Stealth in this game is embarrassing. Oh you did this perfectly without alerting the guards? Here's a wanted level LOL. Guards magically sound the alarm instantly when they're on the ground dying after getting shot 5 times. Yet when you shoot glass they don't notice a thing.

Florida/Cuba with Miami and Havana as main cities, that would be perfect in any case if the game takes place in Miami they will not be able to be satisfied with making only Florida with its flat ground it will miss diversity for the moment we have had rumors like Miami/NY with the East Coast of US, Miami with a South American country like Mexico or Bolivia and Miami/Cuba Cuba seems to be the most realistic in terms of work required for Rockstar and its proximity to Florida the 2 other options seem completely excessive and unrealistic to me the map will be very easy to make with 2 islands quite close, with Cuba which would be 2/3 the size of Florida the area of Florida and Cuba in reality is not huge so realistic in terms of work for Rockstar but sufficient in terms of diversity so Rockstar will be able to focus on density and details the complementarity in terms of city will be present with Miami the modern city and Havana the historical city the same on a cultural level with the Cuban diaspora in Florida and vintage American cars in Cuba. moreover all those who are obsessed with a GTA in the past will be satisfied with Cuba because Cuba even in 2020 is like travelling 50 years in the past. this package seems obvious and the most realistic at all levels

My Review for this MOTW I played all 3 missions of course, I'm usually not here but I can understand normaly there are more missions. ______________________________________________________________________________________ WW2 D-Day - By Galatic Kind of a generic name for a generic mission. Nothing special, no story in this mission but not an amazing type of gameplay either. Enemies have that annoying type of health which requires you to keep shooting at them even with powerful weapons while they're down. The map is the biggest asset here, not something overly impressive again. Nothing else much to say, a very basic mission from DYOM V4 times with fast writing that bring those old style text errors. I do appreciate this little part here where I see some more of my allies advancing instead of a few. The enemy, supposedly the germans should really have used a different skin to help the players identify more with it's allies. The SWAT skin could have been useful if not a custom one. PROS: -Interesting historic event. Not much else. -Actually enjoyable background sound. CONS: -Bland mission. -Lack of events. You can tell Galactic didn't actually wanted to win he just participated for the fun of it and that's really cool. FINAL Verdict: 4.5/10 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Menace III - By VikingEVM Menace is a nickname for a soldier apparently who's the main protagonist of this missiom and maybe others. I like "Menace" it's a good nickname. So all of a sudden some organisation/faction besiege Los Santos. It can be cool but the downside is that it's the same old way of "HEY stuff is happening let's do this!" that happens in DYOM alot. Still not that bad. But there aren't great quotes coming from the caracthers because of this poor introduction. Still Viking wanted to just get us in our Hunter to start destruction. Once in our attack helicopter we assist our allies on the ground. Let's appreciate "GET TO THE CHOPPA" reference. One problem is when we need to defend ground infantry close to enemies. It's awkward because the Hunter pretty much destroys everything including at least ONE of your friends. You never get out of the Hunter but that's okay I mean you're a pilot but it only gets repetitive when you need to shoot down incoming helicopters and tanks again and again. The scenes. There are some major flaws. There's a scene where the Governor is being evacuated by a friendly helicopter but it suddently supposed to get shot down in a dramatic cutscene. The problem is I played this mission many times and the enemy rocket launcher never destroys the evac helicopter leaving nothing but awkardness and breaking the immersion. Another similar mistake is in the beginning where a shot down jet just dissapears instead of exploding. The writing is mixed. Sometimes there are reasonable quotes. Sometimes not. We can call it just good enough, it's fun. I like when they said that Area 69 was compromised. That was badass until the next quote they say the obvious ... that LS being attacked was a diversion. IT WAS obvious. Don't act like the player can't understand the quote, you ruin the interest of the short moment. The best part trully begins when you assault Area 69, still in helicopter of course but the attack is pretty interesting, impressive number of tanks advancing and this is where cutscenes finally get epic. All this gets accompanied by a pretty amazing soundtrack that made the moment pretty enjoyable. After that, some Special Forces storm inside and you just stand there waiting a bit too long for them to talk and to actually "hear": "Get down! Freeze!". I don't think I ever heard that in war let alone in a such assault on Area 69. The Army would have just shattered those "TRIDENT" troops to pieces! Finally you need to track down stolen nukes. A very thrilling task to do. Very scary sounding like, the only problem for some reason I crashed here everytime. Finally after another attempt (5th I think) today it actually worked like a charm. Lol though. This guy ran with the nuke inside San Fierro. I think Menace would have incinerated the entire city. Maybe the timelimit could have been synced with them reaching a populated area. I was impressed though at the end screen. Did the game just told me how much time I took for completion? (I wasn't aware of this function) Anyway bottom line. There is no story here. It's just gameplay, kinda repetitive in LS. It gets better towards the end. PROS: -Somewhat decent soundtracks and war atmosphere. -It does kinda feel like an assault on a major city. -Good object placement. -Can be a fun mission. CONS: -Little variety. -Typical DYOM small plot holes. -Poor introduction. -Mistakes. -Mixed cutscene quality. -No background plot behind this mission. It just happens. FINAL Verdict: 7/10 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Rift - By Lotus I'm amazed. I don't know if this person actually intended all this genious behind this story or it just came out this way. Let's just start even with it's name. "RIFT". I looked up and RIFT is a fracture, a split. Well this story is based on a simple thing: civil war. The "Rift" is between the people apparently of the US who are divided through war. A Rift can also happen between people's relationships with eachother and that's exactly what happens in this movie like story. One twin betrays another just like the people of US fighting eachother. Bold and Rage will fight eachother for different sides. Also a RIFT can happen inside the lithosphere of Earth as a fracture. Maybe the enemy's super weapon can do that. I just see alot of good meaning to this name. Can I say how original is RAGE FAKING HIS DEATH? NO CLICHES. So believable. The Empire also gets a chance at capturing Bolt. This mission clearly takes elemets from STAR WARS, 007 and maybe other movies. It's a family betrayal. There is a superweapon to be destroyed. It's so well mixed between Star Wars and Goldeneye and then the story that comes out is it's own totally different story. The plot is amazing! The gameplay is badass! (Plot too good for DYOM) The way the main caracther enters an enemy underground base under the "Big Ear" (I think it's not about AREA 69). I think you can actually do that in real life. The plane is so low on the river you just jump in water with no parachute. Note how the plane is an unnoticeable civil one. AMAZINGLY BADASS. The references to good movies are so awesome. There is an enemy plane flying across a dam in Goleneye. In this mission YOU are in the plane. James Bond escapes in a similar plane after completing the intro mission. YOU come IN a plane and escape in a totally different (epic) way. The events in Rift are similar yet the story is so different from Goldeneye. This is the type of inspiration Rockstar takes from movies! DAMN! The gameplay is good and with different styles: infiltration, rock scaling, stealth, badass alarm drama (Alarm that actually makes sense because your brother betrayed you, he reminds me of Michael from GTA V at Prologue) and badass escaping. The writing is so realistic, no cringe stuff. Just straight to the point. The end comes with a big firefight in air. I like how here in the very end you get in a powerfull vehicle. The main caracther has an advantage of being a special forces so he does many things, steals helicopters, blows up stuff etc. The SOUNDTRACK, supposedly having that 80's style, it fits so well just like in a movie. Right track intensity at the right time. At the end you're fighting a boss type fight against the RADAR. I'd be talking too much about this mission. I need to end it. I think it's the best mission I EVER played in DYOM. So much integrity, so much culture. It's just badassly done and you do badass things in it. (Dish arming the satellite) "-Half of everything is luck, James" "-And the other half?" "-...Fate." PROS: -Own original plot. -Realism on one side that meets action the other. -Perfect object placement! (Nice military base at the "Big Ear"). Crumbling "Big Ear" Radar at the end. -Badass cutscenes. -Plenty of variety. -Badass events -Badass feeling. -Soundtrack!, Soundtrack mixture! -No CRASHES. -Uses 100 Objectives! 100 Objects! 100 Actors -I can't see any MISTAKES. -Very good posters. -SO smart references. Placed well!! CONS: - ummm what? Idk let me think ...um... I don't fu°°in know any!! FINAL Verdict: 10/10

I did it. I managed to mess up the Gruppe6 approach. While I was entering the elevator after emptying the vault my stupid mousewheel decided to move on its own and scroll to my next weapon and had my character pull out his pistol in front of a guard and sounded the alarm.

I love visiting the Casino. Waiting through the animation of my character entering, then the pop-up menu asking me if I want to go into the Casino or my non-existent penthouse apartment, then waiting through another loading screen before finally entering the Casino, only to be unable to run, so it takes 5 minutes to walk across the place, even in first person. It's a real buzzkill when I'm trying to scam the place out of another podium vehicle. lol

After my first showdown: an Overrun at Cotorra Springs I'm happy with the results, both the snap and the score. It showed that my regular PvE cards don't hold up that well in a showdown mode, so I had to level up some better PvP cards. Headshots by a Varmint rifle are still a thing, likely because of the range vs shotguns and pistols. I tried pump shotgun at first, but switched back to LeMats shortly. I didn't use any tonics and deadeye only maybe 1/5 of the time, probably a lot less, gotta work on the tactics. It was fun.

Depends who is doing the demo part. Demolitions during prison break can make themselves very useful if they know how to handle a chopper, and uses it to kill Noose. But I agree the intended role (to protect the plane) is quite useless. Whenever I'm demo, I will cover the prison, not the plane. Sure, I could keep the plane safe from the jets, but I can not keep the pilot from crashing it after that. Do not cover the plane when you are demo, and you'll be doing the pilot a favour. He either won't need your cover and wants you helping the ground team, or he'll learn something about dogfighting and handling a plane. You have to kill the guard with the keycards with a stealth attack from behind, or just beat him up without weapons. You get a wanted level whenever you use a weapon on him, even silenced.

At this point Rockstar should just move the game to dedicated servers. Dead By Daylight did that and they are much smaller than Rockstar. The same P2P system from GTAO doesn't work because RDO is a much more free roam-focused game. I don't mind Rockstar making things from future updates a bit costlier to make up for server fees. I would rather being able to grind in peace than getting 0x20010006 every 20 minutes.

That's why I use an Akula for this mission. I usually lose the wanted level before I get back to my arcade. It is really dumb and probably only in the game to slow people down.

No, me pointing out the numerous flaws in this game doesn't mean that I suddenly hate the game as a whole. Far from it, if no one points out said flaws, then how could this game improve as a whole? Rightful criticism ≠ hate, learn the difference.

I've been working on UG-MP again. During the last two streams you might have heard us mention the problem surrounding vehicle modifications and whether or not they remain if you move far enough away from the vehicle for it to despawn and respawn once you get near that's mostly fixed now, with the exception of wheels.

More thoughts on the car: i'm glad it has the courtesy to at least go fast and be fun to drive after costing almost two million dollars. this feels like a pretty good car if you could only have one car. I could realistically get away with using only this in freeroam and heists/contact missions considering how many upsides it has (kicks ass, goes fast, four doors, offroads good) This might actually be a sensible purchase if your goal is to only own one or two cars total The Savestra is still my favorite car in the whole game but this might come in second place because of how versatile it is, and also how good the visual of a late 90s impreza sedan genuinely being such a great car for crime is
