Main Menu Scene
Jinx. and 7 others reacted to Shagg_E for a topic
Aaaaalright. To be honest, I don't like to publish something that wasn't finished, but I did nothing in modding for about a year, except this tool(I'm still working on it), and I'm afraid the next year will be the same for me. Sooooo... Main Menu Scene v.0.9 "Main Menu Scene" gives you the ability to make your own "Main Menu" scenes with custom maps and scripts, if you have enough modding experience. Mod contains simple example in "Ocean View" hotel("Hotel") and an empty menu("Empty"). Mod contains a special ASI loader by DK(winmm.dll), it's important to use it for this version of MMS. You can also configure MMS in Menu/MainMenuScene.ini 0.9 features: Now you can load the savegames. You can add an almost infinite number of menus and configure the settings file to load random or one exact menu. You can create your menu like with ModLoader - just place all needed files(list of supported files you can find in the ini file) and they will be loaded automatically at the menu startup. And they will be unloaded automatically at the game startup. Just more customization. Cool story: Actually, it's a quite stable version, the only thing that will be changed in the final 1.0 release - is a few new little features and maybe more menu examples. Any menus that will be created for this version of MMS will also work in the final 1.0 release. Installation: Just drop "Menu" and "plugins" folders and winmm.dll library into your game folder. "Hotel" menu scene needs the last version of CLEO library(http://cleo.li). Known problems: "Heavy" collision models for "Main Menu Scene" cause a game crash when loading a new game. So please don't use them. "Player Skin Setup" menu causes a game crash. That's because the menu uses a different img archive. And that's why this menu was disabled in the menu scene. BIG thanks to Sektor, xanser, and ThirteenAG for parts of code and necessary memory addresses, and DK for his wonderful ASI loader! Enjoy! DOWNLOAD I don't know, what's wrong with GTAGarage(can't submit or edit any file), so it's temporary hosted on my site This work is not copyrighted, please feel free to modify or distribute. đź“° The New Lampadati Novak
ALifeOfMisery and 7 others reacted to Volganor for a topic
Plus Triple Rewards on the S.A. Super Sport Series and More You want an SUV. No, that wasn’t a question. But you also want the kind of chic that only an Italian supercar designer can provide. Impossible? Enter the Lampadati Novak, a standard SUV with the soul of a slightly superior SUV. The days of choosing between utility and style are over – as of now. The Lampadati Novak, available now from Legendary Motorsport. There's something exhilarating about cycling between pushing a Hotring Sabre to its limits on a course that requires you to defy both death and gravity in equal measure, to careening around Los Santos Golf Club with weaponized RC Banditos, to criss-crossing the streets and skies of Southern San Andreas in an undersized British import. Luckily, the S.A. Super Sport Series, featuring a rotating selection of Hotring Circuit, RC Bandito and Issi Classic Races is paying out Triple GTA$ & RP to reward your efforts. If you're looking for something a touch more traditional, the Race Series is dishing out Double Rewards all week long. You can even slap a decal on the side of your car and do vroom-vroom noises, if that makes you feel good. No judgment here. Whether it's tracking down a shipping container or escorting an armored truck back to The Diamond, there's plenty of fun to be had - and money to be made - in Casino Work Missions this week, paying out 2X GTA$, RP and Casino Chips. Stop by the lobby of The Diamond Casino & Resort and give the Lucky Wheel a spin for the opportunity to win GTA$, RP, clothing and more. This week's top prize is the Vysser Neo, a sports car so sophisticated that it almost feels like a misdemeanor using it to pick up drive-thru fast food. Almost, but not quite. If you have a stack of chips burning a hole in your back pocket, feel free to stop by the Casino Store in the Diamond to do some conspicuous consumption. There are artworks from Oz Bisset and D Redd that you can use to festoon your Penthouse property, as well as exclusive decorative pieces from brands like Bigness and Broker. Should I buy a house in Paleto bay?
iLikeDrivinInMyTruck and 7 others reacted to Rumblebud for a topic
It's usually quieter down there, as an addition to a home, there's a few business properties in relatively close proximity such as two Motorcycle Clubhouses, Biker businesses, Paleto Forest Bunker & Facility if you want to make it your home....away from home. You can also anchor a Yacht there (if you have one) and endlessly enjoy spectacular views and sunsets. A bit of extras to Paleto Bay - convenient access to personal aircraft on the beach, Pegasus aircraft beside the Police Station helipad, sometimes rare vehicles parked by Beeker's Garage such as a modified Rat-Loader, various truck trailers, and occasionally a bulldozer to toy around with in the construction yard. The general Paleto Bay area contains some of Dynasty 8's best and most unique individual properties.8 points -

Saving always worked. Saves from older versions cannot be loaded on newer versions though. -------- While me and LosTigeros are working on UG-MP, The_Truth, TheBlackLion and others are working on VC and LC. They fixed a lot of (reported) bugs so far and are continuing to do so. Here are some screenshots: Removed the "inside non interior version" of the Downtown Vice City Pizza Stack. As a result, the entering cutscene now shows a black box instead of a part of the interior itself. This road gap issue in the VC Docks is also fixed.7 points -

I had to watch a guide on youtube to figure it out, pretty simple, really, but no less "lucky" than blackjack thanks to R* coding. The BIOS thing I feel like is related to people on AMD using extremely old AGESA versions that didn't include needed instructions for the game to run. Those on Zen 2 MUST upgrade to the latest BIOS independent of the games you're playing. As for "the worst launch", lol, some of you needed to be here for GTA IV, it was magnitudes upon magnitudes worse than this. These issues are starting to be isolated - apparently CPU's with 4 cores and 4 threads have severe issues whilst others (hyperthreaded or above 4 cores) don't have issues with freezing. According to GamersNexus' investigations, this might be the same issue GTA V had with similar types of CPU's where map streaming stopped working and being impossible to use Self Radio due to hard stuttering and map streaming failures, so it might be inherent to RAGE for years and just exposed now with a more demanding PC release. Does RDR2 PC have issues? Yes. But I also think they have a much higher chance of being fixed than with GTA IV, because current builds of RAGE on PC aren't ports, they might have their bugs (console versions of RDR2 also have issues and reports of "downgading" and such...), but it's NOTHING like GTA IV, which was an Xbox 360 port done in a few months by Rockstar Toronto. Is this a lack of sufficient QA? Maybe, and most likely, but this is far from the worst launch of any game, or any Rockstar game. There's graphics settings issues to be fixed, shader issues with FXAA to be fixed and stuttering/freezing with 4 core 4 thread CPU's to be fixed, along with other completely normal PC release issues (the game has been released to the masses only 2 days ago), but the game runs just fine (normal GPU and CPU usage, no freezes, etc) for lots of people, me included - Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB 3200Mhz RAM, GTX 1060 6 GB OC'd, I can reach 60 FPS in many areas of the game like the plains and at night, and on average it must hover around 40-50 FPS (I will have to run the benchmark when I'm near the game again), with the default suggested settings which are a mix of Medium and High (except reflections that were set to Low). This isn't really an optimisation issue IMO, it's more that there are bugs with the engine itself with some more outdated configurations that I fully believe will be fixed. GTA IV was unrecoverable and the launch was much, MUCH worse than this. People with very powerful computers could barely play GTA IV, which isn't the case here (talking about 4+ core CPU's, monster GPUs and such). 2 cents, etc5 points -

Rockstar are no doubt hard at work trying to fix this. I love what they did to his character arc during Chapter 1 through 6. It made him a much better character and it's truly remarkable to see how far he's come. I love to see his gears start to spin when Jack gets kidnapped. You can see the birth of the man he'll later become. However, he feels way too similar when you get to play him in the epilogue. It's like he's still the gullible 26 year old outcast he was. Everything is so different about him, from his stare to the way he speaks to his mannerisms. In 1911, he screams "I got this". In 1907, he screams "what's happening?". One quote that really reminds me of 1911 John's attitude is when he bluntly asks Mr. Dickens (at Pronghorn) if he's married to which the latter declines. John replies : "That don't surprise me." That's the kind of cold, quickly thought, comeback John would spit at the ones nagging him. I feel we needed more of this because right now, I'm really struggling to call epilogue John the same character as RDR John.5 points -

Geisterfaust and 4 others reacted to Jenkiiii for a topic
I respect your opinion, but for me, catchup completely ruins my immersion in the game and makes me feel like I'm playing a silly arcade game from the 1980s. I recently played a playlist with some people I vaguely know, and it reminded me of a tadpole swimming through water. Imagine a large head of 12-14 racers at the top, followed by the tail (a few stragglers below). The head pretty much stays solid until any type of turn or obstacle is met, followed by an explosion of vehicles while the crazy slipstreaming meets barriers and railings. Real-life mechanics don't work in that way; the best drivers get ahead and are gone, and the worst drivers trail in at the back. Artificial sweeteners are inbuilt into the game to give the illusion that it's tight and equal racing for all concerned, but it's that artificial aspect that ruins racing events in GTA online for me, especially on wide-open stunt tracks followed by sharp turns and tubes. I tend to avoid these types of race events like the plague, but made the mistake of being drawn into a playlist today - one of the worst "racing" experiences I can remember in a long time. I hate being a TADPOLE! Autoaim is a matter of preference, just not mine.5 points -

The PC Version when it works looks fantastic and it's beautiful, but it has issues that shouldn't be there. Specially since we've gone through an entire year RISKING BEING SPOILED BY CONSOLE GAMERS. Plus, being spoiled isn't even the major problem. Imagine waiting one year just to play a game you want. Everyone out there is having fun and you're not, it's such a f*cking tease.5 points -

Having just started a RDR1 playthrough for the first time in two years, I am baffled at how different John acts in RDR as opposed to RDR2. Instead of being this bumbling socially awkward muppet, he's this menacing, calm and collected, ice cold killer. He's pretty much Arthur but without the need to punch and scream at everyone. I've lost some respect for RDR2 for treating such an iconic character this way.5 points -
