Aside from all of the gameplay benefits of low population lobbies I've been very pleasantly surprised by the character of other players since this started. It does seem to have driven most griefer types away from the game, unsurprisingly, I guess. On the very rare occasion I see another player (which feels like a random event in itself now, which I like) they aren't usually rushing around, usually keep to themselves and sometimes are genuinely friendly. I can't think of a single negative to these small lobbies, the game is stable, I don't get disconnected, there's more to do because everything works as it should and when I do meet another player they aren't a d*ckhead. I can't help but feel like R* could have tried to "fix" small lobbies and have chosen not to. I hope that they just leave it alone.

They literally said before GTA V released they wouldn't do anything on the scale of TLaD & TBoGT again. There are multiple reasons for V's DLC being cancelled. Focus being shifted to get the next-gen versions out, the PC which was delayed, the Leslie Benzies lawsuit, the restructuring of North in the wake of his firing, production on RDR2 taking precedence, and of course GTA Online's demand. It's not as simple as "Rockstar greedy"

In your own words, suck it up. You get a lot more experience from just about everything else in the game so that is a really lame excuse. Now tough guy. Do you use auto aim and PIB? I'm sure you do. Takes a lot of skill, doesn't it? Psht. I bet you also cry "cheater" when you lose a fight. Probably leave the server if it looks like it may happen. How does your lassoo work with players in defensive? It doesn't but I'm sure you think those people are using some kind of cheat. You know, if it's so bad just don't play. I doubt anyone will miss you.

I agree it's bullsh*t that the car is mildly slower than the normal version, but other than that I am very happy with this car. I always wanted a Dukes that I could put drag tires on, and sort of make a street rod type thing, and I think this car does a good job of it, especially when you consider almost every other hot rod or drag racing car in the Muscle class has significantly worse performance. On top of that, even though it is more expensive, I'm glad the price is below $500K, and this is ironic considering we got our first compact that costs over a million dollars in the same update. I respect the Glendale Custom's performance, but I would've never wanted a lowrider version of it, which is why I'm personally downvoting it.

Anyone ever had a car go up in flames because of a sh*tty connection to the rest of the lobby and all players leave at once? Or when you're in a lobby with another player, and the other player lag switches himself out. That's about enough unfairness for me. I don't even have a vehicle warehouse on my new characters, and if I ever get one, it will only be for the Phantom Wedge/Ruiner 2k/ other vehicles that require one, but I will not do I/E again. I run my bunker and nightclub, and I'm sitting on empty and not-upgraded coke and meth business. Edit: plus, I feel that the casino heist has made every hands-on business obsolete anyway (CEO crates, I/E, hangar, doomsday)

Depending on the business, the moment you have a set amount of stock in your business, a countdown begins until a raid happens. For Bunkers it's more than 50% stock, Biker businesses 20% stock and Cargo warehouse 70% stock. And a raid can trigger when a certain time has passed during free roam doing generally nothing and you're either a CEO or MC. MC Business raids are a reason why grinders generally don't like registering as an MC as they can be hit by a raid instantly. Bunker raids I haven't had many of, though. And I've only ever gotten the Valkyrie mission. Gotta make sure no one gets into the heli, or you'll have to shoot it down and lose 50% of your total stock. At least it's better than the bomb defusal one in which you can lose ALL your stock if you fail that. But if you always sell your bunker at 140K (One full supply bar) you'll never get your bunker raided. EDIT: Oh, right. My Own B&M So I've been doing Hangar Crates because I'm bored, and one thing I really f*cking hate is how quickly cancer copters show up and shoot your ass. f*ckin ghell, these assholes appear the instant you pick up a crate (and for the crashed MAverick mission, BEFORE you pick it up) and you take unavoidable damage. WIll you f*ck off, game? The missions are already drawn out to hell as they are (Looking at you, TITAN) and throwing in cheap kilsl is bad game design. At least give 10 seconds before they spawn and shoot us.

You like to bully random players in a video game? And you complain that @StyxTx had an adolescent response to your comment? No, griefers are not as common in this game. But when they do show up, most of the time they have to cheat or worm their way around because they cannot hack it in real game play. All of the ones I've encountered have done so, using the mechanics of the game in a way it was not meant to be used, shooting from cover with a sniper, or trying to pot shot unsuspecting players in the back to get a quick kill. Lol, and the ones that try to lasso me in defensive end up hating the bolas with a passion. You might find that kind of play fun, others find it annoying. Some find it rather boring. So your opinion does not supersede the opinions of the players that don't like any type of "bully" behavior in this game. And given that most pvp players are amongst those who hate true griefing players, should R* pass an honest pvp lawman role, it might make the game a little less fun for the opportunists. It has honestly made meeting the other players in the server more meaningful. I've been able to actually emote the ones we have encountered and had an honest greeting instead of them pushing through town as fast as they could just to get back out of dodge should the next trigger happy fool come around. I did have one in Tumbleweed pull his gun when I approached to get the dig by the church, but I tipped my hat and moved on my way. I think the player was relieved because they did the same and they were gone.

First: Get better at stunting, lol. 10k damage for a stunt fail does suggest you royally messed that one up. Second: Trial and error. Learn the jobs and when stuff spawns, as soon as they spawn, get out of the car and fight them from behind yours or another car/building etc. Third: It's better to sell high end cars instead of low or medium. Fourth: Cargobob. Fifth: When selling, once you drive a few years a from the warehouse and NPC cars do spawn, see the second point and tuck up somewhere and fight on foot from a better position as the NPC's are aiming for you, not the car. Sixth: If plagued by cops, call Lester to remove them. It's 200 bucks per star and better to pay 600 bucks for that than more for damages. You're playing a wild west game & are complaining about how lonely it is saying it's meant to be played with friends. Yeah you can still play with your friends nobody is stopping you, what you expect the population of Times Square in RDR2? Again you're playing a wild west game so these small lobbies are more accurate, go play GTA5 if you want constant griefer stupid sh*t.

Nearly £60 for $8 million in game currency for GTAO. That gets you 2-3 super cars. That is definitely greedy.

I agree with the bottom paragraph, but unfortunately it's a R* online game and we're all too used to it being compromised. GTA:O is compromised in favour of the PvP/griefer element (more so regarding businesses), RDRO currently the opposite. Neither game really offers all playstyles the game they want, only the game R* wants us to play their way. I long for true competition for this company to push them to be more creative, offer much more freedom, and actually address all the petty beta-esque bugs their online games still have. But they've got a stranglehold on things too much and aren't pushed like they need to be to truly deliver. They're so complacent. Although this horsesh*t never fails to entertain, lol. Some really believe everyone should be sheep and think the same, want the same, and be the same. Almost as if 'preference' or 'opinion' are words removed from their vocabulary. Look those two words up young man, humans have always had different opinions and wants from their entertainment. Suck it up, that's life. You seek people to bully? How tragic! Depends on what you're asking. Full development? late 2018 to early 2019. Pre production? Maybe 2017 when the first leaks happened (Tim Neff). Although I do think GTA VI may have gone through design changes in very early pre production between 2013 - 2017. For example the game may have been focused on a smaller map with hyper detail, but the continuation of GTA Online requires a larger more diverse world, so it was changed. Just look at RDR2, it was in pre production since early 2011. But full production/development (whatever word you wish to use) didn't really begin until GTA V had wrapped.

A good point. It was pretty lonely in the old west. In fact, it still is in much of the west. When I drove a truck I drove through thousands of miles of nothingness out west. I enjoyed being away from the heavy traffic and high population areas.

I did see someone demonstrate it in a video but even then the NPC seems to be just.....trying to run away from you while cussing, not go toe to toe with you so yeah, if it is real, it is definitely poorly implemented. Yeah it always break the flow of driving for me, every collision will lead to me changing direction because the NPC just says No and go full brake static mode. You don't feel like an unstoppable force.....just a force...meeting an immovable object. It is strange because the flying physics and boat seems to be more realistic and to some extent user friendly but when it come to cars, Rockstar grabbed some intern's head and slammed it across the keyboard.......then got some professional to patch up whatever was left because some cars like the Duke I believe, still drives similar to how it did in IV but cars like Michael's Tailgater is just yuck. And you will be forced to drive that a lot if Michael spawns far away from the city. Still I would be okay with any kind of physics, as long as they were consistent. It seems like NPC and us just follow different rules and not to mention the weird scripting. I keep talking about how I once rammed a car on the road at full speed and it just somehow magically adjusted its course and went on like nothing happened. Yet police cars' rams will 90% of the time disrupt my course. It just not fair, a very artificial way to add challenge.

Cuz it makes too much sense I guess. Well look at the bright side. Apparently one major game breaking issue was fixed. Seems, on PC, you can no longer brush your horse to increase honor. We all know that was the #1 issue people had. Glad they took the time to do something about it.
