NY sounds boring as sh*t TBH.

Well maybe they just throwing us a bone after all those years? Since its gonna be the last update on the current gen maybe they want to give us something nice? Or maybe its a teaser of things to come? Basically a commercial/demo for next gen content? "Here, theres a new place for you to play in but its completely empty/unacceptable for now, you can only use if for a single heist. You want more of this? Buy the game once again!" That could be applied to both LC and Santa Catalina. Maybe on old gen we can only access a small part of it in a heist but next gen unlocks the whole thing in freeroam? It would be like re-releasing RDR2 again but this time with the whole island of Guarma. edit: unless... Santa Catalina = last update on this gen and LC = next gen. But thats a pipedream for now. The Fort Zancudo UFO. Someone already recreated it by spawning those props.

The 7 months drought has almost been been beneficial for Rockstar because now they can literally drop anything and a large majority of the player base will lap it up like gods gift. An example being the lacklustre items from Gus, the incredibly lazy and mediocre legendary garments and how not many people seem to care that Bills outfit and Javiers outfits are just skins.

Other than maxing out all of the roles to 20 for consistency's sake, and then saving up and buying a few things here and there that they want or need and then... stop playing. Wanna know how I know? That's how I stopped playing after the 7 month sh*t show that we had. If they want to keep new players engaged, they need to drop updates consistently after every 3 or 4 months. I still haven't forgotten about those 7 months, and if I hear that the pandemic has something to do with the delay for the next update I am going to sh*t my pants.

Rockstar did a damn good job in recreating NYC in GTA4. From the gentrification of the neighborhoods in the mid 2000s, to the people who roamed them; Rockstar absolutely nailed the NYC atmosphere. There are other examples but the point is Rockstar kicked ass with its creation of NYC and left little behind...except of course Staten Island. With that said, if they were to ever bring LC back in my opinion I don't think they'll want to do so on current gen assuming it's more than just a map. If it's just a map for us to drive in featuring the same npcs, stupid AI we've gotten used to in this now 7+ old game, fine. But If their intent is to want to 'WOW' us like they did in 2008 they would rather do so on newer hardware to better show off an updated LC with a more lively city that current gen systems would struggle to do. I hope it's the latter because it would suck to see LC thrown in while looking and feeling like the now old gta 5. A LC with updated graphics, tons of npcs roaming and going about their business, increased traffic, and other improvements would be much more preferable.

Good to see Watch Dogs getting some praise. You praise an Ubisoft game around here you get crucified.

I don't see any sort of changes to the original locations. However, new occurrences or incidents were added to Madam Nazar, some lines can affect your gameplay now. To be specific, the lines with new effects are the Shadow figures, the Man with Evil intentions, "take care with your drink", "great and furious judgment from the sky" and "vengeful figure from your past, and a reward for your death". The drink one is tied with Peyote Plants, at least that's what I can see, but I'm not sure so I can't confirm.

I'm playing Watch Dogs 2 right now and holy sh*t, I'm shocked how incredibly detailed and beautiful the map is and how alive the world feels. I was not expecting that from Ubisoft, I thought R* makes best open worlds. NPCs do so many different activities and they are actually pretty smart. The same goes for Police. There are many random events happening on the streets all over the city while GTA pedestrians mainly just walk around and that's it. GTA 5's world feels dead and looks boring and generic compared to it. And NPCs are mindless zombies really. WD2 has worse shooting and driving mechanics than GTA 5 but in terms of world details and how alive it feels, it wipes the floor with GTA 5, I'm dead serious. I hope GTA 6 raises the bar significantly

The new location cannot be North Yankton. It has to be somewhere else. As far as I'm concerned, North Yankton is in the GTA 5 history book and it should stay there for the rest of eternity. Besides, you wouldn't be able to do sh*t over there. There would be no luxurious mansions or anything like that. Players would probably get tired of the snow after a while (i know i would). Tbh though, I'm sticking by R*'s wording. I think we might actually see a complete new location like the Santa Catalina Island. I doubt we'll see LC in GTA 5.

Since the cool popped collars of most of Ruvik's outfits glitch his hair I had to change his list of outfits for the time being. Most of the time you'll see us running around with the well used ranch hand look. And I used my free emote coupon on that Watch emote, although it doesn't fit Ruvik as a character as he kinda does what he does when he wants to do it. Gonna admit that it's actually a well animated emote, I ain't gonna lie. The coin one is pretty cool, but that cougar one and the hypnotize one are not my thing.

Hey everyone! so, the new discounts in all boats made me think about it. if we are gonna get a map expansion, boats and water vehicles can be a part of it.... I would love to get new boats and other water vehicles and be able to store and customize. The ability to buy a harbor can be limitaded in gta online, its a property outside. I remembered a solution, an inside-harbor, like we can have on The Crew 2. And if a map expansion is a possibility, its a opportunity to add some new properties. I think this its a very cool idea, what do you guys think? Also hovercrafts.... when?

Thanks to the advanced camera, no more portrait shots where your character just stands there like a cardboard cutout, looking over the camera, while pulling faces like they're sucking on a wasp... You've got a decent bit more flexibility with positioning the camera, and it looks like they do more idle animations while they're standing there, which is useful. Same outfit, basic camera, and no, not re-enacting the ending of Predator - that's what happens when you're trying to find a really stupidly-placed collectible (which turned out to be some crummy penny...), and you spend half an hour wading through streams and sliding down hillsides (face-first... ), because the metal detector's in "I'm going to let you guess where it is today!" mode...

litterally any map expansion besides north Yankton would be cool. f*ck north Yankton. cool gimmick ig but overall it's a snowy sh*thole. I personally would like to see lc more than Catalina island, but Catalina island would be pretty neat too. edit: also a mashup of Catalina island and San Clemente would be pretty neat. there's an air force base on San Clemente. the heist could have something to do with that. irl San Clemente is kind of near where those "tictac ufo" videos were recorded off the Nimitz aircraft carrier. they could maybe reference that in the heists.

You know what would be a good thing to add? The ability to sell stuff we Craft like cooked meats and Tonics. No bullsh*t Role where you need to buy a "Tonic Crate" or whatever for stupid amounts of Gold or whatever, just the ability sell stuff from our inventory to shops. Nothing like an in game economy just making and selling for a higher price than selling the parts individually. R* could fleece money from people by them needing to purchase the expensive Pamphlets to craft better stuff. People could start their own small side business by just collecting plants and brewing Tonics at their Camp to sell.

I really hope this isn’t the case and rockstar hasn’t spent their time coming up with an idea that we transform into animals. Who actually asked for this? Do the devs just sit around a table and ask what’s fun let’s add that. Flying horses and jet packs are also fun but I wouldn’t want them in rdr2 either. This games slides away from the masterpiece of story mode with every update and at this rate will end up just as ridiculous as gta.

It'd be nice if all the other wheel types in the game got a revamp similar to what the offroad wheels have seen. maybe this is a minor thing to be bugged about but the tires on all the other aftermarket wheels do look kind of off

Watch Dogs 1 pretty sucked to be honest but WD2 is a very very solid and fun game and as I said the world created in game is incredible. And it's a real world city too (San Francisco) with all the landmarks recreated to the tiniest detail. The fun coming from the gameplay is not much worse than GTA V, probably even better in some parts. I would say the fun from these two games is very comparable overall. Ubisoft did a great job.

I’m glad they are focusing their resources on important things like the Imorgan speed glitch. We can all sleep better now. Never mind the Orbital Cannon glitch or the Titan crate glitch or the iFruit app that no longer works...fix that Imorgan.

How about the Exemplar

Lots of Raspberries around Little Creek and Southfield Flats, Lots of Blackberries in Tall Trees... Badgers not sure as I've not seen any where they usually spawn, but should be a lot around Rhodes and Tall Trees. I still think when there is an animal Daily Challenge, they down spawn in as often but not got the data to really check, it's probably a placebo effect to be honest but couldn't find any Chipmunks when they were a daily but been finding loads since.

I am level 416 and have never done any heists, I guess that makes me a rookie idiot in your eyes then? One of the reasons why I haven't really started getting into them is because I know other players in them will just assume I know all the ins and outs out of pure ignrance assumption because I am a relatively high level.

Speak for yourself man, I bought my yachts on day one and have spawned on them and AFKed on them regularly ever since. It’s nice to have something that not everybody has and that takes a lot of money to afford, it actually gives them some semblance of status. Collecting the weapons that spawn there has probably nearly paid for the yacht by now, add in the money earned from piracy prevention (which is one of the few fun PvP FR activities. Not trying to discount your opinion, just saying I have and still do love mine and I know more than a few other players who feel the same. Adding these missions which are actually light and quirky and fun only sweetens the deal IMO. R* finally adds something to do with them and people still manage to find a reason to B&M about it.. Hopefully the Blaine County Radio shirt will be a login reward in the coming weeks, I’ll be bummed if it ends up as event cargo.

They will query the UG-MP server to obtain server rules (rules means properties in this case) such as the server language, gamemode, and map name.
