LADS!!! We may well be in the year of the GTA VI announcement!

Just don't see GTA V "Enhanced" being a big deal (when there's backwards compatibility) and seems like R* doesnt think it's either, since they hired originally third-party studio to make it and put low effort on the announcement So far it's just the biggest PR blunder they've had (and a one they can fix by announcing VI soon after -> announcement will increase V sales as people will want to play it in the meantime) The main reason why the "Enhanced" is happening is just to attract more people to the next gen & help the transition, so that it's 100% sure there will be enough owners when VI comes out

Happy New Year all! If you're going to be playing the Cayo Perico Heist a lot, and don't know how to do this yet, it's possibly the best time saver going. You may or may not be aware, but it's possible to use a bike to jump the check point in the middle of the Island when you are doing the Intel Gathering mission (scoping). You can then ride the bike straight to the communications tower (the only compulsory part of the scoping). Suddenly the most tedious part of the heist becomes relatively painless. I've seen various people do this on speed run videos, but no one explain in detail how to pull this off every time. And that's important, because if you get spotted, you'll be booted back to the airport, and the bike that spawns there is confiscated. Here's a very short video guide, with explanation below: These are the important points when doing the jump: 1) Line up your bike in the position shown in the video. This is to the left of the small building before the checkpoint, and you will not get spotted here. So you can wait as long as you like and pick your moment to take the jump. You are aiming at the slope and need to ride between the two palm trees to the far left (these are helpful markers). 2) USE THE PAUSE SCREEN LARGE MAP TO CHECK THE POSITION OF THE GUARD IN THE TOWER. Don't rely on the mini-map radar: it's much less clear, as overlapping fields of vision from other guards and the security camera make it easy to misjudge who is looking where. 3) You only need to worry about the guard in the tower. He goes on a rotation where he looks N, then SW then SE. You need to set off to take the jump when he turns to look south east. If when you arrive he is already looking south east, don't jump, as he might turn around at any time. Wait for him to do a full rotation instead, so when he turns away you know you will have maximum time. 4) When you take the jump, lean back on the bike as you hit the slope. This will give you the right trajectory to get over the fence. Then, when you are air born, lean forward to level the bike off. This reduces the chance of you back wheel clipping the fence, or you having a bad landing and falling off (although if you've made sure the guard is looking away, you should have time to get back on and ride off. 5) You can then ride all the way to the comms tower without serious risk of being spotted - route is shown in the video a 2x speed. Once you've used the security compound you can either finish up or carry on with scoping. From an efficiency point of view, if you want to do the Elite Challenge, I'd say it's then worth riding down to the main docks to check you have enough loot there to fill your bag(s) - sometimes there won't be enough (assuming you're not going solo and weren't lucky enough to get two paintings in the office). My back up is to go via the airfield and use a disguise, as there is always plenty of loot there (but will maybe add 2 minutes on to your finale time). If you're not bothered about the Elite, or have finished, you can simply get caught on purpose as a way of fast travelling back to the airfield, and you're done. Hope this helps people, certainly, mastering this jump was a game changer for me.

Sad new year news, MF Doom who contributed to the new gta playlists has died. He put out 2 new exclusive tracks just for the recent gta update. RIP R* will surely acknowledge this later today..

I couldn't wait long enough to buy a second (or third.) I took some shots for posterity of my Surfer build then sent it to go live in Sandy Shores for about 40 years or so.

This is the year of gta v enhanced (PS5/Xbox Series X). The announcement of gta 6 would overshadow it completely. Forget about an announcement in 2021.

I just played Yakuza 0 recently and cabaret club is the most fun activity in the game. I hope we can have something like that, maybe we can run strip club instead.

My drunken self f*cked up and delete a file remotely instead of locally, and then my drunken self forgot about! Note to self, don't try and work on any coding when drunk, it never ends well... since I didn't even realised and I didn't come here after I posted and the site was working then, the file was edited at 21:36 and it's 07:00 for me now, so was down for 10 hours and it was my own stupid fault haha!

Happy 2021 people. We should receive info about any upcoming Rockstar Games this year, even if it's not GTA VI. Let's see if in January 1st 2022 I'll be right or wrong. The reason I'm saying this is because by 2022 it will have been +3 years without anything new from Rockstar, and this would be very strange, for any industry standard, even more so after Zelnick said Take Two was pressing Rockstar to release more games. So let's hope this year is the year of GTA VI

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 2020 is FINALLY over! It's been a difficult year to all of us. Huge nature disasters, unemployment, many companies going down, waves of violence and, of course, COVID-19. In my case, I ALMOST lost my father for the Coronavirus. Gladly he survived and feels better now! As bad as this year was, I had many blessings, counting with my father's recovery. Also, finally doing digital sketches! I'm still quite slow at that, but hopefully won't take too long to make them as quick as I used to do before on paper. Let's take a time in this celebration to remember all our loved ones who unfortunately didin't survived and may they rest in peace. May 2021 be a better year to everyone! I'm glad, it got to be too much after 3/4 days. I liked it best when it was 3 days of snow then a few days dry then 2 more days of snow. That respite is sorely needed IMO.

This group is good friends with Sam Houser and even introduced kleinmusic to Rockstar games. They also djed for Rockstar games and their programmers in a November 2019 Miami party. If you go to the link i provided you will see that they posted a pic advertising a collaboration between Rockstar games and Circoloco. Also (and this is the juicy part) if you scroll down the comment section you will see tejsupport a member of this group stating in a comment "2021". This is not a city morgue situation, these people are actually affiliated with Rockstar. There are pics to prove it and also a couple of articles. Considering Rockstar already gave us 3 djs with the Cayo Perico heist so we are done with this dj update,i am starting to believe that Circoloco will provide the music for gta Vi first trailer. What do you think?

Changed mine to resemble a '70 Beetle I saw at a car lot back in '02 for $1500. I would've bought it if I wasn't broke at the time. Of course, I'm still broke, but the same car would probably cost five or six times as much now. The Weevil is more based on a pre-'54 with various 60's and post '67 details... and even some from a Subaru 360 (the front turn signals and the fuel filler door being in the center of the back above the decklid) but I liked the overall look of that car a lot.

Yes this was my thought exactly. I've just finished getting Elite by all the different vehicles to get the travel plans awards, and this was the single most important time saving method. Yes this is an equally valid way of getting through. There are pros and cons to each. This way you have to be more careful with the guards on the ground and look out for patrol cars, but you don't have the risk of crashing during the jump. With the jump you only have to worry about the guard in the tower. Different players may have a preference for one method or the other, I think the important thing is to pick one way and master it. Like I say, get it wrong, you're sent back to the airport, which costs time, and you lose the bike. There is another by the North drop point as well I think, so that gives you a second opportunity, but still it'll be a time sink. Poor attitude - it show you to be aloof and arrogant. I've given up on being patient with people like you, fundamentally you don't deserve it, and need your behaviour to be called out instead. I found the heist extremely easy, and it's not difficult to do the jump when you know how. Other people might not know this is even an option, nor exactly how to pull it off. This is a point of knowledge, not ability. And if you stuff it up, the bike's confiscated, and you're back at the start which wastes even more time. Knowing exactly how to do it from the get go is therefore useful. It's not only a time save it cuts out the most boring bit of the whole thing. If you're Johnny Big 8ollokcs and can do it blindfolded then good for you. Just stay happy sniffing your own backside, no one else cares how great you think you are and that everyone else is rubbish in comparison. EDIT - Strike through comments retracted out of respect given ultimately the conversation took a better tone.

It's 2021, finally. Let's pray that GTA V E&E is not released in October (or further than that), so GTA VI announcement will more likely to happen this year.

That, and Rockstar also knows to not start talking too early, which I think was one of CDPR's curses. There truly is a reason why we only hear about Rockstar games much later in development.

CJ making all of his connections and operating his businesses. Claude simply not being a drama queen, unlike literally every other GTA protagonist. Dumbest: Claude remaining with Catalina for NINE YEARS and somehow not even seeing it coming until he was shot and left to be arrested by the cops, despite obviously knowing her insanity! Michael pulling down Martin Madrazo’s house all because he couldn’t control his temper. Johnny screwing Ray over in the diamond deal.

Ok it’s a tad early, but I’m 35. The closer I get to 40 the more it starts to freak me out. Can’t believe I joined this place when I was 21. The beers are on me boys.

- He was in danger from Bulgarin where he was from so he had to leave - The ship he was travelling on while working in the merchant navy happened to be making a stop there - His cousin who he grew up with like a brother lived there, and also talked up how great it was - He'd heard one of the men he wanted to track down to get answers from might live there - Potentially he could live a quieter life since as far as he knew Roman wasn't involved with any criminals and he had no enemies there So even if he had no plans whatsoever being in Liberty City made the most sense for him for multiple reasons. The thing that caused his plans to change was when he arrived he found out Roman had exaggerated about his success and also that he was in debt to and in danger from dangerous criminals. So against what he wanted, he was pulled back into dealing with criminals and having to make some fast money again to help Roman, leading to him back into crime (partly being forced to by Vlad and then Dimitri/Faustin, partly because it's what he's best at making money at). And then once Bulgarin was on the scene he was fully screwed. You're right that he made mistakes that made things worse but I think things could've gone bad anyway whatever he did since Roman was already in trouble and Bulgarin was already there when he arrived. And there's also the element of him wanting answers and revenge so badly clouding his judgement. And that's part of what makes him a good character, he's flawed, doesn't always make the right decisions, and also notices his own flaws and tries to justify them to himself in a very human way. It's just more interesting for a character to be that way than always be perfect.

Bit of a random rant but it mildly annoys me how many people complain about RDO being slow & boring when they’re doing it to themselves. The min-maxing of waiting out timers during bounties or missions is a prime example. People stand there for ten full minutes to earn a slither of extra gold and then turn around to complain about the game being boring. Just hand in your mission and start another one. Play the game and enjoy what it offers instead of grinding for currency that you can barely spend on anything anyway. People are so obsessed with turning an open world RPG into a capitalism sim that they seem to completely forget that you’re supposed to have fun with videos games, not treat them as your second job. And then youtubers like Hazard and even pvponlycat reinforce this obsession by telling new players in their guides that they should play this way. I feel like the community would have a much healthier attitude towards this game if new players wouldn’t be taught stuff like this. Yes, Rockstar is also at fault here of course for designing their games around you wanting more money/gold but let’s not forget that the choice if we fall for this is always ours. Just play the game and have fun. When you get bored don’t make it worse for yourself by turning it into a chore and complain about it. Just put it aside and play something else until you feel like playing RDO again.
