Talking about maps, you can use the compass instead of having the radar, I used it and works great. It shows you just where North, South, West and East are + there is a way point (mission/anything that is a waypoint) that you need to follow to reach it. No roads, no icons or anything, just that.

I really hope they update the launcher to display: 1 - Achievements 2 - Hours played (Yeah IK it's under settings but I'd like it to be in front) 3 - Images taken with the camera and uploaded to RGSC. Basically like a Steam page for any game.

It also makes you feel like a badass - I've taken to solving all my problems this way Sometimes I even use it in RDO too

Don't kill me but..............I actually like this bounty. I don't know who voices Philip Carlier, but he sounds familiar and he has an interesting character. Overall I like the atmosphere of this bounty especially at night. Hopefully when this one is done they can bring this one back around

Not that I'm complaining or anything, but I'm the only one who thinks that being able to win a submarine car with missiles at the Casino is really out of place?

I'm primarily sticking to 1080p because my viewing distance is just right for the screen. I can pretty much cover all angles visually. Upgrading to larger than 24 or 25 inch panels makes no sense for the size of my desk and how close I sit anyway. I mean, I was fine with just a 21.5 inch until very recently. I'm sure I'll upgrade to 1440p one day, probably whenever it starts becoming the new 1080p. But for now, I'm good. I'll just give higher framerates a go.

@Spider-Vice Remember what you said about the IARC rating when we saw RDR2 mentioned on the Australian Classification Database ? Well, Rockstar just updated Socialclub to include IARC ratings.

You all talking about resolution but forgetting two very important things: The distance you are from the screen and the screen size x resolution ratio, also knows as PPI (Pixels per Inch). What Digital Foundry often kinda refers as "pixel density", which is correct. The higher the PPI, the sharper it will look at a closer distance. Depending on the display size increasing resolution yields no benefit. (Such as a theoretical 8K Smartphone, it'd be ridiculous.) Steve Job's claimed that when the PPI is around 300 (apparently it's been studied that this value is actually higher, around 477 PPI [1]) you start to reach a "magical" value, as in, the perceived sharpness is close to the human eye. (Varies with distance though) Apple started all that marketing with those "Retina" displays, which was a little bit bullsh*t but not entirely. Which goes to say that: If you are planning to upgrade your display and its PPI is lower (and you plan to sit at the same distance), you are losing perceived sharpness. e.g: 32 inches 4K vs 20 inches 1080p? [1] http://edition.cnn.com/2010/TECH/mobile/06/10/iphone.retina.wired/index.html Marketing bullsh*t or not, PPI is science. Therefore you can't just analyze displays without ignoring the ratio between the screen size and the resolution. There are also MANY other factors that contribute to image quality. Color Gamut, Contrast Ratio, Panel Type, Peak Brightness, etc... I suggest checking this out: https://www.sven.de/dpi/ My 1080p LG IPS 24" checks out at about 91.79 PPI. My phone (1080p 5.5") checks out at about 400.53 PPI. Looking at a close distance, my phone looks waaaay sharper. I won't ever be able to tell the pixels apart.

GMG is offering RDR2 in the UK for £48.99 (instead of £54.99 via RGL) and then you can get a further 15% discount on that knocking it down to £41.79. Granted SURE it's the standard edition but that's not a bad price if you don't want the boosters.

During the session, my camp got moved from Bolger Glade to the Bayou, without notice. Of course, I was on my way to the camp in Bolger Glade and had to make a 180 turn to reroute to the new location. Arrived at the new location and found nothing there. Only a light blue camp icon on the minimap. What is this? New Collector thing? Have to unearth your camp first? Need the Metal Detector to find it? Wow, Rockstar, that's amazingly unsurprising.
