What would you like added to LSC/Workshops?

I for one think they should add to the stock horn section. There are different pitches of regular car hor in the game, why can't we get car horn 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 for example. The only way to get a car horn is to select stock horn, and then it's impossible to make sure all your vehicles has the same horn because different cars has different stock horns. There are also some cars that has unique horns. I always loved the Duneloader horn, I don't think any other vehicle has it. I'd love to make it my signature horn but I can't because it's exclusive to the Duneloader. I don't get it, all the code and sound effects are already in the game, how hard is it to just add it to LSC? I've also love to see new tire categories. Several vehicles has come out with unique stock tire designs, example I think the first tire type would make a great street tire. Thick side wall, pretty normal thread, I'd put that on the majority of my cars if I could. But we don't have any street tire/rim category, that tire is inly locked exclusively to being the stock tire on a couple of trucks. There are plenty of cars in the game, lots of options to add for just ordinary street rims so why not add it? Second tire could be a Rock Crawler/Off Road 2 category, in terms of rims it could honestly just share many of the rims that Off Road has, kinda like how Low Rider and Muscle shares a lot of the same rims. But again we can't use this tire design either. It's locked exclusively to the stock tire for the Hellion and Shashquash. I honestly don't get why they put all this stuff in the game, only to NOT make it available in mod shops.

What would you like added to LSC/Workshops?

Interior trim color for all vehicles. Option to put wood trim in vehicles. Like all vehicles that have the Windsor interior should be able to have the wood trim applied to the dashboard, all vehicles sharing the Washington interior should be able to have wood trim applied to the doors, all vehicles that share the muscle car interior should have the option for wood trim on the dash as well. Different sidewall designs, thin strip white walls look nice on many full size and intermediate sized post 50's cars, but the Benny's striped tires have the line a little too far out. Being able to have other tire brands would be nice too. Engine model swaps, I hate that my Staniers have a crappy four banger model when at the very least it should share the model with the Washington. Exhaust note editor, some cars sound great (Franken Stange, XA-21) others sound like ass (Jester Classic, Swinger). Last but not least, an in game color wheel, or even just sliders like Midnight Club 1 had that adjusted the hue and brightness. Best case would be if we could choose the texture as well.

    144 fps on 4k

no setup is going to give you 144 FPS on 4K in any modern AAA game. Not even close. That's ridiculous. Seriously anythng below 120 FPS makes your eyes bleed. That sound so dumb. Give up video games if you need FPS like that. . . And if you don't have enough skill to make headshots then that's a you problem not a game problem. everybody else manages at 60 FPS.

Yeah, new wheels. Newer cars are getting released with stock wheels that look better than any options we have. Just say, the Thrax, amazing wheels that look better than almost any option. After you own so many cars in this game, you figure out just how weak the wheel selection is. Hell, color selection is weak too.

    Alien Survival Elimination Game

Welcome to the Alien Survival Elimination Game The object of this is to pick a winner from the different Alien Survivals in GTA Online The Rules: ● You add one point (+1) to your favorite Survival and subtract two points (-2) which you can split (-1) (-1) for your least favorite(s). ● It isn't allowed to add and subtract from the same Survival in one vote. ● You're only responsible for changing the score to reflect your vote, not the person before you. ● You can vote once per day (every 24 hours). You can do it after 21 hours minimum, but if it becomes a habit it will not be allowed. ● When we are down to the last three, you need to vote after 24 hours. Voting earlier than 24 hours is no longer an option at this point. ● Copy and paste the list from the last person before you. This helps out everyone to see what the scores are and we can prevent disinformation from spreading through the game. ● Do not use multiple accounts, this is not allowed and action will be taken if you are found to be doing this. ● Only vote in these games if you have been a forum member for two weeks at least. If the person above you hasn't been a member for at least two weeks, then you should ignore their vote. ● If the person before you votes wrong (not forgetting to write the correct scores, but doesn't vote as the first rule implies), you shall ignore that vote. ● If you are new to this game do as the regulars do. If you disagree; they are right, and you are wrong. Accept that or leave this thread. ● Please show what you voted for in your post, as a example: Example #1: 1. Option one 38 (-2) 2. Option two 41 (+1) Or Example #2: 1. Option one 38 2. Option two 41 -2 Option one +1 Option two Good behavior rules - Please Read ● When quoting someone, remove the score from your post (if applicable). ● Avoid adding remarks about the choice you are voting for or against within the "Scoring Rows". Place it below your vote, as this will make it easier for the next person to vote. ● If you have already posted a vote you cannot change that vote and pick something else. Once it's published it's final. ● Opinions outside of the vote are allowed, but this should be done within reason. ● Cheating, manipulating scores and other deceptive attempts to derail the game is not allowed. ● Should you decide to disregard these rules and take matters into your own hands, you may face consequences from the Moderators. ● Trolling or antagonistic behavior will not be tolerated. ● If you think the list needs work or to be changed please make a suggestion, just don't take it upon yourself to change it. ● This is not the appropriate thread to hold a discussion about your disdain for the game, please post that in the other threads currently open. The List 1. Project 4808A: Terminal - 40 2. Project 4808B: Ranch - 40 3. Project 4808C: Grapeseed - 40 4. Project 4808D: Desert - 40 5. Project 4808E: Arena - 40 6. Project 4808F: Pillbox - 40 7. NO. F***ing NO. I pay my ISP, I pay for Xbox Gold, & I paid over $80 dollars for the game. Bad enough there's micro transactions. Go F*** that idea with a rusty chainsaw. That happens, I uninstall. I'm one of many MANY BETA players who put up with over a year of malfunctions, bugs & shoddy community relations. R* & Take a Dump aren't getting another dime from me, unless it's actual paid DLC or something that truly forwards the game.

Tbh, all of these are pretty bad to me. I think the big turn-off was that they stuck me in a alien body to fight npc's. Like wtf I am Amy not a alien. The new Survival Creator with its myriad of options makes me think that such a level of customisation for the cars should have been a fundamental mechanic of this game. A deep vehicle customisation facility with the ability to tweak suspension set-ups, engine performance, exhaust and exhaust note, ride height, colour wheels and paint mixes, decals, interors etc and for the mechanical adjustments to actually affect ride and performance would be an absolute hit in my book. Players interested in this stuff would spend hours tweaking their rides and swapping set-ups, and there would be whole GTA sub-communities devoted to it. I pretty much guarantee it.

    New RDR2 PC Patch - 1207.69 (1.14) | 13/11/2019

HELLO! So, after 6 hours of Benchmarking during all these days and an immense number of combinations, I finally found my holy grail. (Please consider I have only used the benchmark; I still haven't started the story mode) The exact level of performance I wanted, while having good graphics. This post is to help those who have similar configurations to mine and it will hopefully give some useful insight for people trying new configurations; feel free to link it to people with similar PCs as me. MY CONFIGURATION: - Intel i7 4790K 4GHz (4 Cores 8 Threads) - Gigabyte GTX 1070 Extreme Gaming, overclocked to 2150 MHz (quite a powerful 1070, it's a bit faster than a stock one) - 32 GB Ram G.Skill Ripjawz DDR3 2133 MHz - SSD Crucial MX500 256 GB - Windows 10 PRO 64-Bit (latest update) - Nvidia Drivers 441.20 RESULTS: Minimum FPS: 44 Maximum FPS: 60 (locked) Average FPS: 53 As far as settings are concerned I have put the Xbox One X "ENHANCED" Settings (Basically bumping every setting set to "LOW" on One X to "Medium" and using higher quality settings for everything related to grass, as a personal preference) OTHER SETTINGS: -cpuLoadRebalancing (Used as a boot argument in the Rockstar Launcher, as My CPU while still decent, isn't exactly cutting edge) API: Vulkan (Seems a bit faster than DX12, but I still have to test this) TAA High FXAA No MSAA No Resolution: 1080p Resolution scale: 1.250 Tree Tesselation: OFF (It has an almost invisible effect, while it reduces perfomance slightly) SETTINGS MODIFIED MANUALLY IN THE "SYSTEM.XML" FILE (THE LATEST PATCH SET THESE TO LOW): <snowGlints value="True"/> <deepsurfaceQuality>kSettingLevel_Ultra</deepsurfaceQuality> FINAL CONSIDERATIONS: Given all the testing I made, I can come to the clear conclusion that Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC (for whatever programming reason) simply isn't made to be displayed at 1080p. The game has all sorts of glitches with MSAA and FXAA, but the TAA, as much as it blurs the image, is pretty much mandatory even though it looks quite bad at 1080p. Increasing the resolution even slightly (with the in-game scaler) results in a huge improvement, both to the overall quality of the image and the rendering of the temporal anti aliasing. Of course, being a temporal solution there's still a bit of image softening; you won't be getting a super-sharp picture, but you will be repaid with a stable looking image, without any flickering; the resolution scaler helps the TAA massively in interpreting the information on screen to do a better job. The game with these settings looks glorious, slightly better than xbox one X but running way smoother; I tested every sort of configuration and I can quite honestly say that the graphics look massively better like this than at ultra settings, with a lower resolution and no temporal antialiasing. This simply happens because the whole roughness of the image makes these ultra settings impossible to see clearly, and their benefits (and performance costs) become basically ineffective. I think the problem is that people like me, with still half-decent GPUs, have a psychological block in setting some stuff to medium, as we expect a dramatic loss in quality, but that doesn't happen. Pixel-peeping will always show differences but I think that anything from medium to ultra looks fairly "SIMILAR". Of course this is just a personal approach to the matter, but I hope I've given you some ideas on what to change and test. At this point I'm ready to play! I'm just waiting for a patch to solve the physics-to-framerate issues. I cannot wait for the next patch to f**k up all the performance :') HOWDY!

For all vehicles that can currently go in the Los Santos Customs and be tuned up: Engine and transmission: -Engine swaps for older cars that actually improves performances but sacrifices handling and add weight, on top of also changing the engine sound; -Manual transmission(would require the user to map new buttons and maybe lose some functions on consoles); -Supercharger option for all cars, just like turbo, but that works a little bit different and also sounds different than turbos; -BOV sound options for the turbo; -Customizable gear ratios; Interior options: -Trim color for all dashboards that supports it; -Roll cage options for all cars that actually increases body work rigidity and protects the driver more; -Weight reduction options by removing the interior upholstery, dashboard and adding lightweight the seats; Bodywork: -More bumpers, side skirts, spoilers and hood options for all cars, specially cars that have no options whatsoever; -Bullet-resistant windows; -Armor plated windows(limits or removes the ability to perform drive-by for the driver, compromises vision in first person); -Explosive-reactive armor options; Miscelania: -Stock rims from other cars; -Customizable wheel size and tire width; -Benny's wheels and custom tires; -Colored headlights, also more color options; -RGB scale for all types of paintjobs; -Worn, MP100 and neon paint job options; -Livery options for all cars that don't have them; -Unlock all custom parts that are present in NPC cars on the streets that are not present in LSC such as the Stratum's rear spoiler; -Removal of fixed weapons like the ones of the JB700, Ardent and Nightshark.

No wonder Rockstar doesn't want to support PC from day one.

I don't play RDR but I thought I'd give my two cents on the matter. As others have pointed out Rockstar has had the knowledge & skills plus resources for a number of years now to get their sh*t together when it comes to PC gaming ports. the PC port of GTA IV was already enough of a sh*tshow for them in the past and still is to this day unless you can find the one user created patch that makes the game more stable than what the games very own creators could ever do. It's been over 10 years since the release of IV, more than enough time for them to get their act together. The fact that terrible PC ports are still happening from a highly rated & popular AAA developer is shameful and that people such as yourself OP are defending it is vile. This isn't coming from an Indie developers, this is coming from AAA developer for the millionth time, no excuses should be cut for them for a lousy PC port and buggy launch. If you want to continue to defend their actions then this isn't the discussion board for you, your not going to get the responses you seek here. Your just going to get responses from people who are rightfully cross and rightly so I've said in the past (maybe not on here) that I do cut the smaller Indie guys some slack, their just a small group of people still finding their way around the gaming scene and if a buggy launch happens and they get on top of it, I'll cut them some slack. I can't say I'd do the same for AAA developer through, they know exactly what their doing, if they feel the PC launch is going to be terrible, then they need to delay it for a couple of days to fix the problems. People have been fine with that as the final product ends up being less of a rushed mess and a dumpster fire. We get the product we pay for in the end, we're happy and that's that. You know, the fact that a lot of people were having issues day 1 with this game goes to show there's a huge problem with the port, it's not a minor issue, it's a HUGE issue literally. Imagine if you buy the PS5 or next Xbox console day one and it can't even boot games due to a bug in the firmware, that is a huge issue but I'm sure others like yourself would come and say it's perfectly okay for the consoles to have these problems, their only new after all and Microsoft & Sony will fix it soon. Actually no again if it was having these issues they should've delayed it whatever the lost cost in revenue maybe.

    Alien Survival Elimination Game

The concept behind alien survivals requires some explanation. Take Zancudo alien survival, which has two mini fortresses on the map that afford moderate protection and is much better than the standard survival. Over in the large hangar to the east is a crashed UFO. This is a prop on the ground that you can run around and examine, with one or two other UFOs hovering in the sky with red traction beams (for whatever reason). You play the part of a crash-surviving alien who has to fend off waves of nasty NPCs who are trying to kill you, until you can get rescued or get back to mother. That is the concept. We cannot fight the aliens because we are in the city of Los Santos, not on Mars or somewhere infested with aliens. I know it seems a bit cheap for people expecting some sort of alien wars, but Rockstar thought this out much more than given credit. Things like health packs are now alien eggs, and NPCs sometimes change from wave to wave, depending on the map. The aliens themselves look really good and not like men wearing suits, there are several unique maps and props, and you can even pick up NPC guns if you fancy a change from the alien arsenal. On top of that, It might be best to spend an hour or two testing these survivals before voting; otherwise, I don't see the point in this game. My personal recommendation is Grapeseed because of the awesome choke point up the ladder leading to the top of the building, which allows you to endlessly blast the stupid cops for fun. When the bodies pile up too high, they seem to have an impromptu meeting while their AI systems work out what to do . 1. Project 4808A: Terminal - 42 2. Project 4808B: Ranch - 36 3. 42. Ouch, this is bad. And I'm not talking about how easy or hard it is to fix this, but the fact that the game was released like this. To my mind, there are just two explanations for this: either R* QA is so bad that it never ran the game above console frame rates and/or pay attention or didn't have enough experience on the game on consoles to notice or realize that the drain rates are way too fast or that day cycles are way too short, OR they did notice the issues, but R* decided to release a broken game anyway. Neither is good. Talk about a full priced beta test. When I heard this game would have peer2peer online mode, I made the decision to postpone purchasing this game until the first discount as a minor personal protest, but having been reading about all the different issues players have been having on PC since launch, it looks like I'm going to have to wait for a long while longer. Damn.

    New RDR2 PC Patch - 1207.69 (1.14) | 13/11/2019

Ok two things I found out. Setting the Deep Surface Quality to Ultra gave me 3 FPS boost. Not much, but it's still something. Now I don't drop below 40 at all except near Rivers or Lakes. Also this will solve some long distance subtle texture popins. Second, the ERROR_GFX thing which made my game crash was indeed due to sensitive GPU OC. So if you've this error on game crash, reduce your GPU OC by a little bit until you stop getting the error. I can confirm this as I was able to reproduce this error with higher GPU OC. This patch made this game sensitive to GPU OC just like Shadow of the Tomb Raider, although not that sensitive. Cheers. Cowpokes.

    New RDR2 PC Patch - 1207.69 (1.14) | 13/11/2019

Tested. It was set to low for me. Now I've changed it to ultra and it looks like we have the sweet, pretty mud back.

I've had a few players do that. The salt is real.

Hilarious how you can kill someone a few times, they leave, come back, orbital cannon you and send a message 1-0.

  48. Continues to blow my mind that developers keep tying things like this to frame rate. Supposedly RDR2 was developed for PC alongside console but then something like this shows up and disproves that entirely.

No wonder Rockstar doesn't want to support PC from day one.

When you pay $60 and you can't even launch the damn game, you have more than one reason to be upset, especially considering that they did nothing effective in two days and the game is also poorly optimized. The truth is that this horrible launch is ruining their reputation and rightfully so.
