I can’t be the only one who doesn’t rock garment sets on my character. I’m just not into the animal skins on my clothing to be honest.

Here is my very low-rank Mohawk character, Hiawaha, "River-Spirit"; and his stunning chestnut Arabian, Tenderfoot. Hiawaha is flat broke, and his only role at the moment is trader, but playing him is fun, almost like playing another game entirely, the roleplay is so refreshingly different.

This might get buried but can I just say that R* deserves all the kudos for the "Survival" system they put in their game. I don't think I have ever seen such a seamlessly integrated "Needs" system, all the actual survival games have needlessly complicated meters where health and hunger are separate, stamina and fatigue are separate etc and it becomes tedious to play t5he game and stay on top of your needs. RDR2/O is different but it makes sense, you are not punished for having low needs but you are de-buffed to where its noticeable but not game breaking. The fact that the game encourages you to "role-play" by eating but does not force you is great. The food items also made sense, eat hearty meat to replenish your health, Sugary, salty or spiced things to get your Stamina back and nicotine and alcohol to "calm your nerves" and get your Dead-Eye back.

Had 20+ player lobbies for an hour or so this afternoon, after the update, but I've been on for over 3 hours tonight and never had more that 5 players, including myself, in any lobby I've been in. Bagged another Onyx Wolf and Chalk Horn Ram too, so LA spawns don't seem to have been affected.

We also discovered that the top lines probably say Aguasdulces. I'm not sure if I posted it here before, but I made a huge discovery a few months back now, showing that most of what final Guarma is, the 5% that we can actually explore, is actually pretty much exactly the same size of the island of Guama in the beta. Of course, DuPz0r put his skills up to the test again and recreated what beta Guama would have looked like in all its glory. I also have found a lot more proof of Guama being on the mainmap including coordinates datamined from the files and also cut props and models that still spawn in game. If you are interested in my Guarma findings, I am currently making a Guarma Beta Analysis video compiling all my finds into a single video. Stay tuned! To also add to this, most of the Lannahechee river textures in the files are marked or tagged with "BAY" in its name. Clearly not a bay anymore, but it was in the beta.

I just had an interesting thought, but keep in mind I'm adding up on top of what I talked about before It's highly possible that the new Business Battles were probably made with the new freemode creator, and I don't think Rockstar would just stop with the Aircraft Carrier BB. Heck, there's even a Halloween-themed BB within this update. So you could say BBs are from now the alternative of Adversary modes back in the day, receiving new additions with almost every update. This further piques my interest as to what could arrive with the new Heist, or whether the devs would push BBs to the next level, integrating a bunch of them for a greater cause. Moreover, we received the Aircraft carrier with this new addition of BBs that was most likely made with this new sort of "freemode" creator mode, which indicates a new tool with I guess smoother or soft-coded functionality to load up interiors or new places during BB events.

I think they cared a lot about Mafia 3 as well. You can see it in their writing, which is superb. I cannot fault Mafia 3's writing. They were just misguided about what the people expect from a Mafia game, and most likely lacked the necessary talent and knowledge to create the type of game that we were expecting.

I don't think anyone ever lost anything unless they asked support to reset their account. But for me I only had the mission stuck on the map, it's gone now.

I like the way RDO is starting to add more detail (and life) with better interaction of events, etc. If they can keep nailing bugs, they'll have a good game on their hands.

We're seeing this with a lot of big games recently not just with GTA V. Destiny 2 is FREE. The Division 1 was FREE for a week. Rocket League, FREE. Watch Dogs 2, Ubisoft literally handed them out during the summer to everyone that wanted it and released it again earlier this month for FREE. Countless of other AAA games as well, FREE forever or for a limited time in and out of Epic's game store.. Then you have big games like The Division 2 being $3 less than a year after its release, and other AAA games dropping like a rock in price just after their releases. What do all these games have in common? Microtransactions. I think this is the new trend. AAA games either being really cheap after their release or handed out in hopes that gamers purchase in-game items, and in the end the developers have already made their money and then some. The Division 1 for example seen a jump in purchases of their DLCs after the FREE handout, and it is safe to assume other games handed out had the same result in additional in-game purchases. It's a win win and reminds me why I shouldn't preorder or buy a game in its first year these days.

Still think those car decorations were meant to be 'prizes' (read: unlocks for winning or w/e) for the races they added in that same dlc, but it was just never properly implemented? Either way yes, i want them too. Oh and ffs let me actually place my hard earned plushie decorations in penthouse? why is that sh*t bugged for several dlc in a row even after they mention fixing it in patchnotes? Hhhhnnnnnnnggggggg!

Inb4 the new heist is just a huge BB that spawns on a tiny island with a mansion and you have to defend your crates from the whole lobby... But srsly speaking, I expect to see more of those random events (blue dots on the map). They probably planning to add more since they only gave us one for now. Yeah why not. I I would pay couple mills for a custom weaponized train as long as it includes couple new freeroam missions. Even if its something simple like fortified or headhunt.

On PS4, low population lobbies for me last night. Largest lobby I saw was 4

Shame we can’t really make it look like an old lakester. No aerodisc wheels, No Moon petrol tank to put in front of the radiator grille, no heat extractor louvre options on the bonnet, none of the exhausts like the ones on the Peyote Gasser, no option to remove the roof. And the engine looks like crap. Not to mention not having a salt lakebed to race on. Not like SoCal didn’t directly invent the hot rod specifically because kids would race cars on the dry lakebeds outside of Los Angeles in the surrounding deserts.

One thing I'm certain of is that we're gonna have this and it's really cool.

I think many of those extra players are in posses. Next time you get a larger lobby with posses, see how many are in each posse. I had 13 earlier but 7 were in 2 posses. When the posses left, the number of players dropped and stayed below 5 the rest of the time I was on.

I dont get this whole "mansion" thing. Why would people want to buy yet another big, empty interior with a few minigames for multiple millions? I mean I get the "flexing how much money they have" part, but appart from that? It would pretty much be an even bigger casino penthouse. I mean I like the design of the penthouse, I like the "spa", the media room and so on, but it still feels somewhat cold and empty. Its pretty much the same with all luxury apartments.

Just want to confirm as of patch 1.24 I'm able to play again. Everything is fixed including bounties and story missions, all I've lost is a daily streak. Thanks everyone for your contribution to this thread. Just proves R* will listen if we make ourselves heard.

You can do some mad things with these lights. Although, I think a whole park of these is a bit too much. Updated tests, a bit more subtle, and the light is directly on the bulb area.

I f*cking hate it when NPCs hide behind bushes so I can't see them but they get to use auto targeting on me. Rockstar, I play on the PC, I don't have an "Auto headshot button" on my keyboard, okay?

It got annoying after a while. I'd like to hear the natural sounds of the world instead of background music.
