Thought this would be a good way to cap off 2020 as far as discussions go. Pretty explanatory. Note this isn’t just protagonists. It can be any character. Bit of a random rant but it mildly annoys me how many people complain about RDO being slow & boring when they’re doing it to themselves. The min-maxing of waiting out timers during bounties or missions is a prime example. People stand there for ten full minutes to earn a slither of extra gold and then turn around to complain about the game being boring. Just hand in your mission and start another one. Play the game and enjoy what it offers instead of grinding for currency that you can barely spend on anything anyway. People are so obsessed with turning an open world RPG into a capitalism sim that they seem to completely forget that you’re supposed to have fun with videos games, not treat them as your second job. And then youtubers like Hazard and even pvponlycat reinforce this obsession by telling new players in their guides that they should play this way. I feel like the community would have a much healthier attitude towards this game if new players wouldn’t be taught stuff like this. Yes, Rockstar is also at fault here of course for designing their games around you wanting more money/gold but let’s not forget that the choice if we fall for this is always ours. Just play the game and have fun. When you get bored don’t make it worse for yourself by turning it into a chore and complain about it. Just put it aside and play something else until you feel like playing RDO again.

I was already a bit late to this, but managed to unlock it with the one character I had that owned a submarine and doing the missions etc. Based it on Shelly's '63 (or so) beetle from Friday the 13th Part 3 simply because the custom crew color I was using at the time (Mopar Sunfire Yellow B3B16FFF) was close enough to the color of the car in the movie. I'll buy at least a few more and do more things with them when it's actually released... kinda odd how the interior colors are set up... I chose beige because i felt the headliner being an off-white color was the most important thing... even though the seats and door panels should probably be black. Hard to decide, really. Perhaps GM Butternut Yellow (DEC77FFF) is closer as it's a bit warmer of a color... either way, both are ones I made ages ago. Just experimenting with ones I already had. (when do we get a 2CV?)

Managed to find another chest underwater outside the Main Dock. And thanks to @Viboxing (GTAGFX) my other chest was at the airport as well. Is everyone's spawn the same? If so, I'll be feeling a little giddy that I managed to fin da location(albeit randomly) so quickly on my own for once!

If you bought that 5 dollar offer for gold bars, you've supported the game. In 2018 I had no problem buying those 5 gb for each of my 13 accounts, because I believe in supporting a game I love. I also spent a bit more on one of the characters, because again the game was worth supporting in my view. As it now stands, with so little effort coming from Rockstar to improve their game, I wouldn't buy a gold bar if my life depended on it (not that I need to). Long-term players aren't leeches. No other game treats their long-term players this way. The daily gold nerf needs to be reverted to what it was, it's a sleazeball move.

Except it's never foreshadowed in TLAD, it's a complete character 180, he's doing thing he explicitly said he'd never do in TLAD, that's like Niko randomly hanging out with Darko and somehow become best friend with no explanation, it makes no sense. If they provided a logical explanation as to why Johnny become who he is in V I'd be fine with it But it's not just Johnny either. Terry and Clay was turned into pushover as well. I wouldn't be surprised if they made Angus suddenly walking on with 2 legs with no explanation either, and people would defend that as well saying that the meth gave him super power or something. basically the guy who is interviewed in the podcast is part of Kleinemusik in the new update. He says he worked on the DLC about 9 months ago, and he met the rockstar team while he was DJ'ing at a party for rockstar developers and Sam Houser in Miami Most likely related to the next GTA

TL:DR Let us buy multiple hangars! As of the Cayo Perico update, the hangar you buy will have no room for Pegasus aircraft if you own all the Hangar only aircraft. This sucks for people who own all the base aircraft, but want some Pegasus aircraft they can respray, or do stuff like with the Cargobob opening its rear door. I had to delete the sexy AF black titan and cargobob I used to abduct innocent unassuming players off LS streets. The worst has to be the spawn locations. Owning a hangar in LSIA allows you to spawn aircraft there, and you can’t spawn it in the military base or get that dope access. If you choose base access, you can never spawn your personal vehicles at the main airport which is super annoying for the larger planes. I ended up selling my more convenient LSIA hangar for the Fort access, but it’s annoying that I can’t spawn anything back there. The simplest solution is to allow players to own two hangars. I could practically store all the Pegasus aircraft i want, and you could then have access to spawning your planes wherever you please. It’s really annoying you have to choose between trivial things that worsen the game experience either way. At the very least rockstar could’ve added more storage, but apparently not. It lessens the amount of money players spend too, as it effectively limits the number of planes someone can buy and customize.

FYI do remember these are concept arts so things don't necessarily match what they fully planned but rather both a bit of planning and artist vision. They could've even decided that Cumberland Falls wasn't going to be snowy right after artists started working on interpreting that concept art into the game engine - so perhaps a snowy Cumberland Falls was never even in the game.

Testers are rarely the problem especially on AAA productions. Testers could fill the Library of Congress full of bugs and issues that need addressing but if they don't have the developer resources, or if the suits don't see many of them as a priority, they won't get fixed. Cyberpunk's meltdown happened because of over ambition and nothing more IMO. All the stuff they're good at it, that they made their name on in TW3, is in Cyberpunk (and I'd argue improved, especially character writing) but they also tried to do a whole lot more and it's not a case of players getting over excited, CDPR were talking about stuff in interviews that just isn't here in the game right now. My guess is more and more of that "side" stuff that they wanted to do got either cut or dialed back (considerably in some cases) to meet deadlines. They're on record saying that Rockstar are the type of studio they want to be, emulating a lot of their design, marketing, etc, but the difference between CDPR and Rockstar isn't the financial budget, time or even talent, it's that Rockstar's something like 3 or 4 times the size of CDPR in terms of developers, and that makes a big difference.

You are probably right though. And that's exactly what I was thinking of when I wrote my post. I'd love the next role addition to be an adventure, and not so easy to finish. These find and retrieve hunts they have us do could do with some more meat to make things way more interesting. Sounds about right... I wanted to love this post because it is really the honest truth. Months ago I was pretty set in my ways that RDO was the game that I wanted to invest my time and money in, but as time went on I kind of started to lose that drive. For me part of the problem was the lack of honest communication from the company itself. Many other companies seem truly excited about what they have, but for RDO it just seems like the game is a chore for them to acknowledge, and that the players who love the game are leechers. I'm proud to say that at level 38 I blew up a lvl 600 player in a chopper who kept spawn killing me, using my own heat seeking missile. I think I mad him really mad because he was having a good time spawn killing other players in the area and he probably didn't think I had something like that in my inventory. That and the cussing me off for being a pitiful low level puke, I'm not really saying what he called me over and over because it's not really appropriate. I think I had to pay for his chopper but when I saw the little notification that I killed him I was like, no way! So you are right, even being a low level against a higher level with a chopper I had some way to retaliate. I've been spending my money on fire power to give me good ground to stand on in GTA instead of vehicles, I might be doing it wrong but I am not unhappy with my choices.

More of that "New player" bullsh*t, doesn't help the fact you're pushing and have pushed majority of the old players away..... Incentives should go to EVERYONE! And these "Free *insert item here* up to rank 15" coupons need to just f*ck off, they're complete crap! Just make them allow you to get one free item of any value unless it's "New"
