You were wrong, the Yacht Missions were the main focus of this update. The cars were the secondary focus. The Open Wheel Races were a distant 3rd. No one cares if Ross made a video about what you said, I've been mentioned in a few dozen of his videos and I don't know a damn thing.

Actually, it's overpriced compared to what's supposed to represent, more than a million for a counterfeit Golf Mk1 is beyond absurd and can't really be justified no matter how much money we can theoretically make compared to years ago. If that car costed between the $300k-500k price range no one would say anything about it. But hey, at least the counterfeit Golf Mk1 has character, meanwhile, a generic Lincoln Navigator that wouldn't look out of place as NPC traffic and that doesn't even have a colourable interior (even when there's already a colourable version of the generic SUV interior) is just as expensive. R* is taking the piss with the ingame prices now, no wonder why people would rather glitch in spite of the risks tbh.

No problem for me. I enjoy making money with VIP Work, Contact Missions and the occasional Adversary Mode here and there.

I get the feeling that whatever Rockstar/T2 interactive do, there will be even more players to take up the gauntlet and play their games afterwards and that this money wipe was a calculated strategy to warn players against cheating but also to create a marketing snowstorm to promote their game, which makes me realize that no matter how clever you and you friends think you are, you're fighting against an organized corporate with much more experience and resources, so be careful. Thanks to everyone for posting and giving their insight and feedback, and here's some more feedback on my crew and how they've coped over the last three of four days: Last night we did a regular Monday playlist with 20 regular crew members, of which five of them had received character wipes. Notably, some people were missing, but it's still a relatively small percentage of people who were very greedy and simply got caught. In the meantime, we are all trying to help them out by running heist finales and giving them the cut, letting them win races, etc., so that they can get back to something approaching 'normal' as soon as possible. Actually, it's been quite refreshing as people have vented a lot of frustration and we all feel more united in our enjoyment of our favorite game. Just be careful out there, as video game companies will beat you up and extort you if they can, but they can't break your spirit to have fun.

Break the rules get banned? So what % of the playerbase would they have to ban to get rid of every single rule break? There are many things that players have done, or accidentally done in 7 years that is cheating. Any time you restart your game to exploit something is cheating. I know a few people in the community who say they don't cheat but have restarted their game to avoid the cmm challenge resetting... There are many people who restart their game over and over again trying to win the car off the casino wheel. Any time you get in a public lobby by yourself is technically cheating as well. The game even yells at you that you can find a new lobby. There are those who repeat heist finales over and over and over. There are people who exploit only getting high end vehicles for the export garage. There are players constantly in god mode. There were a few people who teleported to the collectibles around the map instead of traveling between them. There are people who upload "modded" maps. I wonder what% of the playerbase I just hit with these few things I just mentioned. They should all be reset for cheating in various ways. Technically they could ban fun2's account for uploading that fun "modded" field of screams map years ago. Since your not supposed to be able to make them like he did. Think you got like $80, if you completed it. Maybe people wouldn't cheat if R* didn't only go after 1 form of cheating in the game and its anything involving money.

When you show up to a 7 year old game a few years too late, what do you expect? Us day 1 players did a lot to get where we are and you young thundercats think you should just be able to show up and hang with big dogs. Nah, son. You try to take a shortcut and you end up taking the long way 'round. Enjoy the view.

Day one, 748-level player here. Did the glitch to buy the new cars - didn`t glitch billions, just enough to buy everything I wanted. I enjoy the grind of the game tbh, I love gliding around the city in my cars while chasing some poor bastard who made my hit list just because SecuroServ told me to wipe him and his bodyguards off. Kinda reminds me of the good ol' 3D-era games. I came back after a 2 year hiatus and I even ended up liking destroying griefers... whenever there's one following me, he`s dead on arrival. I learned every little dirty trick they do, so I always find a way to counter whatever they throw at me. I have a 2.1 K/D just because I defend myself from griefers in almost every lobby I get into ... surely my 748 level is an *sshole magnet for some reason. Still, I've always managed to adapt to all the bad stuff you can face in a public lobby. Over the last 7 years I have glitched money like 2 times probably, this time and when the MC faggio glitch showed up. I have never felt guilty of doing so. When R* decides to charge 1+ million for a f*ckin 80`s Volkswagen, you stop caring about the consequences. I think the economy in this game made the money glitches worse, because everything is too f*ckn expensive, so like others have said, you either grind or glitch money to get what you want. Usually I'm on the grinders side, cause getting stuff for free is nice and all but kind of takes the soul of the game away (the money-making/building a criminal empire aspect). But in the last 2 months I've been feeling resentful towards R*'s game design and how they treat their playerbase (looking at you, RDO post-update fiasco). Told myself I wouldn't spend my time grinding to get the stuff I wanted and glitched instead, as some sort of payback for what was happening with RDO. I know it's stupid, but still, don't really care that much nowadays. I feel R* is just as responsible for the current state of the game as most glitchers/cheaters/griefers. And considering that, they should've acknowleged the problem with this glitch started on their end. Obviously as a player you have the choice to either glitch or grind, so you shouldn't complain when the sh*t hits the fan. But still, their decision was distasteful... like most of the stuff they've done in the last 7 years.

Weird as it can be to some players, I'm really digging the smaller lobbies. Game has been running smooth as butter for me, animals & legendarys are plentiful, random encounters are back .... why fix what don't seem broke?

Rockstar has brought the glitching epidemic upon itself.. Honestly, I sympathize with the people who got reset. Here's why. When this game came out, it was fun. Sure you had to grind a bit to afford stuff, but it wasn't a grinding/ delivery boy simulator. Cars and vehicles were not insanely expensive. Fast forward 7 years later and look where we are? Cars can cost several million dollars. It can take hours to grind just for one vehicle. People have jobs. Longtime fans of this series have kids and families and careers. They do not have the time grind day in and day out. People have lives. Sure you can buy a shark card, but those are ripoffs anymore as well. 8 million for a $100? Are you kidding me? Rockstar and T2 have made hundreds of millions, if not over a billion, in Shark Card revenue over the last 7 years. And that's not enough apparently, considering the way they operate their business! T2 has been consumed by greed. This game is designed to irritate and railroad you into buying shark cards. And, the shark card money they give you for the amount you fork over isn't worth sh*t. So yeah, I sympathize with the people who got reset because Rockstar and T2 greed have made my sympathize. This game shouldn't feel like a 2nd job and yet it does. So anytime someone finds an exploit or a glitch that earns them money, my hats off to them. Rockstar has only themselves to blame. The economy they have built encourages it. I hope when they reopen the character transfer tool for the PS5 and XBX, they get rammed up the ass again with people bringing over hundreds of millions in illicit money, just like what had happened with last gen to current gen. I have no sympathy for Rockstar.

This is a cool shot - although I'm amused by the dude apparently cosplaying as Cripps... 40% discount vouchers off Naturalist items (one for doing the Milk Coyote mission, another for getting a sample) are very welcome, as is the free shirt voucher login bonus (because that means another Molina Blouse for zero gold!). Another pretty decent week - in fact, between the event weeks and the current Outlaw Pass, it's a pretty good time for getting things on the cheap.

I have the impression that they are faster inside the races...in free mode? nah...a bati 808 beated the progen. Me an a friend tested it. Then we have a problem, i know this isn't any gran turismo, forza, or any other car simulator game, but, can we have some standards? To begin with, we still see interior textures from 2013, even worse when it in vehicles with good outside look...really? Then, a freaking golf costs more than a bugatti...i know that they put this compact cars with high prices bcz they know people will buy them just for the looks and/or the lolz, that's why usually they have a normal customization and also a meme customization pieces. And i don't understand the lack of bikes we have in the game...we have like 3 or 4 sport bikes and when some new bike is added are trikes, that almost no one uses and perform badly, wtf! Not to forget that bicycles don't have a map icon and neither can be called via mechanic, neither we have the bicycle helmets that we have in SP. Something like this, pls R*:

Found my first tree treasure map in f***in MONTHS. Saw a legendary elk but was halfway through my second Long Distance delivery (which I almost NEVER do ANY), then bagged the Wakpa boar on the way back to camp. No posses or players taking pot shots at me, no dingleberries with "something to prove" because they saw a better dressed/higher rank player than them, just a fairly relaxing session. THIS is what I'd wanted when I bought RDR2 for RDO.

I made a new outfit. I hadn't played around with bandoliers or skirts much before but I'm going to be wearing this for a while I think

I'm referring to the fact that its already in the game files... If they had plans for Halloween update, why would they add that event with previous dlc? It makes no sense. Why spoil the surprise couple month earlier if you planning to release another dlc just before Halloween? Thats why I think if we getting another small filler dlc, it will be released after Halloween. If they haven't nerfed it for so many years, I don't see them doing it just for I/E part 2. If they wanted to do that, they would done that already. And there's soooo much that they could do with I/E part 2 - New list of cars (cause we have like 300-400 cars in the game they can pick from) - Rare missions with Bennys cars (harder to steal but they pay extra) - Special missions where you steal and upgrade other kinds of vehicles (planes, bikes etc) - Freeroam events like Business Battles where you steal i/e vehicles instead of crates - Special Vehicles mk2 with better armor and new upgrades (cause no one uses them right now) - And most impotently, new delivery methods: And If they don't want to mess something up with the original I/E, just give us another garage. Or...a hangar. They could combine I/E theme with upgrades for pre-smugglers run aircrafts. So it would work just like the regular SR hangar but on the left you would store cars instead of crates. Theres surly enough of space there. edit: Probably because Opressor mk1 and DeathBike already replaced all the need for other bikes in the game. Tho I would love to have some electric bikes / bicycles with boost just for fun. I mean when was the last time we seen a new bicycle in this game?

I haven't even been playing at all lately. All I've heard is that there's this new money glitch and some people, including innocents, have had their characters completely reset, and that there is a God mode pandemic going on. Sometimes it's just great to take a break from this broken game. Looks like I won't be visiting this game anytime soon. PSN's expired and have no desire to renew it.

Said it before I am tired of saying it but for f*cks sake, can we stop getting sh*t for new players. Don't you dare f*cking tell me that RDO is "beyond expectations" and yet each week R* is begging people to play and yet has stopped bonuses for players that are already established. I don't care of it's an extra twenty-five percent on Moonshiner, Trader, Collector or Bounty Hunter. Give me a damn reason to jump on to the game.

What about an electric motorcycle?

Gotta be honest, I'm finding the number of people saying they didn't do the glitch but got wiped a bit hard to swallow. I neither did the glitch or got wiped but if I did it would be the end of me and Rockstar. The grindy game design is absolutely the root cause of money glitches. I've always been lucky in this game, took a 900 million dollar bounty back on ps3 and while most people got reset to 500k, I didn't log in for a while and somehow kept a ton of cash (not the full amount but a couple hundred mil) and vehicles. Ah, the halcyon billionaire days. Freeroam was such a blast, you could fully mod a street car a give it to a noob to sell for 100k, which was decent money back then. Any classic dead hooker glitch veterans around? I did participate in that cause having to pick up, trap, execute then stash a dead hooker was so fkn grim but seemed to fit gta so perfectly . Og gta that is, not try-hard, squeaker, pay-2-win, broomstick, KD-peen grind theft auto (ban) gta.

Playing for two hours last night, max player session I had was seven (and briefly); otherwise it was 3-4 or less--even had my own solo session for a good 30-40 minutes! ...even found yet another daytime treasure map on my favorite tree. Rock on.

Now this is way better then all K/D warrior brags. Mega props man!

If they resurrect the "Special Vehicles" I'd love if they could add a warehouse/garage to customise the other Pegasus land vehicles, not unlike what happened with hangars.

Different era, different Rockstar, different times - nobody knows what they have in store or how they'll go about things. For the record I was here for the infamous drought of 2011/12 and have been playing GTA since '97 - it's unclear why users like yourself attempt to take a higher ground over others because you've experienced said droughts before and they presumably haven't - like thats some kind of f*cking achievement.
