That games take time to make and they are not in a rush cause they are squeezing every penny out of gtao before they release a replacement for it? Only a crazy person would think that they are not working on another gta game in the meantime. And they probably using all of that gtao money to fund other future projects as well. Thats why they keep hiring new people. Would be perfect for AirWolf (heli with rocket boost) Yeah, new island would be a perfect opportunity to add more (and better) amphibious vehicles. Especially planes. They should also add rocket boost to all boats (like in JustCause games). Also all amphibious vehicles should spawn near you when you in water edit: lol no sh*t dude, thanks for the insight. Ofc he was talking about pc modders here.. But on consoles you still have to deal with godmode, oppressor griefers and frame drops below 15 fps. At least on pc you can get rid of assholes with a click of a button and you don't have to buy the same game 3x in a row lol (not to mention all the other benefits) Sure, the modders problem on PC is real but there are much bigger issues on all platforms. The game being intentionally unbalanced by OP vehicles is much bigger problems then modders ever were. For every scripkiddo I encounter over 50 oppressors. The difference is the first one is an issue that R* can't seem to fix (cause if they could they would surly block all those money drops), the other much bigger issue is a problem they intentionally created themselves.10 points -

I’m glad it’s limited. If I wanted to play goat simulator then I would of bought it. The less amount of work the devs spend on this then the better. Time to move on and deliver us director mode, bank robberies, lawman, robbing trains, stolen hats, more unique guns/clothing/horses/wagons.6 points -

*HIGH LEVELS BEWARE* There is a serious corruption bug going around right now that appears to only affect high level players (700+). My friend created a Reddit post to help spread awareness as Rockstar don't seem to be giving it much attention. Please take the time to read this as it very well may have already affected some of you like it has me. It only mentions PS4 but there has been at least one confirmed XBOX case too. The best thing they can do is take in loads of feedback and implement a giant quality of life update. I'm talking visual buys with cars and planes, sh*tty handling flags, cars in the wrong class and nerfing the pariah etc. Real balancing patches. GTA online is like a leaky water pipe with duct tape plastered on over and over with each patch, not fixing the major issues properly.5 points -

As long there are some good cars, I'm down. Even if all the cars look like this? Well I always seen mansions as a central hub that combines all previous businesses and features in one place. So I could see why would they want to keep something like that for the final dlc for gtao. Otherwise they would have to keep updating it after every dlc. But its possible that the next heist will be all about that. Us stealing stuff from a huge mansion, killing the owners and buying it afterwords. And make it a Wet Willie! Speaking of those kind of toys, water jetpack would be fun. Or maybe parasailing? Could be used for some prep/setup missions5 points -

In all fairness, there are a lot of big mansions on that part of the map near the playboy mansion, they could make quite a few of them purchaseable. Its also a bit of a under used area, so it will definitely bring some life into that area. Im guessing you could only buy 1 mansion though, but it would be cool if you could buy 25 points -

I was hired by, Mama Watson, to hijack a wagon from O'Driscoll goons (she mentioned something about Colm and getting even). Got ambushed by some O'Driscoll, highywaymen; on my way to the rendezvous. My horse, was shot to pieces and fell over a cliff. I stumbled down the cliff face and raced to revive her. An O'Driscoll, grappled me from out of nowhere, we both hopped to it and squared off... only to be attacked by wolves. *a single man tear* I love this sh*t.5 points -

@hyperar & @partci, learn how to set up what we refer to as 'solo public' sessions. For example, on Xbox, you load into a public session, go into your xbox settings menu and test your NAT type. This briefly interrupts your connection and splits you off into your very own public session. Just like that you can sell, source, etc in peace. You'll have to google the method for your respective platforms, but it's pretty straightforward in all cases. The OP Mk II was added to the game specifically to destroy cargo runs. It is purpose-built and extremely good at it. R*'s goal is to frustrate players jnto buying Shark Cards, and players who destroy cargo are unwitting servants of that goal. Most of them don't realise that R* is using them, some just don't care because 'lol truck go boom, umadbro looool'; in any case, don't be surprised if your Op Mk II gets taken out preemptively - the seller does not have the luxury of waiting to see if this Opressor pilot is the 1 in 1000 that won't attack. By the same token, don't be suprised when an Op Mk II blows away your cargo - that is literally its job, and R* is counting on the toxicity of the playerbase to do their dirty work for them. This business model has earned Take 2 Interactive billions of dollars and has catapulted their stock value from around 3 billion when GTA V launched to 18.5 billion at last count, so do not think for a second that they're going to change things; if anything it will just get worse. Solo public sessions are the solution to your problems. Not mod menus, not trying to fight unwinnable battles and not getting angry and giving yourself stress-headaches. Learn how to set them up and milk the sh*t out of them while you can; you bet your ass this method won't exist in future iterations of the game and the microsecond R* figures out how to shut it down on existing platforms, they will do it. I stand by my original statement, tho: playing on PC must be a f*cking nightmare.4 points -

You're absolutely right. I have even removed some of those self-righteous in-game "friends" that took too much pride in being legit, so much that they wouldn't skip bad sell missions like MC Post-op vans, wouldn't leave the session to save their sale from griefers, considered solo-public sessions cheating, refused to join Bogdan finales (which is completely legit for everyone except the host). SMH. If this were on console, I'd understand, but on PC, there is no point in being 100% legit when everyone else cheats. Just don't do the easy and obvious glitches and you'll be fine. Why? Because the people that do them actually don't know that Rockstar responds hard, or that those glitches are easy to track. Typically those people are first timers who don't use GTA Forums, only youtube, or (God forbid) TikTok. They don't have a clue about Bogdan or car dupes, they have no idea what kind of glitches are safe and which are not. They see an easy glitch, like Lester's plane glitch or the apartment glitch, and they do it as long as they like, without thinking about the consequences. I glitch Bogdan all the time, and even though I could use the money at the time, I figured Lester's plane glitch and the apartment glitch were too easily detectable (transaction statements), and decided not to risk doing them. I dodged a bullet there.4 points -

I haven’t posted in here in a while but lately I’ve became a truck guy. Mainly Ford trucks. Anyways a few that I’m about to post are basic work trucks so they’re nothing special but seeing these in GTA would be pretty cool to me. Plus we lack in the truck department on there. So here we go Ford SVT Raptor 2014 Ford F-150 XL 2011 Ford F-350 Crew Cab 2019 Ford F350 2011 Ford Ranger XLT (y’all might laugh at me for this but I love these trucks lol) Ford F450 Dually Dodge Ram SRT-10 GMC Syclone 2018 Ford F-150 XL (basic truck, I’ve driven alot of these and love the simplicity of them) GMC Sierra Denali 1992 Nissan Pickup This one has a place in my heart because my dad used to own one 1999 Dodge Dakota This one has a place in my heart because this is my current vehicle that I own Also this isn’t mine, I was just lucky to find a picture with one in the same color as mine But thats it for my list. Some won’t like it because they’re basic trucks but truck enthusiasts will probably like it. Anyways enjoy.4 points -

And I'mma still brag about my duped cash and frozen money assets. It is better than people being self righteous about wasting their lives away earning money "the right way" in a game where Rockstar wants you to buy transactions otherwise grind your ass off. I honestly don't know why people partake in such risky glitches such as the apartment one. There are just those glitches where you know Rockstar will respond hard. But I can't blame folks.4 points -

I've realised the game's about the same age GTAO was when things started to go downhill for me (Freemode Events, plus the thin end of the wedge with things like the Hydra and Adversary Modes with the Heists update) - except where GTAO had a promising "living online world" and then started eroding things bit by bit, RDO feels only more cohesive and believable two years in. Naturalist in particular has been a real shot in the arm - because while it was fun doing bounty hunts or digging up treasure, there was a heck of a lot of slogging across the map doing nothing special. Now, though, I'll choose to ignore fast-travelling, because riding somewhere might turn up an animal I need to sample on the way (even during bounty missions!). Combine that with R* doing the right thing, and prioritising NPC activity and game stability over 'moar players!', and there's always something to do at any given time - and the whole thing feels more alive and organic as a result (with nothing feeling like the obviously 'game-ified' grind of Freemode work in GTAO). On top of that, clothing quality is better than ever (really nice items in this update, rather than garish-coloured reskins), they've improved layering options, the new camera is a real step up over the old one, payouts stop things feeling like a grind (unlike GTAO, where everything costs millions, and making back millions takes forever...), and they've been really quite generous with the discounts and giveaways. I hate to jinx things, but ...yeah, I agree: this might be the best fun the game's ever been. It genuinely feels as enjoyable as early-2015 GTAO used to for me, where I could just hang around in a session, and always find something enjoyable to do (and probably get sidetracked by something else, like an opportunity for a photo, or an outfit idea, or whatever). Maybe it's because R* has GTAO to milk for cash with gimmicks and nonsense that they haven't yet done the same to RDO - eh, well at least it'll be enjoyable and immersive for however long it lasts, and I'm actually looking forward to seeing what they do with December's update, now...3 points -

Totally new player to Red Dead series here and went straight for the online section. Think I've had it for 3 days now? Anyway, since this is a thread about the lobbies, as a new player, I haven't really felt alone despite low numbers. I end up seeing people and almost always just avoid them. One time I actually teamed up for bounties. Only thing that matters for me really is getting a person or two or three for the missions and poker. I don't really enjoy packed servers filled with people doing insane griefing things that ultimately just make me not want to play. I know others adore that gameplay... but ain't for me. Hopefully something is sorted out for the lobbies soon so people can enjoy the game however they like. Solo, Friends, Limited, and Full would be nice options.3 points -
