r* actually planned to replace a few billboards with an ad for the casino when it released, but never enabled them for some reason

I still find it bizarre that people actually buy Shark Cards. I'm not even speaking from the "glitch yourself millions bro" aspect. Like, the idea of spending real money for fake money has always blown my mind. Like, WHY would you do that? Its sad.

I think Rockstar needs to fix their broken game and improve the in-game economy before anybody who's glitched gets what's coming to them. I'm happy to say I've glitched the hell out of this game. Back in 2018 I took advantage of frozen money and accumulated 40 million. Did it again in 2018 and accumulated 80 million. And then I took advantage of one of the easiest duping glitches and accumulated 110 million. Yes, I glitched cash. Did I grief? No. Did I even bother anyone let alone play outside of passive mode? No. I minded my own business and had fun. And I'm basically undetectable but IDGAF anyway because I've moved on to PC and singleplayer mods which is far better. I grinded for years, legitimately. I made a few million and built up part of my car collection and businesses that way. It was boring. And eventually I got a life and video games because leisure-only activities for IF I even have time to play these days. I had more fun after "glitching" than I ever had grinding. But it also made me realize how much effort and time people waste to accumulate mediocre, half-assed, overpriced content. More power to whoever doesn't have a problem with that. If you participate in a glitch you know your risks and should not be surprised if it comes to bite you in the ass. However, I have nothing against anyone who does it. Rockstar's practices, lack of quality control, and prioritization of income over satisfaction has tainted their image in my eyes. And I think any developer that punishes their players for their sorry ass mistakes is pathetic. I don't care if some crappy legal documents claim they have the right to do whatever if they want, they know what they're doing is wrong. Because they are always quick to fix anything that threatens their income and yet won't budge when it comes to fixing bugs, flaws, cracking down on actual griefers, etc. Only things that threaten their income. Rockstar isn't paying any of you. In fact, it's the opposite. They're not gods. So stop treating them like one.

I think the heist finale glitches are going to get patched and patched hard, resulting in possible punishments when Rockstar figure out how to do so. The amount of focus on these glitches in my own community since the reset is extremely high, and if my friends are constantly discussing how to glitch extra money then it must be the same in most other communities in GTA online. It's not just the Bogdan glitch, but other heist finale glitches too, with the potential to make many millions in an evening by trading off finales with friends. I can't believe that Rockstar are happy about this? How can they be? They've just taken extreme measures to reset people, and we know how important the bottom line is to them, so they must be really concerned about this. There's no point asking people to be sensible about this because when you've had a billion in assets and cash wiped away you probably don't care about being wiped again, but it does have an effect on the wider community: your friends are constantly grinding/glitching and are no longer having fun and GTA online has regressed to the days of repeat Rooftop Rumble or Coveted. OK, you can make so much more in-game cash these days than in 2013, but everything is so much more expensive in return, so we have an endless cycle of never having enough. I want people to be happier with less, but how can they be expected to take a backseat when they're back to noob status after being so harshly admonished Rockstar? Rockstar didn't just punish glitchers, but smashed a whole stack of plates over their heads, so we've got this endless and cyclical battle that will never end. I'm in danger of losing my online friends over time because of the horrible imbalance between their own greed and Rockstar's/T2 even bigger greed in paying out so little for a 100-dollar shark card. I just don't get it any more and am mentally worn out. Why only give GTA 8 million for USD 100? This buys two upgraded OWR cars and a garage, or a static-prop yacht? Big deal! You should be able to buy the game for USD 60 and then purchase an additional shark card or two, which should be enough for a year, and I guarantee that money glitching would be totally irrelevant if high-end shark cards paid out decently. In the meantime, we have this constant squabble between Rockstar and gamers over something as menial as virtual cash, which stops players from having fun because they're on an endless glitch/grind mission. And Rockstar/T2 don't cheat us? Have you ever been blown sky high while doing a delivery because it's the only way of getting in-game cash without forking out real cash for uneconomical shark cards? Try to understand why people cheat instead of being so judgmental.

Hopefully the next update gives us a Benny's version. If there was ever a car that needs an upgrade, it's this one.

There's no way a update of such scale was just planned recently, I'm sure they host a session or a meeting at the start of every year to brainstorm ideas for the updates, especially what should be the big one for the December update. I do assume, however, that it only goes over the basics and doesn't delves further into the specifics.

Just because we have different screenshots and readme descriptions is no excuse to put him down like that. People are different and have different ways of doing things, get used to it.

On one hand you say spawns were low and camps didn't work for ages. Then you turn around and say they're working on a fix and it won't be long before large sessions. Since they hadn't been able to fix those issues since they released online, 2 years or so, what makes you think they will soon, if ever? It's pretty obvious that now even they see what the rest of us have seen all along, the problems have been those crappy p2p servers. But we're supposed to give a sh*t about what you think. I see. Talk about embarrassing oneself.

It would be and there is a beautiful '77 Monaco/Gran Fury in GTA V. However, I have no interest in real vehicles at the moment, I would need more time to convert them perfectly. Overall, I liked summer update vehicles. My favorite is the Seminole Frontier (this I am already converting to IV), The Club (Rockstar finally brought the Club Classic to the HD universe although VanillaWorks has already made one) and the Penumbra FF (Unlike the Jester classic, the design Penumbra FF is good, the back ned and Supra's rear quarter windows make it a little weird). About my interest on Summer Update vehicles in IV: BF Club The Rockstar Club has an interesting design, the rear reminds me the 80's Brazilian Volkswagen Gol GT. However, the front of the old Ford Fiesta makes it seem strange to me (maybe if I had one more extralight in the grille it would be less weird, I think). Thundersmacker has already converted the VanillaWorks Club to IV, this model has the Peugeot taillights (I didn't particularly like it). In addition to the VW's model, it would be interesting to see this official model in LC as well, but this one I will leave to the discretion of Thunder. Coquette D10 I was very surprised to see the newest Corvette in the game. However, I would prefer it to be a C4 based (I love C4 Corvette). I have no interest in this model in IV (I think the Coquette "C7" fits better). Beater Dukes, Gauntlet, Glendale, Manana, Peyote For GTA V it is interesting to have more options for lowriders, but they are not very useful for IV. The Dukes beater is totally unnecessary and why a "Challenger Daytona"?! Wouldn't it be better to have a tunable Dukes with the aero kit available, like JoeVK’s Dukes. Landstalker XL It is now obvious that the Dundreary Landstalker is based on the Lincoln Navigator. This vehicle is very useful for IV (perfect for modern LC traffic) and much better than the old Landstalker. It is a good basis for an Expedition variant (Vapid version). I hope Rockstar will do the '15 Tahoe or new Cavcade in the next update. Openwheels: Funny, but I pass. Penumbra FF As I said earlier, it has a cool design. This fits my 90's traffic in the game. Thundersmacker has also shown interest in this car, so let's wait. Tigon I pass, it's not bad. It would be better if it had a retro look. Yosemite Rancher I had the idea to stock Yosemite Rancher with this, but the LODs are not good. I think I'll have to use Thunder's Yosemite as a base. Youga 4x4 The Youga 4x4 LODs are optimized for use in IV, unlike the Youga stock of the Bikers update. I intend to use the new Youga to improve my old mod. Sure, Thunder has some of his "magic", but that doesn't mean you have to bash G.C.T. for it. Any plans on turning it into Dominator Classic? I just saw this, and I just realized no one has ever made a proper conversion of V Coquette (C7 based) to IV. And not only that, that even if said punishment was warranted or not, it's not applied equally among all players who break the rules/ToS/whatever. Godmode griefers, modders and script kiddies are running rampant without being punished for it, even when it could be argued that their actions are way more harmful to the community than some silly money glitches.

Sounds to me like you want to cut a niche for yourself on these forums, which is definitely a rocky road if it makes you unpopular. Once you get a reputation for being an ass it's very hard to shake off those shackles. Awesome post, mate . Blasterman had a horrible reputation for being overly moralistic and contrary to just about everything posted by everyone on this forum. Nobody liked him and he got banned in the end. You're entitled to your opinion, but glitching isn't as cut and dry as that. The problem isn't glitching as such as that's just down to poor coding by the developers, but the misuse of a money-orientated glitch, i.e.; you come across one and then work it over and over again to your unfair advantage. Some people might have done the apartment glitch a few times and then backed off, and rightly so, whereas others couldn't resist and did it hundreds of times. Rockstar are not punishing glitchers as such, but instead people who abuse the game by generating unrealistic swathes of cash.

Jesus, $10 for a single non-licensed sedan is harsh. How about $1 if Playground games can do that with Forza?

gtaforums: Small island far away from the mainland is the most logical solution for a new location R* logic: Hold my beer Depends if we looking at it from our point of view (gameplay) or R*s point of view (effort / profits). But yeah, I would say DDH if we talking about new locations and the amount of vehicles with unique features they had to make (opressor, deluxo, avenger, stormberg, jetpack, chernobog etc) Or Casino (+casino heist since they probably planned both of those from the start). Making all those minigames probably took a lot of extra effort.

I had started Ellie a few months ago. Just when Thundersmacker told me he was no longer interested in that car. My biggest interest is to turn it into a stock dominator, but the Eleanor version must be made. I remember that JoeVK made the two Coquettes from GTA V (Classic and modern). But, no offense to people's work (as Rushcars24ID did), JoeVK's Coquette is a little outdated (without panel gaps and door physics), which is a little different from other cars.

Still have yet to find a more enjoyably immersive gaming experience. I love to log in and go hunting in some beautiful spot of the map, just taking my time and enjoying myself. R* really nailed it with that stuff.

4 people in the lobby for me today, and as usual no disconnects. Last night it was just myself and another player: we passed once on the trail, tipped hats and went along our business.

I know, just made me giggle. You and Mark were disputing the majority aspect to these current smaller lobbies (to the point Mark even took some offence and has been quite antagonistic since). But at the same time, accepting that if others, that same majority posting here at least, are liking the more missions/events spawning, that's ok. Just funny is all. In one area it's ok for the majority to be appeased, but not in the other and it even leads to offence being taken. Look, there's no point arguing here as it does little. We all pretty much just want a fully working game and either want or don't object to more freedom and choice in this game. We should try to come together more on these things but unfortunately R* are doing the same as they did with GTA:O and forcing playstyles to clash to the point we can't all get what we want out of our game. It's pretty tragic really, but it sells gold so we're all pretty f*cked really. 2 years in and this game is still a poxy beta, lol. Tragic.

I genuinely think these smaller lobbies are deliberate. That's not to say that I necessarily think they're permanent, because I think that if R* can find a way, even if it's not until next gen, to get 20+ player lobbies close to low population lobbies in terms of stability and content spawn rate, they'll turn lobby merging back on. If R* turn lobby merging back on arbitrarily, basically rolling back to broken high population lobbies, without having found a solution to all the issues they cause, they'll look beyond foolish.

I know my opinion's unpopular, but every single person who's glitched for cash deserves any punishment Rockstar throw their way. One benefit of the big account wipe is that griefing in the console lobbies has massively nosedived. Usually I run a quick Haulage mission when I enter a lobby to see how many cargo griefers are in a session. Before the account wipe, you'd see a swarm of jets and oppressors racing in to be the one to blow up the Haulage cab - now there's one or two at most - and they usually back off after seeing a couple of rockets hasn't affected the cab (Yep, the old MOC cab trick) in order to find easier prey.

I don't think you followed the quote LM replied to back to its original context, in context it was one of the most laughably woke statements I've seen in writing outside of Twitter. The poll being discussed (thousands of votes) was 82% in favour of low population lobbies remaining, if that's a true indication of how the player base as a whole feels, R* should absolutely take notice.

Picked the color of the Love Fist limo from GTA Vice City and i think it matched not so well

Im quitting GTA series, Im not interested in any new game if we get same disaster like GTA V story mode. This game gets right every small detail imaginable that nobody asked for, but missed major details that makes GTA games fun. This game plays like bad reality TV show and you are forced to have fun when they think you want it. If you try step down from that path you are punished except If you start GTA Online and use shark cards. I was kinda ok with this game when was released, but this is not right for for year 2020 and game for next generation consoles. Im quitting gta v completely, because they still bother me with updates that are only garbage data for me. Im sure that I can said King is death, hail to the new King. MafIa Definitive edition, looks like decent gangster game. And based on OG Mafia I bet these 25 hours of gameplay of pure 30s Mafia will be a lot enjoyable than Michael arguing with his wife and childs ... Doing yoga and doctor session shiet... I never asked for it in GTA game!
