There's 1 thing I really like about GTA V's map, and that is landscapes.

Community: Small tropical island is the most logical solution for the new location! R*: Islands mk2! edit: I would love another hangar that lets you store not only aircrafts but also other vehicles as well. Just replace the cargo part with a 10-20 vehicle garage. They could even use that place to make I/E part 2 where you steal all kinds of vehicles, not only cars.

I wouldn't mind a new island. But I do believe they could revamp Palomino Highlands.. I personally wish we get this. Especially when you consider that almost no missions in free roam take place there. Maybe (if I remember correctly) one bunker sell mission involving Marshalls. I think it would look pretty good. There is steep terrain that could accommodate "house in the hills" - mini vinewood hills. Near the water, there could be a promenade with some resorts, a marina too perhaps? In the middle of all of this could be a condensed financial district with a couple of highrises.

It's been a while since I last posted, but I've still been working (albeit very slowly due to real-life commitments) on some of my on-going projects. I recently showcased a school bus mockup, which I have begun to put into action. So far I've completed the basics for three of the 5 LODs, and begun to add details, including rivets, new/improved side runners, a revised color scheme with a paintable roof. I've also made plenty of model changes, added window bars, made more elements metal rather than plastic, increased the wheel arch size, added more depth to the roof, and began to work on improving the underside chassis. It's a huge project but I also hope to give the bus a little customization, turning it into a Figure-8 racer with custom derby liveries and paintjobs would be ideal.

Let’s talk about future garages for our vehicles: Do you think they would add class restrictions? For example, where you could store 30 vehicles but 10 spots would solely be reserved for motorcycles? It may get more players buying motorcycles since I believe players would choose to store cars over motorcycles in their standard garages. Personally, I don’t own many outside of those in my MC clubhouse. Otherwise have the ability to stack cars on different levels like below (F&F Toy Shop) but restrict to smaller vehicles so they can fit. How about a photo studio for cars? Unlike the one in Import/Export source missions, it would be indoors where you can place cars in designated spots and have a green screen to change the background. Hopefully allow for solo / group photos where we can access animations like sitting on the hood or leaning up against it. You can’t get griefed here and would be similar to the Red Dead Online photo studio – nice edition to any future mansions! Lastly how about an underwater garage? With a massive window showing the ocean and its wildlife swimming buy, the lighting would look pretty cool and no where is safer than storing your cars in international waters right? Can access them via a service called Neptune's Bounty (teleport to your garage or access via the docks). I know not practical but it's GTA Online!

I should have kept my original post as it was, but to clarify more, I'm not that much interested in doing it to NPCs, I was more curious why can't we do it between us, the players. To me, that would at least be an initial step in extending "player interaction" to more than just PVP, and lift the bar for the quality of life state of the game. Provides a reasonable motive to approach other players, other than just hanging around them and presumably annoying them in the process.

People found out about the small lobbies and the game now working as it should?

Well, I managed to piece together some parts to make this thing work. It's a zippy little thing, and I can store stuff in the trunk when doing some odd jobs here and there in Grapeseed. Performs a little too well, though. Might consider cleaning it up and apply for that Dusche sponsorship.

Just spent thirty Gold finally customising my two most used long weapons, I don't know how to feel.

Instead of a "Photo Studio for cars" I'd much rather a garage layout 10-25 cars with allocated locations for some motorcycles and a casino podium style centre platform which you can choose to put that one desired vehicle on.

Doing something. At my level I need almost 26,000 xp to level up and I'm not quite half way to 1000. I also ran into 2 modders today. One of them was stupid though. It was just me and him in the lobby and I guess he thought I wouldn't know he was the one who set my horse on fire, especially after I saw his blip jumping from place to place near Flatneck Station. What a putz. Proves what I've always thought about the intelligence level of those people.

Reveal in November consisting of only a newswire post with some cinematic pictures of the heist itself, two pictures of two new cars and some basic information about the update. DLC is released in mid Decemeber, about one or two weeks close to Christmas, trailer is released the day before that. Heist will take place inside a new building, refurbished on top of a old one, maybe the Mile High Club. Heist payout will be somewhere around the 3M up to 5M, you will need to buy a property completely unrelated to it to di the setups, which are done in free roam just like the Cssino Heist.

Maybe it's because I was watching the one from Breaking Bad yesterday, but it'd be cool if they created a train heist that actually involved boarding it for a specific target and bailing out before it reaches its destination, otherwise you need to fight the army expecting the delivery, rather than head on colliding it into another one and running a hastily assembled salvage op to find anything of value. A big problem the mission designers would face is the only railroad in LS is a single ring that goes in either direction, and the issue of how do you offer Casino Heist level of freedom of striking it wherever the hell you want that doesn't turn what's supposed to be your Great Train Robbery into a trivial smash and grab? I could just handwave that off as "It's the Metro, they're a free newspaper that'll print anything". Forgetting them for a second, with the way things have played out in 2020 so far, combined with this new era of actors playing into the role they played in the Grand Theft Auto franchise that GTA V started (even if it hasn't exactly gone anywhere due to the latest release still being GTA V), Ned Luke is the king meme machine when it comes to GTA V rumours and teases. I sure as sh*t would like to see Michael Franklin and Trevor return as a trio since we never got the announced single player DLC's in favour of Online updates, but I'll wait for Rockstar to announce it... remember, we already came seriously close when Fonteno posted that picture of himself in a mocap suit post Heists... things, even of that magnitude, can change.

The cops in V are like the T-1000. The terminator in general comes to mind. Can't be bargained with, can't be reasoned with, and absolutely will not stop.

As far as I know the Naturalist is not an expansion to the Collector and is its own branch. In an interview back in 2019 R* categorized the role branches in capitalism (trader >> moonshine), law activities (bounty hunter >>?), exploration (collector >>?), wildlife (Naturalist) and outlaw activities (?). As they have said themselves, they are still in the formative stages of delivering an array of roles. This holiday we will get extentions and augmentation to an existing role, unlike the Naturalist which was standalone, more similar to moonshine that was an extension of the trader. So a bounty hunter extension is highly likely at this point, evolving the off-shoot of the law aspect of online. Regarding crossplay: As long as R* doesn't announce a separate expanded & enhanced PS5, Xbox Series X|S version of the game, you will play the same game on your new consoles via backwards compatibility. No split servers and no exclusive updates. This makes no sense. Please stop this narrative. It's the same PS4, Xbox One game running on new hardware and it will work for everyone and you still play with everyone. Think of it more like a PC ecosystem. If you buy a new PC and log in to your steam account you can download all your games and play them with everyone. This is how consoles evolve as well with backwards compatibility.

I guess I will share my personal explanation as to why Johnny got killed in V but before that I need to explain one problem of V which is related. The thing is tropes like cameos have been a thing in GTA games but V actually mimics these tropes, it doesn't implement them on its own terms e.g Remember the mission where you fly a plane under the radar? SA has something like that, Remember the time you jump off that same cargo plane? Because SA has that. Remember the time when you rescued Michael from a meat factory? SA has a mission in same kind of location. The part where Trevor is flying towards and back from North Yankton is too similar to how CJ goes to Liberty City. You can talk about giving tribute to SA all you want, but tributes are usually few here and there. No, V tries to mimic SA too much and ends up shallow in the process. That's the reason why cops don't arrest, that's the reason why car physics are messed up. Sure you can say that SA had it better but that's why I use the word mimic here. V developers did not seems to understand that SA's concepts were more due to its limitations of the time, mimicking them would be counterproductive. Heck it's so bad that the whole point of Lamar pointing out Franklin's haircut is the same as when Ryder calls out CJ on it, both occurring in early missions. Because developers were making a checklist of how much they can copy off SA so more and more SA fans can throw their money in because come on, it's a different universe, why must SA be the foundation for V? It doesn't make sense. So let's talk about Johnny. And I think you know where I am going with this. SA also had a cameo, a cameo of protagonist from a previous game i.e Claude! Yes so apparently V developers thought that since SA had it, we need to forcefully shove a protagonist from the previous HD game as well. And since Luis wasn't that well-known and doing this to Niko would cause a riot. They slaughtered Johnny instead. Because they knew if they did this to Niko, they would be doing him dirty because Rockstar exactly knew what they were doing, they were going to butcher a character to highlight Trevor. That's why Ron tries to salvage Johnny through his past accomplishment, that's why the Ammunition guy will say that he liked Johnny. But Rockstar did not care for writing, they only cared how much they can mimic SA and get the money. So yes, SA is one of the reason why Johnny died @Americana. Because we all liked CJ too much, and Rockstar liked our money too much.

I would like to believe that the new heist location is an island mainly because it would open up new possibilities for future updates. They could create a convenient area for mansions on island and I think many people would be glad if they finally added them.

They created a slow paced meditative anti-hero western game, the antithesis of their other property. Their online approach has been: Staple on GTA:O, Western Fashion Show edition. Until Rockstar accept what they built, the gameplay will continue to be dissonant from the online offering. Roles are a reskin of Business Battle etc. They'd be better off talking with the people at State of Decay on building an open world multiplayer sandbox. Follow the linear yellow line to shoot baddies isn't appropriate for this game, because it's not what they built. They built a sandbox and have no clue how to monetize it or incentivize the ADD kiddo's dropping money for shark cards.
