Nothing of what you said is designed for kids. Ability cards are a very simple and poorly thought out version of an RPG style passive skill tree. These types of systems have been around for a long, long time and have nothing to do with kids, it's just a (again, poorly designed) system designed to create a variety of play styles within the games PvE and PvP. Fast gameplay also has zero to do with kids in any shape or form. The fastest shooting games out there aren't enjoyed primarily by kids, neither are the slowest games out there. The age demographic has nothing to do with the pace of the game. As for bright coloured cosmetics, also nothing do with kids. They are bought by adults just as much as they are younger players. Go check out an MMORPG cash shop, games primarily played by adults, they are packed with bright, fancy cosmetics. People want to stand out from the crowd, so they buy cosmetics that help them do that and they've been doing it since day 1 of Red Dead Online with things like all white outfits.

Oh that's right, I DIDN'T want to run my businesses in my former crew sessions and hope to grow that rather than many quitting or going solo to do theirs in peace too. Of course, now I remember. None of us did. I swear some of those responses are bait, lol.

At this point I wish they would just implement a vehicle storage system. Then change the mechanic menu to be like the Pegasus menu, where vehicles are organised by brand or something.

What I originally wanted Red Dead Online to be, was a genuine Wild West simulation. All the real models of guns with their actual names; actual prices and wages from the era, as well as era-correct clothing and colors. What we got was a kids' Saturday Morning Cartoon version of life in the Wild West. We have "ability cards" that magically help to either (a) protect you from damage in various ways, or (b) cause additional magical damage to enemies. They sped up the movement and firing speed for the online version of the game months after it was working just fine, and removed various animations in the process; and this resulted in an even more kid-friendly, cartoonish game. And I don't even want to get started on all the goofy colors and pimp-hats, none of which existed (except for ladies) back then. Men caught wearing that sh*t would've been tarred and feathered, then run outta town on a rail. Why is this though? I was raised in the '60s and '70s, so I'm in that first generation of video gamers. The games were crude but I loved them; and as they got better I loved 'em more and more. When I bought my first 3DO in the early '90s, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. Now they've gotten to be near-simulations rather than the silly games I played as a kid, they're so much better in every way. So yes, I love video games, and don't hold back when it comes to buying them. So why do adults get less consideration by the developers of these games? Surely I'm not an exception to the rule: kids who grew up loving video games aren't likely to stop loving them just because their hair gets grey! And unlike kids, they always have cash to spend. I wish more than anything for more realism in games like this. And I think the pvp would be a helluva lot more fun if it were that way. Combat would require more care and strategy than this zany lightning-fast pew pew pew tonic chugging mess of boring invincibility. Surely I'm not in the minority in my wish for more of a Wild West sim and less of a looney toon adventure? or maybe I am.

If they stripped the OP2 of all weapons tomorrow, I wouldn't be bothered at all. We would all be in the same boat, so no longer a threat to each other, and we would still get to use it for transport.

Planned release date is December 10th, but anything could happen that may delay it. Don't take it for granted.

I don't get this either. Here's one for the Rockstar logic thread: Someone blows up cargo, they get rewarded. And don't you dare report them because the game told them to do it. You blow up someone's Oppressor Mk2 while defending said cargo, and suddenly you are a griefer, pay insurance, and get warned about bad sport. They also have the option to report you for griefing. Dear Rockstar, we don't think that griefing means, what you think it means.

You are in the GTA Online forums, of course Online is the subject of conversation here. You are the one telling us that we should be glad that we had nightclubs, regardless of how sh*tty the update was. If you can't handle the fact that we don't like After Hours, even after we have given you detailed explanations as to why we don't like it, then maybe you shouldn't be in a forum to begin with since you see and read other people's opinions...Its the entire point of a forum.

It's a chicken and egg situation. People wouldn't abuse the Mk II so much if it wasn't so overpowered in the first place. Granted, griefers will grief no matter what and sure, there has always been overpowered vehicles before, but that's different compared to deliberately making griefing easier than ever by adding a vehicle that's outright broken.

Swallow content additions, I will explain: The nightclub interior was great and detailed but it got old too fast because there were barely any customization options for it(literally only 3 decoration options and only 4 illumination options)...Motorclubs got two different layouts and more decoration options as a whole than Nightclubs. The vehicle selection was downright ridiculous, the Stafford was the only highlight of the update because it looks amazing even though it has no cosmetic options besides liveries and the standard LSC stuff. The Jester Classic could have been much better and they had the time for that, the rest of the vehicles were forgettable, The Patriot Limo being the worst, it has a interior that looks to be like it was ripped straight from the last gen version, unacceptable. The update introduced the Oppresor Mk2, literally the most cancerous thing that has ever happened in the entire game which was introduced just to piss us off, yeah yeah yeah its good for grinders but the thing is far more trouble than it is good for the general playerbase of the game, the bad outweights the good here. The new tuning parts for the old vehicles were meh at best, only the liveries were mostly interesting, and they never went back to this kind of additions again, there are many many more old cars that could do with new tuning options. The new radio station was nice, but the songs felt very repetitive fast because the selection is limited and most of songs sounds the same...In terms of EDM the DJs they got are weak as hell, personally speaking though as I prefer EDM songs from the late 90's to the late 00's, stuff like Tiesto, early David Guetta, Aviicii, Gigi DiAgostine are more of my tastes. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the fact that the DJs made new songs for this game, but I wish that we could have gotten new musics from other DJs in station at least. But the worse of all is that instead of actually making a update centered the culture and nightlife of LS by giving us access to all the 10 locked nightclubs in the city, they just went and turned some random buildings into our own nightclubs, because they just wanted to make another business so they could make more sharkcard sales. In general, they tried to make a update that would answer to one of the most popular fan requests but thanks to RDR2 release right around the corner they had their hands full and couldn't have made a decent update for us who decided to stick with GTAO.

Since the December update is almost here I hope R* finally adds the Savanna Custom, would be a nice Christmas gift

Ooh I think I arrived in topic at just the right time Also, this game should be commended for a number of things, but wholesome gameplay and player engagement certainly aren't among them. From the start this game has been a shallow multiplayer sandbox which has the occasional Shiny New Thing thrown into it every so often. Not a 'living, breathing world' by any means. Unless you count 'living' as skies filled with shark-jumping examples of how to destroy game balancing and 'breathing' as the sounds from other players mics every time you're locked in a lobby waiting endlessly for another lousy Adversary mode to start
