. The story is small, and there's not a lot of missions. They should have did what they did with IV+EFLC. Michael's main plot could have been about his restlessness of being retired, and coming out of retirement, and the issues with his family and the effect him resuming his criminal activity has on them. Franklin's entire thing with getting out of the hood should have been much longer, as opposed to killing a couple people for Lester and then that's that. Same with Trevor's business. The FIB/Devon Weston plot should have been smaller and been the sub-plot that causes the characters' stories to overlap every now and then. Oh, and my other gripe with the story is Trevor being watered down. Some of you might remember the devkit that got leaked on here, and someone made that nice video of beta/removed cutscene audio. In the "Fame or Shame" portion, Trevor is much more threatening and menacing towards Michael and his family. His personality matches that of his personality in his first couple of missions, before getting to Los Santos. Where in the version of the game we got, once Trevor reaches Los Santos, his character changes from "violent criminal psychopath" to "criminal comedic relief random crazy man." I imagine there was a point in development where Trevor was more of a "playable antagonist" like Dan Houser mentioned in an old interview about how you would play as the antagonist, but then at some point in the story you'd view the original guy (Michael) as the actual playable antagonist, and then maybe changing your mind again etc. Then at some point they decided to tone Trevor down once he finds Michael, and the version of him that we met in Blaine County, completely disappears. EDIT: Or maybe not have the Madrazo plotline resolved so quickly. Hell, each character had their own antagonist related to their small personal story (Franklin/Stretch, and Trevor/The Chinese). That could have been Michael's. Michael's whole personal plot could have been coming out of retirement because of tearing down that house, and instead of one heist paying him off, you're working for him and his people, almost the entire game. Or maybe he is paid off by that heist, but Michael is frequently called upon instead of just once like in Caida Libre, and have a whole plot open up/expand from there.5 points -

We seriously need to be able to buy a second hangar
Edificator and 3 others reacted to naeesaim181 for a topic
TL:DR Let us buy multiple hangars! As of the Cayo Perico update, the hangar you buy will have no room for Pegasus aircraft if you own all the Hangar only aircraft. This sucks for people who own all the base aircraft, but want some Pegasus aircraft they can respray, or do stuff like with the Cargobob opening its rear door. I had to delete the sexy AF black titan and cargobob I used to abduct innocent unassuming players off LS streets. The worst has to be the spawn locations. Owning a hangar in LSIA allows you to spawn aircraft there, and you can’t spawn it in the military base or get that dope access. If you choose base access, you can never spawn your personal vehicles at the main airport which is super annoying for the larger planes. I ended up selling my more convenient LSIA hangar for the Fort access, but it’s annoying that I can’t spawn anything back there. The simplest solution is to allow players to own two hangars. I could practically store all the Pegasus aircraft i want, and you could then have access to spawning your planes wherever you please. It’s really annoying you have to choose between trivial things that worsen the game experience either way. At the very least rockstar could’ve added more storage, but apparently not. It lessens the amount of money players spend too, as it effectively limits the number of planes someone can buy and customize.4 points -

You can't even send video evidence to R* because they will just refer you to their sh*tty in game report function where they'll just ignore it. * Speaking of game breaking glitches that still hasn't been patched after all these years, this broken f*cking interaction menu is a joke. It's constantly hiding the CEO menu when you need it the most. * I recently bought a Yacht and Penthouse with all of the money I've made from the new heist. Now I'm literally getting spammed with calls from Lester, the Captain, English Dave, Ms. Baker, Pavel, and whom ever else just so happens to randomly call me. One after another in literally every new session I play of this game. Why can we not have this issue addressed after 7 f*cking years?!?!?4 points -
Next DLC Speculation Topic Mk X
Kernel and 3 others reacted to VitoCorleone1992 for a topic
Well, despite that always R* as any other company for marketing reasons, they tend to exaggerate a little bit of how good the product is, but in this case, R* went a little bit further. Why they can now use to tell us that: "no, you're wrong, this was the biggest dlc for our perspective", having a new island even if it's not free roamable? Yes. Putting more tha 250 new musics with 3 new radio stations? Yes too. But ofc we know better and they know better, they know that they didn't made the biggest dlc in terms of content, bcz not even the vehicle list, which is a fundamental part of any dlc, was the biggest one so far, not in terms of quantity neither quality and it's only redeemable bcz the beetle, fiat 500 and karts. They give us new social spaces, plural, but, it's only a new reskined nightclub from ours and the cayo perico beach, that basically just works as another dance floor, and again, althought they implemented a better dancing interactive system, where you can now kinda dance with another player, still i felt the lack of content and "things to do" inside a nightclub, for i do not understand what's stopping them from deliver a similar experience to the ballad of gay tony dlc of GTA IV (dancing and drinking mini-games and "WC thing" xD). One thing that i also don't agree that makes a lot of sense is making a freaking nightclub in the underground of a casino...i think that a different social space like restaurant or room shows would fit better and making the bahamas mamas being owned by Miguel Madrazzo and he inviting us to go see him to talk about bussinesses. But, R* as usual they want to maximize the thinnest profit margin that a nice paywall can offer, thus, the reason of all the launch of this dlc story being based in a nightclub that is inside the casino, and guess what...you can only go to the VIP area (which let you start the heist and own a submarine) if you have a previous property, the penthouse. Not to mention that i would like to see our character evolving in his/her criminal career, bcz...don't we already own a bunch of criminal assets? Why are we keeping ourselves like the errand boy/girl of some big figure of the city? Thus that's why i would like to see us being able to create our own criminal syndicate/mob family, or something like that, or at least being truly connected with one, which would made a LC map expansion having all the logic for that purpose, bcz of the 5 families, etc. One thing that i can't forget to say is that, being original, or kinda a copy/paste of casino heist, whatever is your opinion, the cayo perico heist became without a doubt the most profitable and easy way to grind in the game. I usually spend 40-50 minutes from the scope to the last prep mission (which for me i only do the submarine one, 3 of the second tab, that i'm not remembering the name, and the weapons mission, and none of the disruption tab, bcz i always do it stealthly and the strategy i use is the drainage tunnel) and the heist itself take me usually 10-11 minutes, which allows me to do the elite challenge. So, i'm more towards assertive ways of making profit bcz it's usually the quicker way rather enjoying doing the heist bcz it have "fun" mechanics, which even if it had, would at some point becoming boring and repetitive and only a true grinder have the mindset of letting that not affecting you that much. xD And too me, the fun department of the game is almost all above what you can do in free roam. But, one heist based around stealth, well...they failed from a large margin, like always when they try to do something with that, bcz the stealth mechanics of the game are just bad, bad...bad as it can be. And it's one thing that i really hope that they fix and upgrade in the next gen. Like implementing crounching, or if you press CTRL (keyboard) to walk more slower in order to not being detected, then that starts to work the way it was supposed to and for example, your map icon becoming invisible while doing that. And to answer your last question: i don't think it's too late for a new "actual biggest update ever", bcz R* knows perfectly that they need to put some new refresh things in the next gen, or people will stop playing the game even more than they already are doing...and i'm talking about the casual players. Not to mention that R* will have more room to improve since it's a new console and they will not stay so limited.4 points -
