The entire point, of spending hundreds upon hundreds of hours grinding the same missions, over and over again, learning every nuance of every weapon, enemy spawn and mission objective, perfecting dozens of strategies with every weapon in the game, using a myriad of different vehicles, owned and stolen, all to earn millions to billions of dollars that you spend on stuff to facilitate MORE missions, MORE money, and MORE shiny stuff to sh*t all over older missions.....IS SPECIFICALLY TO sh*t OVER THE MISSIONS. I did NOT spend millions in this game to get a f*cking paper weight that's useful for a very tiny, VERY boring portion of this game. I DID NOT spend this money, to buy an osprey, which I adore, just to get f*cked over when I use it. I DID NOT buy an arcade, so I couldn't rain fire on the enemies far below me using my hovering Avenger's turrets to safely dispatch overpowered, hyper aimbot AI. Eat the entirety of my asshole, cockstar.

Well, many people enjoy racing on gta online. Racing is part of gta as well. Gta is a variety of everything. Racing in gta is addictive and fun.

Plus, the 5 and a half years between GTA IV & V didn't feel that long, because there was always something new in between.

I still can't believe they actually added F1/Indy cars... I've been trying to find some of my old posts wishlisting for a 90s era F1 with Redwood livery based on Senna's McLaren. I know many, many others have asked for similar but it always feels nice to get the thing you want specifically added to the game. I'm starting to feel spoiled after the Gauntlets from DC&R, the muscles from AW, the B-11 and Swinger from AH, Turismo Classic/GP1, Hunter/Nakota/Sea Sparrow and at least 2 dozen others (when they added half a Celica with the Savestra I almost died I was so surprised). Now if they just get the last 4 in my wishlist, the most important ones, a Comet Classic, Bullet Classic, 2 stroke Sanchez Retro, and a Dominator based on the Mach 1..

Dude once again, you are preaching to the quire here. I'm the first one to criticize them for copypasting content for X number of years. I'm the guy who usually complains about wasted potential of gtao and their low effort updates. That still doesn't answer what sooo bad about them adding a couple of f1 cars and adding a new kind of racing to the game? You do realize that this game has a huge racing community, right? And those cars are very popular in FiveM. Just because you and I don't use gta for racing doesn't mean that it shouldn't be allowed in gta lol. This sandbox game is way bigger than the things you use it for. It has too much understeer, I think the front end is ugly and, well I can usually beat Krieger drivers in races as long as I don't cause myself self inflicted racing injuries.

I'm having a bit of a love affair with this thing.. I've never been an "SUV" fan.. always been a massive BMW fan, probably my favourite maker, between them and Ferrari, then Porsche. So when BMW showed all how to do it properly with the original X5 I wasn't really that pleased, but pleased that as usual they can do things better than most, and in a very BMW way. Fast forward to the present day and that benchmark has really driven a whole segment to some genuinely brilliant cars with great tech and law defying physics. Over the years I have had to learn to appreciate some things even if I don't like them and of this kind of car in real life there are few that I actually like the X5 being top of the list. I don't want this kind of car from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston, Porsche, etc.. like I didn't want it from BMW, but times change and all that. As far as GTA cars go, it's got it's faults like all others (dependant on opinions) I can mention them quick cos there isn't many.. Suspension. I'm not against people having wild and silly options, I like them myself sometimes, but on this car not particularly necessary. But I don't like the lack of anything between stock and the first option. Everything beyond there is pretty severe and there is less focus on real settings, I'm stuck with stock and the first one for my tuned looking versions. Wheel size. Nearly always an issue for car guys. It's ok here..just. But not really what I'd expect to see. Most 3.0d X5's wear massive shoes, never mind X5M. It kind of spoils the best feature of this car, it's brutishness. It spoils the stance a bit, but overall it's acceptable as it's not totally ruining the car, size and placement are ok. The interior. Not much I need to say.. The style, lack of paintable trim. C-PILLAR. I HATE the theft of the BMW Hofmeister kink, which has been seen making other GTA cars look better, but has robbed ubermachts a part of their own tradition and beauty. Under the hood I see the new engine cover, and messy surrounding area, as seen in a few cars recently. I believe it's probably the only way to pump out new cars to a certain standard whilst working on the new game etc. I imagine the same goes for interiors, we can only expect so much right now with a new game being developed. I believe this car shares it's underpinnings with the Paragon R. There's been a lot of sharing going on. Feels very similar, power weight, drive, steering, and if you look underneath it's got the same X pipe set up aswell. Funny cos I remember either posting or thinking.. they could make a lovely M8 with this chassis when I first drove the Paragon. Anyway despite its faults, I fkin love this thing. My only problem now is fitting more in the BMW garage. Many many pictures on the way... You have been warned! I'll kick off with a tribute to the most mental OG X5 LM And a more modern version..

Nope. It feels faster than the original Retinue and I like this one's boxier appearance a little more than the original as well. It could do with more options to better resemble a bog stock MKII Escort though, something that was also a gripe about the MKI Retinue. The racing seats should've been optional, just like the lack of a front bumper and the fender flares. But for what it is, it does decently convey the aura of a 70's Group A Rally car but I'll have to see how it fairs on my "Budget Rally Racer" series of tracks later on. Exterior: 7.5/10 Too much of its stock body work is too racey to make it a regular civilian version, leaving you to go either the full blown rally route (which you still can't really do since it lacks fog lamps) or make it a homologation special. Interior: 6/10 It fits the car, but is way overused.
