Yeah, now I'm expecting 4 - 6 GB of the update is solely music. Update RPF file is currently sized at 1 GB, assuming we would have to download it again, that raises it up to 7 GB. Then, count in all the new assets for the island, it easily goes over 10 GB. I'm not sure why I was expecting the update size to be around 10 - 15 GB, but now it's very much likely to go higher than that.12 points -

STILL SLIPPING LOS SANTOS, KULT FM AND THE MUSIC LOCKER COMING TO THE RADIO DIAL
ten-a-penny and 10 others reacted to IceDree for a topic
STILL SLIPPING LOS SANTOS, KULT FM AND THE MUSIC LOCKER COMING TO THE RADIO DIAL Plus Extensive Updates to FlyLo FM and Worldwide FM in Grand Theft Auto Online’s Biggest Ever Musical Update Alongside the grand opening of The Music Locker and its new slate of resident DJs, GTA Online’s musical universe further expands at the launch of The Cayo Perico Heist with the addition of three new radio stations, as well as brand new mixes arriving on hit stations FlyLo FM and Worldwide FM, for a whopping total of over 250 new tracks, making this the biggest ever musical update to GTA Online. STILL SLIPPING LOS SANTOS UK DJ Joy Orbison has set up shop in Los Santos with hopes of launching his own pirate radio station – Still Slipping Los Santos – out of Mirror Park. Joy is ready to deliver a seamless mix of house, techno, drill and drum-and-bass to the masses – the only problem is he’s having trouble getting a strong enough signal to reach beyond his neighborhood. If he’s going to take his sound city and statewide, he’s going to need some help getting started. Keep an eye out for opportunities to support your local disc-jockey on December 15th. KULT FM 99.1 Tune in, turn on and space out to the sounds of Kult FM, hosted by Julian Casablancas of The Strokes and The Voidz. The guestlist is star-studded, with appearances from Mac DeMarco, David Cross and Tony Mac, and the station’s playlist spans from the Madchester sounds of Joy Division, New Order and A Certain Ratio to heavy throwbacks from Danzig, the Velvet Underground and Iggy Pop, and everything in between, plus the world exclusive premiere of a new track from The Voidz called “Alien Crime Lord.” THE MUSIC LOCKER Later this December, The Music Locker will debut its own radio station, bringing the sets and sounds of the hottest new club in Los Santos above ground and onto the airwaves. Featuring mixes from Keinemusik, along with genre-defying sets from Palms Trax and Moodymann, The Music Locker will be the go-to destination for house, disco and techno. FLYLO FM Grammy nominated producer and Los Santos beatmaker supreme, Flying Lotus is back with an all-new mix added to rotation on FlyLo FM, featuring guest appearances from Tierra Whack plus new tracks from Madlib, brand-new material from FlyLo himself, MF DOOM and a bunch of rare, exclusive and amazing surprises. WORLDWIDE FM Globally renowned DJ, Gilles Peterson returns to add a new mix of New London Jazz, disco and world music for Worldwide FM featuring tracks from Kamasi Washington, Khruangbin, BADBADNOTGOOD and MF DOOM plus many, many more. To keep the returning stations feeling fresh and to give everyone a chance to find some new favorites, FlyLo and Worldwide FM will be bumping the all-new mixes and tracks only for a period after launch, with the classics mixed back in over time. Stay tuned to the Rockstar Newswire for the latest news on GTA Online music and The Cayo Perico Heist – coming December 15th.11 points -

Kult FM sounds amazing and I actually like Julian Casablancas so that should be very interesting. Also Mac DeMarco. Now we're talkin. I think I'll love that station A LOT. Still Slipping COULD be good but idk who that guy is and they could easily pick mediocre music from those genres so I'll have to wait and see. The Music Locker sounds like more mediocre After Hours style stuff. I'd like to be wrong but meh, I don't care for it so far. Nothing like EFLC Vladivostok or Electroshoc I'm sure. FlyLo FM update? Yeah no. Worldwide FM update? I actually liked this station in 2013, but the music they added with the enhanced PS4/XB1 version is crap so I don't expect anything better this time around. But really, Kult FM is sounding very good and different and Still Slipping could be very good too. I'm a bit more excited for sure. But still... I need to see more cars.11 points -

Have faith my fellow motorheads, this is the year end update, there will be lots of expensive vehicles and cars for little billy to spend his holiday gift cards on. I keep seeing AH being mentioned, that was a summer update and the amount of cars wasn’t even that bad. Worst thing about that update was the handling flags ruining all of the cars.11 points -

So what are you asking for, exactly? GTA6? If that's what you are asking. Well, hit titles require a ton of effort and that translates to more time needed and sustainable income to afford the costs. RDR2 was the 'main focus' title between 2013 - 2018, and the development of the next GTA title must have started at some point within that period, but Rockstar wouldn't drop it right after releasing RDR2, so the realistic expectation would have been an announcement this year and possible release next year or early 2022, but you already know what happened this year. It delayed the development process by one year or two and it would've happened regardless of whether GTAO was getting support or not.11 points -

The Cayo Perico Heist - Trailer 2
PH Ukracheski and 8 others reacted to Mister Pink for a topic
Hate to be negative but I'm going to share what I think. This looks like more generic GTAO fodder. All the trailers are in the same style. It's a bit corny. This looks really uninspired. The only thing that keeps me mildly interested is new piece of map. Other than that it's the same generic-junk, pop-culture, trendy and vapid nonsense deserved of the 'new GTA fan' with credit card in one hand for those shark cards, while drool is dripping on to the other hand as he grips his cock controller like it's the last game on Earth. Not for me. Think I'm done with GTA. Wake me if GTA VI is anything of a return to form, not just another cynical exercise on pumping freemium content out there to stimulate the rip-off Shark-Card economy.9 points
