Trade Route, the one freeroam event I got actual enjoyment out of, with it being 100% PvE, now gets ruined almost every time I play it by some c*nt who thinks it's hilarious to throw explosives all over the place, ragdolling players from the train and destroying crates. As always it's just some dude that is angry that muh Steam isn't getting the game day one, when he probably doesn't care about the other launchers he has for all other games he likes to play amirite? Stab City Survival - 41 (+1) my reasoning for the vote — As good as the Grove Street Survival is for being a legit, faithful survival; Stab City Survival is just way too useful; it makes it extremely easy and fun to max your shooting strength within an hour or so (I have alt characters, and before shooting stat was a tedious thing to max). It's been 3 years since Trailer #1 on October 20th 2016, I was hyped AF FOR THIS! Still the best trailer to me, the music, the vistas and Arthur's line at the end! Jesus the hype for this was real! Every shot, the woods, the sky, the valleys, the plains, Valentine, the bisons and the train, the canoe on the lake, the fire, and the gang at the end! ARGH!

I just find it f*cking hilarious that their entire big brain money move backfired. Because now, people will literally pick every store that ISN'T the EGS. So publishers can go ahead and release games on their own, respective launchers like UPlay and Origin. I'll keep buying 'em from there, and Epic can keep on living in their own little world. I suppose we may thank them for this one day, since they've accidentally encouraged publishers to set up their own shops, which will most likely make Steam budge EVENTUALLY. But that's as far as my already surface-level appreciation goes.

I think even Rockstar knew people would prefer their launcher over Epic so... Pretty great strategy from them.

No one will boycott anything. Those boycott campaigns only work to get YouTube views and then everyone buys the game anyway.

People hate different launchers because everyone hates having 10 different launchers installed on their computer. It just ends up being bloat. That being said though I don't really care tbh I just hate epic because they are shady.

why do people care so much about different launchers? a company's goal to make money, so when they're able to put their product on their own launcher and make 95%-100% of money given to them as opposed to making 70% of said money, they're probably gonna choose to make more money, it's just a launcher for gods sake, turn it off on startup and start it when you need to, not everyone cares about having 300 levels on steam with their 7500 TF2 items showing

I remade my Lemoyne character as an Aberdeen. He's one of the younger brothers of Bray & Tammy. His name is Hoss Aberdeen, but his friends call him Hillbilly Hoss. He's low-rank and dirt ass poor, but as long as he can hunt & fish and rob folks, he's a happy camper.

Rockstar needs to seriously relax on the lobby merging until they figure out how to fix the camp spawns. Every time my lobby number gets low, I get merged and boom...no more camp.

No, consoles have raymarching. It's just a different method used for lighting, it doesn't rely or need anything to do with RTX. Uses rays, but in a different way. It's what makes the lighting be accurate with clouds passing, etc etc. I don't think it has been used in an open world game extensively like this yet though. Watch Dogs 2 on PC had raymarched fog for instance, it looks impressive and realistic but it's heavy.

Raytracing is not Hardware Specific (if you mean NVIDIA specific). AMD is currently engineering Raytracing capable GPUs, which on Windows 10/Project Scarlett can make of use of the DXR capabilities of DirectX 12. (and whatever on PS5) It is not exclusive to one or other brand. Just be patient. Also, having said specific options in this scenario "wouldn't" make a difference. You can still have an improved version of what the Xbox One X version delivers. DXR would just add a few extra things to make the graphics look better, and as always, it's optional. I bet so, game already has Raymarching. Water reflections use SSR, Cubemaps and Raymarching to compensate for all flaws. The cloud and lighting system uses Raymarching along with voxel based illumination. I bet their Global Illumination system is now very similar to the likes of Remedy's Quantum Break, perhaps a bit better. Nobody will be left out of anything. Period. (Unless your GPU/CPU sucks.)

Yep that's why I don't bother with boycotts. They never work. The only time I remember anything like that actually working was when everyone bombed GTA 5s reviews on steam because they tryed to shut openiv down.

Why boycott the game when they can boycott EGS? Is much easier, you get the game on RL or wait for Steam. It's a win - win.

Note to self: If you’re in a solo session, don’t move too far from camp, or the game will try its hardest to merge you with a populated one and yeet your camp and send all wildlife into extinction.

I hate the the difficulty scale Rockstar came up with for the current legendary bounty. "Let's just throw an entire army at him, protecting an asshole who mean nothing for them". At least add in a stealth approach in which you could kill all the guards which would allow you to take the bounty without facing an entire army of enemies.

The SA storyline will become available in 3.4 again. I was talking about the two missions in Snapshot 2.2. Actually we still can not continue any work on Midway whatsoever. Nobody except Mario has the most recent files, I have a few older scenes but they're too outdated. You can also install the standalone 3.3.11 version. After that you just need to throw in the latest 3.3.11 patch and you're done. ---------------- Me and LosTigeros continued working on the weapon syncing code. I SO agree that the reveal trailers are the best ones. They demonstrate the game world in an oh so beautiful way, and the music always gets to you. The great style of the reveal trailers combined with how exciting it’ll be to finally see a new GTA game, the reveal trailer for GTA 6 will surely be an event.
