I think we discussed this up in the mapping thread in detail a while back. I even made a couple of videos showing some of the routes. Essentially I mapped a network of paths in and around Tempest Rim that were left in the game, but unused in the final. We know the map changed since Beta, and so I think these are remenants of the old map. Now that the PC versin is out, I have revistied these path locations with textures on Utlra, and these paths are so much clearer here, that it's pretty much fact now that the paths existed. Here is what I have found: I've now came to the conclusion that there used to be a faster way to reach the Northwest of Ambarino, to Cairn Lake by means of passing by Chez Porter And through the west side of Tempest Rim. Also at the split path, one of the paths goes towards Barrow Lake. See the path here? So much clearer than on PS4! See where it was cut off just here? There was clearly a way through, could have been a narrow path or through a small cove window in the rocks. Many paths and crossroads in this small area just West of Chez.

Here's the unmarked paths so far. Some of them actually look like they could match up to parts of the leaked map, but with some locations switched around. Some paths are faint, others very visible. The camp i refer to on the left is the "secret" out of bounds crafting camp that we found months ago before it was patched on consoles. The right crafting camp is more of a suggestion, since it's a dead end on a cliff, with a good view of Chez Porter below. It's also pretty much where Colter used to be on the leaked map, so it's potentially an entrance path to tha ranch.

Also this potential crater outside of the map, which lines up pretty well with this circular path on the beta map. Could be where we were meant to obtain that third meteorite chunk...

If a Midnight Club-esque update came out, with a bunch of new muscle cars, tuner cars, luxury cars, lowriders and a new 30 (or more) slot garage, I would buy a shark card out of appreciation. Literally take my money. (Though no more than maybe $10) Rockstar could even revisit a few old vehicles that are lacking in the customization department like they did in After Hours, just don't leave them as drip feed content. More options for cars like the Vigero, Dukes, Nightshade, Blade and Stallion in the muscle department. Options for the Asterope, Intruder, Stratum and Blista Compact in the tuner department. Options for the Emperor, Manana, Albany Virgo, Picador, maybe the Stafford and Washington in the lowriders department. It's my ideal update, largely because the real Midnight Club franchise seems to be about dead and this would probably be as close to what a new entry in that franchise would be like. Yeah I know, but it would be nice!

Looks like there's left over terrain deformation for the beta Dakota and the Kamassa River up north. Something that was harder to see from ground level, is much more obvious now from high up.

I wish that it makes good money, but I also wish that it's fun too. Sadly, most Businesses are either one or the other, when ideally, they should be both. For example, Import/Export is one of the best money makers in the game, but gameplay wise is a miserable experience, full of cheating NPCs. Meanwhile, Airfreight Cargo offers some of the most varied sourcing missions in the game, but it's not worth it money wise even with double money. And let's not forget about the Nightclub, which makes you great money by doing basically nothing, which is nice but ultimately pointless.

I've watched this evolve since it started, amazing work. Most recently tree map and collector npcs were added, such an awesome resource.

This post gives me mixed feelings. I have, at times, had some of the same sentiments as OP. I'm a 41-year-old female gamer and often feel pretty far removed from R*'s "target audience" and general fan base. Especially when I get in a free-roam event and my voice chat is exploding with sh*t-talking pre-teen/teenage/early twenties male voices. In general, I've been enjoying RDRO and how it is somewhat "slower" in pace compared to GTAO and other similar games. But even I get impatient with aspects of it--especially the damn animation for putting your bounty target on your horse when you really need to be hitting the key for your gun so you can shoot the a-holes that are suddenly on top of you filling you with bullets. I get in a rage and scream. My 14-year-old has to come tell me to calm down. Takes me right back to when I was about 6 or so and playing Frogger on the the Atari. I sucked at it and couldn't ever get that damn frog to move when I wanted him to. There's a big part of me that has just never taken games quite literally enough to be put off much by whether or not something is realistic or relevant for the time period. I like bright colors. They're fun. With that being said, when they started adding unrealistic vehicles to GTAO, I scoffed a bit but then I was like, "Whatever, I'm getting that thing next."
