I'm glad the games are performing well, but I can't help but notice there seems to be a difference in viewpoints here between the customer-base and R*. Us: damn game is broken, plz fix R*: Hey Bill, check out these sales and performance figures! This game is thriving, we must be doing something right.

And this is exactly why the Mk2 is too OP, and therefore is a problem. This is why we complain. This, ladies and gentleman, is some straight up bullsh*t right here. I was off radar trying to blow up some choppers at the airport for the free mode event. I see an Mk2 vermin ahead of me, but I was too late. By the time I pressed to get out of the car, the f ucker had already locked onto me. And by the time I even fully got out of the damn car, he had already pressed fire and the rocket was coming towards my car. My car explodes, which causes an NPC car to explode, which then kills me. I got taken out before I could even react and fire a single f ucking bullet. This thing requires NO skill to use, and that's why it's so OP. The game does most of the work for you by snapping on the target, and all you have to do is press one button, not to mention its extremely good tracking. Getting kills on this thing is just effortless. Either remove this deformity, or disable the stupid nonsensical lock-on on non-weaponised vehicles to prevent these desperate dicktards from getting cheap easy kills. All I ever see is Mk2s take out people driving in their non-weaponized cars. The worst part is that these scrubs actually think it makes them good at the game, which is just plain sad. F uck you, Cuntstar, you greedy money-hungry pieces of dirt.

I’ve always wished Rockstar added a prison system to free roam. Example.... Players commit crimes and become wanted. If the player gets caught they go to jail. While in jail they can attempt to escape or ride out their sentence. If there crimes and wanted level were higher and more severe, they would have a death sentence with a hanging schedule. There would be a count down timer to scheduled hanging. This timer would give players a time-frame to either escape or be broken out of jail by other players. ( perhaps friends or posse members). Its an idea I got while watching westerns lol. Going to jail and jail breaks are very popular scenarios in a Wild West setting. I personally think it would be fun to escape jail and/or break a friend out of jail.

I don't know what's more absurd, a system specifically designed to deter dupe glitches also affecting legitimate players or that said system is so easy to bypass and has done jacksh*t to actually deter duping.

The article says "massive rewards for all players". So where are the "massive" rewards for long time players? The way I see it, these "massive" rewards are just for newcomers once again. For veteran players, these are nothing.

It doesn't matter, this system can't tell the difference. It'll catch careless dupers (like the OP) AND burn legit players.

I'm pleased about the returning Limited Stock clothing, more of this R*, although, with it all being cold weather clothing, it might have made sense to make this particular batch available again when we had the snow. Now, as for the rest of the Newswire. F*ck me. I've got the guns and don't need the ammo, why? Because I've been playing since 2018. F*ck new players, if you're thanking anyone, thank the players you're currently taking for granted. The bonuses and discounts are sh*te, because I'm not a new player. The Hardie Boots are alright, some of the colour combinations are bizarre. That f*cking Birdwell Hat though.

You know what I'd think of what a better reward would be? A "Keep the hats you loot from NPC's" week. You'd be able to get something you can pick out yourself and have use for, at least. But no, we get care packs and "if you haven't picked this role yet" bonuses. Thanks, but no thanks.

Not a word in the general direction of: "we're working on a fix for all your issues!" I don't know how they measure the growing numbers of players in RDO. If this is by logins, I can see that amount growing with the many times one needs to reboot the game to make it work again. Sure, I see the amount of low rank players in the lists, though the numbers of high ranked ones are dwindling.

Once-rarely happening- I was sourcing an IE car in a public lobby, the moment I entered in my Cargobob, I saw a white blip becoming Broomstick blip, that guy travelled half of the map to blow me up, when he reached me I was already on foot, going to kill NPC who kept the car(Vinewood Bowl mission). That guy was lost lol, for 30 secondes he waited that I enter again in my Cargobob to get a lock on me, I then dropped BST, switched to first person and free aimed him with Assault Rifle. He died, respawned, registered as CEO and boom, I triggered a solo lobby to source the car in peace and bring it to my warehouse. 1-0 forever

So they are giving stuff away that we already have. What a nice "THANK YOU" to your day one players that made it so successful for Rockstar. @ghostsoap01 is so right...There seems to be some real disconnect from them. I wish I lived in the reality they do.

Gauntlet power! I still believe the Gauntlet Classic is the best looking, best modeled, most asked and anticipated car in GTA ever, but hey not everyone can appreciate perfection. And thanks to Rockstar about the latest car additions because my car collection in this game is precious and will always make me return to this wonderful game!

After being merged twice with 22+ player lobbies I try a Cripps resupply for a last chance for a working lobby. "My buddy would like to have a whitetail deer" I search for 8 minutes, only to find...

Well, looks like the sketches will take a "little" longer to be finished yet again, as most of the free time I used to have before at weekdays is gone. But it's for a good reason! I'll try to finish them in any time I have left at weekdays. If not possible, I'll do that at weekends. The Dinka Tokage sketch is already done. So, I'll ask you guys: should I post each finished drawing separately or wait for the usual "three sketches' posts"? I'm going to do the former approach on my Instagram profile, but I'm not sure what to do in here. What do you think?

I really love how we are discussing a balanced counter for something that is broken beyond believe. Something that will stay broken no matter how many counters you design because its own design is broken. That being said I also dont see a way to add a counter to the mk2 that would not be broken by itself. It would either have to be so OP by itself that everything else would suffer aswell (like the explo sniper to counter jets that also pretty much ruined everthing else) or so weak that it would be ineffective. You dont counter broken things, you fix them.

This is the most plausible explanation IMO. Last night I was in a session with only 12(!) players--and it was amazing in terms of animals and random encounters. Within 10 minutes I had an ambush and a rescue in the same area of Lagras that I usually see nothing in the sessions of 20+ that I usually get dumped into. When the player numbers started going up after a while to 19+, the random encounter just outside of Rhodes (Lemoyne Raiders with an NPC tied up) repeated itself--first time worked fine, then the second time the NPCs just stood there completely unresponsive while I picked them off with my Rolling Block...only the policeman said anything, and he somehow managed to free himself. Go figure. *facepalms* The fact that R* can't get their act together on this really bothers me--what can we trust them for in the future if they can't resolve issues that are now over a year old, and keep breaking code on a daily/weekly basis? It bears every hallmark of an issue that will never get fixed by the developers, much like lag and desync issues have plagued Escape from Tarkov since its launch.

Just ran into a new bug, the General Trader in Valentine had vanished. No NPC, no voice...no nothing. I told you that the issues are spreading. I mean literally spreading, like a virus or disease.

I fully agree with everything you say, though I would also say don't bother trying to get out of the car. Just EWO. I don't trust the physics and mechanics in this game to get me out of harms way. If EWO is available, f*ck it, I'm using it. Its a feature of the game. Of course, everyone will say 'yOu EwO kD wArRiOr'
