    I want to write a review for this update: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'll start with cons and problem areas HEIST: The heist is senselessly prolonged. The whole heist could be reduced much more. Long cutscenes where there is a minimum of action, they can be squeezed 2-3 times without sacrificing meaning. During the cutscenes, me and my friends always had the feeling that long af, for too long, nothing useful for the ears and eyes is happening. The prep tasks are also lengthy and have the same plot. Even in the casino there were more variations of the prep missions, you can immediately see it was done in limited conditions. The gameplay is empty, nothing. At all. The heist itself is very non-interactive, it is certainly cool that the players are given to themselves and must use logic. But almost all the fees turn into photographing everything in a row at random, which somehow stands out, or do it according to ready-made tutorials from the Internet. In the wall to the right of gates there are bones from a corpse and a hole in the mesh. WHICH IS NOT INTERACTIVE, you at least take pictures, even approach it nothing happens. Why is it there, if you cannot interact with it or use it as an entry / exit point? The heist itself turns into kill everyone, steal the key, go downstairs through the doors, you don't even need an elevator. There is just a safe in the basement and there are no complications or interesting turns, just a f*cking basement with a safe. All this turns into the fact that we are not robbing a tough drug lord, but just someone's big house. The hard level of difficulty is no different from the average. If you complete all the prep (even poison the guards). They start bad shooting , and to die you have to try. I had to run to enemies to be killed. And this is at a hard level! The balance of the equipment is very strange, the paintings in bag, like a whole table of gold. The whole heist is just a dull running around the island that takes a lot of time. Lots of wasted time with no interesting twists and turns. Rockstar Games love to slow down gameplay and pointlessly complicate or greatly simplify some points. But this is the climax of this sh*t. After passing the heist, you have a feeling not like before. This is not: wow, it was a cool adventure. As with the other heists. This: Jeez, it's finally over. Submarine is an interesting idea only on paper. It's just a pain in the ass. To return to it, you have to waste time and nerves. The first times it was fun and cool to get on it, but then when you collect several heists, this is very tired and you just want to throw this f*cking boat in the middle of the road in Los Santos. VEHICLES: Everything is very bad here, I had very low expectations. Rockstar managed to surprise me. Everything turned out to be even lower. A bunch of vehicles that are used only in heist. People will not use in the normal game, too specific vehicles. There are very few cars for ordinary use. It's good that at least there is cars that people have been waiting for, then it would be a completely epic fiasco. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now to pros MUSIC: Of course, a huge emphasis was placed on music and everything is fine with it, but this update is not about music, but about robbery. I have a feeling that they were doing After Hours 2 and then decided to make the heist, and not vice versa. ADDITIONAL TASKS: It's good that we added quests to find antennas and search for pieces using a submarine. It was very important for me and it was done on OK. Usual good DJ help assignments. Thanks for having them. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Conclusion: I was very much looking forward to this update because everything sounded very cool, but my suspicions that rockstar are too much promoting the musical part of the update because the heist is meh, came true. I am very upset. I've been playing GTA online for a long time, and I know all the mechanics and tricks of Rockstar, their favorite slow animations and actions in general. But this update has pushed all this madness to new heights. If you open an explanatory dictionary with pictures and find the word: DESPONDENCY. There will be art of this heist. Even music didn’t save this 4/10

  6. Ok so the research has been done, and put in spoilers below. Let's get on with it! What you need? Nothing but a Submarine, but i would also recommend buying the Sparrow. You can land your MKII Oppressor on the submarine, but it usually slides off and gets destroyed, so the Sparrow is worth the purchase. It sits right beside the heist room, and you can tap right on the D-Pad to auto dock it back into the submarine. Also modify it in the sub with missiles. Step 1. Gather intel (15-20 minutes total) - Go to X location. Simple enough, just fast travel your submarine to the closest place for $2000. Take out the guards, steal the Velum and fly - Sneak to the communications tower. I won't lie, I literally just run to it. Vehicles could be used, but with the god awful foliage, I found it more hassle than enough. I basically run through the gate at the checkpoint, then straight to the Comms tower through the middle of the map. - Vault target. So far I've had: Pink Diamond - 1.3 million Madrazo files - 1.2 million (original heist) Bearer bonds - 1.1 million Ruby necklace - 1 million Sansito Tequila - 900,000 (Possible others. Will add accordingly) You can also go right again to the next 2 cameras to see if there are any paintings in the upper office. If there is 2 of them, then thats arguably the best result, but if there is one, or even none, never fear! Once that's done, it's time to leave, and the easiest way? Get caught! It will spawn you back at the airstrip, and quickly get back to Los Santos. Step 2. Approach Vehicle (5-10 minutes) Submarine Kosatka You have to go to the Merryweather test site, so fast travel the sub up to one of the two assigned locations at the top of the map. For me it was Procopio Beach. Great tip from @Inked. is once you fast travel to near the Merryweather site, drive your submarine closer to the marker! I was swimming from the point of spawn adding more time. Now it's 5 minutes with a close spawn of the sonar jammer, and closer to 10 if you have to traverse all levels of the sub. Equip your scuba gear (or use a purchased Avisa, but I'd advise against it since it's far too slow), and get to the waypoint under the water. You will board the Merryweather submarine, and once there, guards will just eat your health and armour in the typical R* fashion so check your corners! These guards sometimes don't appear on the mini-map and will one shot kill you. Get the jammer and get back to your sub. You have to enter above water, so pray the aimbots don't get you. Unless there's a way to swim into it underwater which I don't know about. Step 3. Prep (40-50 minutes total) 2.1 -Demolition Charges (10 minutes) So much thanks to @Acebats for this next tip! You don't need this AT ALL! It's a prep mission that becomes redundant with doing the Cutting Torch mission. That mission is so much easier and shorter than having to take on the O'Neil's! 2.2 - Safe Code/Plasma Cutter (10 minutes) The safe code is at the Diamond Casino, so fast travel the sub to North Palomino Highlands, and fly your Sparrow to outside of the casino car parking garage. Head inside, and if you own a penthouse, take the lift up (I own one, and I am not sure what happens if you don't. If you know, please reply!). Once up there, silently take out the guards at the door to keep things under the radar. Or, go in all guns blazing. Find the guy Pavel messages you a photo of, then exit the building. You should have a 2 star wanted level, but as long as you parked at the casino garage entrance, just get in and fly back to the sub. The cops should be off you by then. The plasma cutter is in a safe house. It was in La Mesa for me. Fast travel to the nearest spot and enter the safehouse. Inside will be empty since this is a heist crew already on the job. Take a photo of a clue and send to Pavel so he can find them. Once they are located, go and take them out, grab the cutter and bring it back to the sub. 2.3 - Fingerprint Cloner (5 minutes) Vespucci Beach is the best fast travel, since you need to get to a warehouse in the centre of Los Santos. Once there, kill the camera via the small box with a red handle on the side. Inside, take out the guards (I used a sticky bomb just to the right of the guard in front) and hack the laptop. Go to the next location, and shoot the 2 cameras outside. Once inside, look around the white tables on the left for the keycard. Don't worry, there's no guards to annoy you this time. Head back to the sub and that's that. 2.4 - Cutting torch (5 minutes) This can spawn at a few locations in Los Santos I believe, so best off leaving your sub as Vespucci Beach. It's not hard. Fly to the location, and search the construction site. Stealth run around guards searching the small boxes for the cutting torch. If you find a hard hat, put it on. Once you get it, head back to the sub. Easy. 2.5 - Weapons (5-10 minutes) You can choose whatever load out you prefer! It doesn't really matter since we will be taking headshots and meleeing anyways. But make sure to buy the suppressor option! This is a must. The mission itself is straightforward enough. You have to go to one of the given office buildings around Los Santos. The interior will always be the same. Land your Sparrow on the roof and head inside. Simply take out the guards, hack the laptop to unlock the gun locker (left wall pillar behind the laptop), and take the weapons. Another mission is to tail a Merryweather Valkyrie to a drop point. This can take longer as it flies half way up the map. Ugh. Anyways, once this is done, head back to the sub. It's time to heist! Step 4. Heist (10 - 15 minutes total) Now all of the hard work is done, let's get paid. First off, NO DETECTION. No alarms. That's an absolute given. In and out silently. If you get caught, just die. You will not survive. Our approach is as follows: Approach Vehicle - Kosatka Infiltration Point - Drainage Tunnel Compound Entry Point - Drainage Tunnel Escape Point - Main Dock Time of Day - your preference Weapon Loadout - your preference No support crew needed Once you spawn in, swim past the mines, and use the cutting torch on the grate in the tunnel. Once you spawn into the map, do a 180, and take the first right. This should bring you to the steps of the office building which lead up to the left (use the keypad symbol for guidance. Melee any guards you encounter, take a headshot, to even leave some if they wont notice you. Once into the office, if you got a painting or 2 on the camera feed, then cut them out for your first cash in the bag. 1 painting will fill half of it. 2 will max it out obviously. There is a secret safe also in this room. Just go to the wall with the family photos on it, and you should get the prompt. Next, hack the keypad, which are a bit easier than the Diamond Casino Heist fingerprints. Get into the vault. and get your item, then leave the same way you got in. Get to the main gate with a mixture of stealth and kill anyone you feel you need to. After the cutscene of you leaving, run straight towards the red marker on the map. His back is to you so take a free headshot. The next two guards to the right you can headshot, but i prefer to spring up and melee them. There will be a bike to the left pillar here, so watch the camera and leave on it (they open the barrier for you, how nice). Outside you are basically looking to go straight, but head more to the right rather than dead straight, to avoid the cones of the guards. El Rubio will also be in a chopper but he has never came close to me yet. Once you are done avoiding the steel trees, get down to the Main Dock, and take out any guards you see fit. If you haven't filled your loot bag yet, look in the huts where loot does spawn in this section. See the video below for the locations. Once that's done, make sure all the guards who could spot you on your way out are taken out, and leg it in one of the boats. Don't worry too much about the patrolling guards on the boats. As long as you are a bit of distance from them, you should be good. Just drive the boat out to sea until the cutscene kicks in. There's also another route, as seen in the video below by @BeatsDown https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aa5_-XlQUnY So that's that. If you get used to it all, and stay within the faster times for each, you can clear close to 1.5 million every 90 minutes (barring end of heist cooldown). Of course there are other methods to do the heist, possibly quicker too, when it comes to the heist itself. But i wanted to try and get the quickest and easiest from start to finish. All scope out and prep inclusive. I wanted to get something like this made also, to compare it with the Diamond Casino Heist, since people are wondering which they should do. Well, for me, the Diamond Casino Heist is a bit more fun to both set up and do, but when it comes to money making solo, it can be hit and miss. Taking into consideration all of the effort of finding lobbies and being kicked, or getting a randomer into help with your artwork run who messes it up etc. this is the better method for strictly grinding money solo.     thanks those are some nice screenshots. i love the customizations on this thing. kinda makes me glad it was cut from the game, we would just have had a boring crusader mk ii otherwise. rockstar really did it justice. though i noticed a bug with one the bullbars (dual lights), they don't light up. every single other bullbar AND even the roof rack lights do light up, it's just that one random bullbar that's broken lol. also i wish i could remove the bullbar entirely, would love to make it look closer to its beta version.

    Took the liberty of taking some photos of this "new" truck, @WildBrick142 you can use these if you want to. I was surprised with how well this truck drives, I'm definitely picking it up when it comes on sale. I find it stupid how the truck bed only fits two players, there's clearly room for 4 players there. Handling is surprisngly sharp even though the truck also feels heavy, 180 turns on gravel are no problem to it, can also pickup some decent speed unlike the Vapid Winky. And now for the interior, which surprised me the most: Unique seats There are three pull up buttons there by steering wheel, "throttle" which I assume is to help start the car, "lights" for the headlights and taillights, and a "choker" for those rough cold starts, I also liked how the dashboard isn't lazily copied and pasted from another car, its unique. Readable tags withing the driver-side door, there are two other tags by the gauges but they aren't readable.

    So, The Cayo Perico Heist, a.k.a. "the biggest update ever" for GTAO is finally out! Since I'm not playing GTAO that much in recent years, I don't have anything to say about the Heist itself, clothing options and whatnot. Let's focus on the vehicular additions... Just like past updates, R* apparently took notes from cars made by the community, sketches and 3D models. As much as I liked the selection from this update, I was expecting more, to be honest. Here's my "review" on the vehicles added on this DLC, again showcasing my boring customization taste. Some pictures are from GTA Wiki. BF Weevil Dinka Verus Dinka Veto Classic and Dinka Veto Modern Grotti Brioso 300 Grotti Itali RSX Kraken Avisa Kurtz 31 Patrol Boat Maibatsu Manchez Scout Mammoth Squaddie Nagasaki Weaponized Dinghy Pegassi Toreador RO-86 Alkonost RUNE Kosatka Shi tzu Longfin Sparrow Vapid Slamtruck Vapid Winky Vetir Western Company Annihilator Stealth Annnnnnd that's a wrap! Let's see what R* have stored to us for the next year... Hopefully we'll see new car manufacturers added to the game, good diversity of models and some oddballs, standard versions of pre-customized cars (like the Annis ZR380), more customization options for existing vehicles and more returning models from past games, especially from GTA IV.

    So I bought it. Yeah it costs a stupid amount of money, but I'm really loving the looks, and it's quite fun to drive. It feels like a 60s Italian GT, ie a fast boat on wheels with heavy steering that's surprisingly grippy. It's a long-distance cruiser through and through, so don't expect to win races in it, or even try to do any drifting in it (it just refuses to go sideways). There's a slight bit of understeer, but I'd say it's more forgiving than the Infernus Classic when cornering. The Stromberg always felt stiff to drive to me, from the acceleration to the handling. Not the case here, and I can forgive the rehashed Infernus engine note in this one, which I felt never really fit the Stromberg. The customization is certainly more interesting than what the Stromberg has to offer, and unlike that one, I don't feel the need to change the stock wheels on the Toreador, which are just perfect. I kept the stock red paint to keep a more Espada-ish look than Marzal, with a little help from LSC. Oh and did I mention that you can drive it with Passive Mode on? Maybe R* forgot about it being a weaponized sub lol.

    So why the heck did you do the preps that literally weaken the enemies, if you wanted them to be tough in the first place? Also, how the heck is a safe in the basement a bad thing? You complained about how the heist feels more like a waste of time, then you suggest "complications" that feels to me like more stuff that waste your time. Are you complaining just for the sake of it? Or what's the problem here?

    I guess he has two accounts, one gets updated and the cars get loaded on a not-updated offline account as a mod. Unfortunately, i haven't found any new nodes for functionality of the flatbed in the file, but here's the collision mesh of the truck. You can see there is a invisible ramp at the back, so truck can be lowered to the ground, so the cars can drive upon it and being held in place by collision.

    You are correct. On the 2016 leaked map, you can see that The Grizzlies has "(intro)" under it. That means that the intro was always planned. That proves that there wasn't a cut Blackwater heist mission, yet people still insist there was.

    Reworked my Aftermarket Winky, i'm now trying a more simple yet modified look still similar to early Aftermarket CJ's models. - Nautical Blue Finish, changed both Bumpers to their Stock version, Short Loop Bar, kept the Roof Search Light, stock Hood, kept the Street Exhaust, Rhino Grille (Actually looked better than Billet) and put a Chrome Amazon set of Wheels.

    Why the f*ck did they have to weaponize it? It would have been a perfect classic, but no, they gone and put some boom boom and a useless gimmick, so they can justify the outrageous price tag.
