RyanDri3957V and 9 others reacted to The'Truth for a topic
Hello. This is The Truth from the Grand Theft Auto: Underground Total Conversion mod team and today I am here to introduce a little mod I made. This is a custom neon pack made for Vice City which includes lots of crazy, coloured neons in places you would never imagine. It is also compatible with the GTA: San Andreas Modification called "GTA Underground". Mods required (for GTA Vice City): - III.VC.SA.LimitAdjuster. - Any .IMG tool (I personally use IMG Factory). (Installation guides are in the download files). Credits: -dkluin: For teaching me how to do it in the first place. Ya rock man. -RzDat: For helping me packaging and additional testing. -aap: For helping me fix a pesty bug. -ThirteenAG and Tomasak: Emotional and mental support. Reuploading or modifying this mod without proper credits to the author (me) and proper linking to the original mod is stricly prohibited. Download V1.0 (GTA UG - GTA SA modification): https://drive.google.com/file/d/12Ndh6X1i-mcSC4lxl1kxf8ZfMUIETRAH/view?usp=sharing Download V1.0 (GTA Vice City): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xF1rAvI2SPgUi4gc0jZZfeLvmvd_5A6b/view?usp=sharing Download V1.1 (GTA Vice City): https://drive.google.com/file/d/11waW4E0pW9Ipa6Wu7-cTPm1fYgmrr2oX/view?usp=sharing Screenshots: Warning: Some neons might have the side effect of actually looking decent. I apologize for this incovinience.10 points -

It's been a while, but I still have Orange Flame, but now on PC. And unlike most cars, I've had to do no special changes to this car aside from making the suspension softer and raising the top speed. It's excellent. This is still one of the most beautiful cars Rockstar has designed. I'm serious. It's just damn near perfect. And stately. And it manages to look pretty close to the real thing while still being its own thing. Like they really just about took all of the good things about the real Continental GT and incorporated them into the Paragon R. Honestly, I didn't like the back when I first saw it. And it took a while after I drove it to like the back despite loving everything else. But I felt the same way with the real Continental GT, which has a very odd rear end. But over time it grew on me. And then I saw one in person in Jetstream II and had the opportunity to get some shots of it with the DSLR: Very odd, but it just ends up working doesn't it? And now I actually think it's quite gorgeous and unique. Surprisingly I can say the same thing about the Paragon R: I don't know. It's just a great car. For an unlicensed video game car, they really went all out. This is one of very few cars that I can compare side-by-side to its real-life counterpart and not feel like Rockstar's version looks cheap. Even if they do a good job on a car it usually never holds a candle to the real thing. While I still think the real Continental GT looks better, looking at them side-by-side, it doesn't make the Paragon R look like sh*t. I mean. This thing is over a year old and I still absolutely love it. If there's any qualms I have about it: it probably needed a bespoke interior. Completely new and unique. But they did at least take a Specter interior and adjust it a bit and keep it colorable so I can't complain that much. It just looks great, really. And it drives pretty much how you hear reviewers describe the new Continental GT. It's just a good car. It's good at everything. Fast but smooth and no compromises on anything. Completely 100% well rounded. It is the ultimate car. Rockstar usually butchers modern cars. This isn't the case. Why can't they do this good of a job with all cars? Like, please. You. Will. Make. More. Money. If. You. Make. Everything. This. F*cking. Good. !!!9 points -

Same, I genuinely find both of them quite funny. Mk2 is a pure cancer though: no fun and no balance. Mk1 is mostly fun, but it negates every other bike in game and that's my only issue with this thing. Map debates are over for me: only new game will bring me back. New map with all the restrictions and on this ancient engine is well.. not enough for me. Engine overhaul, destructible environment, more advanced physics, more in-depth character customization and a new map would be great. Ported new map from IV or so, I don't know. New is only good for exploring and there's nothing to explore in Liberty in 12 years. New map = new game for me. Mini-island could be done but what will we do with that? Will be crowded most of the time and strafed by combat jets.7 points -

This has become exceptionally tiresome, not least because you still refuse to address the vast majority of my points. I also can't help but notice what you decided to ignore or omit from your responses above, which in some cases actually respond to the questions you're now posing in response. For the avoidance of doubt, I'm no longer routinely responding to you chasing your tail or repeatedly misrepresenting my position, I'll simply state as such without more explanation. It's a waste of both of our time for me to have to ask you to repeatedly quantify your assertions or provide evidence that I've said things I haven't, especially given you seem pathalogically incapable of actually doing either. Not if that individual is clearly debating in bad faith, refusing to properly engage, repeatedly misrepresenting the position of their opponent and resisting any attempts to support their assertions with evidence. As I said above, I was primarily being flippant. But let's say for the sake of argument the answer is "yes", your following premises: Are clearly false. Firstly, I never made the argument that protest wasn't a form of assembly, just that I never used the specific phrase "peaceful protest". Assembly as a term is broader than just protest- for instance, many of the marches and vigils that have taken place are exercises in assembly but do not fit the traditional definition of a "protest". Secondly, the burden of proof does rest on you as even if I acknowledge the term "peaceful assembly" was a reference to recent events. That peaceful assembly has taken place is an undeniable fact and one you yourself have both implicitly and explicitly accepted in your own comments. By saying "a majority" of protests have seen violence, you are categorically stating that some have not (and have therefore undeniably been exercises in "peaceful assembly".) The philosophical burden of proof is particularly important when challenging an accepted status quo. This is why it lies on you, not on me; I think we would both acknowledge that the accepted status quo is the view that, in the words of CNN, the protests have been "mostly peaceful". You are the one contesting that status quo view, and therefore the burden of proof rests on you to substantiate your contrary assertion (that a majority of protests have been violent). I have been clear and consistent in this all along; nothing in the above section could possibly be construed as inconsistent or contradictory to my previous positions. I simply assumed, evidently falsely, that you already had a conceptual understanding of the philosophical burden of proof and where it rests. In short, it would appear that you know not of what you speak. There's not really any common ground to find between you repeatedly asserting I said something I didn't, and me directly citing myself to prove that fact. Oh dear. Here I was thinking we might make some progress but it seems we've gone backwards. If you can't quantify the sorts of amounts or types of example then your experience isn't very useful. What's your evidence for the assertion that protests aren't taking place "in numbers worth mentioning" in smaller towns? Moreover, what's "a number worth mentioning"? Nice job of not answering the question. I'm not asking for the definition of "violent" (though I find it interesting you define it as "descending into a riot" when many protests have seen sporadic looting and violence that's absolutely not rioting, can we assume you exclude these?); I'm asking how you've determined whether a riot has taken place. As in, what is the source of evidence you draw on to conclude whether or not a riot has happened. It's really not; only someone who did not understanding either my arguments or the concept of burden of proof would believe such. Asserting "personal experience" and "proximity" is meaningless without an explanation of both. For all I know you could literally live in a log cabin in buttf*ck South Carolina and communicate via semaphore messages with nobody but other survivalists. If you want your "personal experience" and "proximity" to be taken seriously you should probably detail why you believe yourself to be an authority. Except we have nothing more than your assertion that you have "found evidence". And your assertion is of little value. You also completely fail to address the actual wording of CNN reporting on the subject; I suspect this is because we both know that the term "mostly peaceful" is a fair summary of a protest in which the vast majority of attendants do not engage in violent activity. Except anyone capable of basic reading comprehension can see I've done no such thing. Do you consider yourself to be "unbiased"? "Less biased" than CNN? You should probably stop, because I don't think a single "assumption" you've made throughout the course of this discussion has been remotely accurate. Maybe address what I actually say, rather than what you want me to be saying for the convenience of your arguments. There's that failure to comprehend basic English kicking back in. Hopefully your Russian is good enough to fall back on. Like what? Imaginary "unknown factors" don't constitute a coherent counter-argument. Any factor that is statistically significant is almost certainly known. Whereas you apparently excel in asserting statistical truth from zero statistical evidence. I really don't think you're in any position to be criticising anyone else's use of statistics given your abject failure to understand the basics of multiple statistical models you've been provided. It absolutely does though. You asserting that it doesn't will not change that fact. Your repetition of this does not change the fact that the alleged impact of this is is statistically unknown. Similarly, ignoring actually empirically demonstrable discrepancies and the inconvenient fact that the CDC acknowledge that not all Covid-19 fatalities are presumed, much less tested and confirmed, does not make these facts go away. Hence, your assertions are conjecture; they can be nothing but as by your own admission you have nothing more than speculation to support them. A qualified right is a qualified right. The degree of qualification is irrelevant, a right is either inalienable or qualified. You're the one who asserted that qualified rights aren't really right but privileges, it's your logic I'm employing here. I happen to think a qualified right can still be a right. Perhaps in the narrow blinkered context of an American indoctrinated with the Second Amendment, but broadly speaking I support the notion that any individual who wants to own a firearm should be legally allowed to do so. In the wider context of firearm regulation in Western countries, I would indeed be considered "pro-gun" by the vast majority. There is nothing anti-police about measures that work. If community sentencing approaches and rehabilitation-based policies have a proven track record of reducing reoffending- which they do- and if holistic social and economic policies can reduce offending rates in the first place- which they can- then no sane or rational person would reject these in favour of approaches that endanger literally everyone- police, offenders and bystanders- have greater overall economic costs to society, and create hostility between law enforcement and large sections of the population. Favouring viable approaches that reduce society risk is common sense, not "anti-police". Advocating for the continuation of disproportionately violent approaches that result police killings, and killings of police officers, in such great numbers that they make every other developed nation's look like a rounding error, is not being "pro-police", it's being a sadist. The same is true of in-person voting, and yet I don't see anyone clamouring for that to be outlawed. In either case, instances of electoral fraud in the US are not statistically significant, and paper ballot systems- which are the mainstay of mail-in voting but an ever dwindling portion of attendee ballots, are considered more secure by experts than paperless voting which is now used in a majority of states. Here we go, you asserting the presence of evidence again without even bothering to provide it. What an absolute waste of time. We all know there have been isolated incidents of mail-in ballot fraud, but the point stands that zero evidence exists of a concerted effort to conduct fraud in this manner.5 points -

Not Mafia Remake related, but here's a great interview article with Music Supervisor and Composer Jesse Harlin on Mafia 3. Apparently they didn't want to include too much funk since they didn't want to turn the game into Shaft or Coffy. Kinda funny in retrospect considering the soul station has the most songs in-game. They also talked a lot about the Southern blues influence on the dynamic score in the game, which is honestly pretty underrated. https://www.gamespot.com/articles/mafia-3-behind-the-music/1100-6443590/ I just hope the Mafia 1 remake and Mafia 4 will achieve the same level of quality in licensed music and original score.5 points -

We ran into some resistance (enough for my friend to later say he was glad he recruited us). We had just finished off one group about a minute before a lone rider popped on the screen. He was minding his own business, didn't approach us or get close and got off his horse to pick a flower. Not sure why he got off his horse, but he was in no way a threat to us. Someone in our posse one shotted him. I was furious. I was later told that the person said he thought it was funny and that I should get over it. I asked my friend not to invite me again if he couldn't control his posse members. I haven't gotten any more posse delivery invites from him and that's fine with me.4 points -
