If posts claiming to be "leaks" sound like they were typed up by an 8 year old Indian working at a call centre, it's not real. If a photo looks like it was taken on a 2004 cameraphone, it's not a real image. If you're on the paycheck of one of the richest developers in the world, you'll have a far better camera than that. If a person claiming to know undisclosed information refers to themselves or anyone else by name, they are 100% lying. NDA Agreements are not to be taken lightly, and suspected violation could be considered criminal behavior. That is all.

I really for the life of me can't understand why anyone would bother another player who's not interfering with them in any way. They gain nothing, and lose some ammo and everyone wastes their time. It's pure stupidity. If they want PvP action, do some showdowns FFS, that's what they're for! When I run into other players, If I or they are just riding by, I give them extra room. If I need to go near them to pick up a collectible for example, I'll give a wave first to signal I'm friendly. It's pretty rare anyone bothers me, really. Yesterday I got 2 panthers while collecting for dailies, but I'd already fulfilled my daily, so when I saw a couple of others nearby, I went over and dropped off the second panther in case one of them hadn't done the '3 predators' daily. They skinned it, so I assume they had already got theirs. Just trying to foster some community goodwill so people will realize that even if they run into some dickheads, hopefully they'll realize that we're not all dickheads. =============================================================================================================================== Yesterday's B&M: Had to do 2 bounties from New Austin. When I try to do a $$ where you have to catch the target who's riding in one of 2 wagons, it sends me from Armadildo all the way south of Fort Mercer, on those twisty mountain roads, so by the time I get about 3/4 the way there 'mission over-the bounty has escaped'. The f*cking timer hasn't even started FFS! Absolutely retarded mission design.

I decided to go back to my Beta idea of having different levels of layers of the same outfit instead of all different outfits. I like the continuity and the feel of putting items like a coat or fur chaps on or taking them off as the demands of the weather change rather than changing whole outfits on the fly.

Gauntlet Classic is my second favourite car in the game and the Hellfire is my number one of course.

Yes, I believe this is to add the exclusive content such as Photo Mode, new treasure maps and Bounty Hunting missions to Single Player as well as new content on Red Dead Online such as Salizzo Double Bandolier, Starrett Hat, Rulfo Boots, Gordillo Half-Chaps and new emotes. The size is 3 GB because we have to re-download the whole update file, while other platforms only download certain parts of the update file.

Yeah. We already have those leaks anyway. One point I'd like to make on Jason Schreier. He wasn't specifically saying that leak was fake, but rather those kinds of leaks usually are fake. And I agree. But every now and then, you get a real one. As we did with RDR2. Basic rule of thumb is = Fake until proven real. Keep it in mind, and when we get legit info, see what matches. It's kinda' what we did with the map leak, for RDR2. It felt like 70/30 in favour of thinking it was real. And when we got each trailers, we tried to see if any of the locations matched the map. Eventually we learned it was indeed real. The only problem is that there's an abundance of clearly faked 'leaks' Makes it harder to be impartial to the more believable ones. But ultimately, most leaks will be smaller ones, like CV's or trademarks. Reddit posts or screenshots and promises of 'news coming soon' are 99.9% fake trolls.

Defensive mode ≠ Passive mode. You aren't invulnerable, you take less damage than when in Offensive mode and you can't be auto aimed or painted. You can still be killed. I'm with Leftover Pizza on this. Don't feel guilty, think of it as a public service, someone needs to teach them some etiquette, manners and acceptable behaviour. It still baffles me. It must be either wanting to say they killed a high rank or it's completely mindless and devoid of all thought. Because, how they would see a player who has hundreds of hours more experience, more cash and gold than they can yet fathom and ability cards they can't overcome and still think that poking the bear is a good idea is beyond me.

I'm digging the simple and worn clothing style more and more. Besides it's more authentic, it doesn't make you stick out like a sore thumb when visiting towns or your speakeasy. The current stuff we get just doesn't float my boat and made me look at outfits and clothing items differently. Any new clothing following the current style is a waste of data for me, unless it's a nice looking belt or satchel.

The thing is, at this moment the only car I tolerate here apart from Paragon is the Drafter, because I find the handling as the most appropriate to the game engine. It's not like I don't like RWD cars, I've just closed Dirt Rally 2 after enjoying sweet Lancia 037 on the gravel of Greece. In GTA, however, RWD cars are just not interesting enough. With a properly implemented physic model you can powerslide with any RWD car with enough torque and skill, but in GTA it's just awful.

I don't get it either. I've never once seen another player going in and out of stores and thought "You know what would be funny, if I shoot them in the back and fire bottle their horse lololol". It's completely mindless. I can't say I don't get the appeal of freeroam PvP, when some idiot starts sh*t it is fun sometimes to teach them a lesson. I can't imagine it's fun for them, but maybe they don't care about how many kills they get or how many times they get killed, some do, the ones who parley and/or leave after attacking you, they care, they wanted an easy kill. The ones who keep coming even when they're getting slaughtered, they just want a reaction, I dislike wasting my time giving them what they want, but I get a video for Twitter and the Justice Served thread, so I'm going to say I come out on top there too. In the most part though, the players who randomly attack in freeroam are the ones who get owned in Showdowns, which is why they aren't in them playing structured, if completely unbalanced, PvP. I know there are some here who prefer freeroam PvP, but they all seem to have a code. They won't start fights, or if they do they'll go after red blips or those shooting up towns etc. which I'm fine with, it's the little sh*ts who shoot when you're trying to sell herbs or whatever who I have nothing but distain for.

Agreed. Gotta say though it’s rare nowadays that I get into fights with randoms. This past week I’ve been attacked twice, both times while in cinematic mode (I often switch that on while riding long distances). Once was in Great Plains where a posse of 3 (!) decided to take a swing at me as I was passing by. They killed me once, I respawned and went to camp in the nearest bush, killed them a few times until they left.. the second time was just yesterday, passing along a bridge I rode past 2 players, and long after I’d passed them I noticed one of them firing at me. So, I turned back and plugged them both shut and then continued on my way. They’re either noobs or groups of high levels. I’m glad most people act nice, part of the magic about this game is you never can be quite sure.

Just occurred to me, Why can we NOT carry some form of thermos of camp stew, of a flask or three of 3 star moonshine from OUR moonshiner shack? Are we as characters supposed to be that ignorant?

It is a nice looking car with cool modifications but that's where its values end - it's solely a garage decoration. I also value driving pleasure but this thing drives like a dull and slow sedan and makes a sound that seems to have been recorded with an old Nokia. OG Gauntlet still sounds miles better but at least Hellfire is one hell of a fun car to drive around corners

Paragon and Drafter are most interesting for me, while Gauntlets... well, I don't really like muscles, they don't pair good with GTA physics, I just don't feel that I'm driving a muscle. Like how Jugular is going though, decent stuff.
