I had the games ending spoiled (through multiple ways) and the ending was still epic to me. The game is a fantastic journey. Also to those who will be playing it for the first time, without spoiling anything, do not skip the Stranger missions. There's some incredible stories there.7 points -

FTFY. Anyways, After Hours would have been way better if it truly was a business consilidation update. - You should be able to run and sell crates as an MC and you should be able yo resupply and sell your businesses as a CEO. - The Nightclub Warehouse should have been an actual warehouse that you fill up with stock from your other businesses, instead of being a business that makes stock from other businesses by doing nothing. - All kinds of cargo and supplies should have been able to steal from other players, also all cargo, supply and sale vehicles should be inmune to lock-ons from Homing Missiles. - The Terrorbyte should have be able to check and buy supplies for our businesses. Also, you should be able to store any bike inside of it instead of only the Oppresor Mk II. - The Oppresor Mk II should never have been a thing and if it did anyway, its upgrades shouldn't have been locked behind pointless paywalls (Nightclub > Terrorbyte > Workshop) when both the MOC, the Avenger and eventually the Arena Workshop are a thing. - Tequila-La, Bahamas Mamas and several other bars and clubs should have been open to the players in addition to our own Nightclubs. - The B-11 Strikeforce should be the complete opposite of what it currently is. - You should be able to bring cargo from Business Battles to their respective businesses instead of only the Nightclub. IMO, After Hours was the most dissapointing update ever, it could have been way better. IMO, the biggest flaw with The Doomsday Heist is that you need to buy a Facility in order to play them by yourself, when being able to run them through any of your High End Apartments like the older Heists would have been just fine. R* just trying to reinvent the wheel every time in order to make us spend money for the sake of it. The only Facility in the map should have been the one under the satelite dishes in Blaine County. Vehicles like the Khanjali and the Chernobog could have been either Hangar exclusive vehicles or Pegassis vehicles and the Orbital Cannon should have been exclusive to the Act 3 Finale.6 points -

Something i wanted to share: It allows me to hold the camera in this position - and watch the aircraft from a different angle. It reminds me of the shoulder camera in GTAIV, the ground seem to zoom faster by and i can watch the actual aircraft from the side, instead of just its tail. And i can control it, without paying attention to my thumbstick too much. You can have a file of it, if you're interested. https://www.mediafire.com/file/7gh2di8xl4xnf75/fork.stl/file https://www.mediafire.com/file/7gh2di8xl4xnf75/fork.stl/file5 points -

The problem with references is that,Rockstar reference past games or characters all the time. But if Rockstar mention anything at all, that matches with something that they do in the future, people will latch on to it, and claim it's a tease or hint at a future game. For example if GTA VI does take place in Vice City, a lot of people will believe that every reference to Vice City in GTA V was a tease or hint at GTA VI. While ignoring every other reference to every other city/location in GTA world. That Vinewood art on the ride in Firefly Island is a good example. Back around 2010, I think when the physical EfLC game was released, and it had the manual advertisement saying "Liberty City It's Over! Next Stop..." was when people noticed this Vinewood thing. People thought Rockstar put it in with TBoGT. But it was there all along from day 1. No chance they did that intentionally, 5 years prior (in relation to trailer similarities, they're merely iconic LS landmarks/iconography) I think the biggest problem, is that people latch on to one location, and then confermation bias takes over. People go out of their way to see evidence that points to Vice City being next. While ignoring everything else that either suggests otherwise, or nothing at all. The new pink car is another good example. Looks like a Vice City-esque car, in a way. But what about every other new car they add? I think the cherry picking is what get's me. It's all very interesting.5 points -

The Vapid Stanier Appreciation Thread
Aghakhi and 3 others reacted to —TheSquid— for a topic
Few things will ever achieve the ubiquity of the Vapid Stanier. We've all been in the back of one—the only differentiating factor being whether or not our hands were cuffed. First offered as a package for Vapid's 1955 sedans, the Stanier met some success, but it would be nothing compared to the stardom it would experience almost four decades later. A 1993 Stanier ad I managed to get my hands on after doing some digging on a few collector's sites The Stanier name would be resurrected in 1980 by a combination of cocaine and botox, and kept healthy through a strict jazzercise regiment. Land-yachts were in their twilight years; a result of increasing gas prices, and a sentiment that would be further cemented by yet another oil crash in the mid-1980's. But the Stanier hadn't matured yet. It wouldn't be until 1993 that it finally wiped its nose, bought a suit and got itself a job. Surprisingly, it was a hit. Featuring sleek and refined bodywork, a soft suspension and accommodating interior, Vapid achieved a balance between economy and luxury with their new flagship car. The Stanier was, in all ways, remarkably unremarkable. A perfect vehicle for middle-class Americans. My 1993 Stanier LX The Stanier truly was the rising sun upon the car industry we know today. Vehicles haven't exactly been getting smaller these days, though luckily MPG numbers haven't either, and you can thank the Stanier for that. With its unnecessarily large size, inoffensive looks, its easy marketability and ability to be mass-produced, the only thing the Stanier was missing was a personality and better mileage. But then again, so were the boomers and lower-middle class Americans eating straight out of its hand. With that said, the Stanier wasn't a complete drag. It was lean and athletic enough to warrant being purchased en masse for every police department in America, after all. Parts were cheap and easy to access, which allowed for it to be modified effortlessly as well. This is something I realized quickly, at the price of one too many traffic tickets. Moreover, the Stanier was cheap—perhaps embarrassingly so today. $10,000 will land you a mint condition, museum-grade example. 0-60 times were around eight seconds stock, and they were whatever the hell they needed to be for a police vehicle. The suspension was versatile enough to warrant some off road use when necessary, and handling was reliable, if not predictable. All in all, it may not be hip, it may not be cool, but I won't be letting go of the keys to my Stanier anytime soon. She's got more history in her engine bay alone than any of your fancy newfangled hypercars, and her smile is as charming as ever.4 points
