My best friend's husky Buck aged 14 passed away recently and it's been really really devastating for both me and him, I knew that dog for almost 11 years and it's just soul tearing to lose him, I won't talk about it in detail because this forum is not about it Today me and my friends went to an invite-only session together to talk about it, the 6 of us, we were talking about how devastating it is, me and my friends were talking about Buck and appreciating how good of a dog he was but then someone joined us and said "f*ck u and ur dog u will be buried in sh*t like him ez low KD noobs keep crying u lifeless braindead kids" then he used his mod to troll us then he crashed our games No one invited him to join, no one insulted him, no one talked to him or even mentioned him, no one threatened him or messed with him, we were just minding our own business at these hard moments and he just got in our invite only session which is supposed to be private for us and trolled us for no reason, I don't know how did he join our invite-only session as no one invited him or even knew him among my friends And if you're going to say the internet is full of bad people, I've played many toxic community games before, but none has been so ignorant and emotionless like this, it's amazing how ignorant and toxic this community can sometimes be, a group of people minding their own business in an invite-only session then somehow a modder joined them and trolled them for no reason at all I think the right thing to do now is to quit this game, probably Warframe has a better community, but I basically can't take it anymore, this can't be, no one can be so ignorant and emotionless, No one can be so reckless like that. You guys are blowing the size "issue" out of proportion, the dimensions are fine: P.S.: My Dubsta2 has the lowest suspension while my Seminole has a roof bar and the stock suspension. And this is a comparison between itself with and without a lift kit: It's just to drive the point home that the Cherokee XJ is a small SUV, always has been. The car we got in the game is a authentic, factory stock model, not a lifted version. There's no winning with you guys, is it? On the Hellion, Streiter and specially on the Yosemite threads you see lots of people asking for the factory stock models without any lift kit...And here you guys are asking for this SUV that is meant to be factory stock to be as big as the lifted off-roaders, LOL! Y'all need to grow the f*ck up and figure out what you want. Rockstars designers drops the ball a lot of times, but this time with this SUV they did not.

I may be newish on these forums, but I've lurked for years. I was there when GTA 1 and 2 became big cult hits. I remember even the few adults I knew at the time when I was 12, 13, wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Then GTA 3 was coming around the corner and I remember being the only one in my circle who was so excited. It's weird to me now, but on the day of release they all bought Smackdown 3! I was the only one who got GTA 3. It's amazing the word of mouth that game had, because its popularity spread so quickly after a few weeks, and I loved that time period leading up to Vice City. IDK why I'm babbling random nostalgia. I guess that's how I feel right now. Lazlow and the Housers became kind of house-hold names in my neck of the woods. Over the years I got to listen to Lazlow on Opie and Anthony, and his own show, and I realized just how important he was to the overall tone of the series. The radio and so many of the fake brands, newspapers in RDR, the Internet in GTA 4 and 5, NPC dialogue, the Cabaret shows in 4 and RDR 2, basically so much of the satire, is in no small part down to Lazlow (and Dan of course) and he's experience in radio and advertisement. And let's not forget the hundreds of hours of music and dialogue he produced and mastered. I think some people don't realize how important he was. A lot of people seem to think of him as just a whacky character on the radio and in GTA Online. When Dan Left I feared Lazlow was next. I'm worried about the tone of the games. Yes they still have hugely talented people, and the more serious and realistic graphics and design in the game is in no small part to people like Rob Nelson. He's still there. And Aaron Garbut is, too. And of course so is our fearless leader, Sam Houser. But my excitement level for GTA 6 has dropped significantly in the past year. No, this isn't some "I'm not gonna buy it - but I will" rhetoric, I will buy it at midnight. But I feel these changes will affect the tone, and perhaps narrative, of the games I love so much, for better or worse. There's already talk of releasing GTA 6 in small portions, which could vastly change how we experience the game. It might still be a masterpiece, and funny as hell too. But not quite the same brand of humour, and writing style, I've come to love so much for 20 plus years. It DOES feel like Beaver Hollow right now. It also feels like GTA 5 has kind of been a poisoned chalice. It had success beyond the company's wildest dreams, but that game and RDR 2 seem to have been the old gang's last ride.

To be honest, I wish they'd update all the OG heists so we can do them via only two-players.

I just want to do my heists solo.

Sorry to read about the doggo, that's sad news. I've got an originally homeless cat who's got FIV now and each day that passes where he's still his normal self, is a blessing. Also sorry to read about the shenanigans you've had to put up with - I'll guess you're on the PC platform. Rockstar are you listening or reading? Are you actually? Yeah the idea of players being able to put in your personal Rockstar Games ID number and join you in any session is a farce, and the idea of them being able to crash your game without even being in the same session is pathetic. And now Rockstar Games has lost another member of its community. What an impeccable game.

It appears Rockstar added a new variable that allows them to disable the original Heists cloth restrictions if they wish to, worth noting that the cop outfit is locked away as part of the restrictions.

If that happens the game would turn out as a bloated, incoherrent, convoluted mess. It should have a focused creative vision, not 5000 people stirring up sh*t in a pot. Communicating with consumers for maintaining an online game is necessary but for a single player game, nah mate, 3-4 people handling creative direction is more than fine.

Reduced number of players required for Freemode Events from 5 to 3 players. (Except for Hunt of the Beast that still requires 10 players). In addition, the time it takes for an event to launch has been reduced from 30 to 20 minutes.

They've filled the miracle trash bin in the Stab City survival. God, it isn't even that much money, why the f*ck are R* so petty? Hey r* while you're making the game better, just delete pegasus from our phone book. Better yet, delete all our f*cking guns from the game.

The moving fee should be reduced to $0 if you completed all the Yatch missions IMO.

Do you guys want a dark and depressing story or light and uplifting story? I personally want a mix of both. Have its fun moments and also have some really dark moments.

Lazlow leaved Rockstar games i can't believe it , a trully GTA legend much respect for him. The radio stations Will never be the same, i learned almost all the English i can speak listening to chatterbox a trully underrated piece. Dear lazlow You Will be missed and thanks for all this years of entertainment

The R* I loved and grew up with died a long time ago. This just adds more dirt to its grave.

It may seem like all I do is bitch bout these damn cars but... this one... this one might be alright. Nobody asked for this car, in fact a Cullinan would've suited more people's tastes. BUT, I was probably one of the biggest askers for the Cullinan and yet this one kind of scratches that itch. I think this might be an all around great car once you get past that hideous dashboard. I mean. It looks great. As you know, I based mine off of Lincoln Chromo Crystal Blue. The mods help it to look like a Black Label. And the choice of interior color is what makes it the Black Label Chalet theme. All of that stuff aside, it's not made to be a fast car. You would drive this thing like you'd drive a Rolls. And that's exactly what I do. And it does so excellently. Smooth, quiet, the suspension is high and soft. I don't know, it's just a great car. Did anyone ask for it? Maybe a few people. But is it really that bad? No. It has style, class and presence. And it is a nice change from canyon carving exotic sports cars. Honestly, I love this thing. I had about 3 SUVs I regularly drove: the Toros, the Baller LE and the Dubsta. The Toros is a sports car really, the Baller LE is in between and a bit too stiff, and the Dubsta is just too simple and kind of slow; better for off-roading. But this though? It's the Rolls of the SUV class. It looks the glitziest and it rides smooth and it's just nice. I just wish the interior was colorable in Online and that there were more amenities in the backseat.

This is his bio from his own LinkedIn page, he clearly contributed creatively across many aspects of writing and production for GTA, Red Dead and even Max Payne. Rockstar is of course not just a one-person show and for him personally maybe leaving is a good thing, but the stuff he has done for the company is what will be remembered by many.

This seems like a huge creative loss for Rockstar, he seemed to have a very close working relationship with Dan and maybe he just wants something different without him there. Based on his Instagram post however, I can't imagine to begin what he has had to go through with his family. It looks as though he has many projects ahead, so best of luck to him.

Sorry to hear that, OP. I've long been of the mind that PC GTA is so poor that I'd never play there. Something should have been done long ago, but unfortunately after this long and seeing RDRO is no better, I think R* just don't care or know what to do to help make the game safer. Hope you feel better soon though.

I like to think of Sports. There's always someone in the bench who will eventually become a starter and even be better than the current starter. Tom Brady comes to mind. Coming in no one gave him a shot. Drafted in the 6th round he was on the bench. Pretty much sat out his rookie year aside from 1 game that wasn't impressive at all. In his second season he gets put into the game once the starter got injured Drew Bledsoe who nobody remembers now. Very quickly he established himself and won a superbowl in his second season he then goes on a legendary run and is considered one of if not the greatest QB of all time. All that wouldn't have happened if Bledsoe didn't get injured. For all we know whoever replaces Dan, Lazlow, and the rest of these high profile departures might take us to new heights and give us better written stories and even funnier satire and stuff that wouldn't happen if the same people stayed. There is always someone waiting for that promotion and now is their chance to shine. But there is always a high chance they could also suck, focus more on online and we'll all be angry at them if the next game is terrible.

I was just reading through all his credits and he's done so much writing alongside Dan, was audio director for RDR2, wrote all the theatre stuff in RDR2 as well. Crikey.

Too bad none of the photographers in the game are any good at making portraits. Our characters do a much better job of it themselves. Waiting at Coot's Chapel in anticipation of her perfect day... ...what could possibly go wrong?

If only we could get thunderstorms like that in freemode. You've no idea how I just wanted to hop onto a Seashark and just jet off those waves. Or an Aqua Blazer, that one can submerge itself a bit better. But alas, we don't get fun waves like this in freemode...

For everyone else I am working on a slightly new Daily Challenge list, where the on https://rdodailies.com you'll be able to right click on the challenge to increase it by 1 and left click decrease it by one, so for multiple challenges like 5 canned foot eaten, if you eat 2 of them you can just right click twice to mark them off, so you know how many more you need to do to complete that challenge... I mean this probably doesn't make sense until it's actually live I guess, but I think it works great, and you can of course tick off the challenge completely instead of using the increasement clicks.

I made a weird discovery earlier today whilst gathering up a bunch of unused GXT lines. I was sifting through american.gxt when I noticed that Love Fist actually has a fourth mission entry; "ROCK_4 Love Fist!!". So I did a little bit of investigating and found there were no audio or further GXT lines for this mission, but I looked in the cutscene.img and noticed there are actually cutscene animations and data for it still left? I checked them out in 3DS Max and saw 4b/c/d are all kinda corrupted, but not really in the traditional sense? They just all use Tommy's animation from the No Escape cutscene, with the exception of Dick in 4d, which is him sat at a bar drinking. I put the first cutscene in-game to see how it looks: It seems that maybe you and Paul were to go somewhere together given how the cutscene ends? Assuming this is not another reused cutscene's files like the prior discoveries. The set of cutscenes feature Tommy & Kent in 4a, Tommy & Jezz in 4b, Tommy, Paul & "bounca" in 4c, and Tommy, Paul & all of Love Fist in 4d. I've no idea what these could've been, it's a real shame there's nothing else left over. I checked alt languages on both PC & PS2 as well as PS2 anim files but they're the same (4b-d just using same anims). There is also no ROCK4 cutscene audio on PS2 either sadly. I don't know about XBOX or Mobile or Japan versions, but I imagine they don't have anything extra either, but either way though I'm surprised nobody's discovered this (or if so hasn't mentioned it) before.

Maybe because Dan left he left too. You gotta remember that they worked closely together. With him gone along with adding his personal family situation I guess it made sense for him to leave.

Sorry to say this (i know i said i would drop this) but if you've actually paid any sort of attention to his fictional characters appearances then what i mentioned should've come as no surprise, did you not hear the mental breakdown his character had on several of the radio stations/in several of the games? Mentions of trying to crawl out of a dark hole/leave his past behind him? How hes referred to as washed up failed celebrity by pretty much everybody in several games? Didnt you notice the fact that hes bscly crying in your GTA:O nightclub if you dont keep the party going?
