Been a while since I've posted on here, and since then I got bored with my previous characters appearance, especially since his face wasn't really customized to my liking since it was more a result of the bloating crisis than my own doing... So now about a week or two ago I've gone in and done a complete redesign: Elias H. Bettinger, Railroad Baron. I've been really happy with the results, so decided to throw this together.

Being an ex-R* employee, and especially not since 2006, doesn't give more weight to his opinion than any opinion, educated or not, thrown in this topic.

How is it that we're in 2020 and we still don't have a classic Patriot. I remember booting up the game for the first time thinking surely (am PC so it was just after heist update) it's going to be one of the first things they add because it was in every classic GTA. Also, it was (somewhat) teased in the first Warstock ad. They were especially unique and good looking in VCS and SA and I would have several in garages. Yet, here in GTA V we still don't have it's debut. The H1 I would argue is a cultural American vehicle. It is immediately associated with the US military, and as a peak off road vehicle. It's one of the few military vehicles that people who know next to nothing about the military can actually identify by name. It's sort of sad because modders have done it, and they honestly did it better than I think Rockstar would do if/when they do it. We have like 3 knock-offs of this vehicle in the game, and yet none of them scratch the itch or play the part. Me: Hey can we have ?? : No we have at home. At home:

No problem. Do note that the maps will be quite dark and that weather will look quite off outside of San Andreas. ----------------- Making progress on UG-MP again. The new parachute weapon type support patches are currently being tested (so parachuting with non-GTA: SA parachutes will work properly and the skydiving animations are synchronized properly as well) ---------------- A new video will be public later today which will cover the changes we made to the radio stations. Bravado Gauntlet Hellfire - 17 (-2) I approve of @Jenkiiii's idea that we could post our personal Top 5s after the game and maybe compare it to the results of this game by subtracting the cars' position on our Top 5 from the one it reached in the game, and then add it all up.

I think this game just shows how much muscles are loved...I knew one of these would win but wanted to vote for my third fave...the classic is a proper muscle car whereas the hellfire is modern muscle...still cool but I’m all about the vintage.

I feel, aside from the more unsavoury part to the Issi stuff which I'll do more to not do in future, the game has been pretty good fun overall. The Issi/Gauntlet thing was a good laugh in many ways and I've not seen here in a while. I enjoyed people being more passionate about their favourites. They have to fix the issue with animals, we are talking about an essential part of the game. Removing or adding a feature that's supposed to act like a solution to a problem isn't an actual fix, that's what Rockstar have done with GTA Online, the jets became a problem? Here's the new explosive sniper that can shut them down. What you are asking for is the same approach, animals aren't spawning? Remove the proximity system. Your camp isn't spawning? Here's a mission to take over someone's else camp. Eventually R* will start monetizing this approach, you are having a hard time dealing with a full posse? Here's the new armored wagon fitted with explosive machine gun to turn them into ash, and it will continue like that until Red Dead Online becomes GTA Online 2.0 About the relationship part, that doesn't apply to most if not all the griefers I have faced, so the majority won't become friends with you. And if your goal is to forge a friendly relationship with your opponent, maybe you should approach him with a friend request? Speaking of "griefers", it's not a matter of being afraid of them, it's more about whether is it worth it wasting your time on them. You never know if you might end up in a situation where you only have a maximum of 3 hours to play this game and you want to try out a new feature in free roam, then some griefer show up, forcing you to waste your time with him. The proximity system fix this issue, you could ignore him and he will have a hard time chasing you not knowing where you are. This system fix the griefing issue on all kinds of situations that you could end up in, a new DLC is released and you only have a few hours to try it out? Ignore the griefer and enjoy the new DLC. Your new friend is trying out the game on your console/PC and a griefer showed up? Simply ignore the griefer and let him explore the world. Also, the removal of the proximity system will just lead to the "absolute worst thing" that you hate, if I was a griefer, I'll exactly do what you just said, make use of the map to pinpoint your location while you're doing some delivery, destroy your cargo and disconnect. Wasting the time you spent hunting and pissing you off because you can't get revenge on me. You could disconnect during the delivery before I destroy your cargo, but you will lose it anyway as R* no longer save sale progress because they had to patch a money glitch. In other words, the proximity system is extremely useful and one of the great additions to the game.

There's nothing special about musclecars handling in GTA V, at least for me. I have both cars since they were available but I barely touch them. It's not surprising that muscles are wiining, because in the past muscle was the most requested class for the future car additions. Well, people love muscles and it shows. 1. The Battlefront 2 situation was a bit more than fans of the game getting united, it was seen as the final straw in a years long mishandling of the Star Wars franchise by EA but the press picked up on it in an instant because it was a big pivotal moment for how microtransactions, P2W and in-game gambling are viewed, there were even rumours that Disney stepped in once they saw the word gambling getting thrown around. It had a pretty substantial impact on microtransactions thereafter inside and outside the industry, with developers becoming sh*t scared of lootboxes and with politicians calling for a ban on them or some form of regulated. So RDO having a fundamentally broken system in their game (animals) which has gone unfixed for months is dwarfed in terms of scale when it comes to something like the BF2 scandal, but still, Rockstar's online portions of their games just don't have that same ability to draw eyes when it comes to stuff like this. It takes the Rockstar community far more effort to get something noticed than it does EA, Bethesda, Ubisoft, Activision Blizzard, etc. I don't really know why this is to be honest, as GTA V alone has sold more copies of games than many of their studios have sold games total, RDR2 is one of the best selling games of the generation (if not the best). In years gone by I'd put it down to the console crowd not being big on places like reddit but that's simply not true these days.

Communities surrounding online games almost always have their share of toxicity, but occasionally they can pull together when pushed too far, as shown with Battlefront 2. But think about it, it took a company the size of EA placing iconic characters like Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker behind ridiculous grinds in a Star Wars game, on top of the heavily implemented microtransactions, to get a fan base to come together enough to force real change and the issue into wide public circulation. The community surrounding GTAO could never, ever, come together in that way. As @Jason rightly pointed out, the online community surrounding R* games is small in comparison to those surrounding other developers and franchises, but you remember this place in 2016 and 2017 in the GTAO section, it was poisonous at times and places like Reddit were even worse. The RDO community seems to be, in the most part, far more friendly that that of GTAO, it also seems to have more of a collective idea on how the game should move forward. But I still doubt that enough of a collective could be formed to force R* into real change. You've only got to look at that monstrosity of a suggestion in the Next DLC thread about getting rid of proximity blips because forced free roam PvP is apparently what this game needs, there are too many "BuT iTz Da WiLd WeSt" players out there.

Imagine being scared of them actually nerfing it and trolling the conversation and getting people to reply to bait. It will be nerfed and you will be why.

Yeah, this game was f*ckin' crazy. And now it's down to two of my favorite cars in the update, and possibly the entire game. 1. Bravado Gauntlet Classic - 18 (-2) 2. Bravado Gauntlet Hellfire - 23 (+1) I'm only picking the Hellfire, because in real life I would rather get the Demon (or just a modern Challenger in general) before the original model. Also, the Hellfire has better performance than the Classic, even though I prefer the Classic's handling just a tad more. I think the Hellfire has a little bit more understeer, but overall it performs better than the Classic.

@Arrows to Athens bought this topic up about selected rims on the wrong type of cars. just look at this: Some players have no concept of even what tyres and rims to put on a pariah, I have nothing more to say therefore I took out my hammer and started to smash this junkyard metal piece of sh*t. I'm absolutely disgusted. PS: I admire the red/black colour combination though, I will give this individual a thumbs up for that
