Lol, the GTAO article got yeeted. The timing was weird to be honest, it's been in preparation for over 6 hours, so definitely something prepared for Thursday or Friday.

Now that both RDO articles are live, the remaining article in preparation is for GTAO.

I know as much as you do, in fact, I just knew about this thanks to you. As far as I can tell, it's probably an automated article set to go live any day of this week cause the timing is weird. I'm guessing maybe Thursday, since today is all focused on RDO's new update, but I would to see them prove me wrong and tease GTAO details too.

The perfect analogy for this would be a bus ride -Our bus is the cool bus with air conditioning and a working bathroom where everyone is sleeping and passing time while we arrive to our destination -The other bus is basically the bus where one of the kids had diarrhea and shat himself while another one threw up, all of this combined with a broken bathroom and a blazing sun only making the smell worse Thank god we rode the bus to Cayo Perico.

Just remember this, unlike RDO, for GTAO's biggest DLC this year and ever, we already got: two in-game teasers one short video teaser one announcement/reveal teaser trailer a full announcement, promising us a SOLOABLE heist update with new tactical weaponry, over 100 songs on new radio stations, an entire new location which is a freaking narco island, and promises of a submarine HQ and NEW social spaces heist challenge and its' upcoming rewards And all that before the update dropped. Before RDO's update we got "hey we're going standalone, also oh oh oh new bounty hunter missions and equipment, buy gold, bye!". Sorry if I left anything out. Also to be fair, we can't really compare RDO and GTAO's December 2020 updates. RDO got a..."expansion" of an existing role which could've been done well but was done pretty poorly. GTAO is getting "the biggest update ever".

I have been a strong supporter of Red Dead Online since it came out. It's been one of my top favorite games of all time. I bought the Ultimate Edition and the one time gold offer for myself. I've gotten other friends into it and I've purchased them gold to get their accounts a good starting boost. I wanted it to turn into the best game ever. But it's become clear to me after this update that Rockstar has no idea how to handle online games. The Dailies changes are a slap in the face. The Outlaw Pass rewards are garbage. Having to pay gold to continue a role we already have is slimy. I've played RDO almost every day since the beta started, but I'm legitimately giving up after this update. I'm so disappointed that they've squandered what should have been an amazing game and a huge money maker for them.

It's pretty amazing when you have zero expectations, and they somehow still manage to offend you. This "update" is genuinely horrific.

How would you gain any cash when those customers are actually are slaves in Marcel's Sex Dungeon.

The way RDO has been going over the past two years, I fear what they're gonna do to GTAO/GTA VI in the near future...

Just a little update. There's now a version 3.5.6 out! This includes the rest of @Son Of Big Boss's vehicles, which should complete the entire beta vehicles set & fill the streets with lovely colours too. Mesa Grande has also now been renamed to Desperado and Blista Compact to Blista GPX. This small update also includes a bug-fix for Little Haiti Chopper Checkpoint & few new optionals, including GTA3 replacements of the Zebra Cab, Police Chopper & Patriot. For those that have already installed the modification, you can download a small update package via the Updater.exe in the main folder. I just belly laugh everytime I see someone think that GTA Online slows down GTA 6 by any margin. Money that Take2 makes with GTAO is miniscule compared to the potential money they would earn releasing GTA 6. The hard to swallow truth is: GTA 6 IS JUST NOT DONE YET! Really just be patient, RDR2 took also ungodly amount of time to develop and I wouldn't be surprised if Rockstar wants to top both RDR2 and GTA V combined. Another point y'all should take in mind is the separation of GTA Online and GTA V. If they want to have continues cash flow they can just carry on with GTAO without any impact for GTA 6. Not only we don't have dry patch of content for 7+ years, they can also see what sticks and what doesn't. Why do you think Handling Flags exist? Where do you think Cayo Perico model comes from?

Guys we seriously need to boycott rockstar. They are becoming the exact type of corporation that they make fun of in video games. Cant believe this is even a update. They make so much money off of shark cArds, why did they have to tweak the gold system? Surely they werent losing out on anything. How has it been this long without giving us new clothing and from the looks of the season 5 pass, the clothing is only going to get worst and unrealistic. Wish the clothing options were a little more appropriate and grounded in reality. I soon uninstall this game... they are just trolling us at this point

Red Dead Online has never done well on Twitch so it's no surprise it has low viewers on there but one look at the community will tell you that there's little to no hype for this update at all especially because it's coupled with nerfs to long standing gold making methods. What's sad about it all is that they could turn this into the most hyped up update they've ever done for RDO with one simple change, private lobbies. and character transfers ofc

At this point if R* said they added private/invite lobbies I'd give it 10/10 But that is 100% never going to happen due to... *checks notes* ...corporate greed. So... the game will remain dead AF for me.

I dont play RDR Online and even I think that stuff is pathetic. It saddens me that they are butchering their own IP and I feel sorry for the select few who still bother with it. Am I surprised? No not really. I pretty much called it prior to the release because I just could not see them doing it properly with the limits that the games time period has. What I did not see was them being even greedier with cheaply produced content. I thought about getting the 5$ online version and having some fun with a buddy but nah, I think I'll pass. Sneaky Edit

I hope the cayo perico dlc is indeed the biggest one yet and not a disappointment. I am a little worried after the RDO dlc.... Gta is the golden goose so i want to remain optimistic.

This game is going to die off sooner than it should, and it's all owing to stupidity and piss-poor management.
