How cool would it be to have a street fighter style arcade game, where you pick characters from the 3D era to fight one another. Can be 1P or 2P

I wasn't sure whether to make a thread about this as I don't want it perceived to be a hoax (Like boosting my stock for the awards) or I'll just come back a few days later. Some people already know this, but I've made the heavy hearted decision to leave GTAF. I was just going to go quietly, but didn't want people to think I just disappeared into the abyss without ever knowing what happened to me. I've been a member of this forum since October 14 2007 and I tell you in the 12 and a bit years I've been here it's been a blast. Lots of ups, downs and everything in between. I was here for the GTA IV and GTA V hype trains and that was an insane experience. I've met some truly wonderful people in that time and most have become my good friends away from the forum and even though I've never met anyone in person I'll cherish that friendship forever seriously. Most of all I want to thank the members of staff that gave me the opportunity to be a moderator over the last 6 years or so. I know I've made some mistakes which I regret, but at the same time I'll take what I learned on board and the experience alone was worth it. I'm sorry if this sounds all emo and all and I'm not normally one to give a farewell, but this forum's been such a big part of my life I just wanted people to know I left on my own accord and on good terms. I feel like at this stage of my life I need to move on and I have some other avenues I'd like to explore. So yeah that's pretty much it from me and this will be my last ever post.

Man, I'm still mad about buying a shack. You spend 25(?) gold on buying a shack. They make it seem like it will be your humble abode, you can't f-cking spawn in it. You pay all of this gold and this Two Face rip off bitch living in the cabin, rent free and complains that there's too much noise. I don't know why we had to pay so much gold to buy a cabin for an old hag to live in it and work for her?! That bitch must've seen us coming! Hey, look at the mute, maybe we can swindle 25 gold from him (or her; not gender specific) and have them by us a house! Yes!! Perfect. Why do we even need to work for her anyway? We're doing the selling, we have that French guy making the moonshine, and now we're having to right that bitch's wrongs? I've completed the Moonshiner missions in hopes she would either die or piss off. Unfortunately, I'm stuck seeing melty in the corner of the shack every damn time.

I haven't seen that much arguing in an elimination game since ... Back when I thought I was a human rather than a helicopter I guess. Just wanted to say I hope you're all doing well anyway. Also a heroic effort from Amy hosting the games still.

small vehicle update: I remade the Benson farm truck because the cab was missing a rear window. also made the cab shorter/hood longer, added some alternative bed styles and some other minor stuff. anybody interested in altering the bodymap so it looks more derelict? I love how the description for big con says that "get out of there before they even know they've been robbed" haha good joke c*, it's impossible they always do a vault check right after you finish robbing it why can't the reward for a perfect silent and sneaky undetected be that you get a clean getaway? or for one of the more difficult big cons (maintenance and yung ancestor)

THe gruppe sechs con is so laughably easy and LEster even says you'd have to be an idiot to mess that up (and as I've seen on this forum, there's been stories of randoms messing gruppe sechs approach up. How?). You'd think that they'd balance the approaches with how easy it is to get in and out. Let's say Gruppe Sechs gives the easiest entry, but the hardest exit. Or maybe the Yung ancestor approach woul dhave the upside of having no alarm triggered on exit at all as instead of doing a spot check they are more distracted by Brucie getting shot or something. And I'm going to B&M again over the stupid, idiotic 80 headshots requirement for the elite challenge aggressive. It's contradicting! It doesn't make any sense. It'd be more elite to just get in there quickly and get out there quickly. Not sit around and get headshots and WASTE TIME!

Status Report So if you're wondering what the current status is of TTDISA OV and TTDISA overall, I have some good news. Since a few days ago we have come in contact with DeeZire and he now is part of our discord server, where he can give us feedback, inside info, etc. I'm also happy to say that there are now multiple people that are working on/contributing to this mod. Most recently @Matt1010, @ernestin1 and @Noskillx have made some good progress. So with this all going on we decided on officially rebranding TTDISA OV into Things To Do in San Andreas: Volume II (DeeZire approved!) Volume 2 will feature a lot of minor fixes, a new Spanish translation and we're also planning on making things that DeeZire originally planned for Volume II - before his hard drive crashed (more info to come) Estimated Release date: --- On another note, we want to say that there have been other TTDISA... uh... *editions* floating around of questionable quality. I just want to that this will more or less be the official version of TTDISA now that we have DeeZire (semi-)onboard. Also, please don't annoy DeeZire telling him to do things for the mod. He's not back to the mod as a main developer, but as a supervisor, I guess you can say. As DeeZire said himself in 2011: Please dont ask me for customisations of the mod or throw huge lists of things you want in as I dont have time.

What's the Benny's glitch, a dupe? It's far too late now, but I wonder if there was a big enough backlash against the exorbitant daily fees, if they would have made them weekly or even just nerfed the costs across the board. It really is ridiculous, especially if you're playing for more than an hour or two at a time. I noticed it when I had some extra time to play over the holidays and it really discourages long play sessions for me. Yeah, I know there are ways to skirt around certain daily fees, but like solo public lobbies, if so many people are finding these work arounds it really does highlight what an overreach/mistake these design choices are.. at least IMO.

Rockstar just pushed a tunables update to fix it. Now you can encounter the event.

And sometimes that bit of discussion is enough to turn someone on to a vehicle they hadn't looked twice at before. All in good fun I hope, at least that's how I approach it. CS: 1. It's rediculous. Let's not pretend that our vote matters this year. That's very dissapointing because a lot of us here made a huge effort to reach a milestone with SoV's demo release in 2019. I respect the "competition" and all members of our modding community & staff, and don't have a fair proposal for modding categories where UG wouldn't eliminate all other projects myself... All I'm saying, is that we can all agree that this year, there's no competition taking place, so personally, I'm not voting for anything. On a positive note, those trucks look phenomenal, I can't wait to add them to the build! To the rest of the team - please remember that the real reward for our contributions should having fun, so lets do our best not to spam the topic on the subject of annual awards. Not that any spamming has taken place (even the discussion is relevant to the mod) but I'd prefer to close the discussion on annual awards here as I'm convinced that nothing positive will come out of it.

It makes for a bit of a change though. This isn't aimed at you, but I don't understand why some players get so upset about not being able to do their business deliveries because of the snow. Come on people, it isn't a real job. Just do something else. Incidentally, you want to try living in the UK when it snows. It's hilarious. Even a few specks of the white stuff initiates a kind of nationwide, apocalyptic, mass hysteria. The tabloid media really lay it on and all of a sudden at the first hint of snow there is panic buying, closed down schools and businesses and absolute carnage on the roads. It's unbelievable.

If you press the "use elevator" button before everyone gets in you are a terrible person.

While infiltrating Humane Labs for reinforced armor, the facility's alarm is so loud that I can still hear it standing outside my Arcade. Like R*, it sounds cool and all...but it doesn't have to be that damn loud. Especially for a mission where stealth isn't even an option.

An actual focus on stunting in Stunt Races would be interesting. Like, sure, you can do flips in the air and sh*t... for like 50 RP. Imagine if you had a Nitro bar but the only way to refill it was to take risk and do stunts? Just an idea, of course.

When you're doing Duggan Shipments to destroy their stock for the Diamond Heist. Make sure to go for the one up at the top of the map (Paleto Bay) first. If you're not careful, that f*cker will go off the map and your choice of vehicle will end up getting destroyed due to being out of the game limits. Pissed me off the first time. Also when the hell did the cops become such great shots? Every time I'm in a police chase for this Diamond heist, they blow my f-cking tires out. It's ridiculous. Annnd; I made $3.6 million during the final heist I did with @TheLordMarvel; -- great success. HOWEVER, don't pay a 10% cut for a better car. It's completely useless. Get the cheapest guy at 5%. He parks the cars closer and out of the way of the Noose! Chester, I believe, is a moron. Or just make your way to the road if you're doing The Big Con and steal an NPC's car. Much safer and only have to worry about an odd cop or two.

I had a few thoughts to share. 1) I think one big thing for me, just make all vehicles raceable. This includes the Vigilante, Ardent, Stromberg, Deluxo, etc. I mean yes you'd have to disable all special abilities. Rocket booster, missiles, machine guns, hover ability, all gone, all disabled during races. But still they should be allowed, and I don't think any weaponized vehicle would break their respective class (not that R* gives a damn about balance anyway). For example the Vigilante, yea it's fast... with the booster. But remove that booster, and there are actually a lot of super cars that could beat it in races as the Vigilante has terrible breaking, terrible cornering, and without the booster isn't even that fast. So it wouldn't be OP. Just watched broughy 2020 sport classics race, Ardent would bring up 3rd in the Sports Classic class just behind the Turismo and Cheetah Classics if it could be raced. We already have some weaponized vehicles that can be raced, with the races just disabling the cars special features. Isn't the Revolter one, where when you take it into a race the guns are simply disabled. Just do that for all weaponized vehicles and even special vehicles. 2) Selectable Classes in Stunt Races would be amazing. The biggest issue with stunt races is they get repetitive because classes are locked. You go to this race, it's super cars and only super cars every single time. You go that race, it's sports cars and only sports cars every single time. I mean if I want to take Double Loop and set it to Muscle class, Sedan class, Compact class, etc. Why can't I? It'd keep races a lot more fresh and interesting if you could select different classes on them especially with every class only realistically having 2 or 3 top cars you can race with anyway. I'd like to rive Gauntlet in something other then a Krieger once in a while. Being able to select Sports class in Gauntlet for example would be pretty sick, Pariah's zooming though the tunnel parts while Itali GTO's brings it back in the corner parts, I think it'd be pretty fun. Honestly, the Super class has the majority of the most fun stunt races while Sports, Muscle and Compact cars are stuck with pretty much crap race circuits. It's honestly a shame so many fun tracks are locked to Super class and Super class only. Open it up Rockstar, let us pick different race classes on stunt tracks. 3) Possibly controversial suggestion coming up, but how would anyone feel about taking all the 4 door cars and just dumping them into Sedans class, OR at least making them raceable in sedans, while also keeping them in the class they in aka same as what was done with the Shafter V12? I mean really the Sedan class is a 1 car show, you pick the Shafter V12 and that's it, game over. Why not add some competition like the orignal Sultan, the soon to be released Sultan Classic, the Kuruma (normal and armored), the Revolter and the other half dozen 4-door cars that has been added to the Sports class since. I know that true to life the Sultans and Kuruma technically are sports cars or sport-sedans I guess, being based off I believe Suburo and the Lancer respectively. But lets be honest, Sports class is way to over bloated and these cars can't even compete in the class anymore anyway. Besides we have a Sports car version of the Sultan, the Sultan RS, which desperately actually needs to move into Sports class. So why not put the other Sultans into sedans? At least there if nothing else, the cars might actually be of some use. What would you guys like to see?

I managed to take out an Mk2 with the homing launcher (yep, that's how the bad rider was). He then texts me, calling me a cheater. I believe this is the first time I've ever been called a cheater for using the homing launcher, a weapon that's been in the game since late 2014.

I have myself looked into a few text files from the Moonshiners update and as far I can tell (someone better than me, who might be more knowledgeable than, can correct me if I'm wrong, and if it's already been stated as such) the Poison Poppy Moonshine receipe seems to come from a stranger camp, as in one single text file [65BEE2D0] the following and only three entries are noted. 0x0352107C = You can now make Poison Poppy's moonshine. 0x9BF83AAD = Stranger Camp 0xBEC6369A = Enemy And I also found this in another text file [global.txt] that lists the ingredients that may be required to make the Poison Poppy Moonshine 0xC6AB500B = Ingredients~n~~n~Oleander Sage~n~Prairie Poppy~n~Absinthe~n~ Now I could be way off the mark with at least the ingredients since it's in the global.txt files so could be for anything, as there is also this entry also but could be unrelated to the Moonshiners update. 0x7B14CDA0 = Indian Tobacco~n~~n~Currants or Prairie Poppy If there is indeed a bug with the cool down timer(s) for such stranger event is perhaps why it's not been accessible to any player as of yet. PS3 Controller: Stayed the same with no issues whatsoever for ~4 years straight w/ constant play. PS4 Controller: Not even a f*cking year of PS4 ownership & I'm about to lose my T-H-I-R-D Controller. "stahp baying cheap" F*ck you these things are expensive here. And I haven't even played that much on my third sh*tty controller. Took a giant break from the PS4, went back and BAM! Thing's messy. Made a new release. It's pretty much the last WIP version.

Ghost drivers going in the wrong direction, ability to remove or customize handling flags, better payouts. Those are at the top of my head and are what I would prioritize.
