LCS PSP Snowfall Port - r2
Vishnuka and 6 others reacted to erorcun for a topic
LCS Snowfall Port Hey! Here is a christmas gift for GTAForums! Me and many people always wanted to see LCS PSP snow in other GTA games, and after @Noskillx asked me if I would do it, I decided to port it. So, here we are. Although since snowy weather isn't included in weather cycle even on PSP, I had to add some option to bind the snow-fall effect to some weather type or a key. You can find the all possible options in LCSSnow.ini. By default you can switch between snow modes via F8, but you can change that from there. I will simply put the whole INI file here, since it already has all the informations I would give here. Screenshots SA https://streamable.com/rdszt III VC Download The .asi and .ini files should lie in the same directory. You can use any ASI/DLL loader you want, or just don't use one and put it to root folder, in-game ASI loader will handle it. r2 Only for III/VC/SA 1.0 EXEs. Changelog: SA support! Rain fixed A XP bug is fixed (this is last time I fixed something on XP) https://github.com/erorcun/LCSSnow/releases/tag/r2 Old releases: Source code https://github.com/erorcun/LCSSnow Thanks to @Noskillx for testing. Would you like to send me a christmas gift too? You may consider donating now via one of the options below Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!7 points -

You know LINK/2012 today because of me and my "sh*tty website". LINK/2012 was my second virtual friend almost 1 decade ago. We started to create mods together on my "sh*tty website" (until today he's a postter there, but don't post anymore), and we decided to create a team called BMS (Brazilian Modding Studio) that brings together the best modders in Brazil to create big projects. My "sh*tty website" created a forum exclusively dedicated to teaching how to create mods, that brought together 3,700 users, 254,000 posts. Has recently changed the url and system and has 23,000 posts and 1,500 users. Literally hundreds, if not thousands of modders have started creating mods because of my "sh*tty website". This is where the two main CLEO tutorials in the world are located, one from LINK/2012 and another by me with his help. LINK/2012 grew on my "sh*tty website", and that's where he started releasing trial versions of ModLoader as early as 2013. Then we started a game development team, and today he works at Brazilian Google. Of course I can't draw conclusions about future changes, but I can say that probably if it wasn't for the Brazilian you didn't want to shake hands with, and for the "sh*tty website", you, and no one reading this, would have LINK/2012 and ModLoader. Isn't that ironic? And you can't install GTA SA mods on PS2 either, because it was because of this guy that you just answered that today there is modding for PS2. Another Brazilian. Another guy that started from the "sh*tty website". The modder that created the most GTA mods in the world is also a brazilian, me. From the "sh*tty website". My "sh*tty website" receives many visits from Venezuela, and it was with it that I did a public survey that drew attention even from MBL, the group that started the impeachment of our former president Dilma. My site has cured people of depression and drug use. Only the people who told me were around 10. But surely there is much more. I can also become selfish: I live far from the city and because of my website today I have a lot of friends and a girlfriend (also modder) who will most likely be my wife. Ads? This is obvious, money is required for sites to work, so there is no option to have no ads, either it exists and receives money, or the site doesn't exist. Even GTA Forums is making money from your mods. Having a website is not free. In fact my forum costs $6 a month, and I only get $4 from it (CPM in Brazil is a sh*t). It's the same as youtubers making videos with your mods; same is the case with news and entertainment sites promoting products. Brazil is probably the second country that most plays and mod GTA San Andreas in the world, behind Russia; probably Indonesia too. Do you know how this happened? I have a tip: my site is 8 years old and is the largest in Brazil and Latin America. So I would like to ask a simple question: After all this you read, you think my site should cease to exist? Just answer yes or no and the subject is closed. I'll stop posting. Eu concordo.6 points

It might be 'boring", but it doesn't make it any less true. Even Brexiteers haven't been able to coherently decide what Brexit should look like, and some of them have been arguing in favour of it their entire adult lives. Given that the level of average voter understanding of what the EU is and does is essentially nil (as el Bendo has repeatedly proven throughout this thread) it's not really surprising that Brexit supporting voters didn't and don't know what they want instead. In fact I'd argue their not knowing is vastly safer for the country than the "woefully misinformed, but think I know what's best" approach which essentially boils down to repeating the same handful of dogmatic mantras lifted from Daily Express headlines ad infinitum with the odd side helping of blatant bigotry. Really there are two camps- the "keeping economic alignment with our largest trading partners is probably a sensible thing" camp, and the "hey some long term economic pain is a price worth paying for (nominal) regulatory freedom" camp. The irony is that the latter camp seems to be largely composed not only of the kinds of people who are likely to suffer the most from a "hard" Brexit and the inevitable economic consequences, but also people whose understanding of the interplay between national sovereignty and the EU is so poor- not poor, actually, nonexistent- that they can't even begin to explain what, or who, we're apparently taking back control from. I don't think there's any malice in this attitude, just a misplaced sense of national pride and a desire to see a largely manufactured little-Britain ideal realised. There's also a "we'll prosper under WTO because we're BRITISH GODS and everyone wants to trade with us" camp, but they're idiotic fantasists that nobody listens to. Really the main lessons from the 2019 election are that having a policy on something important to the electorate, no matter how incoherent or impractical, is always better than not having any policy at all; that Jeremy Corbyn had all the charisma and doorstep appeal of roadkill (not the nice, fresh "oh, that pheasant might go nice in a pie" kind, the "wow, I didn't know badger innards turned green" kind); and that if all else fails scaremongering about supposed Communists is always a solid vote winner.6 points -

Sad to see the upcoming “farewell” to GTA Online. However I definitely understand why it’s time for it to go. It will reach 7 years in 2020, everything has a expiration date. From items, to food, to games, and it is up to us to enjoy these moments. We have experienced so much together I could go all day. From the crazy glitches, wild forum speculation, Tuesday morning disappointments, random leakers, fake leakers, real leakers, r* devs going rogue, and so so much more. I will look back on these gta years with pure happiness. I’ve met so many people and encountered so many unique personalities, it is truly unbelievable. When the doomsday update launched, that’s when i really felt the end upon the horizon. I really want our characters to have one last bang. Maybe we’ll get one more huge update, or maybe it’ll be another update using existing assets. Like a long requested naval update would be phenomenal........6 points -

For the first time the releases have received a name! 9.5 or 9.75/10. My favorite in the series. I love the city, the atmosphere, the story, the protagonist, the missions, the combat, the driving, the physics and all the small details. It's not perfect, I acknowledge it has some flaws like side missions could have been more rewarding, driving could be a bit tighter, ragdolls could have been slightly less exaggerated and cover system more responsive (but at least there's still crouching!). But it is the most perfect GTA experience for me.5 points -

Yes. A real shame ... And strangely i feel like it's happening all over again in a different way, with that SUV madness ... (That Ford Mustang Mach E ... ewww ...) For me (a car and cinema lover) i see three reasons to love yourself a Gran Torino ... 1 Starsky & Hutch An old school cheesy buddy cop tv series about two detectives, trying their best to put a little more order in the streets and dark corners of Bay City (a fictional version of Los Angeles) It certainly hasn't aged too well and after the first two seasons, due to the "violence" concern they simply reduced it to just dumb. But the first episode is really setting the mood well. I recommend it to anybody curious to find some relics of the 70's cinematography. But something didn't aged a bit ... The Tomato ! 2 Gran Torino Do i need to say more ? (Well let's say yes) Kowalski, an old grumpy veteran from the korean war and former assembly line worker for Ford, dives into a very dangerous situation when he comfronts a local gang. Simply because they stepped on his property ... He's gonna learn everybody can have a second chance, starting with Thao the young man who tried to steal ... His 72 Gran Torino ... What can i say ? I just love that movie. 3 Fear is the key I haven't watched this one yet ! But what can i say ?! Barry Newman and a red 72 Gran Torino ! I already know i'm gonna love it ! Let's give some love to the 72 and 73 ...5 points -
