Red Dead Redemption 2 is indeed in the latest Nvidia driver!

PRE-LOAD CONFIRMED!

In this increasingly digital era for gaming, pre-loads are definitely important and if Rockstar don't do one here it would be a very valid concern for many people. Due to download speeds and limits in some areas - and seemingly no option for a physical version - RDR2's release date may as well not be November the 5th for those people. There's even social aspects that get hurt by not doing pre-loads, getting games on day 1 and being part of that conversation / event is something that's valued by many people. It's no different than say seeing a film on opening night with yer mates, or getting together to watch a big season finale of the latest show. It's just poor form all round for many reasons to not do a pre-load. However, it isn't a reason for you to go throw your toys out of the pram, especially when you're putting expectations on arbitrarily picked days and times for when you expect to get information. That all being said, I expect they'll do one. Pre-loads weeks in advance are rare and while it'd be nice because the game is gonna be a big download, typically pre-loads go live only a couple of days before release.

That applies to the console versions that were announced YEARS in advance... And GTA V PC was announced months and months in advance. Anyone calling delays I just have to assume are trolling, like wtf. Edit: Ok this isn't even worth anyone's time.

Yea that's one of the weaker Halloween exclusive modes I've seen in a game tbh. Why not just do a zombie survival? Or player zombies vs player hunters if you wanna do PvP? This running around for masks trying not to get stabbed by tanks is a big fat meh. Why is Rockstar so scared of survival modes in RDO lol

Halloween Meet.

Who even cares about leaks anymore, honestly? The game's a year old. Unless there's all new story content they're trying to keep secret for the PC version (unlikely), there's no genuine reason for there not to be a pre-load.

Just hide the executable. No executable, no modding, no nothing. GTA V was preloaded on the Rockstar Games client too with the executable hidden. It wasn't cracked with that.

Online? 3/10. This kind of network code and grind would have killed any other game, but due to this thing being GTA it survived. The things that make Online playable are actually the things that are making GTA V great and unique: genre and map. I've wasted a lot of my time in Online grinding stuff (my fault completely), when the funniest things to do are mostly free. Online only survives because there's no competition in terms of core game (nothing to replace GTA with) and on consoles where alternative multiplayer is not available.

Lucky Wheel - 38 In these specific cases the 3 card poker gives you slightly more opportunities to interact and 'play' the game, so it's a little more enjoyable. Normally blackjack is my favorite, but splits don't happen often enough, and compared to the higher payout potential of poker it's lacking a bit. Simulated video horse racing....well that pretty much sums it up: insanely boring, and I don't really care about the money/chips. Roulette I haven't bothered to figure out all the angles, it's not intuitive, and I don't feel it's compelling enough to bother. Lucky Wheel has given me crap (clothes!) far too often, but I did have a streak of car wins, so....meh.

Well I said back in the beta days that if they ever added poker to the game I was going to make a Maverick character, so I went ahead and recycled the last of my old fat faced characters. And I'm happy with how much he looks like James Garner, another one of my favorite actors in the western genre. This character wants nothing to do with bounty hunting, trader work, or hunting -- though he does fish once in awhile. His only capitalistic ventures are gambling, robbing, and antique-collecting.

How are people still calling for delays when RDR2 PC tunables were pushed to the cloud servers and NVIDIA updated their driver profiles with RDR2, all literally today, lmao

A new video will be public on Monday showing a low rider or a street racer. Maladoy made some vehicle progress recently which was added to the mod. Still not sure when the promised weapon syncing video will be up... The other change Maladoy made was SA styling the VC Stallion. A convertible variant is now used in VC, while the current hard top one is used in LC, which lacked a SA styled stallion altogether. This was really just a mixup back when I originally added the hard top version. Screenshots:

Today, I had a guy on his Mk2 literally blow up the helicopter you’re supposed to follow in Chopper Tail at the beginning. This is the first time I’ve seen someone do this. Mind you, it was a level 200. He was probably trolling, but holy sh*t, man. Oh, and then he blew up the vehicle after the chopper landed. I left after that.

It's a funny coincidence that I just watched Saturday Night Fever. This means that there's a good chance I'll be adding a new nightclub It will probably only be accissible for new dancing side missions, which will be heavily influenced by this scene from the movie: Good news is - Frank.S added a custom script to a very early SoV build, which allowed custom animations to be played via key press. I've been playing with it and added a small dance snippet already. As there's currently no suitable location in SoV, Flint visited the Myriad Islands' Party Dome to practice some new moves. It was a big success!

No preloads yet, however, there seems to be a mention of decrypting in the JS files now (an action for decrypting a title): "UpdatingPanel_Decrypting":"Decrypting {title}" This would work like Steam, where a preloaded game is decrypted.

Nah, just posting a picture of what I want so bad for Halloween in this game, but will probably never happen because Rockstar. But a man can dream, though, right?

Tunables, it is the server-side file Rockstar use to enable/disable features, they use it for events and many other things. It's not limited to events, we don't know what the heck it does since we can't decrypt it. Yes, it's new. It wasn't there before.

It totally sh*t on the lore and continuation of the HD universe. Like, if we wanted saints row 4 we’d play that. Like a lot of the stuff is cool but a lot of it is just excessive.

5/10 Multiplayer modes are rarely better than their single player counterparts, but this was one. And I think that's the worst part about this game. Creative thinking and dev compitence thrown out the window just for a quick couple hundred million. The best times I've had playing this sh*t hole was with a buddy, doing absolutely f*ck all, and that's where the game is at its best, when you aren't playing the objective. But when you want to play the game, it fails to be a game. Every single aspect of the game are mediocre in their own right; gunplay, racing, missions, pve, pvp, stability, matchmaking, you f*cking name it. It's an anti game, and one that's potentially changed the landscape of all games moving forward.
