I’m replaying V story and I just realized how f*cking stupid the story is. That yoga mission, what the f*ck. How stupid is that sh*t I thought was fun 6 years ago.

One million players were playing on the release day of the casino update. I would assume 90% of the gaming community own this game, keep in mind it is a paid game unlike Fortnite. The Heists update was the most requested update by the community, it brought lots of players back to the game. Same case with the casino update. I believe many players of the community wanted to play as cops ? so if the next update feature Cops n Crooks, it is likely to bring back lots of players too.

    GTA 6 Speculation & Discussion

VI can be the IV moment of the PS5 generation given the so far promoted leap in processing, streaming and storage power of the upcoming consoles. With IV, a whole new weight and depth were applied to objects, pedestrians, animations, cars, audio, ambiance and visuals. IV was a seismic shift in how a Grand Theft Auto world is felt and experienced. The shift from IV to V was severely limited by the available hardware and this won't be the case with VI.

The Vehicle Wishlist and Speculation Topic

We're nearing the end of October now and the spirits are growing restless over in the Red Dead Redemption 2 forum, but the dripfeed drags on for us still haunting the lonely streets of Los Santos. Maybe the last few lost souls of Fallout 76 will come join us upon our raft, and we might cross the Styx together, but that is yet to be seen. Halloween looms on the horizon, friends! Keep your shelves stocked with low-quality chocolates and houses decorated by rotting ground gourds, lest the gremlins deem you worthy of wicked trickery! Of course, I know that the practice of trick-or-treating is more of an American thing, so its surrounding fervor is lost on those of you in places like Kawamata and Edinburgh-of-the-Seven-Seas, but it wasn't always that way. Only in the midcentury did All Hallow's Eve turn from traditional observation of superstition to a time of candy-giving and costume-wearing merriment, old practices from the Celts mutating in the Atomic Age - the 1950s. That's right, it's part two of the three-part American Midcentury Throwback! The war's over and, while Europe rebuilds, America is on a roll. Industry is booming now that all the skilled workers are home, advanced technology developed for the war effort is finding use in every household, and everybody's feeling pretty optimistic about this nuclear thing the science boys keep talking about. What were luxuries only ten years prior are now available to the common man as the GI Bill pays out, so prices drop and a new storefront opens on every street in America, showing the Reds what capitalism can do. More homes are being built than ever before as the baby boom takes off, and every one will soon have a television set to bring Hollywood studios straight to the living room, and every one will soon have a new Hudson, Oldsmobile, Mercury, Ford, or Edsel in the driveway. These are the cars that will define the 1950s, for better or worse, as one of the fastest-changing decades in American history. From Swing to Rock n' Roll, Squares to Beatniks, and Pontoons to Big Fins, it's a time so remembered it's hard to think it was only sixty years ago. Let's get back to it. 1958 Edsel Ranger Starting off strong with an infamous flop from Ford. Internal sabotage, public distaste, and economic downturn all contributed to the quick death of the Edsel division. It hasn't aged well, but in that it has become something of a time capsule, I think. 1952 Hudson Hornet The venerable Hudson of stock car fame. Now mostly remembered for its triumphs at the track, I love these cars for their style and class beyond their sheer might. Hard times soon took Hudson, but I'm happy we knew them when we did. 1955 Mercury Montclair Or a '56, with its neato zig-zag chrome trim. What I'm really fascinated by with these is the Sun Valley package, an early clear-roofed design. It was an education in heat buildup for Mercury's stylists and soon discontinued, but still a cool idea. 1950 Oldsmobile 88 Can't disregard the iconic Oldsmobile, even if it started off as a '49 model. Like the Hudson, the Rocket 88 here was a master of racing and a hotbed of post-war engineering. Don't doubt an Oldsmobile just because it's old. 1958 Chevrolet Apache Though I won't say no to a Cameo Carrier. Listen, I know we've got the Slamvan, and that's fine, I've got two, but I want something... More original. More 50s. More chrome. More Fleetside. I feel like I'm the only one who likes Fleetsides...

    Thundersmacker's Workshop

Hey everyone it's been a while, I hope everyone has been enjoying October or "Spooktober". I've been enjoying it by playing Until Dawn and the Resident Evil 2 Remake, both of which are awesome. Anyway, I'm going to try to get back to working on some more projects in November, some converts and maybe some original stuff. Until then I have a rather large update for my mods. Well the update itself isn't big, it's just that most of the mods that I've uploaded to GTAInside are effected by this update. The update is a fix for a problem I didn't even know existed until someone on Discord informed me about it. Apparently when a vehicle is exported from Zmodeler, it negates the physics applied to any open-able parts like the doors, hood, and trunk so they'll basically "float" and not be affected by the inertia of the vehicle moving. After some digging by me and GCT, we found out that this bug can be fixed in Openformats by doing some complicated math. I won't bore you with the specifics but I found how to fix the bug and that's what I did...fix it. Obviously the goal is to get this fix applied to all of the vehicles I've released, but the ones that haven't been updated yet either need other updates first (like the V Packs) or have low priority. I've put a list of all the vehicles in the spoiler below that have had this fix applied with links for all you lazy people.

    The RDR2 Beta Hunt

So one of my Exploring Beyond Subscribers contacted me with something cool this week, that I wanted to share with you guys. He found an Antique Brass Compass on the Grand Korrigan. This isn't the same as the Old Brass Compass found in the time travaller's homestead. And it seems as if it was meant to be used for crafting. I'll let the video do the talking... What do you think then? Is this something left over from deleted content? Could there have been more to that mission and they just forgot to remove it after cutting it down? I can't believe we're still finding new things in the game a whole year after tjhe game came out! Crazy lol

Well people might more often than not prefer to do the missions alone or with friends they can directly communicate with. Playing with randoms is the extra super secret hard mode because they run around with rocket launchers and oppressors and deluxos blowing everything up including mission objectives and then act like they did nothing wrong and why they failed. Those would also be the "game told me to" when they destroy cargo. That and the Repo/Dispatch missions take a strange priority over other contact missions in the voting screen. Sure they pay real good, but people want variety.

Zero chance there is no pre-load period. Some facts. Largest R* game ever at 150Gb First major game launch on their new servers They need to iron out any servers issues in the days prior to launch. A majority of users will not be playing day 1 if they have to download at launch. My bet is the pre-load period will start immediately with the next announcement on either Monday or Tuesday next week.

Am I the only one who is going to continue using a controller when playing on PC? It just feels so much more comfortable to me, usually third person games mostly do feel a lot more comfortable with a controller. FPS's are where I draw the line though, it's kb/m for me in that regard.

Wait a minute?... LCS version is out as well? This can't be more perfect. Well until player/ped camera gets implemented someday, until that day, this mod will be the definitive camera mod for old GTA games as GTA3 and GTAVC. Great work.

Hunting wagon whenever you can bring it. I’ll stop on my way to a bounty to PiB a herd of deer with my bolt action - Flee the Red Hare (my horse), summon the wagon, grab the best carcasses, dismiss, whistle and be on my merry way. Load that f*cker up as often as possible. Even if it’s coyotes, middle of a mission - most have a buffer of at least 3-4 minutes that can be used to do this can, some don’t even start until you get near an objective. Don’t waste those valuable moments. I know it’s not the fix we need from R*, but it’s something you can do to cope with it.

Can I Run RDR2 on my PC?

Because of the volume of threads asking the same thing, let's use this thread to get advice on whether you will be able to run Red Dead Redemption 2 on your PC, or not. Remember that the game isn't released yet, so no one can tell specific optimisation tips. This thread is NOT for discussion about the specs themselves. Use this thread for that. A reminder of the game's PC specifications:

I always remember the old days of Red Dead Multiplayer and I keep wondering what was the factor that made it fun ? Maybe it's the basic game play done right ? I still remember how I would go from one part of the map to the other with no reasons to do so, maybe it didn't have much weight as RDO does ? Nowadays, I hate showdowns and don't play them much, but back then they were the modes that added extra fun to the game. The crap you see in RDO that ruin PVP ? It wasn't a thing back then. If I think about it, maybe it was because the experience wasn't grindy ? The max level was 50, so everyone was like on the same scale. Just give us a simple Showdown mode, no ability cards, no stupid tonics, let us lock the view to either first person view or third person view and have it auto aim or free aim only, also let us lock the weapons. This way I can host a mode, where I'll lock it to third person view, because I know damn well the same idiots who use tonics and the tank build will instead abuse first person view to dance like a freaking idiot, they will be like "look at me, can't touch me, moving too fast .. I don't need cover, I'm freaking idiot"

Another thing I love about online is that fact that you have to have at least one other player to do stuff with. Why in the holy mother of f*ck can’t I do things on my own? For example the casino missions. With a little time and patience I could get those done by myself.

I remember several situations involving a hoard of broomstick bois... Haulage. An indestructible trailer and an impossibly strong truck (Phantom/Hauler Custom) is enough to piss them off to hurl insults and accusations, because the combination of both truck + trailer can soak all of their rockets until drop-off. I'm not certain if I've ever been reported for it, but certainly gotten kicked - they instantly think I had some form of godmode when they have to stop and register as MC to refill their MKII's rockets. In all honesty, that tells me nothing else than they should explore so much more of the game rather than flying around on that goddamn poor excuse of a motorcycle.

I've had no issues finding jobs on call, aside sh*t players of course, lol. Although I do enough co-op on heists so I do enjoy doing contact missions alone more often than not. Plus I'm way past the point of money meaning much so joining randoms that use Oppressors and such to soar through jobs is a big reason I prefer no randoms too. I wanna shoot some bandits too. ☹

There were a ton of casino Cheng mission invites, I think the newer player base is unaware of the less intensive and less frustrating OG missions. Lucked out into a good 5 person group that were doing the 6 player contact playlist. Easiest money ever.
