Just tried out the new heist with randoms and wasn't bad to be honest. I have to say, even though I was playing with randoms, the enemies weren't heavily armoured and were quite easy to deal with. Got rid of enemy reinforcements, armor and weapons supplies with Disruption preps before starting. At one point, some random died and I was totally prepared to see the heist failure message, but it continued on with the heist, which was a nice change to see alongside the soloable part. Overall, I'm liking the new approach to the heist and I'm gonna focus more on the soloable part. Sure, you don't earn much, but getting about one million all for myself is good for me.16 points -

How woudl I rate this DLC? 3/10 The heist is a pure example of adding as much unfun elements in orer to drag it out longer than it should. Forcing us to launch preps from subs serves only to waste our time. Makin the island a pain in the ass to navigate during scoping serves to waste our time along with hiding items to the point it's night impossible to spot them and you have to take random photos like an idiot to... waste your time. The heist has the abosulte gall to taunt you with a huge scondary take but seeing how we can only carry around 350K of loot in our lootbags or so I fail to see how a 4 man team could score up to 4 million takes the heist end screen taunts us with. And even then, bringing friends will probably not make you more money unless you screw them and give them minimum cut which is bad practice encouraged by Rockstar. Also, I spent so long creating fitting outfits for the heist only to get forced outfits. f*ck off! Toreador looked nce, but has been defiled with weaponization and sub memes. If you brake hard on the ground your hairstyle clearly clips through the front window. Big Bomber plane is a joke beause Rockstar actually balanced it because God help us if a slow, hughe easily shot down plane is a little powerful. Meanwhile Oppressors gotta oppress with impunity. Performance is sh*t. Are Rockstar expecting us to have NASA Supercomputers? Not even an RTX 9090 would run this smoothly without the fan going into hyperdrive. Big F to all console players right here. Rocktar also playtested these missions with severely reduced guard numbers and special easy difficulty they have acess to or something like that. Dripfeed cars are the only reason this DLC doesn't get a 0/10. LSSS was better than this because it actually not only gave us more cars, it actually gave us more garage space than cars. That sh*t is TOP SHELF. This is under bottom shelf sh*t. Ta-da! Perfect review. And if your reply to this is "ERPADERP IT's FREE STOP COMPLAINING REEEEE!" kindly go away. By even thinking that you've proved to everyone you are stupid. You are so stupid you couldn't get more stupid. I'm right, you're wrong. Shut up. Rockstar screwed up big time and we don't need stupid shills protecting them over this. They will let these bad glitches stay in this game because they stop people from making money. But Master control Terminal being usable in Invite Only? Fix that within 12 Hours!13 points -

Ok so the research has been done, and put in spoilers below. Let's get on with it! What you need? Nothing but a Submarine, but i would also recommend buying the Sparrow. You can land your MKII Oppressor on the submarine, but it usually slides off and gets destroyed, so the Sparrow is worth the purchase. It sits right beside the heist room, and you can tap right on the D-Pad to auto dock it back into the submarine. Also modify it in the sub with missiles. Step 1. Gather intel (15-20 minutes total) - Go to X location. Simple enough, just fast travel your submarine to the closest place for $2000. Take out the guards, steal the Velum and fly - Sneak to the communications tower. I won't lie, I literally just run to it. Vehicles could be used, but with the god awful foliage, I found it more hassle than enough. I basically run through the gate at the checkpoint, then straight to the Comms tower through the middle of the map. - Vault target. So far I've had: Pink Diamond - 1.3 million Madrazo files - 1.2 million (original heist) Bearer bonds - 1.1 million Ruby necklace - 1 million Sansito Tequila - 900,000 (Possible others. Will add accordingly) You can also go right again to the next 2 cameras to see if there are any paintings in the upper office. If there is 2 of them, then thats arguably the best result, but if there is one, or even none, never fear! Once that's done, it's time to leave, and the easiest way? Get caught! It will spawn you back at the airstrip, and quickly get back to Los Santos. Step 2. Approach Vehicle (5-10 minutes) Submarine Kosatka You have to go to the Merryweather test site, so fast travel the sub up to one of the two assigned locations at the top of the map. For me it was Procopio Beach. Great tip from @Inked. is once you fast travel to near the Merryweather site, drive your submarine closer to the marker! I was swimming from the point of spawn adding more time. Now it's 5 minutes with a close spawn of the sonar jammer, and closer to 10 if you have to traverse all levels of the sub. Equip your scuba gear (or use a purchased Avisa, but I'd advise against it since it's far too slow), and get to the waypoint under the water. You will board the Merryweather submarine, and once there, guards will just eat your health and armour in the typical R* fashion so check your corners! These guards sometimes don't appear on the mini-map and will one shot kill you. Get the jammer and get back to your sub. You have to enter above water, so pray the aimbots don't get you. Unless there's a way to swim into it underwater which I don't know about. Step 3. Prep (40-50 minutes total) 2.1 -Demolition Charges (10 minutes) So much thanks to @Acebats for this next tip! You don't need this AT ALL! It's a prep mission that becomes redundant with doing the Cutting Torch mission. That mission is so much easier and shorter than having to take on the O'Neil's! 2.2 - Safe Code/Plasma Cutter (10 minutes) The safe code is at the Diamond Casino, so fast travel the sub to North Palomino Highlands, and fly your Sparrow to outside of the casino car parking garage. Head inside, and if you own a penthouse, take the lift up (I own one, and I am not sure what happens if you don't. If you know, please reply!). Once up there, silently take out the guards at the door to keep things under the radar. Or, go in all guns blazing. Find the guy Pavel messages you a photo of, then exit the building. You should have a 2 star wanted level, but as long as you parked at the casino garage entrance, just get in and fly back to the sub. The cops should be off you by then. The plasma cutter is in a safe house. It was in La Mesa for me. Fast travel to the nearest spot and enter the safehouse. Inside will be empty since this is a heist crew already on the job. Take a photo of a clue and send to Pavel so he can find them. Once they are located, go and take them out, grab the cutter and bring it back to the sub. 2.3 - Fingerprint Cloner (5 minutes) Vespucci Beach is the best fast travel, since you need to get to a warehouse in the centre of Los Santos. Once there, kill the camera via the small box with a red handle on the side. Inside, take out the guards (I used a sticky bomb just to the right of the guard in front) and hack the laptop. Go to the next location, and shoot the 2 cameras outside. Once inside, look around the white tables on the left for the keycard. Don't worry, there's no guards to annoy you this time. Head back to the sub and that's that. 2.4 - Cutting torch (5 minutes) This can spawn at a few locations in Los Santos I believe, so best off leaving your sub as Vespucci Beach. It's not hard. Fly to the location, and search the construction site. Stealth run around guards searching the small boxes for the cutting torch. If you find a hard hat, put it on. Once you get it, head back to the sub. Easy. 2.5 - Weapons (5-10 minutes) You can choose whatever load out you prefer! It doesn't really matter since we will be taking headshots and meleeing anyways. But make sure to buy the suppressor option! This is a must. The mission itself is straightforward enough. You have to go to one of the given office buildings around Los Santos. The interior will always be the same. Land your Sparrow on the roof and head inside. Simply take out the guards, hack the laptop to unlock the gun locker (left wall pillar behind the laptop), and take the weapons. Another mission is to tail a Merryweather Valkyrie to a drop point. This can take longer as it flies half way up the map. Ugh. Anyways, once this is done, head back to the sub. It's time to heist! Step 4. Heist (10 - 15 minutes total) Now all of the hard work is done, let's get paid. First off, NO DETECTION. No alarms. That's an absolute given. In and out silently. If you get caught, just die. You will not survive. Our approach is as follows: Approach Vehicle - Kosatka Infiltration Point - Drainage Tunnel Compound Entry Point - Drainage Tunnel Escape Point - Main Dock Time of Day - your preference Weapon Loadout - your preference No support crew needed Once you spawn in, swim past the mines, and use the cutting torch on the grate in the tunnel. Once you spawn into the map, do a 180, and take the first right. This should bring you to the steps of the office building which lead up to the left (use the keypad symbol for guidance. Melee any guards you encounter, take a headshot, to even leave some if they wont notice you. Once into the office, if you got a painting or 2 on the camera feed, then cut them out for your first cash in the bag. 1 painting will fill half of it. 2 will max it out obviously. There is a secret safe also in this room. Just go to the wall with the family photos on it, and you should get the prompt. Next, hack the keypad, which are a bit easier than the Diamond Casino Heist fingerprints. Get into the vault. and get your item, then leave the same way you got in. Get to the main gate with a mixture of stealth and kill anyone you feel you need to. After the cutscene of you leaving, run straight towards the red marker on the map. His back is to you so take a free headshot. The next two guards to the right you can headshot, but i prefer to spring up and melee them. There will be a bike to the left pillar here, so watch the camera and leave on it (they open the barrier for you, how nice). Outside you are basically looking to go straight, but head more to the right rather than dead straight, to avoid the cones of the guards. El Rubio will also be in a chopper but he has never came close to me yet. Once you are done avoiding the steel trees, get down to the Main Dock, and take out any guards you see fit. If you haven't filled your loot bag yet, look in the huts where loot does spawn in this section. See the video below for the locations. Once that's done, make sure all the guards who could spot you on your way out are taken out, and leg it in one of the boats. Don't worry too much about the patrolling guards on the boats. As long as you are a bit of distance from them, you should be good. Just drive the boat out to sea until the cutscene kicks in. There's also another route, as seen in the video below by @BeatsDown https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aa5_-XlQUnY So that's that. If you get used to it all, and stay within the faster times for each, you can clear close to 1.5 million every 90 minutes (barring end of heist cooldown). Of course there are other methods to do the heist, possibly quicker too, when it comes to the heist itself. But i wanted to try and get the quickest and easiest from start to finish. All scope out and prep inclusive. I wanted to get something like this made also, to compare it with the Diamond Casino Heist, since people are wondering which they should do. Well, for me, the Diamond Casino Heist is a bit more fun to both set up and do, but when it comes to money making solo, it can be hit and miss. Taking into consideration all of the effort of finding lobbies and being kicked, or getting a randomer into help with your artwork run who messes it up etc. this is the better method for strictly grinding money solo. I agree that some people are overreacting but you really need to put this into context. Rockstar hyped this as the biggest update EVER. Now imagine you're the type of person who doesn't enjoy heisting and plays on a last-gen console, what does this update include for you? 8 cars, a submarine (if you have the money), some bug fixes, new music and the occasional little side quest. I'm not surprised people are pissed off. And neither should you be... Also there's a slight difference between "butthurt" and "disappointed"11 points -

It's not truly "free" though, you either pay for it with your time (by grinding purposely tedious, boring and repetitive missions over and over) or with your money (by spending real money into overpriced pretend money with low buying power). Furthermore, even if said DLC was truly free, that doesn't mean that it's free of any criticism either (pun intended), even more when it's actually deserving of said criticism. And no, don't confuse being dissatisfied with being ungrateful, if anything, we're not obligated in any way whatsoever to be grateful to any company ever. Wow, condescending much? I would expect this kind of mentality from firstname bunchofnumbers who just joined the forum 4 days ago, not from an actual moderator of this site who, no offense, but should know way better. But meh, not the first time I've seen such behaviour from the leadership on this site either.11 points -

I do enjoy playing everything, especially the non-profitable parts. I am not a collector. I barely have any money in game. But it's a lot of effort/time to complete a heist when you have to work/family to take care of in real life. So that leaves the cars. I am a big car guy, and they are my primary reason for playing. Modifying, racing, customizing, driving, and photographing cars is what I love to do in GTA. I would rather rob a gas station in a brand new badass car than complete a heist with old cars/forced vehicles just to have money at the end...to spend on nothing. While there are indeed a few gems in the small dripfeed we are going to get, it still leaves me with an empty hollow update. I will play it of course, and I will likely enjoy it, but the first time will probably the last time for me. Just like the Casino Heist, Ionly did that once. The cars give me the reason to keep coming back. /shrug9 points -

i thought i explain the manhunt arcade again. it isn´t dripfeed. it was cut. it seems to be almost finished. all assets and even the script is all there. just the arcade machine itself isn´t. so i am certain the next update will fully add the manhunt arcade game. it seems to be basicly a re-skin of the western game we already have, just in Manhunt theme. it even has a trophy already. so i am certain it will be added in the next update. and we have of course leftovers of a another cut arcade game. but that is not finished yet. like no script or enemy sprites just the 3d level models. the game seem to have been called "exploder3d" when looking at the texture name. from the models it seems to be very similiar to doom. so maybe a parody to doom. so they planned to add 2 new arcade games. they just probs weren´t able to finish it. we also found leftovers over axe of fury in the casino heist files, and it got added with the summer special. so we now have leftovers of those 2, so we will probs have them in the next update9 points -

Also, I gotta say one of the most under rated features (given how I rarely see it discussed even on the subreddit etc) is how the game handles conversations dynamically. For example there's a side quest where you're talking to someone behind a counter and some lady is shouting at you for skipping the line, if you ignore her you don't get any option to speak but if you look at her you get dialogue options to respond to her. Another example is I had a chat during a main quest earlier and once done I stood near her for a bit and it opened up some conversation options, which got me a lil bit more info. As I walked away the character also called me back for something, but I could've continued walking away if I liked as it was not part of the quest at all. Also, there's little side quests that from what I can tell open up only after seemingly filler conversation. There's a food vendor that I talked to a day or two ago and I happened to be in the area again tonight and I could sit down and a little story quest played out. The game throws a lot of content at you without you doing anything but there is definitely a fair bit of stuff hidden out there too.9 points -

I've been waiting and hoping for GTA VI for at least as long as everyone else, but after todays update ... you can keep it, Rockstar. I'm just not interested at this moment to play any more of their games. GTA V has been beaten to absolute death, I'm sick of it and the direction they are heading it seems they will continue to milk that 7 year old game. Go ahead, but without me. It completely destroyed my interest in VI. They won't get better. They're past that. GTA VI/O2.0will probably be the same sh*t as V/O1.0. They won't learn. They will just do whatever they want to. You're right. It doesn't. I'm here to tell you that on a more recent version of the game (MPSum) it actually doesn't drive much better than that video earlier demonstrates. It doesn't bounce around near as much, no, but it doesn't feel right either. Just as I thought. I'm sorry- what was that? "anecdotal evidence to sound knowledgable" my ass. This thing hesitates and overall feels very weird to drive (mainly in the way it rides). Reminds me of the Coquette, just as I thought. It's not very good, and feels very slow. And for 3.4 million, that's unacceptable. It boggles my mind that they had the nerve to charge that much for this thing. Yeah shes a beauty, and it sounds great too. But it doesn't drive the part. It's not as bad as the Itali GTO can be but it just feels slower. And, with my supposedly "anecdotal evidence" and "lack of knowledge" I dived into the handling.meta to change some sh*t up and what do you know? It drives much better now. What a shocker! But I guess I know nothing right? ' I'll cut it out with the pettiness. I know what tf I'm doing. Focusing on the car. Steering is sharp and quite excellent. But it feels like its in serious need of torque. It isn't boring however so that's good. And the looks. Well, yeah. As you can see... it looks amazing. I love it. And its unique wing is a cool feature. I think I'm going to really like this car. I don't think I would in GTA:Online however, and that's a shame. Seeing that it's intended for that version of the game to begin with. 3.4 million dollars for very mediocre performance is just lunacy. If you want a car that looks good, a mid-engine Grotti that doesn't look over the top and looks more like a mid-range super car, this is it. If you've got money to burn then blow it. It'll definitely stand out. It is a very good looking car. But that's about it.8 points -

I see people dissing the update... I don't get it. I really like it so far. I've done around half the setup missions (btw they added new ways of solving those) and i loved scouting the island on foot. Sure the Island is not free roamable. But after seeing the structure i can understand why. They made it just for the heist like they did with North Yankton. Even if you could roam the island (which you can always do by scouting the island) what is there to do? Not much. I was really bummed we didn't get any new arcade minigames (Rockstar promised they would add more) but i try to look at the bigger picture. In my book the update is a success. Is it my favourite? Probably not (casino heist was the best for me) But that doesn't mean it's bad.8 points -
