As to be fair GTA is still great, specially when I see other games I realize how well done Rockstar Games are. Keep it up.

Finally unlocked mine! After you've completed English Dave's 3rd mission, it will take approximately 2 real-time hours before he will call you, saying that "he'd like you to take his motor" for your hard work.

Second would be snacks when I'm doing missions or heists. Third would be the Buzzard just because it is so useful when I can spawn it right at my feet and get anywhere quickly. Forth would be my Hydra for getting around the map quickly and it looks like it will be useful for some set ups for the Cayo heist. Fifth would be my Up N Atomiser for getting vehicles unstuck and breaking down fences without wasting grenades and getting a wanted level. My least used thing on this list is my Terrorbyte because I just don't use it I use my Akula in stealth mode to easily get rid of cops for casino heist set ups and I don't do the cilent jobs. I don't do the boring crates either which is it's only other real use.

Nothing ain't gonna happen to no economy. Sure, everyone on this forum can do this heist, no doubt about it. But we are only a small percentage of GTA:O's population. But who says that the average randumbs that I tend to meet on random heists, can pull off the Cayo Perico heist succesfully and consistently? I'm talking about that randumb that started an Aggressive Casino heist from the Paleto arcade, with zero optional preps and cheapest gunman and hacker, but they'll probably never read this, just like they never got past the casino floor. Most of those randumbs sure look like they don't know what a guide is. And even if they got onto youtube, they probably only watch the clickbaiters that teach them less than nothing. Rockstar is counting on a lot of randumbs buying the submarine (maybe with shark cards) and then get stuck on the heist until they give up.

Worry about other things. Like stability, quality, ease of use and general diversity of upcoming content. Because from where I'm sitting it seems like we've been getting more of the same since 2017.

It's already started, the Itali RSX is 3.4 million before the trade price. To try and justify it, Rockstar placed it in the sports class so it could be competitive, but it's supposed to be a super, and if it was it'd be quite mediocre. But the economy has been f*cked since after the original heists. Things are already stupidly priced, I can't believe most single heist payouts could only afford you one new car. It's pathetic. It's a waste of time, that's why I just spawn the sh*t in SP and call it a day.

With the Cayo Perico heist the meta for grinding is Kosatka + Sparrow. That's it. That's all you need for the most profitable grind.

i remember reading about it in a coverage of E3 2004 i think. the first picture i saw was this shot of CJ on his bike in front of the LA Convention Center. must have been pretty cool to be one of the people who attended E3 that year and saw this screenshot while they were inside the Convention Center. i also remember that there was an interactive map of San Andreas on the official webpage. it had a bunch of very short videos showcasing the in-game world too. it took hours to download them but it was worth it lol. not even GTA V got me this hyped

I truly hate this plane. As someone who models things in his freetime, it really frustrates me that someone probably got paid a lot of money to work on this thing. There is simply no way it could be worse than it currently is. No entering animation, it is not possible to seat more than one player, it sits 1 feet above the ground, it looks kinda weird, it is really slow and it has no flexible wings despite correct dummy placement. This thing is awful.

English Dave gave me his car for free! What a legend! Sure, he had me fly him over pizza from Los Santos, all the way to the Caribbean, the bloody nutter. Got the car early though!

So I'm driving around in my Toreador when this Mk2 decides to approach and try to blow me up, but falls victim to my rocket instead. I drive off and his CEO boyfriend teleports to his facility and kills me with the pathetic cryhard sky cannon to avenge his boyfriend's death. Really? Almost a million dollars to avenge your boyfriend's death which was brought upon himself? You couldn't even at least TRY to get a revenge kill on me by putting in at least an iota of effort? Give me a f*cking break. You people need to stop taking this game so seriously and soften up. lmao The most toxic addition to this game alongside the Mk2.

I'm an older fan of the series and I did not find it alienating. These opinions are quite subjective and it could be that they simply didn't find these to be a worthy enough. Yes, a reviewer is supposed to present both pros and cons of a video game, but at the end of the day, a reviewer is also a gamer just like the rest of us. They all have their own opinions and viewpoints. Why not? I think it's quite fair to bring up GTA IV. If you believe that video game reviewers are being a little lenient with their scores, then that is your opinion. But I find it odd that you bring up GTA V as an example for this topic and not GTA IV. You say reviewers should bring up every con of a game, if so why did no reviewer bring up the, say, lack of customization in GTA IV for instance? And why didn't you include GTA IV in your original post as an example for critics being lenient with scores? I find your inconsistency a little hard to understand and the only explanation I can give is that you have an inherent bias against V. On the contrary, I don't see you bring up factual evidence either. So I merely rebutted your ancedotal evidence with my personal observations. You still haven't answered my question, from where did you gather data that most long time fans of the series did not like GTA V? If you tell me it's based off that one video, I've already presented a counter argument to that matter. The whole point of my argument is that you picked a bad example to show your sentiment against critics. If you're going to present GTA V, it's only fair you present GTA IV, although in my opinion neither of these are good examples for this topic.

Isn't exclusive to GTA, but I am literally so sick and tired of people using the "its just a game" or the "i have a life" excuse. I've heard this for literally over 15 years now and it is the laziest, cheapest excuse you can say. This false sense of moral superiority is the most asinine thing I've come across. Like take example this guy blew up my cargo so I ended up playing cat and mouse with him all over the map. I'd get a few kills on him, then he'd rpg spam me or something and run away while I respawned. Eventually I just stopped chasing him and called him out for running all over the map and then he says "imagine taking a game like GTA seriously". Bruh. He took it serious enough to get to level 200. I'm not really offended about cargo getting blown up as it's just how GTA is, I'm tired of the same "hurr durr I'm better than u and u live in mommys basement! I have a lyfe!!!!!! u dont!!!!!" charade.... it's overplayed to hell

Prices are mostly random. A functional soviet submarine is cheaper than an average sport car, and that same bare-bones sub can make you retire from grinding and buy whatever you want. A new player can buy only the Kosatka and after a couple weeks be as rich as somebody who has every single business\heist property. All while playing solo. This may be the last time the in-game 'economy' broke for the better; now we can play on our terms with full wallets.

Just found out that on PC, modders can now join your invite only session, in addition to discovering that they can take you out of your own CEO. Thank f*ck I don't play on PC and I sincerely question anyone who does (play in freemode on PC that is, I totally get FiveM etc)

I always wondered why people think this game has an in-game economy. For there to be an actual economy, currency must be able to be exchanged between players for goods. You can't even willingly give some of your money to another player such as a friend who could really use the extra funds. Games like World of Warcraft has an in-game economy, Gta Online does not. I got well over 500 million, more than I can ever hope to spend at this point. I would love to give some of my hard earned millions to some friends to help them catch up, but that is not an option.

Who is still going to be foolish enough to purchase shark scams I mean cards? The sub was pretty expensive with all upgrades but idk, the GTA Online economy is kinda boring nowadays because dlc is so rarely released that anyone who can play somewhat often and knows how to grind effectively can make so much money between DLCs that practically they have unlimited money available.

Is it sad I find this thread more entertaining than the actual game? I mean, at least the thread doesn't take 10 f*cking minutes to load...

finally ! this beauty is in my compacts´ garage ! kept it simple , this is the look for now ! love its classicism ! it´s fairly fast too ( just don´t be too optimistic in the corners , this is still an 80 year old technique).

I tested some things... I took 1 x full gold, then moved to a cash pickup. There, I pressed to collect 5 times. Then I moved to another gold pickup. There, I pressed to collect 3 times. Then I moved to some artwork, which I couldn't collect sadly... so moved back to the gold from before and collected one more time I think. But that was around $492,000 overall. Our loot bag max capacity is currently set to a value of "1800". With that information in mind, here's some actual numbers. Took me a while to get this data and calculate the percentages, but maybe it'll come in handy for some people... GOLD COCAINE ARTWORK 1 x painting = 900 = 50% of total bag capacity. WEED CASH

It’s popular among the hardcore GTA IV fanbase. Infact I don’t know anyone who’s a fan of GTA IV who isn’t also a fan of TLAD and vice versa. TBOGT though? Completely mixed bag depending on who’s who. As it’s been said so many times TLAD fits with GTA IV so much better. I do like TBOGT, but it’s like one of those third movies in a franchise that’s not really necessary and only exists for fan service. Put it like this GTA IV and TLAD are The Godfather and The Godfather Part II of the trinity and TBOGT is The Godfather Part III.

Simple native trainers got updated with the latest release. I started to browse MP female clothings and I found a (seemingly) brand new type of tank top: Texture is ugly, but give me plain colored tank top like these and I will definitely use that.

Bit of a big bump but there was a good discussion about lootboxes here a while back now and I thought this would be relevant: Over 1 in 10 younger people have gotten into debt through lootboxes. Almost one in six (15%) young gamers had taken money from their parents without their permission to buy loots boxes; One in ten (11%) had used their parents’ credit or debit card to fund their loot box purchases; One in ten (9%) had borrowed money they couldn’t repay to spend on loot boxes; Three young gamers’ loot box buying habits resulted in their families having to re-mortgage their homes to cover the costs. This is stuff that absolutely needs exposure but won't get it over current hot topics cause it doesn't bring the clicks and thus ad revenue.

I can explain but shame you can't see it because you blocked me for having a differing opinion RIP It's sh*t (at least to me) because it's just a depression fest. You're sitting there playing the dumb game watching your club fall apart and there's nothing you can do about it, nor is there anything Johnny chooses to do about because he's a complete pushover and simp for Ashley. And the few times he does make an impact on IV's trillogy (showing up with the drugs to the bust and stealing Ray's money), it's immediately glossed over. He doesn't change the criminal hierarchy in the city, unless you consider one greasy biker gang going down a change. Couple with the fact that the gang warfare gets incredibly repetitive, all the clubhouse games and television shows are unwatchable after beating the game, the yellow piss filter, and the fact that you're constantly relegated to a sh*tty heavy bike that corners like my dead grandma when it'd at least be interesting to have some kind of bike customization or being able to choose which bike you use during missions, it's no wonder TLAD is, quite literally, the overlooked middle child and for good reason too.
