    In my opinion LC is not as big as we think, Rockstar can also add ghost town from gta 3 (Ghost town includes Liberty City Bank (which was robbed once by Claude and Catalina on gta 3) (2001), The liberty City bank heist will be so suitable.     Officially, we know that Rockstar has announced new Heists in an entirely new location - this location could essentially be anything, but rumours has it that this location is an island. In fact, moderators have changed the GTA Online sub-forum icon multiple times to accomodate said rumours: #1 (Background showing a Google image of Catalina Island) #2 (A nod to the 2000 film "Cast Away" that takes place on a tropical island) That is all we know of at the moment - that is if we exclude all the cut police files found in the latest DLC.

    Just saying last year we 1) didn’t get confirmation on the theme of the update til end of November (fun saying it was heist related testing going on) and 2) didn’t get a tease til early December. Everyone keeps bringing up the point “biggest update ever” well rockstar last summer added “ the biggest Entertainment complex” to Los Santos and still kept their mouths shut about it for a month and a half between tease and real big announcement. They kept us fed info wise with what they said in July because plans changed, doesn’t mean their normal silence will be broken this time around

    they are not going to split the player base by charging for a map expansion that only some people will buy, they make more than enough off microtransactions, I don't even think they are going to charge for the standalone GTaO. the way it's worded I think the 3 months is PS exclusivity but it will continue to be free once it is available on all platforms

    I am a game developer, have been since 1982... and sorry to put it bluntly but you're talking nonsense. There is no such thing as a bug that can't be fixed, there is always a way to fix a bug and nothing in the way the scripting is done for this game is so complex that it makes it impossible to fix anything. I spend hours looking through the scripts while I am writing SP mods and their mission choices are typically nothing more than: Edit: That was probably a bit harsh and I apologise for that if that's how it seemed. But you have to understand how frustrating it can be to watch people tell others how games work, when those people don't actually understand how games work. So what's the solution? case 1: switch (iParam1) { case 0: case 1: return joaat("CUBAN800"); break; } break; There is now no Titan mission and all it took was a slight restructuring to Case 1 for iParam0:.The input code has no reason to change, the output code has no reason to change and the only consequence is that you get the Cuban 800 for every plane mission. That is precisely how simple it can be to remove an option from being chosen. That was from the am_mp_warehouse.c script by the way. At the very worst case scenario, you have to change the input params one level up in the function call chain. Mission choices are never complex because you don't programme complexity into simple choices. Not every bug in a game is deep-rooted below endless chains of function calls, that break everything connected to them. The only thing that typically stops a bug from being fixed, is a lack of knowledge that the bug exists, an unwillingness to fix the bug, or a lack of competence to fix the bug.. They know the bug exists, they have known for years that it exists and yet they choose to fix money glitches and exploits, which will be far more complex than removing or fixing that mission... go figure.

    If your only experience is from the modding side of things, then you're not working on the same level, because you will always be at the mercy of the codebase of the game you're modding. Just because you can't fix things with the limited access that modding gives you, doesn't mean something can't be fixed. There's also no reason to believe that fixing the Titan bug would be much more complex that disabling the mission... but why bother fixing something that costs time and money, when you can just refund money that people have lost, which costs zero time and money? That's the Rockstar mentality and it's why the only thing their support are any good at, is pressing the Refund button. Bugs deter people from the doing the mission, less people doing the mission = less bug reports... problem solved. If you don't sell crates because of a bug, they don't care. No, because despite how deep through the chain they affect things, if you fix them, then you fix what happens down the chain. No developer worth any salt writes code that relies on bugs being present to work. Making something work properly, isn't going to break anything... unless the person writing the code is a complete idiot. And even if that's the case, it isn't an excuse for not fixing it. Bugs are nothing more than a set of unforeseen circumstances and/or actions that manipulate your code in unexpected ways. If you know how it's being manipulated, then you can cater for it, or protect your code against it. That's why QA exists, because they are disconnected from the creation side, so they have no knowledge of how things *should* function. They test without preconceptions and that's how you want QA to work. If you test your own code, you typically test with a bias towards doing things "the right way" and that stops you from finding any bugs other than those that are blatantly obvious..But again, why report a bug to a support team that can't think beyond "Do you need a refund?". I have tried it numerous times and you might as well be telling your pet cat about a bug. Anyway, this isn't a tech-thread, so I am going to end my input here. If you want to continue to believe you are correct, then go ahead... but that won't alter the reality of how games (and bugs) work. And don'r presume that Rockstar;'s inaction over a bug is any indication of its complexity or far-reaching effects. They don't care, if it doesn't affect their profits... period. Their uncanny ability to patch money-making bugs within 24 hours proves that to be correct. Do you honestly believe they can do that and not fix a simple mission bug? I maintain my stance, there is no bug that can't be fixed, especially if you know what causes the bug to occur. If anything I have said offends anyone, then I apologise but sometimes the truth is bitter tasting to those who don't want to hear it. I'm not looking for an argument or a debate, but feel free to "let me have it" if you so desire. Moderators: Sorry if my comments have derailed the thread, I deliberately try and avoid interaction with the people on here for this reason. Feel free to delete anything and everything I have posted if that maintains the status-quo better... no offence will be taken if that happens.

    personally my guess regarding the DLC support is a preperation for the expanded and enhanced version or the standalone GTAO version. if it´s for the standalone GTAO version, then maybe it is just used for the Story mode. like if you have the standalone GTAO version, that you would be able to buy the story mode after via a "DLC" or it is for expanded and enhanced bonus content that would be able to be purchased on PC for a small price.

    What are the first things you'll do in GTA VI?

    I'll just hop in the car and turn on the radio hoping for it to have a good 80s as the first song in free roam, then just drive around the city taking it all in, maybe encounter some random events on the way, get a haircut, things like that. If it's night time, then I'll just admire the beauty of neon lights and their reflections on roads and the cars using Ray Tracing. Drive all around the city and then maybe walk around and see how dynamic the NPCs are!

    All of the LC map (IV version) is roughly the same size as LS in GTA V/Online. But in real life Los Angeles is about 450-500 square miles, while Catalina island is roughly 76 square miles. I have no idea what kind of scale R* would go for if they did that, but considering they tend to cram landmarks into their maps somewhat accurately and so forth, CI just seems like a lousy location to me. They would really need to trim the "fat" off it to work IMO. Most of us already don't go outside of the city in GTAO. We don't need more of that unusable/boring/quantity-over-quality space to fill out the game's landmass. And another possible golf course, some beaches, one or two small towns... after over 7 years of waiting? They better be the most awesome and interactive ones ever. Everybody's obviously entitled to their own opinions respectively. I do want a map expansion, but I want a good one. An interactive and interesting one. More cityscape, more towns, real and dynamic woods, etc. If R* really goes with CI, then I hope they prove me wrong and knock it out of the park. But personally I rest my case that it's an underwhelming location to base it off with this:

    I was doing my daily challenges and tried to do a P.L.A event, and like the last 3 times ... (They killed other 5 players before the end of the event). Man ... i want to know what's the point of this ... i can understand the fellas griefing on a Condor Egg event, even on a Savage event, but in this event, a pure PVE event like Trade Route... There's also the fellas which kills your target in Day of Reckoning/Manhunt events. Man, since the return of the higher-capacity players lobbies, i'm finding myself engaging against more players and for me ... feels worse than it was before the smaller player-count servers. (At least there are some friendly fellas chillin' and roaming around again). FR events, some of them are a hell, at least there was some fellas which roughed up against two griefers on a P.L.A event yesterday, if i wasn't sleepy and pissed, i should had recorded ... it was beautiful. (Still my thanks to the three unknown fellas of a posse which helped against the griefers). Yet still a hell.

    ok, for anyone saying the coming expanded and enhanced version is a cash grab, they do the version bc they NEED to. i mean have you watched the video of Gtamen for example and how terrible the performence is on the current gen consoles? take 2 won´t let them drop support for GTAO, and that means they need to re-release it on the next gen, if they don´t want to console players reach single digit fps in like a year.
