Its the only supercar in the update and I'm chuffed to bits with it

Well everyone, it's that time of the year again. Rockstar releases another update to GTA Online in December, and I review the new cars that are in the update. So let's get started. Karin Sultan Classic My favorite vehicle of the update, the classic Sultan is obviously based on the first generation Subaru Impreza and the Sultan from GTA SA. It's a good design that has just enough changes to not be exactly like the real Impreza but you still know it's an Impreza, if that makes any sense. As this is my favorite car of the new update, I want to convert this to IV. I want to try to do a stock version and a hardcore rally version like how Rockstar did the original Sultan and Sultan RS in IV. The stock version would have the stock parts and wheels, while the rally version will have all the rally parts and liveries respectfully. Dinka Blista Kanjo Second best car in the update for me, and to be honest I didn't expect this to happen. I was surprised to see it was the Civic Type-R hatchback rather than the Si coupe model, since the coupe was featured in the Need for Speed Undergorund games. If I had a compliant about this car, it's that it pretty much looks exactly like a Civic. It's almost like the modeler did a real Civic, and then changed the badges to Dinka rather than Honda. But all that "lore-friendly" debate aside, it's still a great car. As for conversion to IV, well just scroll to the bottom to find out about that. Maxwell Asbo A pleasant surprise to see a cheap hatchback get added when most of these updates have had multi-million dollar super cars. It is kind of weird to see a European hatchback in an American setting, but we had the Russian Cheburek, and the Aussie Imperator. So who cares, it's a video game anyway right? We also see a new manufacturer introduced with this car and the Vagrant, Maxwell. Me and GCT were theorizing that Maxwell is the name of the modeler that did the Asbo, and the Asbo is based on what he drives in real life. Converting wise, it's up in the air right now. It'll be cool to have another low budget car on the streets, but I want to get the Sultan and Kanjo done first before I decide. Maxwell Vagrant The other Maxwell car added along side the Asbo is based on the Ariel Nomad. It's design is pretty much exactly like the real Nomad, but with different headlights. That said you can't change much to the Nomad, as it's just a roll cage with wheels and an engine. It's nice to see all the detail that they put on the car, and I'm curious if all those suspension parts move and function in game. Seeing this being added into the game makes me wonder if we'll see a road going version based on the Atom in the future. I think this would be a fun car in LC much like the Bifta was. The only problem is getting all those suspension parts to move and look good with IV's limited functions. I might mess around with it and see if I can do anything with it. Lampadati Komoda So we finally got a Afla Giulia, and it looks like a Giulia with what looks like a Genesis G80 front grill and BMW taillights. It's not a bad lore-friendly redesign for the Giulia, as I didn't think you could put a Giulia in GTA and still keep it looking like a Giulia. But they pulled it off here, so good job to whoever modeled this car. Converting wise, this is a maybe for me. I like the car, but I'm not sure it fits with the "atmosphere" of IV. It's a very 2018 design, and IV looks better with pre-2010 car designs. But I may say f*** it and do it anyway. We'll just have to see. Karin Everon Another non-US car to be added to the game, this time it's the Toyota Hilux. Specifically it's the Arctic Trucks Hilux that was famously featured in the Top Gear Polar Special. I am disappointed that it permanently has those huge fenders and tires on the truck when we could have had a good modern stock Toyota pickup in the game. Plus, isn't there Benny's shop in Online? Can't we have a stock Hilux and then take it to his shop and convert it to the Arctic Truck? GCT is going to be working on this, making a stock version and removing the fenders and tires. He says he might also change the design to make it look more like a US Tacoma to fit the US setting better, and I'm excited to see what that'll look like. Nagasaki Outlaw It's about time they made a UTV for the game, seeing how UTV's are the hottest thing right now in off-road. It's a pretty general look of a UTV, with Polaris RZR and Can-Am in there. I'm not the biggest UTV fan, they are fun but I think an old Jeep or Toyota can do the same thing for less money. So this is a pass for me. Dinka Sugoi Another Civic? This is the 2018 version of the Civic Type-R to go along with the '93 based Kanjo, however this one is not a Blista. That kind of makes sense as the Blista is supposed to be more based on the 2-door Honda hatchbacks. This has the same problem as the Kanjo as it looks like a Civic but with Dinka badges. I'm not the biggest fan of the design of the newer Civic's as I think the design is kind of a mess, especially the rear. The same opinion applies here as this GTA version looks just like the real car. This is a pass. Albany V-STR A new Albany is here and unlike the Alpha, it doesn't look like complete crap. This is obviously based on the recent CTS-V with appears to be some Mercedes bits thrown in. My opinion of the design is mixed, it looks good from every angle except the front. That grill is just way to big, I think if it was smaller the car would be excellent. This is a pass for me, as with the other modern cars in this update it doesn't fit with the IV setting. Ocelot R88/ Progen PR4 There's technically two Formula 1 cars added in this update, but I'll put them together as they are basically the same car. It's really cool that they added a Formula 1 car into the game and they look like a lot of fun. I'm interested in converting one of these cars into IV just for the fun factor, the only problem is of course animations. I suppose the animation used for jumping into convertibles could work but that would need to be tested. I'll have to experiment and see, so you may be able to unleash these on the streets of Liberty City. Vapid Retinue Mk II So a new Retinue is here, and it's got some ugly fenders on it and a face from a '79 Chevy truck. I'm not sure a truck front end works on a small European rally car, and can't stop seeing it when I look at it. That said the rest of the design is okay, and would be a good companion to the original Retinue. If I convert it, it will have a new front and those fenders removed. So this is a maybe. Rune Zhaba What the f*** is this thing? Actually I know exactly what this thing is, it's a Sherp. Basically the Russian's answer to "Can we make a vehicle that can go anywhere?" You may have also seen the Sherp on an episode of Jay Leno's Garage (The CNBC show, not the Youtube channel) where he takes Kevin Hart on a ride in this thing and scares the hell out of him. I think this thing is awesome and proves why I like the GTA series, highlighting cool vehicles that nobody else will add to their games. This would be fun to have in IV, if it works good that is. Like the Vagrant, this will be a sort of fun side thing to play around with and see if I can get it to work in IV's limited engine. Ubermacht Rebla GTS Hey, the Rebla is back! And it actually looks kind of good this time? The old IV car was a like a mini version of the big X5 with an ugly face. This looks good to me, however it does look like they just gave the Benefactor XLS a new front and back. But the XLS had a lot of BMW already in it anyway, so that could explain why it looks similar. I do like this car, but it has the same problem as the Komoda to me. I just think it looks too new for the IV setting, so it's a pass for me. Grotti Furia GT So we fianlly got a 458/488 in the game, or did we? This looks more like Pininfarina's Battista, which is basically a 488 with out the Ferrari badges and a Hybrid-electric drivetrain. It's not a bad design, but I am getting flashbacks to the Reaper for some reason. It just looks a bit off to me, but I know some people like it. At we finally got a modern Ferrari 458/488/Battista thing, so that's good. As you know, I'm not someone who is a huge super car fanatic. So this will not be converted as I just don't care enough to do all the work to bring it into IV. Declasse Drift Yosemite Because the Drift Tampa just wasn't enough Ken Block content for you, here's a Drift version of the Yosemite. Made to look like Block's "Hoonitruck" which was a '77 Ford F-150 with a ton of tasteless mods on it. It looks like fun, but I don't care much for Block's newer purpose built Gymkhana cars. I much preferred it when he uses his rally spec cars for those stunts. Overflod Imorgen What on Earth is this thing supposed to be? It looks like a jumbled mess of different cars in one. Solid pass on this. So that's another DLC reviewed. The vehicle list for this one is all over the place, which is a good and bad thing. A lot of modern cars were added in this update which is good for GTA Online but less so for a game that's supposed to be set over ten years earlier. However we got the Sultan, Kanjo, Asbo, and Mk II Retinue. We also got some fun cars like the F1 cars, the Zhaba, and the Vagrant that could be really fun with IV's much better driving physics. As always I'll post any progress on any new projects I'm working on and hopefully will get time to work on them here and there. I do apologize for last month not having any new stuff, after I said I would try to work on some projects. But real life stuff is the first priority, and I was busy with all of that and was in no mood to put in hours after working to sit in front of a computer and watch my free time speed by. Thankfully things should calm down, so I can get back in the groove. Now for that Kanjo tease I was talking about earlier...

I thought Rockstar has changed. I really did. The casino update is one of the greatest updates. I know the mission payout is still extremely low, but they are fun and came with 1 million plus awards (including the armored bentley). The content of the update is great, makes you feel like you're a kingpin like you're supposed to be after all the business that you've bought. But what the hell? The new heist is almost as hard as completing Act 3 elite challenge with two people and the reward is only slighly higher than pac standard. And how about the rewards? 250k for completing the heist without dying? What kind of bullsh*t is that? The CMM reward is freakin 12M! You know what? I'm glad that I've moved from being a legit grinder to using doomsday exploits instead. Screw Rockstar and their greed. This update is a betrayal! Edit: I haven't played any heist other than silent and sneaky (normal) during the time I posted this. While the awards are frustrating, the heist is original. Credit where it's due.

The Thrax I find to be quite hideous, I don't like it's real life counterpart either so it gets a "minus 2" from me today.

I wouldn't mind if future heists followed the same format as the Diamond Casino Heist imo. Even better, some remade or "remix" versions of previous ones like Humane Labs Heist or Pacific Standard Heist would be cool too. Even more better, "what if" versions of Story Mode Heists like Jewel Store Job, Paleto Score or Union Depository Heist would be nice too. Even way more better, R* finishing the Mile High Club and adding a Heist in which we infiltrate it in some way, oh my.

^ Yeah, the small amount of guilt from my duping/frozen money glitches two years ago on my original account is long gone. I did the Zancudo/Barrage Casino Heist prep mission last night (solo) and wow, that was quite the experience. 4 star wanted level from Zancudo all the way to the subway tunnel next to the Mile High Club buding in the city. In an off road vehicle that has no stength to even go up a slightly steep hill. Literally a mission designed to annoy players. One of my friends hopped on right when the 4 stars went away and we did the prep missions on both of our characters. Some of the other missions were not so bad, but I admit it's a lot better to have help to get some of them done.

I just lost my Rebla GTS today about an hour or so after I had purchased it. I switched sessions, and it had just vanished. Not in MMI, nowhere in my mechanics list, not in the impound, just gone. I had to f*cking buy it again. What the f*ck is this, 2013? Launch day? What the f*ck are you doing, Dickstar? Just imagine if someone had bought a shark card to buy this car and mod it up, and it just disappears for no reason. These pretentious, stuck up f*ckers deserve to go out of business.

It's the best off-road/rally car in the game and totally outpaces the Comet Safari and Flash GT on twisty tracks because of its amazing traction. Uh...Sunday, finally some free time, I want to speak today about some cars that are a must-add to gtaonline since the game will be almost 100gb (I have a feeling that they will stop with the updates at 100, just saying I hope not). So the first one is: A Dominator Classic (Muscle), for god sake R* we are asking for it for 5 years straight, just drop us a sexy-ass 68 fastback and that's it. BMW M8 Competition (Sports), still can't believe this car isn't in the game yet, honestly the best BMW ever made, luxury, performance, comfort etc. this is a must-add car in the game and also a good adition to the streets of LS. BMW M5 e34, yes, we got the Zion Classic based on the M635CSI, we got the Sentinel Classic based on the M3 e30, but we still haven't got the e34, I think this car deserves an add. Banshee Classic (Sports)...for real R*? A Banshee Classic isn't in the game yet? Cmon... (I like the RT/10 one) PMP600 (Sports), kinda dissapointing to not see a PMP600 with 2 Casino updates...shame, this car was perfect for that casino theme. Sentinel Retro (Sports), so...e46 is fine too?I mean, for real now, we don't have the Sentinel from GTA IV? I would like to see this car in both variants normal and GTR. Next one is...Comet f*cking retro or classic (Sports/Sports Classic) R* messed up with the wrong car imo, I think there are still chances to have a normal Classic Porsche right? They fixed the JB700 with the new update, they also fixed the Caracara! Moving on to the next one...a Modern Vigero (Muscle), we have a modern Dominator, a modern Gauntlet, but no modern Vigero. Knock knock R*, wake up, did you know that no one thinks the Dukes is a Charger anymore? Dukes-Charger? Who do you think you can fool? Like the Gauntlet is branded bravado, and your fake-ass Charger is branded as a Imponte? and + that it doesn't even look like a Charger. This needs to stop now! A new Obey 9F, screw that old-ass 2010 R8, who needs that ugly sh*t with round taillights? Why not have a new better looking one? Hey... I was thinking, how about a new Buffalo aswel? A proper R34, we don't have a Skyline R34, can you believe it? New gen Oracle (Sports) and Oracle Classic (Sports) please R*? How about a new gen Tailgater (Sports) and old gen Tailgater (Sports) too? and a lot more that I'm lazy to mention, Bonus: BMW M4,M5,M6 more SUV's etc.

FUN FACT: All body parts of the Formula cars are detachable (images attached) and will probably play a big part in the upcoming 'Open Wheel' races.

It isn't a bad car, it does a reasonable impersonation of an Alfa Romeo Giulia exterior wise. But the interior seems unfinished, if you look at the back seats, door panels and dashboard, they don't appear to have a texture and just look to be pure black. Exterior I'd give it an 8.5/10 Interior I'd give it a 1/10 and that's a pity point.

Hunting The Hunter "Can you find me?" Those words echoed through my mind, reverberating off one end of my skull to the other. I've seen the articles online, on the newspapers, on TV. The Los Santos Slasher, they called him. I was mindful enough to never put myself above serial killers with my line of work, but this man had done things that would turn a death row inmate green with nausea. A $50k bounty was put on his head for whoever could bring him in alive or dead. The numbers made me raise my eyebrows. I had to find him. Later that night... The more I searched for him, the more his clues seemed to speak to me. I couldn't help but feel stalked the more I'd dig into this mess. I had to keep an eye on the back of my head open and make sure I wouldn't sleep so soon. I was being watched, I was sure of it. Further into early hours... I couldn't help but find the parked van nearby suspicious. An odd smell was coming from the back. I would've investigated further, if it weren't for somebody coming towards it. Hiding around the corner, I watched as a suspicious man got into it and drove away. I tailed it into morning. I knew there was something off about it. The insides were covered with human blood and entrails, knives scattered around as disposable evidence, the remains bagged up in trash bags. I would've looked into it further, but I couldn't risk leaving my fingerprints in there. Besides, flies kept flying into my face. Later that evening... I was stumped. Parking my car at the Sandy Shores Airfield, I thought over all the evidence and clues I had gathered. Nothing else was leading into anything further. For a moment, it seemed I had lost the trail, until a bush behind me began moving. Turning around and pointing my gun at it, the eyes of madness began running at me, holding a blade covered in blood. I put him down and made sure he never got up again. The bounty was claimed. And on top of that, something interesting was on his corpse. Now that is a great weapon.

Same sh*t, different day and new characters. Almost every moonshine mission fails at the end with black screen. Or disconnect. Less animals than before (haha, Rockstar's contempt for it's user base is pretty galling). What a f*cking mess.
