Aka inflated rank, multiple billions of cash and the only vehicle they own is the mk2. The only lowlevels I as a highlevel (760) hate are the people who think Im a scriptkid and spam me with messages to give them cash.

Welcome to GTA Online. You probably met some assholes called K/D farmers. They only care about K/D, griefing, and go for cheap easy kills on defenceless players. They are usually trash at everything else, including fighting back when you decide to defend yourself . Do not waste your time playing in a lobby with those people. Sadly, GTA Online is not an adult game anymore, it has become a kids game. Especially the latest DLCs have been designed to appeal to kids, and the average player you run into is a 13 year old boy killing and hurling insults at everyone. They are usually as smart dumb as their characters look too. If you are looking for a game to play to relax after a day working, this game may not be it. Especially public freemode. Stay in invite-only lobbies with your friends, run some heists, contact missions and VIP work to get him started.

Reading all the big plans they had for the Single Player DLC, how each one was going to be unique, etc, only for GTA Online to launch and Leslie Benzies to get fired completely changing the direction they took with the series.

I know I'm definitely in the minority (maybe of 1 ), but I do like Madam. I spent some time near her a couple of occasions while scouring the map for something, and some of her dialogs are rather interesting, there's much more than the same old "I pay more for the whole set, you know". Hang out there for a while, it's worth a listen. I would pay some gold for her to have a few more tunes to play on that Victrola of hers, though. Besides, she's a gypsy, the original hippy chick. I patterned my character after my wife, who is a hippy chick, and I know the two of them would get along very well, so I gotta role play it a bit. Harriet kinda fits the bill, my wife hates to see any harm come to animals, and humans for that matter, but Harriet is way, WAY off the rails. I can handle scatter brained, but 'outer limits' crazy is too much.

Its mostly tryhards and griefers who pick on low ranks because they suck ass at the game and cannot pick on someone that have a similar rank to them, their minuscule braincells tell them to attack vulnerable players and players who aren't competent enough to defend themselves due to their low rank. In most common cases I would fortify any low level player who is getting bullied, griefed or harassed by a high level player, as peculiar as it sounds it makes me feel heroic! I would advise you to notify your cousin to possibly try to join a empty public lobby or a invite only lobby. also this is how tryhards look like so tell your cousin to beware of them:

I still don't understand the need to kill innocent kids who don't even really understand how this games works. I mean yeah sure, we all have our moments. Every now and then I love mowing down cattle for no reason. But what's the point? They can't even really fight back. It just isn't fun. Anyone who learned combat and uses it in that fashion, they just don't really understand this. I mean, your KD can only go so far before someone realizes it isn't a real KD.

Keep in mind that they only work on one series (God of War) and it's a much more linear game, by comparison, and is fully single player. Whereas Rockstar Games also work on RDR2, an open world sandbox game, with an Online service game, in addition to Grand Theft Auto Online. It's not a fair comparison, at all.

While it ain't the FSJ Wagoneer I always wanted in this game ever since the Bodhi was made purchasable (Kaiser M715), it's a great representation of an early XJ Wagoneer / Cherokee. Woodgrain is a must.

There are a number of NPCs that players don't care for, such as Harriet *cough*, but are there any NPCs that you do like? I have to say that I appreciate these: * Valentine Gunsmith: Easy going, no nonsense, doesn't care if I walk in via the back door. * Valentine Butcher (original voice): Doesn't insult my intelligence -or- my pelts... he actually has tact! * Tumbleweed General Store: Really nice lady--what can I say? I buy all my ammo from her when I'm there, rather than the gunsmith. * Tumbleweed Butcher: Also has tact, but he chops meat a bit too close to his customers. lol * Thieves Landing Fence: What can I say? I just get business done without being asked any stupid questions or whining about my mask.

An island based on Staten Island doesn't, which is shame to Staten Islander. However, I found out something kinda cool while browsing through GTA 4 map file on OpenIV that Rockstar did use a few landmarks from that forgotten island when designing Alderney. More pacifically, "Downtown" Staten Island, which are St. George, Tompkinsville, and Stapleton I think. The Valentine General Store owner will always be the MVP. He was always nice to Arthur and he's friendly with the online character. The Valentine Barber as well. He's called Quinten BTW. Alot of the shops have the owners name or initials over the door. The woman in Tumbleweeds first initial is L for example so I call her Laura. We should name them all.

99% of 'meme vehicles' in this game are based on 70/80 TV shows. So its not like they are loosing anything by setting GTA 6 in the past. Also I wound't be surprised if there was a time jump in the story mode (just like in RDR2). That way gta6online can start in the 80 and slowly end up in the 90-2000 after couple of years.

AirWolf put it nicely, they are more than likely just killing the weaker players to raise their K/D with no challenge. I'm a pretty high level and usually try to invite lower levels to CEO missions to help them get money and rank but lately we've been playing in solo public lobbies to avoid all the idiots from screwing with our sales and setups with the double money going on. And there is a difference in the "high level" players, some are true rank and some are fake rank. The people you are asking about, they are fake rank. You'll know true rank when you find it, there are some good players out there that can send these K/D warriors back to home screen.

Probably 3/4 of Online community are little kids with sh*t ton of time to play. And they don't share our view of chilling in an online game.

I think a 2022 reveal would be the worst case scenario, given that (IF) covid delayed stuff too much. It did delay things but hopefully not that far. At that point it would be better to atleast give us a logo instead of being silent for another year(if it's 2022 reveal). Also I know I'm going to be disappointed this year, but I can't control that small bit of hope.

Title says it all. After T2, Sony's first party titles also appear to be heading towards a 70$ price tag. 80 Euros for europeans(WTF?). Probably a nightmare in Canada as well. It's only a matter of time for pretty much every Triple A title to cost this much. These companies are gonna slowly make this the norm and of course there's gonna be an outrage at first. But in the end we'll accept it as the helpless consumers that we are. Just like how MTX is normal nowadays. Only this time the additional price is mandatory. No escape from this one. We've already seen devs ship half assed video games that run horribly for 60$ + Microtransactions + Lootboxes + Cut Content sold as overpriced Season Pass. Apparently that's not enough. Greed doesn't stop. Apparently DeVeLoPmEnT cOsTs are too much nowadays. Yes they are. But the gaming community is way bigger as well and these companies are already making a lot more profit than the past. That's why we see that pretty much every new title that drops breaks records in terms of sales no matter how sh*tty the quality is in comparison to its predecessor. Not to mention the money made based of MTX. Jeez. I'm gonna be way more careful with what I purchase next gen. No more paying full price for half assed games. Usually there are 1-2(3 at best) games that are worthy of the full price tag. I don't have the time and money to pay for their greed anymore. I'm gonna be super selective.

In real life, I like Daytonas more than Superbirds (the proportions work better in my opinion), but as far as R*'s rendition goes, I think the Superbird-like skin works better than the Daytona one... something about the placement of the stripe around the wing and quarter panels doesn't sit right. I think it has to do with the rear overhang not being long enough on a Challenger-based car.

Shame there’s no portal windows. They went all-out on the interior to make it a shaggin wagon, but skipped over basically the entire point of a 70s windowless van AGAIN: the giant bank canvas for airbrushed murals. The wild west one and the Love Fist one are the closest it gets to an authentic design. But where’s the wizards and dragons and sword-wielding barbarians and UFOs and knockoff Star Wars and nude women and basically everything else that screams disco and cocaine?

You can be absolutely sure that the new "enhanced" version of the game will have features that have not been seen before, and Rockstar will not miss the opportunity to sell more copies across as many platforms as possible, including PC. And would next-gen console players really be satisfied with the same old game with tweaked graphics and 60 FPS? I think not. To justify the price of a 'new' game, Rockstar will need to add something drastic such as a map expansion, which I would be really happy about. In the meantime, we can look forward to a major Christmas update and then worry about the next enhancement of GTA online sometime next year.

I am starting to think Rockstar, is ran by a bunch of Pikers. These f*ckers, are never on the level. They should create a PSA, addressing all high ranked players. Warning us, about this colossal buggy f*ckery. I can imagine them, roaming the country side. Painting holes on the sides of mountains and collecting tolls for a tunnel. Honourable mention to all the Escort Stranger random encounters (the ones who aren't just bait for an ambush.) They've kept me patient company for many cumulative hours as I do my own thing whilst running their payout timer up until I finally get around to seeing them home.

There's a section in this forum for Crews. Some of them are specialized (racing, grinding, roleplay) and lots of them are kid/beginner friendly, take a look there. Also every platform have a trick to launch a solo sesion, in case your cousin wants total privacy.

Los Santos 2020 (probable sequel to Los Santos 2012) has been an in-game Movie pisstake of Roland Emerich movies since day 1 release and has been documented since 2013. It's also on the cover of a couple of magazines: In the Fantascifi magazine, it's the cover story with "Behind the scenes" and in the Vinewood magazine "Cloak and Swagger" Spy Dude issue, it is a story with the byline "Pity The City".

If GTAV isn't announced by Fall 2021 then I'd be skeptical, as if 'What the actual f*ck is going on?' but until then it's reasonable. I mean come on,look at other studio's timeline, look at GoW Ragnarok's reveal. Just 2.5 years after GoW 2018 and it's slated for 2021, almost certainly to be pushed to Q1/Q2 2022, so 4 years after the previous title. What Rockstar makes takes even more time, Red Dead 2 was a significant undertaking for Rockstar and If they stated working on GTA6 by 2016-'17, it should come by 2022-'23. It makes perfect sense. And GTAV PS5 version is a stop gap and possibly being done because they had to port GTAO to next gen anyway so why not do the whole thing kinda scenario.

Same here. I've not had more than 5 other players in a lobby with me all day. Over the last few days I've landed in larger lobbies, still only 10 or 12 players, but they've all dwindled down to just a hand full fairly quickly.
